The thing about calling Bullshit is usually the person is just REALLY lazy and gets scared about the idea they have zero control over their lives doesn't want to look it up calls BS and hopes others agree so they can go back to feeling in control.

The matrix was sooo good at showing what is really going on around you.  If you are 100% certian everything around you is real you have a lot to learn.  If you think most of the decisions you've made have been a controlled decision.. you have a lot to learn.

dude, I haven't said that TV is good, I don't watch TV either, but that's not because I fear that the TV's flas rate will "entrain my brain into into a hyperactive state until it becomes fatigued and enters into a theta wave pattern" or whatever he said there, but because I know that TV is just a silly waste of time for the low-minded and because I don't like the thing that I can't chose what to watch, I can only chose the channel, but on the internet I can chose to watch whatever I want whenever I want and nobody can stop me. And because I hate reality-shows that really seem to wash brains. And because the porn on the internet is way better Cheesy

Porn on the web is where it's at.
4063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC on: June 24, 2014, 01:14:12 PM
If a TX is not confirmed by the network after 24 hours the nodes will "forget" the TX and the BTC will remain in the address that you tried to send it from.

That's not entirely true. I've had unconfirmed transactions (specifically, those sent without fee), that have been unconfirmed for 2-3 days, but eventually were confirmed. So I'm not sure what the hard-and-fast rules are here.
This may have been an exception to the rule. My understanding of the Bitcoin protocol is that nodes should delete unconfirmed TX after 24 hours. I looked on google to double check and couldn't find anything concrete. One thing you could do to take care of this issue would be to send a TX that uses at least one of the same inputs as the unconfirmed TX with a bigger fee and this should be confirmed by the network.
Different clients have different behaviour, some rebroadcast for a long time if it remains unconfirmed. Some stop broadcasting after a period of time.

Exactly.
Bitcoin-qt, for example, will keep re-broadcasting your unconfirmed tx.

It will...?  Didn't seem so..  Transaction number never showed up on blockchain.info soo.. I gave up and did what I did.
4064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC on: June 24, 2014, 01:13:08 PM

I've already re-sent the BTC and re-downloaded the blockchain.

It was synced with conections, I have a feeling it might of been because I closed the client before any confirms.
Is sounds like you are using bitcoin-qt, don't. Multibit is a lot faster and easier. Multibit should be default client.

Security is the most important feature to me.  I am using QT.

I hope for < 0.5 BTC for a S3. My 5 S1 are far away from ROI.

I'm hoping to just Upgrade my 4 S1's TBH.  I might wait a few months until my S1's are useless.

Hum.. goodish news it seems.  I am Canadian so this effects me.
4069  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Single Bitcoin will Worth $100K - Do You Believe it? on: June 23, 2014, 02:14:20 PM
I think due to the fact that so many people here have so much complete blind faith that it will reach extremely high levels, that it will never happen. It's too easy, too expected. If something is too good to be true then it probably is.

That...actually makes the most sense. Let's hope you're dead wrong lol.

Gold only has value because people are as crazy for it as we are for BTC...

I'll let you guys figure out what I am getting at.

Quote
People take their religion very seriously but seldom are capable of following the rules and regulations of the belief.
Religion isn't for the perfect. It is for the imperfect, like me for instance.

Quote
Most man made religions are profoundly silly such as Christianity and Islam.
Says someone who believes the entire universe just happened out of essentially nothing and for no particular reason. Okay.

Quote
Religion and intellect are not and will never be compatible.
Many of the greatest minds of history were people of faith and they didn't seem to find any incompatibility between their accomplishments and their beliefs.

Quote
Much of religion is based on fear.
I disagree. I believe most religion is a natural attempt to understand the complexity of the universe and to form the basis for a moral, just, and kind society. Understanding that there is a power greater than oneself and knowing that spiritual power can be engaged with doesn't result in or come from fear.

What a bleak existence it must be to feel that life has no meaning beyond its superficial and temporary earthly manifestation.

In a time where people would lose their heads for saying god wasn't really do you really believe the smartest people on the planet believed what came out of their mouths?
4071  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Child rape victim: Hillary lied about me to defend my rapist on: June 23, 2014, 02:00:41 PM
In order to get into power you have have zero regards for people.

This is the kind of system we have designed.....  Of coarse only super sick puppies are going to be in power.
4072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The war on drugs killed my daughter on: June 23, 2014, 01:57:50 PM
The War on Drugs (and not just in the US, although that is the worst-case example) is a giant joke of the dying beliefs of a conservative society. It is going to end soon, but the thing that upsets me the most is that nobody will go to jail - particularly the private prison industry that makes millions if not billions off this joke of a policy. Just like Chenney, the biggest criminal in the US government is still living lavishly after his role in Iraq.

This...  our gen is getting into power... the ...I can not form enough words of hate.. that has ruled our countries for years... many many years did not have control of the INFO on the web.. we learned what is really going on..  Soon there will be freedom for the people.

All of these "wars on" are a BS to get certian people money or power.

We will not forget.
We will not forgive.
We know what you did.

4076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: split in bitcoin on: June 23, 2014, 01:43:41 PM
Is it possible in future bitcoin splits in multiple groups of nodes/blockchains and every group claims as the original one like we see in religions and their sects.

christianity: bitcoin
budism: litecoin
athiests: FIAT

Can you prove there is or is not a god?

Agonism FTW.
4077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thoughts on religion for a Sunday morning on: June 23, 2014, 01:38:23 PM
One of the best forums of control over the masses.

Loot at how easily you can convince people to go and slaughter in the name of some BS.

4079  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC on: June 23, 2014, 01:03:43 PM
Do you have nodes connecting to your client? Is your blockchain fully synced? Try searching on blockr.io

I've already re-sent the BTC and re-downloaded the blockchain.

It was synced with conections, I have a feeling it might of been because I closed the client before any confirms.
