4061  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: New Fake Ledger Website on: November 25, 2020, 05:36:08 PM
Very confusing phishing attempt. Even I was confused before taking a deep look at the domain list. Yes, most probably scammers want to take advantage of Black Friday's offer. We need to be more careful when receiving mail with a few offers like black Friday. Usually, I do not click on any link if fund mail from suspicious sources. If I see that email is quite important, then I read the email address carefully and match it with the original sources. That's how I think we can reduce phishing attempts and save our money.
4062  Other / Meta / Re: The Avatar would have to be optional in signature campaigns? on: November 25, 2020, 05:28:21 PM
The forum gives you the freedom to wear your avatar as you want. The forum can't fix which avatar will you wear? The problem is most companies have been asking for an avatar since they are aware of it. So even managers don't like to add it they have to do it as per company requirements. Some companies haven't been asking for an avatar like Chipmixer. So, if you do not like to wear company avatars then you have to seek for those campaign doesn't require for it. I don't think the admin can give you a solution. If the admin limit changes the avatar, then there will be problems if someone wants to update their avatars a second time.
4063  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ledger wallet paid campaign in bitcointalk forum? on: November 25, 2020, 02:44:23 PM
As far as I know, they aren't running any paid campaign on the forum. I have remembered, at the beginning of this year I contact with Ledger team, and we had a conference call. Ee talked about the promotion on Bitcoin like banner ads and Signature campaign. Although they were interested to run promotions here and they continue communications for a few days but they disappear eventually. I realize they have already become popular, and they use Google advertisements sometimes. Comparing with other advertising platforms, forum advertising is quite costly. Most likely they exclude forums from promotional space. I can't recall but noticed someone wearing Ledger Signature. Most likely they are promoting affiliate links or somehow affiliated with the Ledger wallet.

Thanks for reminding us a few words about the scam. Scammers always finding a new technic and opportunities how they can cheat us. So, as always, we have to be more careful when we are going to dealing with money. Remember, our greedy behavior is responsible for most of the scams. So if you see a massive offer for you, then you have to be careful. Just need to use your common sense to save our valuable assets.

4067  Other / Meta / Re: 2 users. One spams with topics, one spams with burst posts. Could they be nuked on: November 24, 2020, 03:25:34 AM
I don't think moderators will nuke them. Just use report to moderator button and write a appropriate comment. It doesn't necessary to create a thread on meta. Hope moderators will handle your report. If moderators fund repeating same thing from a same user, then they could issue or nuked account if they think.
4068  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]BambooDefi plagiarised whitepaper + hiring sock puppet accounts on: November 23, 2020, 05:22:07 PM
I am not convinced with the explanation from the team. So, I decided to do not to run their signature campaign. Escrow funds have been returned to the team. My bad, I failed to detect that issue before launching the campaign. Hope I would avoid such issues in the future.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
4069  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SOLVED!] MyCryptoMixer.com didn't scam $7000 - please Oppose Flag on: November 23, 2020, 04:21:42 PM
Thanks, Loycev for letting us know. As I told before, most likely its was a technical issue and they could fix it, so it has been done. I have withdrawn my flag support and opposed it. Removed feedback from MycryptoMixer's profile. Good to see that they are friendly enough to solve the problems.

Thanks to MycryptoMixer to solved this issue.
4070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: November 23, 2020, 03:15:07 PM
What differences did you notice?
Everything should be a difference. The previous bull run happened in 2017, and it's 2020 now. So everything already changed. The reason for both bull runs would different like we are seeing many adoptions on Bitcoin this year. Community growing day by day and expanding bitcoin uses. The main difference in my opinion that the community expands a lot. Many peoples realizing the fact of Bitcoin and entering on it. Most probably, that's the reason why we are in bull run currently.
4071  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]BambooDefi plagiarised whitepaper + hiring sock puppet accounts on: November 23, 2020, 09:43:54 AM
Interesting to see that they are running signature campaign and Coolcryptovator is managing that. I am really surprised how did he start their campaign without proper research.Huh...
Honestly, I hadn't deep research on the whitepaper. There are a few reasons why I hadn't take a deep look here. The website still under construction, and I had asked someone to check plagiarism due to lack of my time and internet connectivity issue. But I am admitting, I can't ignore my responsibility this way, and apologize for that. Perhaps that person I assigned missed detecting copy-paste content.

Regarding the plagiarism, I have asked the team to respond to this thread. The person from the team who have contact with me, he is traveling somewhere by flight and given me some selfie as evidence. He will reply to this thread when he will arrive at his destination. Let's wait for his explanation.

Regarding the team, I wouldn't mind if the team is anonymous in cryptocurrency. But the fake team always an immediate red flag for me. But there is a team behind Bamboo DeFi, you will find it on Nexxyo Labs. Because this project is operated by Nexxyo Labs.

Regarding shilling accounts, they have admitted that one of their friend doing such things and they will ask to stop it.  I think that person is familiar with the forum.

I mark to hold the Signature campaign. Let's see their explanation. There would be some reason since their website is still under construction.

I am holding the funds for their campaign (above 0.4BTC) that is enough to run the campaign for 4 weeks. But I will stop the campaign if their explanation isn't reasonable to the community. If I failed to decide myself, then definitely, I will ask for the help of the community.

4075  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for withdrawal method from Binance with forbidden withdraw on: November 22, 2020, 05:44:30 PM
We are unable to help you unless you share more detail with us. I haven't heard such an issue on the Binance. What was the reason to block your account? Your account should block unless you do something wrong. They are well-reputed exchange between centralized exchanges. If they ask for KYC then you have to do it. Try to convince them via support, only they can help you.

Warning: If you really facing that issue, then don't deal with anybody via telegram. There are so many scammers and most likely they will steal your funds. Just take reasonable advice from this thread or deal only with high trusted users.
4076  Economy / Reputation / Re: Misuse of feedback system on: November 22, 2020, 05:19:36 PM
Doing a bounty campaign isn't against forum rules. It seems user sujit1992 has been posting on the bounty section only. If he/she isn't spamming on the other section then let him spam on the bounty section. Reporting bounty report to moderators wouldn't help. Leaving feedback for the bounty report is inappropriate IMO. Doesn't matter you don't like bounty hunters, but should handle forum policy with the trust system. Admin is discouraging to leave such feedback.

OP, please ask the victim to create a reputation thread. So SPQRCoin would take a look at it and read other's opinions. Most likely leaving neutral feedback for such a poster would be enough but I will not encourage to do that as well. Still, I believe spam shouldn't handle with the trust system.
4077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help on: November 22, 2020, 04:35:29 PM
Due to lack of information, you wouldn't get a proper solution from here. I am not familiar with any exchange that restricts withdrawal for IP. Had you whitelisted your IP on any exchange? Not sure if there are such exchanges to enable IP whitelist. If you have real problems, then please share more information. Also, please share how you got the funds?

Guys, as you mention above about the scam technic which I agree with. So be careful with OP. Based on OP post history, I don't think OP is in real trouble.
4078  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Accusation] MyCryptoMixer.com scammed $7000 on: November 21, 2020, 05:04:59 PM
To be honest, I can't believe they will scam for $7000 only. As @artsidim said, still I believe they had a few technical issues. I am expecting the victim will get back his funds. Support flag and left negative feedback for temp warning. If they solve the issue then I will revise everything. Otherwise, it will remain on MyCryptoMixer's profile. Just notify me if in case I miss something.
4079  Economy / Reputation / Re: SamboNZ --purchased or hacked account on: November 21, 2020, 04:46:27 PM
Yes, according to post history and self-statements it's pretty sure that account has compromised. Either it has sold or hacked, but change hands. Left negative feedback and let's see what excuse he provide.

Alt connected and using the same ETH address.
Are they connected in some other way? I mean had they abused any campaign directly? I think neutral feedback for other accounts would appropriate unless they abuse any campaign.
4080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 21, 2020, 04:26:54 PM
I am not sure if this is the right section for this thread. The question is why projects invest to create a meme if they don't have ROI? Either they have a good ROI or they want to brand their platform. Branding is quite important for a platform, so I believe meme would help with it. For example, somewhere you see a meme for a project, then you might take a deep look at what is that, and eventually, you might be interested in investments.
