I am really surprised that Serbia lost the second game in this championship in the short run and that after a very convincing start, they now lost all chances of winning a medal and playing a grand final with America.
There were even expectations that they were the only ones who could surprise America and beat them.

This year FIBA tournament is full of surprises because sometimes the team ones least expected turn out to be the winner of the game but I'm sure today's quarter-final is a loss for the Argentine.

You can't be sure, Serbia is still one of the best tea in the FIBA per ranking but they loss one game already, so this means they aren't unbeatable.
This is a quarter finals where we will see a more intense game and I don't think the Argentine will just give up easily here already Serbians are have one of the best players in the NBA.

We have to remember, Giannis and his team failed to qualify to this round and they were one of the favorites to win this competition, so we never know what would really happen, let's just put our bet here.

The Serbians do have one of the best players in the NBA but I don't say they are uneaten or the best team. I only predicted them to win today's game which they loose to the Argentine.

It heartbreaking cause I expected them to win the game against the Argentine but the Argentine prove they are experienced despite the fact that they don't have any player in the NBA and I really respect how Campazzo played today.

There are just too much hype on the Serbia team. Some said they can take on the championship in this tournament but they failed. The two best team that people think could beat USA is now out in the competition, the way Serbia played in the quarter finals shows their lack of quality, LOL.. Now the Philippines can take a revenge because Serbia coach critcize the Philippine team saying the team lacks quality while the Philippines were able to compete with Argentina during the 2014 FIba world cup.

Even if they will do a good screening technique, yo cannot assure that the refs are fully honest, human by nature are greedy, when they see some opportunity to make money and improve their living, they will somehow be tempted even making such action even if its illegal.

The catch here is they can do wrong calls but they can still justify it, if they will not get caught, they will continue to make money.
Not even the refs actually if we will go further in rigging sports, players can also bet on themselves and against themselves and win big money in sports betting, that is hard to see and therefore cannot be controlled, as long as their online gambling, we can't expect a clean officiating.

Australia is seriously underrated. I think a lot of people are discounting them from contention and mentioning other names like Serbia, which is fair, but honestly they have as good of a chance as anyone to win gold.

Team chemistry is a serious issue that a lot of teams sorely lack, while this Australian team has been around for a decade without much of a change. You see that through Bogut's mid post game as well as aggressive cutting from all of their guards, and it's quite evident to me that they just like playing with each other.

Either way, FIBA had turned out to be a much better experience than I would have expected for sure.  Turns out team USA withdrawals have made all the positive difference.

After all the upsets that we had, I won't be really surprised if the United States crashes out of the tournament after losing to France today in the quarter-finals. What makes them any different from Serbia and Greece? The other match is going to be really one sided, and I have a feeling that Australia is going to mop the floor with Czech Republic.

Even if the US makes it to the semis, they are very likely to face a strong opponent in Argentina. If Argentina can kick out Serbia, why can't they do the same to the United States? Spain will be facing a tough challenge from Australia, and it is the same team that beat the United States during a preparatory match before the world cup.

Even the coach of Serbia is very confident that they will win in this tournament but they receive an upset from the Argentinians . Argentinia can upset the USA too with how they play. Scola knows how these NBA players play since he played too in NBA and along with other players, I think they can upset the USA. Now the hype is on the Argentinians since they defeated Serbia .

To be honest, there is a slight chance that Argentinia and Spain/Australia will play in the Finals .

If Argentina can kick out Serbia, why can't they do the same to the United States? 

Team Argentina definitely had a confidence boost after knocking out on of the favorites and previously undefeated Serbia but this will all boil down to style of play and coaching strategies if the two will meet in the semis. There are instances when teams played great in their previous game and then completely sucks in the next.

Nah, for sure it's okay for them to face a strong team simply because they are the strongest lol. Kidding aside, I believe everything could happen. You have a point, Argentina was able to beat a high quality team like Serbia so this means that it is not impossible for them to beat the Top 1 as well. Just make sure Campazzo will able to maintain his Zone tho (Kuroko no Basket reference).

So you don't trust USA here to cover? just don't follow your favorite team, sometimes you have to beat against your favorite if yo feel that's the right thing to do. We all love USA here because they are the best team in this tournament but as a gambler, we have to decide if they can cover the spread of -8.5.

Given the way both teams are made up and the way they're playing, +8.5 on france seems to be a good wager. Team usa has seen weakness and if i get a +8.5 on any euro team they go up against, i'd gladly take it on. The us will team will have their hands full. Yeah man, I mean every team has a chance of taking down big names in basketball specially if they are hungrier for the crown. USA right now is the best team out there in FIBAWC but they should not let their guard down because those teams that will qualify for the top four are aiming to be the champion.

Greece is dead, LOL... maybe he wasn't able to follow this competition closely.
Though they won against the Czech Republic, they are still not qualified to be in the quarter finals because they needed a 12-point margin of victory and the game ended up with 84-77 win by Greece which means they didn't win at least 12 points.

Here's my prediction for the games.
I'm going with USA (-10.5), the odds is pretty good, USA can do it, performance of USA for their recent games is very aggressive especially their offense.

Australia vs Czech Republic. I'm going with Australia with -6.5.
Australia's offense is definitely a beast. No more no less.
