4061  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crypto-friendliest country in the world? on: May 09, 2019, 05:48:57 PM
I've been wondering for a while now which country in the world is the most "crypto-friendly" if that makes any sense... and I don't mean it with a negative connotation. I really wish to find out which country supports crypto and sees crypto as a potential way of taking over fiat. Any suggestions?

Edit: I found this cool article about Malta being super crypto friendly? https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/why-crypto-millionaires-love-switzerlands-taxation-policies/ Although most of these perks only apply to millionaires?

In my humble opinion, Malta is the most cryptocurrency friendly country in the world. Of course there are many other that embrace the blockchain innovation and allow companies develop their products.
Malta is also friendly not only to blockchain companies but also to cryptocurrency enthusiasts and individuals that want to be involed in the industry.

Free trading allow customers which products they are going to buy of not.
So if there is a flood of products from various countries, competition becomes intense and the prices are dropped.
Do you thing that Soviet Union is a good example? ha. Citizens couldn't possess any more than they were producing.
4063  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: May 09, 2019, 05:36:23 PM

Guns are made for one purpose, and that purpose is to kill.
I believe that guns are not weapons, they are tools. How they are used is up to the person holding it.
Guns are especially dangerous in the hands of people who don't know how to use them (i.e., kids and teenagers) as well as those who are mentally ill and/or have a temper problem.
Gun control will not stop violence because a violent person doesn’t need a gun to be violent.
After the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, support for gun control increased dramatically.

Generally in America, the support for gun control has outweighed the support for gun rights.
Are gun control laws constitutional?
What would be your ideal set of laws regarding firearms?

Guns are made for killing indeed.
But if you live in some places that terrorism is rampant it is essential to have a gun in your possession. I would be in favor of banning guns and punish anyone who hold a gun if I was aware the criminals do not have any access in the gun market.
4064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 09, 2019, 05:27:01 PM
Celtics are done for the series.

They only manage to win 1 game and loss the last 4 games, bucks are looking good, they might be the champ this year and Giannis will have a great accomplishment. Imagine if this guy will have its first championship this year, and at the same time he will be the MVP and finals MVP.
Such accomplishments during just for 1 season. This would be the greatest season for Giannis Antetokounmpo for now. Take note, this is not his final season in the NBA he's just a 24 year old guy and have lots to prove and to improve.

Antetokoumpo was outplayed in the first game but managed to read the Celtics game that was played on him and he overcome it.
He has a bright future and hopefully he is going to be the next best player in the NBA when Lebron James retire. Fear the Dear and the Greek Freak.
4065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: May 09, 2019, 05:14:48 PM
Chelsea risks all the season in today's match.
If they win they are still into chasing the Europa League title which will be an important goal as they are going to be qualified to the Champions League next season.
This year the English football showed that is powerful and outperformed all the other leagues.
4066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that bitcoin has crossed $6100, what are your thoughts? on: May 09, 2019, 05:12:23 PM
Many investors that put in funds when the market was appreciating in 2017 and has been disappointed because of what happened in 2018 specially when bitcoin fall below $3200 are now been optimistic about the market and some of them are coming back into the cryptocurrencies market.  New funds are coming in and that is why we are seeing market capitalization growing day by day.
I will like to said that the pattern of the prices'movement in 2017 is repeating itself again and this year is seems to be another bullish year.  As a traders and cryptocurrencies enthusiast,  what are your thoughts about the current happening in bitcoin pricing and other cryptocurrencies?

In my opinion, the growth of bitcoin price happened because altcoins lost value so a transition of funds happened.
There are no new funds added in the market, just altcoins losing value over bitcoin. Maybe investors are afraid of something or it is just a move to push all the market go upwards by initiating an increase in the bitcoin price.
4067  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tax optimization via digital currency on: May 09, 2019, 04:54:39 PM
Tax optimization has already started especially in Europe. I think that there is some positive signs in the US region as well.
Some countries have started thinking of accepting tax payments with cryptocurrencies.
Also, Malta is a tax heaven and it is very crypto-friendly so it is another way for tax optimization with digital currency.

HaHa LOL Spurs, but I like it, never like 2 finalists from same league so this is good!

Also De Ligt and De Jong are called the best, but man do I like Ziyech

Your man has score 2-0 Ajax half time
Cold blood teenagers on his way to final
Ajax is incredible i vote to give main CL trophe to both Ajax and LFC
still next 45 min but Ajax doesn't look like Barca and Spurs are not like LFC yesterday

I am happy to see that Ajax leads the game easily.
We are going to see a perfect final and after a lot of time neither Barcelona or Real Madrid are going to be in the final.
The game will be full attacking and maybe we are going to see many goals scored from both teams.

Yes Tottenham still have a chance after scoring the first goal in today's match anything can happen before the second half ends

Oh man.. What a humiliation... I expressed myself kinda early in the game and I got punished.
I didn't expect that Ajax is going to lose this, but the lack of experience was proved to be an important factor in games like this one. Ajax closed a successful progression reaching the semi-finals and of course they are going to be rewarded with decent cash flow running to the club.
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 08, 2019, 08:13:58 PM
hope you made some money from Rhaegal death  Grin my friend contacted me about the leak like 12 hours before the episode but I was driving to another city so had no access to my bitcoin accounts
managed to bet around 100$ on my local site which weirdly kept the betting open even after the lead , maybe they thought the leak was fake ?

any idea if bitcoin sites kept offering the lines after the leak was released ? would had been really good opportunity since the leak involved Rhaegal , Jaimie banging Bryan and Missandei's death

odds was great for Missandei to die before Grey Worm , but still not sure if betting was available after the leak and if bets were voided or not

I still try to understand in which local bet place you did place your bet. I thought that every option of betting for game of thrones was closed by the time that the first episode went on air.
I see that Khaleessi is going crazy and she will be probably dead, so I think that it is more likely that Jon Snow will be the King.

no many bookies were still offering bets even after episode 3 , bitcoinrush and cloudbet used to offer bets for GOT but now they removed everything

Cloudbet and Bitcoinrush also removed the odds from their sites because of the leaks. Also, what were the cheaters expecting? Sportsbooks can certainly cancel their bets.

That's why it makes me wonder who is this platform that offers Game of Thrones betting after all these episodes.
It is very risky for them to have the bets opened as a leak may lead to huge losses of the booker company.

4071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 08, 2019, 03:35:44 PM
Itt is clear to me now that Liverpool will be more focused on the Champions league as it will be a bigger accomplishment if they win it.
It is obvious that Manchester city is going to win the premier league title.
4072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fair distribution, Fair voting, UBI, Digital Passports on: May 08, 2019, 02:34:08 PM
Fair distributed money supply (not just for us people alive now but for everyone born in the future)
Fair voting system, everyone paying taxes votes on issues, or can create issues to vote on
Digital passports via file sharing
Universal Basic Income duration generator/time dispenser

How much do you think it would cost to make a "watch wallet" or phone with this tech in it? perhaps also a wifi transmitter to.

I am willing to give $80,000(my life savings)  or 10.5 btc to whoever can make 10,000 watches/phones with this in it and I plan to give them away.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139147.0 check 3 post down to see what I am talking about.

Your visions seems to be impossible. First of all, what would be the point of buying phones for the people who don't have? Have you considered if those people have even access to the internet?
And also as for the fair distributed money supply between now and the future, we live under different conditions. You don't know if in the future there would be more money supply, thus the future is going to treat us unfairly.
4073  Economy / Speculation / Re: No bull market for 2019 on: May 08, 2019, 12:48:01 PM
Everyone are talking only about bull market will it come oe or not, are we having it now or not and whatelse. But instead to be so focused on predictions and expectations of bull market users should more focus on present situation and what market is currently offering, how profit could be made now. It makes no sense spending time just waiting for something that might or might not happen.

I totally agree with you.
Possible the most users that are in the market right now bought Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies when the prices were on ATH so they wait for the opportunity to cash out and equal their losses.
The price is growing as we push mass adoption and we create new users in the ecosystem, so probably when this is going to happen the price will more upwards as well.
4074  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: May 08, 2019, 12:38:14 PM
Bitcoin is currently growing, but if we go to the google trend website, we will see that there is no interest and excitement around cryptocurrency and bitcoin. This means that a strong influx of new investments is not foreseen, which means that we should not expect any tremendous growth. It is quite possible another drop to $ 2500.

I wouldn't consider Google as a valid source that would say if there is any interest or not.
Google has banned and regulated words and topics that are cryptorelated so the ordinary people or the new investors would be possible to find information on that.
Apart from that, the price is growing already.
4075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Central Banks in the Age of Blockchains on: May 08, 2019, 12:25:40 PM
This week, the Financial Times reported that the IMF, (International Monetary Fund) and the World Bank, are launching a “Learning Coin” on a private blockchain to gain a better understanding of how blockchains work.

In a statement, the IMF said:

“The development of crypto-assets and distributed ledger technology is evolving rapidly, as is the amount of information (both neutral and vested) surrounding it. This is forcing central banks, regulators and financial institutions to recognise a growing knowledge gap between the legislators, policymakers, economists and the technology. This project begins to bridge that gap and form a strong knowledge base of the technology among IMF and World Bank staff.”

what do you think will be the implications?

https://www.altcoinsidekick.com/blog/chain-reaction

That's an interesting post but as long as I don't see that there is a link for this IMF statement I am being cautious to trust it.
I think that these are just FOMO news in order to show that the blockchain industry keeps getting attention and it is evolving. Otherwise, the price would be going downwards significantly.

And let's not forget some Words of Wisdom from CZ

"Store coins yourself. You fight hackers yourself, and guard from losing wallet yourself. Computer breaks, USBs gets lost.

Store on an exchange. Only use the most reputable, proven secure, exchanges.

Or move to DEX, disrupt ourselves. https://t.co/Ci4ux9I3VD
"

— CZ. Jan 15, 2019

It is nice that the #SAFU fund is going to be used and Binance will cover the losses, but I believe that there will be a big drop in bitcoin price and in market capitalization. I think that hackers are going to exchange this cryptocurrency amount to fiat instead of hodling.
It is not safe to store your coins in exchanges but always some amounts will stay there that traders need to store there for their activities.
4077  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see another Bitcoin 4 week boom such as in 2017? on: May 08, 2019, 12:16:36 PM
Between 17th November 2017 and 17th December 2017 the price of Bitcoin rose from around $7400 to $19300 (according to CMC)

Since that period when almost the whole market was riding high it came back down and hovered around £3000 for a long time. Now finding stability Bitcoin is around $5500 mark.

What next for Bitcoin? What are the market factors needed in pushing for another bull run or mass buying spree?

I think that it is impossible to see a similar bull run like the one that we did in 2017.
In my opinion, there are a lot of individuals that are out of the market right now so we cannot see a huge inflow of money in the market as we experiences in late 2017. If we can't push the mass adoption to the next level then I am afraid that the bull run is not going to come.
4078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 08, 2019, 12:13:00 PM
After yesterday's game I expect an amazing game today as well. I would go again for over 2,5 goals in the games and I hope that Ajax is going to qualify to the final. It would be an exciting game Ajax-Liverpool because both teams are amazing in the attacking part.
4079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 08, 2019, 04:52:59 AM
What an amazing performance from Liverpool.
I knew that if they score a goal early then the situation of the game is going to change and they made it. Even without Salah. Now the final got more interesting!
4080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 07, 2019, 07:06:29 PM
Gambling is not only eating your brain and money but it also eats your time. And I think that this is the most important factor that gamblers should considered.
I realized that I had spent a lot of time that would be useful for doing other things that would give me the possibility of acquiring and gaining knowledge.
