4061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 21, 2021, 07:53:42 PM
What a game! From West Ham scoring twice in 2 minutes , then making 3-0 in 1st half to scoring two own goals and then take another one and end the game as a draw. Crazy result with crazy goals and I don't know as this game seemed to be unreal at some point.

In between, Arsenal need to sign Martin Ødegaard,  he was amazing and an absolutely class in today's clash, you can see the hunger for the ball. Truth is, there is enough room for him to get better, he plays like ozil in his top form.

Secondly

I like Kelechi Iheanacho's current playing form, i think there is a really bright future ahead for him. What do you think?

4064  Other / Politics & Society / Re: INTERNET SCAM >> THE ADVERSE EFFECTS on: March 20, 2021, 07:02:58 AM
Basically  internet fraud has been on the hike(increase) or rise in recent times, several scam cases here and there both locally and international.
Youths of this generation has  made fraud look  cool, and legalized without considering the circumstances involved and penalty if been caught in the process.
Most adolescents have been lured into scamming people for their hard earned money, most of them are even supported by the parents this days to join their friends and colleagues to learn the illicit act of scamming   people.
Nowadays youths have made  scamming   look like a good hustle, and if you are not indulging yourself into it.. you are been made look like an outcast. So many are trooping in joining the new so-called trend of the today society..
In most African countries like Nigeria it's been called YAHOO YAHOO, those into it are called "YAHOO BoYS" this has made young people of today shun white collar jobs.
My advice to the youths of today, is don't let anyone  make you feel people ain't making it genuinely, the law of karma stands till tomorrow, karma has y'all addresses.
#saynotointernetfraud

First things first, Internet scams and other fraudulent activities are not only carried out by youths. By standard, a youth is someone between the age of 15-24, we have almost half the bulk of internet fraudsters and scammers above the youth age range. Secondly, it is not just enough to say no to internet fraud, we should say no as well to all kinds of fraud, online & offline!
4065  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Takes one to know one': Putin mocks Biden over 'killer' remark on: March 20, 2021, 06:54:58 AM
Let us not deceive ourselves, it is quite difficult to be in power and not get your hands dirty in one way or the other, Russia and the United States have always been in a battle to flex supremacy and i am not surprised.
4066  Other / Politics & Society / Lockdown Policy, can it be viewed as an infringement on our Human rights? on: March 20, 2021, 06:45:57 AM
Your opinions are very much needed as always;

(a) Would you consider the government's Lockdown policy and strong restrictions on people’s movements an infringement on human rights?

(b) Do you think that the punishment metted out to those who have grown tired of the lockdown and defaulted in some way is fair, especially when the lockdown rules and policies as well as the punishment for defaulters were not properly discussed in parliament?

Excited to see the draw for the 1/4 finals tomorrow. Big teams remain, I wonder who will play who.

PSG
Man City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Dortmund
Porto
Bayern
Real

A Chelsea versus Real match will be phenomenal, I will like to see chelsea maintain their current form against Real Madrid, Liverpool will go against PSG, Man city against Dortmund and Porto against Bayern.
4069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 18, 2021, 10:50:17 PM
A friend of mine once said that any money you use in buying a coin should no longer be considered as money you have. lol, because it is a gamble, and it is best you prepare yourself with that mindset, so that even if you loose some money along the way, you won't consider the loss so much.
4070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 18, 2021, 10:33:28 PM
Just because a guy said he is bored with crypto doesn't mean the rest of the world said so.

I really did not say bored, i clearly stated that those who do not have a huge sum ( like the companies that are investing right now) are looking to other altcoins that they could still make something out of. Also Imagine having a small amount of btc only to have a fraction swallowed up in transaction fee. These are some of the discouragements that have faced some people i know that have moved to investing in other altcoins.
4071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying 1 BTC is ‘like owning 60 cars? on: March 18, 2021, 09:56:11 PM
I find the subject of this topic very confusing, reasons being that i don't consider buying btc ( something that can be considered an asset that is,has the potential to appreciate with time) to be like owning 60 cars (something that can be considered a liability, because it's value depreciates with time). The comparison to me simply is not befitting.
4072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 18, 2021, 09:29:44 PM
A lot of people already feel left out, Almost like they have missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin, many are looking to invest in other alt coins. I had a conversation with a friend today about Bitcoin, investment and its very high transaction fees, he expressed his displeasure saying that like him, many others that he knew are no longer considering btc to invest in, rather, they are looking to invest in other crypto's.
Do you think it is too late for someone to invest in btc? Especially when it is not a huge sum?
4073  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why do people forget their passwords? on: March 18, 2021, 11:29:47 AM

I'll make a list, not only for passwords, instead for losing access to various means of storing the coins.

I am usually afraid of making a list with my Various login details because i am scared that someone will somehow run into the list and have a hard access to all my accounts and informations.
4074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk!! A name behind another scam on: March 18, 2021, 10:10:39 AM
It is very sad to read each time that another has fallen victim to another internet fraud. But come to think of it, why do people keep falling for schemes like this? There is really no easy way to make money and people around us should be made to understand.
4075  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid Vaccine and animal testing on: March 18, 2021, 07:13:26 AM
In the society, there is an order of things, there are predators and there are the preys. It is good for us all to be reminded that we are all animals, yes! it is just that we humans are higher animals and the most advanced predators. From this deduction, you can point out that as far as we are at the top of the food chain, humans will continue to prey on the less for food or research. Not like i am in full support of the killing of lower animals, but that laboratory practice is for the advancement of humanity.

4077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading your strategy on DEMO is a waste of time on: March 17, 2021, 10:16:51 PM
I personally started trading with real cash, i value the real life experience it gave me because i paid for the lessons with my hard earned cash. It is not a must that everyone must start trading with a demo account, or start trading with real cash, whichever works best for you is fine.
4078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: March 17, 2021, 10:04:01 PM

Beside all that I think there will be one more big news from Cardano. We can see the price really go high pretty soon. They have some Africa deal that is coming and the CEO of Cardano is speaking on some conference about Africa tomorrow. Things can go parabolic pretty soon.

Yes the growth for Cardano in the past four hours has been massive, by tomorrow really, the increment will be ballistic. Best advice, catch the surge, buy ADA now!

It is over for Athletico madrid, this second goal has confirmed it!... There is a lot of jubilation in my neighborhood, a lot of Chelsea fans.
4080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2021, 09:34:35 PM
This Athletico Madrid team has to really do better to against this Chelsea team if they really want to win, they are defending so well.
