4061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How bad is other altcoin value on: September 11, 2019, 11:19:43 PM
Critically observing the rate at which bitcoin value is low at this time, I now imagined how low other altcoin will be by now, even with bitcoins superiority. What is your view?
I think this will be over soon. When the value of the alts reaches a very low level in the near future, when bitcoin dominance reaches 71% - 73%, then the market will reverse. because when there are too many transactions in Bitcoin but the price still cannot push, traders will lose faith and start selling Bitcoin to buy and hold altcoins.
That is the general sentiment and that will happen soon. The market will balance again.
Will, it means that we are turning back into $10 each BTC? That makes impossible.

The increase of bitcoin transaction it doesn't give worries, it simply means that we increase the number of users which could help so hold bitcoin price at high as the demand is too high also. And looking a positive effect towards altcoins, will it also give help for not leaving behind the wall.

Bitcoin won't fall at that range again, some people maybe hoping for that to dump that low to have an opportunity to buy, but I tell them, it's not an opportunity, they are likely buying a dead coin at that time.

Imagine BTC at $10,000 will fall at $10, no one would see that attractive, even the newbie in the market.
BTC has recovered and will continue to recover, it's been popular already although not so popular yet but the that path we are going now is very impressive, we were able to get the attention of the authorities and sooner we will see a standard regulation of crypto which could help achieve a massive adoption.
4062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Bear Market coming soon? on: September 11, 2019, 10:55:43 PM
Bullrun is not seen until now, and might be seen when we are at the end of the year
and for now market still trying to stable the condition and another altcoin still adjust their price with bitcoin price.
and i don't think another bear are coming again in market, because now we enter in Q4 2019
I don't believe that there will be another bear market that is coming because in general, it looks like the market is still in bear market since only bitcoin is growing consistently. Thus far, what we are witnessing with the altcoins market is that it does not have the power to pump, when they do, they can't sustain it because they are affected by the movement of the BTC which has already own 70% of the dominant rate.

However, let us not loss our faith because there are still plenty of time, if the last time we were able to witness a big rally in the 4th quarter, I think it's still possible this year.
4063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: September 11, 2019, 12:23:03 PM
I like Libra coin idea. You probably do not understand that it will help cryptocurrency adoption. Facebook will offer Libra and other cryptocurrencies to almost 2 billion people! That is 200 times more users that we currently have.
I'm with you, I'm pro Libra and I hope they will be able to launch the project free from regulatory problem, of course they need to comply the requirements and I hope the requirements is not hard enough for them to comply.

They were criticized by the corrupt government because they understand how big the coverage of facebook and it can disrupt the financial industry.
What would happen to banks, remittances when we can easily send money through facebook, that's the threat they are seeing.
4064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 11, 2019, 12:05:01 PM
In my opinion, there are still good projects, but they got lost in a pile of garbage. I also see such a problem as a loss of investor confidence. I think that everything can still change, but this requires a real revolution in cryptocurrencies.
We must wait and continue to explore every new project in circulation. Rest assured, Of many new projects in circulation there must be one good project. It's just that until now, we haven't found a project that really has good potential.
That requires patience if you are here to  work for bounty, no risk on your part but you have to spend an effort for that, it's good only if you have a main job that will help you earn to finance your daily expenses.

If you are an investors, just don't invest in new project, instead focus on accumulating high potential coins like top 10 in the market, and hold it until this market will explode again, I'm sure altcoins rally will come soon, we just need to be patient.
4065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins bleeding on: September 11, 2019, 11:23:06 AM
They maybe bleeding but they aren't dead yet, there are still a lot of altcoisn that has a potential to rise again, I believe on that as I am still holding an altcoins in my MEW wallet. I don't want to negatively judge the current market situation because based on my experience here, I'm confident that this drought of altcoins will soon be over.

Altcoins bleeding is not something to fear for me, but it's something to celebrate because this could provide a buying opportunity for us.
Believe me, this will be over soon as new surprises are about to come, #HODL.
4066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: September 11, 2019, 09:52:37 AM
Adoption is growing, and crypto is gaining ever greater prominence in the media. Also increasing focus from governments and legislative bodies. The trend in trading volumes is also upwards.
But whilst adoption is growing, we are a long way from true mass adoption, which would be full integration of crypto into everyday life. A lot of use cases - smart contracts a big example - haven't really even begun to touch their potential yet. So real mass adoption is I think coming, but still a long way off
I completely agree with that, anyone who sees what's happening without than the price volatility would see the real status of adoption in the market.
We will feel that the big adoption is already here if we can easily spend our crypto currencies like we are spending fiat for our daily needs.

For now, crypto particularly bitcoin is not yet widely use for daily needs, it's more widely use for online transactions such as gambling, buying things online, and the likes, but for business like restaurant, electric provider and communication, it's not widely accepted yet. I would be happy if I can pay my utility bills through bitcoin but until now I haven't experience it, I still need to convert my btc to fiat to be able to pay all my bills.
4067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use crypto? on: September 11, 2019, 08:45:23 AM
To be honest, at the moment I use the crypt only as an opportunity for additional earnings, trading various coins on the exchanges, I'm interested and like it.You could call it a hobby.Still keep some coins, in the hope, that the price on them will rise in the future.
Just like most of the people here, they are using crypto for trading because they wanted to grow their holdings.

Me, I work online to increase my earning in crypto and I always plan to consider my earning as my investment for the future, also at the same time when I have some extra, I also use that money for gambling, not only that I do earn, I also need to spend just to have fun while spending an effort to earn online.

I can say that there are a lot of opportunity online that you don't need to risk your money to own BTC or altcoins, you just have to work for it.
4068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 10, 2019, 11:54:51 PM
If I would have to bet against the public every time, I would have do the strategy.

However, knowing where the public money is going is a hard job so even though we thought we are betting against the public, sometimes we could be wrong as sometimes sharp money is on the other side why the line has move.

Only experience sports bettors would understand that, capping based on the line or the stats is not effective anymore based on my experience, what I notice is more effective is the psychological betting where you think like a bookies because they are right most of the time.
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 10, 2019, 11:29:09 PM
~snip~

In any sports there are always a questionable calls, but it's their job so let's trust them to do their job, besides those if there are  lot of complaints, it will be reviewed by the committee and this will affect the future of the refs with lots of questionable  calls in the game.

We know this is a big stage as each country are competing to win, therefore it's expected that they will complain if they don't feel the call is fair.
Also, I think there are corrupt refs here as we know how big the money is involve in online betting, other sports are rigged, I don't like to put exemption to this event.
About the corrupt referees, it didn't think about it as FIBA won't allow someone that's committed with other activities that can affect their referees decision. I think there's certain screening for each of them and they are aware of online gambling.

Anyway, the committee has already decided and they have given certain punishment already so let's move on.  Wink
Even if they will do a good screening technique, yo cannot assure that the refs are fully honest, human by nature are greedy, when they see some opportunity to make money and improve their living, they will somehow be tempted even making such action even if its illegal.

The catch here is they can do wrong calls but they can still justify it, if they will not get caught, they will continue to make money.
Not even the refs actually if we will go further in rigging sports, players can also bet on themselves and against themselves and win big money in sports betting, that is hard to see and therefore cannot be controlled, as long as their online gambling, we can't expect a clean officiating.
4070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 10, 2019, 11:15:39 PM
Bitcoin provides a unique opportunity for a person to own it without the use of centralized platforms like banking systems and at any time at its discretion can easily send them anywhere in the world
We still need bank when buying BTC because we can't acquire it by directly putting our money in trading platform, usual procedure is we transfer money to exchange and we buy BTC. Well, if you just earn BTC, that would be good for you as you don't need bank in this matter, provided also that there are already a lot of business establishment that will accept bitcoin, if not, we have to choice to cash out our btc to fiat and with that procedure we then need the involvement of bank.

To make it short, as long as we need fiat to spend, bank will always remain, bitcoin killing bank, that's not happening for now.
4071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: September 10, 2019, 10:38:52 PM
what have they been doing all this time? exscudo isn't found in cmc, don't want to add to other markets? The CEO of Exscudo never appeared to talk to investors? I hope they all go to prison
Pretty bad, they created an account in the forum but they don't bother to use it anymore, what will people expect here? of course they will think that they are already doing an exit scam. Lots of criticism they will read here because people aren't satisfied with what they are doing.

You are right, it's not even found in CMC while other projects which are new already manage to get their project in CMC.
Like https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/beaxy/ while launch their own exchange, although their volume is still low, they were able to find a way to get listed and now people are appreciating the effort.
4072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the Bitcoin Price If..... on: September 10, 2019, 12:53:17 PM
Exchange is vital for success in crypto, and the reason why exchanges you've mentioned are successful is because of the demand of bitcoin .
If you look at the list of exchanges in https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/, you will see there are hundreds of exchanges existing, and they are competing with that volume, if Binance, polo or Kraken are not here, it's gonna be other exchange that will be popular but the demand of bitcoin will still remain the same and it's progress is unstoppable.
4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 10, 2019, 12:35:06 PM
ARG vs SRB has been great so far. ARG so far doing really well but SRB now playing some better defense. This is gonna be a hot last quarter!
Yeah, I'm currently watching the live streaming now, Argentina won the first half but Serbia had a good 3rd quarter and I hope they'll be able to continue that in the 4th quarter and win this game. If Serbia will loss in this game, it's one of the major upsets in FIBA and I don't think Argentina will be able to handle the USA in the semi finals match.

let me continue watching... LOL... Grin Grin Grin
4074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: September 10, 2019, 08:11:46 AM
it is good to be optimistic but i don't think anyone's fear should cause a dump in bitcoin value, instead, it is the dump that induces fear in people's heart, a lot of people lose their faith per time when the market value drops  even most speculations are just failing. the panic has made a lot of people sell their token poorly.
That's the kind of problem they have to overcome because the market itself is not as problematic as they think.
As an investor, we have to look on both sides, not one sided only, when there is a dump, its normal because the market also experience a pump.

The dump will likely cause panic to those who does not understand how the market move, and they are losers, so that's normal since some has to lose while some has to be profitable, if they will learn maybe they will experience being profitable in the long run.  Trading is good but it's clearly not for everyone as not everyone has the knowledge to make the right decision.
4075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: September 10, 2019, 07:45:25 AM
There is nothing to be done, because every person wants to get a profit from his investments faster and many people have already invested in a cryptocurrency a year and a half ago and are waiting for the day when growth begins, but growth has not been heard and is not visible, of course, after such a period many people are very worried and do not know what to do, so many investors simply withdrawn their investments and left the cryptocurrency sphere, while other investors are still waiting and hoping.
That's a wrong mentality of we think of quick profit, if that will come then good but if not, we should have the patience to wait.
Crypto is not a ponzi scheme which promise big return in short term, it's a real investment and the coins that we are investing here especially the popular ones has a great future, but we just don't know the exact time they will blossom

We hold because we look for the right timing to sell, without that patience, we don't deserve to earn a great reward here.
In addition, when we panic, we will never achieve what we desire as the market is very volatile, a big dump may look like the market is sinking, but its just normal to the market, and people who are here longer are matured enough to understand that.
4076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: September 09, 2019, 11:59:01 PM
Eth will still moon regardless of success in IEO or not.
The whole cryptocurrency market is down and if you study the coinmarketcap closely you will notice that ethereum price always goes up when the market is going up.
As regards IEOs i will only advice that you do IEO after making extensive research and only go for IEOs on reputable exchanges as a lot of scam exchange are also doing IEO already
They will all moon when there is a bull market, just like last bull market, ETH moon because ICO is very popular but there are a lot of altcoins as well that also follow the flow, and there are some shitcoins as well which pump, dump and then died at that time.

Therefore, we cannot underestimate ETH's capacity here because it still has a lot of supporter, and being in the number 2 would explain it already how big its support base. When altcoins season starts, I am expecting ETH to be one of the leaders to have its big increase in the market.
4077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 09, 2019, 11:42:52 PM
Government has no control on BTC, looks like it's impossible, if that will happen, we will see bitcoin declared as illegal and it will be ban in many countries. The word government itself means to govern people, and there is no exception with bitcoin as it could be decentralized but people who are using it needs to adopt with the rules and regulation created by the government in a decentralized manner.

Thing is, bitcoin will not grow without the government intervention, that is by regulating the market because in the mentality of the people is that, they only trust what is approved by the government and approval means regulating it.
4078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 09, 2019, 11:30:39 PM
It's almost like FIBA was looking to save a couple bucks by hiring sub par refs.

No, those aren't substandard. Those refs involved in the issue of wrong officiating are already in FIBA officiating for almost a decade. FIBA is a world-class event and all countries involved are aware of the activities including who will be the set of referees. These referees are in a top-level and came from different countries. However, some of them really did some wrong calls that affect the output of the match. Don't know why some calls became shitty.

And as punishment, as what FIBA did already, the refs who are in question in the officiating between France and Lithuania are now suspended. Hope they will not ruin the game in the upcoming Final Phase of the tournament.

That's right, the refs are top level that's why they are officiating the games in FIBAWC. We see some errors on their calls but men, they are also human and is bound for error. They are not perfect and overall their call are satisfying for me.
Sometimes their calls really were questionable and this is a known league and to know their sympathy they have already given the right punishment for those referees. That will serve as a warning to other referees to make right calls.

Yes, they are not perfect and they commit wrong calls but that's it. FIBA itself already made the decision and respecting it would be our priority and let's go on and move forward.

In any sports there are always a questionable calls, but it's their job so let's trust them to do their job, besides those if there are  lot of complaints, it will be reviewed by the committee and this will affect the future of the refs with lots of questionable  calls in the game.

Also, I think there are corrupt refs here as we know how big the money is involve in online betting, other sports are rigged, I don't like to put exemption to this event.
4079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 09, 2019, 11:55:56 AM
No one can see the future but we have to live on what we believe, as for me, I believe Altcoins will come back and will give us a good time to enjoy again.
It has been over a year already that altcoins still looked like no chance of recovering, in fact, if we look at the dominant rate of the entire altcoins, it's dropping because people are investing in BTC.

That's 70/30 division now of dominant rate, and this explains how strong bitcoin is to beat more than a thousand of coins in the market.
4080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 09, 2019, 11:41:54 AM
Not yet, many country have adopt bitcoin ad payment transaction and company want to join with bitcoin ad purchase payment. Have great future of bitcoin.
There are countries that ban bitcoin and there are also countries that accepts bitcoin, the good thing is that there are more countries who are accepting bitcoin compared to countries who ban it.

We can see some list here https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/041515/countries-where-bitcoin-legal-illegal.asp.

I believe those countries who have not regulate bitcoin yet will turn positive in the future, because bitcoin and crypto as a whole is unstoppable when major adoption is taking place and it's the right of the people to use what they believe is helpful or an improvement and the government has to regulate it.
