What is this bitcoin unlimited anyways? Embarrassed
Is it a new alt coin or just something to scare people away from their btc and buy into those instead?
It seems pretty far fetched if you ask me.

Bitcoin Unlimited is another solution to the problems of bitcoin. Mostly they will take the power of miners because they will remove the confirmations of the miners so we can make the transactions fast and cheap. Well that is what I understand. They are not that bad, but they are also concern about bitcoin, Roger Ver one of the big names when you say bitcoin, supports for Bitcoin Unlimited because they want to make bitcoin a popular digital currency known by many people and also used it as a Coffee money.
4063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canadian Bitcoin Economic Nodes Unite Against Bitcoin Unlimited. on: March 31, 2017, 04:39:05 AM
Well, I think they are really good how it is right now, though we must really fix these slow confirmations and high fees or else we will be heading to a fork. I do support Bitcoin Core, though Bitcoin Unlimited has it's points, though we don't need such fork, why not just join the cores and help them deal the problem about these confirmations and fees before it is too late, they are not helping the problem but they are making it really big.
4064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: March 31, 2017, 04:33:23 AM
the first japan bill containing virtual currencies is expected to come on april which recognizes bitcoin as a method of payment.Although,it doesnot define bitcoin as a legal currency,it is still considered as a remarkable progress for bitcoin in japan.Hope, most of tourists who would go to japan to see 2020 olympics would be able to pay in bitcoins.

It is really a big progress for bitcoin, Japan will be an example for other countries that may try and use bitcoin in their own countries. There are other countries that are really thinking to use these digital currency, but the thing is it has still many problems to deal with, especially these transactions which are really having a high fees and really slow confirms. And these bill about digital currency will be one of the reason why bitcoin will really give bitcoin a good price.
4065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 31, 2017, 04:27:08 AM
Bitcoin is digital currency however there are countries who accept them (eventually my country "PH" have some merchants who accepts them. I hope so in near future all the country will accept this digital currency for change.

I think you just define what is bitcoin though, you did not compare it to the Fiat which the OP is expecting. Bitcoin is a digital currency which is intangible to us users, while fiats are real and tangible to us users which mean you can touch it. Bitcoin is not really accepted by some stores because of it's volatility and they are afraid of not having profit from it. There are still problems about these digital currency and must be formulated a solution before the users inflated and convert their bitcoin to other altcoin.
4066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 30, 2017, 09:12:18 PM
I save bitcoin for the both of them: Saving for future purposes and saving for fun. I save money so I can enjoy myself later, spoiling myself to things that I dont have right now, like PS4 or XBOX. It may also help me pay my bills in the future so I gotta keep it.

Well, the more bitcoin I save, the merrier because I also want to invest, maybe in some gambling sites or business that may came up, who knows right, there are a lot of possibility that may be done using bitcoin.
4067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is decentralised, so who defends it from hackers? on: March 30, 2017, 09:02:30 PM
It is safe from the government, they will not ask for bigger taxes if they will not know you are rich using these digital currencies. If bitcoin is decentralized, the government will be peeking at your wallet and demand for a big tax, which is why we are safe from them. We are also safe from hackers that may hack the banks quickly, the bitcoin network is really hard to hack.
a cpu only makes say 500mhash

an asic makes 1300,000,000mhash

there are over 50,000 asics in just one pool.

thats the equivelent of 130,000,000,000 desktop pc power creating hashes ever ~10 minutes average.

for a hacker to change the direction of bitcoin it needs to not only have atleast a few thousand nodes to counter the rules but then hashpower of more than 130,000,000,000pc's to make blocks that follow the new rules the hacker wants.

if it just had the few thousand nodes. all it would be doing is rejecting blocks it didnt like. meaning it would be just doing nothing more than holding a chain of no blocks locally in the hackers pc's and no one would sync to it because the rejecting real bitcoin rules wont give it any height to affect anyone else

just having hashpower without the nodes.. would too have the legitimate bitcoin nodes reject what a malicious pool was producing.

its a symbiotic relationship. nodes set the rules. pools follow. if either are in dispute rejects occur. neither has ultimate power. its a decentralised consensus mechanism of mutual agreement or mutual destruction.

there is no single point of failure unless we got rid of
the diverse node implementations of atleast 12 'brands' and only had one...
got rid of all the atleast 20 pools and only had one.

and that single node and pool brand was all controlled by one entity.
4068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: March 30, 2017, 08:58:05 PM
Bitcoin is really popular to people because of its price, still many people want to invest their money in this digital currency because many people has successfully gained profit from it. I think Bitcoin progress will increase more and more every year, not every year, maybe every half a year.

As long as there are people who support and use bitcoin, it will be more progressive than ever. Here in our country, there are only a few that use bitcoin though it is now acknowledge by our banks, which is really for me, a big progress because it will help the people to know bitcoin when banks are accepting them.
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 30, 2017, 01:03:24 PM
If I hit a huge jackpot, like lottery or Keno, it would be really good for me. I'm going to spoil myself with material things if ever. But most of all, I would like to help my family with all the problems that can be solved by money or something. Bitcoin has helped me a lot.
I think if I did hit a huge jackpot prize, I will really spoil myself with things too like another gaming PC or a PSP. But first I think I will invest it on a good business matters, or start my own business, maybe a computer related business. Bitcoin also helped me a lot, it did not even dissapoint me and my investment.

I already done one of your wishlist. I remember when i won 2BTC on bitsler, I cash out it immediately and buy my ROG laptop without hesitation, my real plan is just buy mid range laptop and not a gaming laptop but since i won on gambling it is just my profit. I decided to buy precious so that i can treasure it.

Wow, I really envy you there, I also dream having a gaming laptop so I can bring my games everywhere. I think I must bookmark bitsler to my browser, I can make you my model, hahaha 😊

I really think that if I won, I will do the same thing because I really want to give myself a reward from all the hard work.
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: March 30, 2017, 10:46:27 AM
Right, gambling is not a way to make money, have a steady income as some call it. Gambling is only for fun and should only be used for that. If you use gambling to make money, you're doing it wrong, since you will lose money!

You're right there. If you want to nake money through gambling, invest in casinos and gambling sites. That's a lot more safer than gambling itself. You become part of the house that takes advantage of players rather than be part of the players that the house takes advantage of.

Yes, that is a really good psychological stuff right there. Join the gfoup of snakes that feed of your own food rather than saving your food and just be eaten by the snakes. In the world of gambling, business and economics, the weak really must be smart rather than being strong, because the strong in these type of field are being picked while the smart are joined in by other smart people and strong people to hold on to.
4071  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: March 30, 2017, 10:41:07 AM
Definitely skill based gambling is more risky. You have to depend on the game fully which can be manipulated easily anytime. And ultimately you have to lose once or even more times. But in trading the case is whole different. Analyzing the market anyone can make money out of it.

I think I need to disagree with you there, it is not that I dont get your point but in my point it is not correct. I really prefer skill based gambling than trading, you can get profits quickly just using your skills. Trading is a really hard thing to deal with especially on these kind of currency, you need to be always alert and really seeks informations concerning your assets.

Skill based gambling do not really need anything, your skill, your money and your experience, while trading there are a lot of needed stuffs like time and passion.
4072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 10:35:13 AM
That's a good question, because the individual who is not able to control himself should not even start playing it. I'm not a gambler, but if I were to play it would certainly be for fun, and putting just what I can afford to lose. That way it is easier to have self-control.
Yes, that is why I always calculated about risk losing money in gambling before play it,
and not only on trading money management is needed on gambling game too.
It protect us from large amount losing money in gambling and
gambling game is not good way for making money except for fun.

Well it's very essential that we have to have self control when it comes to money matters especially gambling. Losing control and not thinking about the consequences of yiur actions would later cause you or your family a lot of misery. People ruin their lives and their family's livelihood by not thinking about what gambling's effects will be if they lose control

Self control is a must in gambling activities. Every gamblers should learn how to gain it. Failed to do so, will lead us to the very bad condition at the end. Even though most gamblers will have bad result at the end, but with the help of self control we can minimize the chance to go broke very fast.

It is not just a must, it is a very important thing when you are a gambler, especially when you are a big bettor. Having self control can really make our gambling activities not a worst gambling activity, it can help us gain profit, at the same time it can also help reduce our losses. Every gamblers must expect that there will be a time that they will experience losing and not just winning alone.

Self control can make these losing streak reduced to a small percent every gambling activity, avoiding big losses and making big profits.

4074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to gain affiliates? on: March 30, 2017, 10:04:10 AM
I think starting a high quality blog or youtube channel is the best way to get followers who will then click on your affiliate link.

Affiliate marketing is frowned upon everywhere and you can't get away with simply posting your link and hoping people will click on it. You need to offer some qaulity fluff around it.

That is right, you can't just do some clickbaits on youtube so many people will click on it, you can't just post a blog about these because they will read it. So you must do something to attract these people like coating your words. It works on every networking stuffs that is why they are having the most complaints about scams.

You can also do some videos that proves these links. If there are no videos, articles, pictures or even documentation is suffice. You can also pay them.
4075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 30, 2017, 09:58:26 AM
People.are only superstition with gambling because it's the only way they believe they will win when really it's just about pure luck. There is nothing anyone can do to win but it doesn't hurt to try and if you have a special lucky coin or necklace I say wear it !! As long as it makes you feel good. It's not so much about whether it's true or not but more about belief.

I don't really get what you are saying but the thing that you said that gambling is a pure luck, think again. There are instances that gambling may be a pure luck, but there are still instances that gambling is based on how you did it, in other words, your skill. And superstition is only based on their culture beliefs and stuffs which have no scientific explanation, you have a point on what you have said there.

The point of superstitious beliefs is to make their gambling activities really comfortable to them, and they also believe that in this ways, they are actually winning.
4076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 09:44:54 AM
Without analysis going to place bet on anything is like throwing money blindly and simply relaying on the chances. In sports betting specially news and analysis always play basic role and have till some certain level its influence too. I always try my best to take in consideration everything though these don't give guarantee of sure win. It increases my chances winning.

without analysis, you are really making fun of your money and it is just good as giving them to your opponent bettors. The good thing about sports betting is analysis which really heightened your chances of winning. Though there are circumstances that gamblers do not worry about analysis especially when there are strategies like betting on the 2 teams and making bets that may get back their bet ms and some profits according to the odds, it is a really good strategy though, it just work perfectly, sometimes.
4077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: March 30, 2017, 09:39:30 AM
I do not find slot games entertaining.  And I observed that it is harder to win on that game.  Instead of wasiting my time with that slot games, I think I will be wating it on sportsbetting intead.  More entertaining and easier to win if we have lots of knowledge between two team.
Slot games can be played when you get bored or feeling worse on continued failure on events. What I prefer is the sports betting which gives hope of earning depending upon the knowledge we have related to the event in which we are making a bet.

Yeah. I can play slot games also but for a veryimited.time like just a few spins. It gets a whole lot boring the longer you play it and there are a lot of more exciting gambling games to.cboose from that can even give you a better chance of winning

The slot games will give more fun but it is not profitable, but the sports betting will not give fun like slot games, but it is profitable. I too play slot games rarely and few minutes only. This is a waste of time and waste of money. In slot games, profit is depends on your luck so here loses chance is very high.

You are not making any sense, you said that slot games will give you more fun and entertainment which I think is not a waste of time for me, you are enjoying yourself so how can you say that it is a wste of time? And there are lot of ways to play slot games without betting your own money but you can always download a lot of games on android that may enjoy you every time without losing your money.

Still, in case of profit, I prefer sports betting because it is really have a high chance of winning than slot games or dice games.
4078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 09:33:07 AM
There is no way that experience can be helpful in gambling as it is only based on luck, if you are lucky you win and if not then you loose as simple as that and if someone is admitting that he has won with the experience then that is not true for sure.

How can you say that? experience is knowledge from your past activities, it is a guide for your every actions that you do now. So how can you say that experience is not helping gamblers in their gambling activity? I think you are referring to Dice games, and I think you are partly right, but not totally right. With experience you can tell when to stop gambling and still continue when you are winning.

Experience taught a lot of gamblers that is why you cannot say that it is not helping any gamblers.
4079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 02:41:13 AM
Gambling and trading are the same thing, with just one single difference, gambling you put your money at risk and you can win or loose, while at trading you do expose your money at a high risk as well, but you are able to limit your orders and control your winnings as well your loss.

You are right, Gambling and Trading is just one thing, but the thing about trading is that you are risking for an expected gain, while in gambling we just put our money into a risk that we are just relying on our luck but still depends on what game you are gambling.
4080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: March 29, 2017, 11:21:15 PM
basically everybody who have decide to gamble have an expectation to get profit right?

it is just the matter how you treat gambling mostly in your daily life , when you really enjoying the game without have to take a look into how much you have lost / won then you sure haave treat gambling as an entertainment way , no wonder you keep getting back to play no matter what.

I treat it just the way you describe it as well however I do regularly come back. I dont see myself as getting addicted because Im not spending what I shouldnt. People will still come back whenever they feel like playing even when what they are looking for is more of entertainment and not huge profit

I do really view gambling like what you have stated. It is really fun gambling especially when you are making friends, when you are in a winning streak and literaly, you don't care if you lose because the fun is not making profit, but enjoying what you are doing. I play poker which is really great, I play online which is really exciting especially when there are a lot of players with you. I also downloaded an online application on my android, Zynga Poker and been playing for weeks now.

I am addicted to Zynga Poker and I can't stop playing, although I am losing, I do not really care because I am having a blast and I am not betting my own money, so it's cool.
