Do what you want but if you don't want to use the site anymore then just stop using it. That really isn't complicated.

for me it's just a waste of time. (11 sat or 0.13 doge / hour, this is nathing.)
So just stop using them. PLS. DELETE MY ACCOUNTS! f.cking idiot! Just stop using them. If you really want to make them unusable set 2fa and then delete the secret code. We have over 13 million accounts and everyone that didn't want to use the site anymore requested we delete their accounts then that would generate a lot of pointless work.

However, since there is almost no way of knowing which fork will be picked up and added to the group of coins supported with Ledger Software and which one will not, this policy resulted in us still having to prepare for each and every fork
I don't really understand what you need to prepare for these forks. Either a fork will be supported by the ledger or not and if so multiple investors will most likely post here and ask for their forked coins so you dont even need to check it yourself . Up until ledger doesnt announce any support for a fork you can simply ignore it, right? The first thing that comes to mind is they would need to take a snapshot of everyone's balances at the time of the fork.

Just ban ICOs from being promoted in any way on the forum and send the Altcoin Bounties board to the trash bin.

As can be seen on the map the use a comma to separate groups of 3 digits and the decimal period is the English speaking worlds convention. That's what causes confusion, the mixed use of English language words and foreign language numbers.
Yes, That's it. Both my professional and personal software is in English, but currencies and so are local since that is my main usage. I think we can live with it without too much disturbance, especially if we avoid using simultaneously decimal points and commas on numeric values. If it gets too confusing, we (me and others I guess) could play around with local configuration, do the task, and then revert back to default. Dates are another hazard though (dd/mm/yyyy vs mm/dd/yyyy). I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers. The date thing is a case of evolution. A couple of hundred years ago the English used the same format as the US does now. But then someone thought about it logically. Then everyone started adopting dd/mm/yyyy. America is still waiting to have that moment of clarity.
Back to the stats and the "Average online per day" has been baffling me as well. All I can think of is that it means simultaneously online. I think there is a period of time that you are considered logged in after every page load and that goes into the "Total time logged in" stat you see at the top of the page. If that timeout period is very short that might help explain why the "Average online per day" value is so low.

What about MoneroV ? Are you going to support the fork? Thank you.
They didn't support XMO (Monero Original), XMC (Monero Classic) and Monero Zero (XM0) so have a guess.

Lastly, I use a period separator to separate groups of 3 digits due to that being the default in my country (the comma is used as a decimal separator). Same can be said on date formats, where day and month are inverted depending on the country you’re in.

Yeah admin should use that legendary ban hammer given by Thor since he will get a new one in 5 days . It is very hard to get rid of spammer if someone is not using it. By the way, what the f is that songs intro man @TheQuin, it is weird, very weird. I know that they get an instant permaban for copy pasting but I don't really know what the policy is on banning spammers. It's all a bit subjective which is why that lyric "bend not break the rules" came to mind. They seem to find a way of doing just enough not to get banned most of the time. It's probably a good job I'm not moderator because my ban hammer would be worn out. Weird was cool in 1979!

Who are these trolls that this thread is talking about? I think he is referring to those people who disagree/have valid issues with his idea... . I think he probably means accounts like freightjoe and Anti-Cen who spend a lot of time posting about how much they hate Bitcoin and why it's doomed to failure.

What is the chance of one of the owners doing a AMA about Freebitco.in on Reddit or on this forum? They can obviously answer only the questions that they feel comfortable with, but it would be nice to know something more about these people who has done so much for this Bitcoin community. {Example : What motivated you to start a faucet / What was the most money that you paid out with FREE ROLLS in a day or month... etc. / Will the faucet side fade away over time to make way for more gambling... etc.} This is a great idea! Only I would suggest to gather the questions beforehand, like one week prior to the AMA, in order for more people would have the chance to participate. Btw I 'm not sure about whether the site is still owned by the same people who created it. If the site was acquired then it would be interesting to ask some questions to the original creators too. For example, what are they doing now? It is still owned and operated by the person that created it. You can go back to the OP of this thread to see who that is. Feel free to ask any questions you like. He still does read these threads it is just that he doesn't have time to do it regularly.

1. As far as I know, a LN channel is still limited to a maximum of 0.04ish Bitcoin
Currently, channels are limited to 0.16777216 BTC and individual transactions can be no more than 0.04194304 BTC, so it wouldn't be particularly practical. Although I'm not sure how those limits are enforced or if it is possible to override them on a node.

Oh, there was a "f" missing, I actually meant shift XD
lol It kinda surprises me that the timezone is west coast US, because the reward point promotions always start at midnight UTC.
That's just to confuse you I think it's just to make it the weekend for most people but the interest payment cut-off and when the site stats page updates daily would indicate sunny California.

most assume it's btc, but what if one has eth, is there a localbitcoin or something similar for eth?
No. The only option for altcoins is to sell them on exchanges or find someone locally to trade with. Bitcoin is far ahead in the adoption race and most altcoins will probably die out at some point. That also explains why most assume the OP is asking about Bitcoin.

(April 21)Saturday's interest (earn btc) not paid yet.
At least for me the interest has been paid now. Keep in mind that the site's timezone is UTC so there might be a shit compared to your timezone. The site is actually on west coast US time-zone. That was probably why they thought it was late, although I'm baffled as to how a time-zone can be 'shit'.

You must have good luck. Few lucky. Therefore, if you are not lucky, do not take risks.
That's a very interesting theory. But please tell me how you will find out if you are lucky or not if you never take a risk?
