4061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 02, 2022, 02:50:23 PM
Getafe  1  -  0   Real Madrid

There are only 10 minutes left. So will Getafe win today? Can't say until the end of the match. Because in the past we have seen Real Madrid win with a goal in the last minute. However, their performance in today's match is not good. Vinicius is not in the team. The team today relied on Benzema to score. But Benzema is not playing well. Madrich and kroos are playing well.
Getafe knows what a win means today and am sure they will do whatever it takes to prevent Real Madrid from getting back into the game, this is going to be a late Christmas present for these lads and they deserve it from how well they have absorbed the Madrid pressure ... What a way to start the year! Congratulations to Getafe Smiley
4062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 02, 2022, 01:40:56 PM
Getafe 1 - 0 Real Madrid

what the hell did Éder Militao just do? his mistake made them score a goal and from what I'm seeing today we'll leave with defeat, and that's bad because I'll lose money and as a fan I won't be happy with defeat either.
This is going to be a fun game to watch seeing that Getafe has started the match with a lead which is rare for this fixture and if Real Madrid dont put their heads into the game they could actually lose this match because playing away from home has its own disadvantages. My inplay prediction Getafe 1-1 Real Madrid
4063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin close to becoming totally irrelevant for most "normal" people?? on: January 02, 2022, 11:27:32 AM
Is it just my impression or is interest in Bitcoin going down rapidly? One of the top recent threads is "Btc is boring".
Most of the other threads is mainly about hodlers trying to convince others to buy BTC, kind of reminds me of some random MLM forum rants promising riches and little to no substance.
The thing with cryptos is that they will not please everyone and they will always be prone to public opinions!

I'll give you a few examples. The first example is kind of funny. The people who bought in at below $1000, wants YOU to buy in at $50,000 or even higher for that matter. They talk about all the money they made and now its your turn to make money. Only thing is 50k isn't the same as below 1K.
Nice example but the problem here is its easier for someone to invest 1000 dollars than someone trying to invest 50,000 dollars for one bitcoin which is why we have less hodlers coming from today's investors as they are cashing out fast than what use to happen.

Quote
Another thing is that it's a lot harder for the market to lift 50K than 1K, try to lift 50kg and less than 1kg and see what is easier, the answer probably wont surprise you all that much.
Classic example i like this one Smiley

4064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading strategy would be a good start for new traders? on: January 02, 2022, 11:07:38 AM
I'm in beginner stage at trading . Recently I loose about 80$ . It is a  huge amount for me . But I wanna try again
Now I need some advice for me . I also have some questions about trading.

1.My 1st question is about which trading strategy  is good for a new traders ? I mean short term  or long term.
I would say go with short term trading as you do not want to hold trades for a very long time as compared to long term trading.... But not to write this trading strategy off so soon, this has its advantages if you have a larger capital and saves you the screen time of always looking at charts but it all comes down to preference!

2.  In short-term trading, when to buy and when to sell ?

3.  In short-term trading, do I need to sell the coin  on the day ?
[/b]

I hope these questions answer and advise could help me to know some good things about trading and helping to choose the right trading strategy at this stage  and others like me.

Well its not about guessing the market direction that will make you profits you need to be able to have the technical knowledge of how to read charts before you embark on this journey which is the time consuming part otherwise you buy low and sell high same rules always.
4065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 02, 2022, 09:09:24 AM
Its a good sign to see such threads showing up, which shows that bitcoin keeps making an impact in peoples leaves and this is one of the objectives the creators had in mind to bring out financial freedom to all!
If only we keep spreading the word to help others in getting to know about these digital currencies... then this will be a great service to the forum and to ourselves. Lets keep spreading the word.
4066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 02, 2022, 09:02:56 AM
Nice to see the African Cup of Nations thread and looking at this campaigns tables that Nigerian group aint an easy one because it also has one of my favorite teams Egypt which means all teams in that group have an equal chance but if am going to pick a team based on ease of group it has to be Ivory Coast and they should be the defending champions if memory saves me right.
4067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 02, 2022, 06:46:25 AM
Anything can happen, it's not a given that Inter will lose these matches. Think back to Ajax, who were tearing things up when no one believed in them. The Champions League doesn't loom on the horizon, but I think it's safe to bet that both teams will score. But that's my opinion. Italy's tika-taka can easily beat Liverpool
When look Liverpool lose versus Leicester where is the trading topic, this means Inter can do make them lose also. But, in 2 months, Liverpool surely make a big change for the situation. I'm really sure, Liverpool can make adversity in San Siro (Giuseppe Meazza) as they did in round 16, 2008 win 0-1, at that time inter have Ibrahimovic and Cruz, while Liverpool have Torres where he did a goal and Gerard as Captain.

As much as this might sound easy for one to say football is a game played on the pitch and not some kind of mathematical equation either.
Liverpool are a beatable team of course but to belittle them because Leicester beat them does not make them weak opponents, the champions league is a different ball game altogether and i think these guys are still favorites for this fixture and i see them winning as well.
4068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BNB rise to950? on: January 02, 2022, 06:41:13 AM
Of course it can and very easily because binance has several supporting projects such as the reputable exchange to help it grow, so does the binance smart chain  contribute to its popularity but not at the moment as crypto markets are yet to recover on the current dip that we experienced. So not until the recovery happens, for now we shall be the recovery journey.
4069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 02, 2022, 06:31:22 AM
We can not really tell at the moment if it is but for all i know is if NFTs have shown to be a success which are also the closet technology to the metaverse then for now we can just say it is as everyone is rushing to be part of it and optimistic about this tech. And with big companies getting on board we can say its in a bubble.

Raphinha transfer claim made as Liverpool told to seal January switch
Glen Johnson has claimed Liverpool should sign Raphinha to deputise for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, both forwards depart for the African Cup of Nations this month leaving Jurgen Klopp short of attacking options.

Former Reds defender Johnson is concerned the likes of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi are not up to the task of replacing the Reds' prolific duo.

Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in signing Leeds star Raphinha, the 25-year-old has scored eight goals this season despite Marcelo Bielsa's side struggling near the bottom of the table.

Johnson believes signing the Brazilian international is the logical move to strengthen the Reds’ attack in the absence of Salah and Mane.

4071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: January 01, 2022, 07:23:50 PM
I have lost all my capital to trading but still yet I feel the urge to trade more, I spent a huge capital to trade some new coins recently and was actively involved in spot trading. But recently I lost all my capital and I decided to give a break but now am feeling I should return back to trading.
The road to success is never an easy one so is trading! Losses might look like the end of it or you doing it wrong but thats where the real lesson comes from, just dont give up nobody starts off as a pro, practice makes perfect. And i would advise you adjust for risk management to reduce your trade exposure.
4072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: January 01, 2022, 07:19:22 PM
For starters meme coins arent any different from the other elite coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, binance coin you name them.... If the coin is listed on an exchange with liquidity and has a large community then those are some of the conditions that can make it easy to make money off a project or meme coin .
4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 01, 2022, 07:14:19 PM
Arsenal impressed me with the fight they put up against Manchester city in a match we all knew of the outcome to come.... But a lose of 2-1 shows arsenal have really improved after a spell that almost got their current manager fired, big improvement for them hope Manchester united can also catch them after this drop of points.

4075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Bank announces to support Bitcoin; says it's important to own private key on: January 01, 2022, 03:46:14 PM
More banking institutions getting on board could actually be a signal for governments support for cryptocurrencies but of course having legislation which dictates the governments position will take time but this on its own is a win win for everyone! Hope more banks join this crypto journey.
4076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: December 31, 2021, 05:15:25 AM
The hype has always been a 50-50 chance for several projects out there, its just so unfortunate for the good projects out there that fail to build this hype to get supporters on board as they turn out to be out of the peoples favorites and are forced to either call off the project for failing to get support or fund it which is an expensive route.

But the only unfortunate thing about all this hype is that hype not a measure of success, sometimes this hype just deceives afaik and we ought to be super cautious about it.

Team lineups are in for the MAN UTD game versus Burnley
Manchester United starting lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Matic, Sancho, Greenwood, Cavani, Ronaldo

Subs: Rashford, Lingard, Fred, Varane, Dalot, Henderson, Alex Telles, van de Beek, Elanga.

Burnley starting lineup: Hennessey; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Cork, Westwood, McNeil; Lennon, Wood

I hope this wont be another last minute saving for Manchester United because last time out they got lucky , this one has to look convincingly if they can win today.
4078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 30, 2021, 02:02:05 PM
Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all ended with under 2.5.
Maybe with these covid cases on the raise again, players are playing less aggressive now which is why we seeing less goals.

Expecting a draw from Brentford last night, a win for Chelsea but Danny welbeck came from the bench to secure a draw for Brentford.
Embarrassing Manchester United, 15 days resting and they ended with such aweful performance.
Please someone should tell someone to tell Ralhf Rangnick to put Maguire on the bench.
That welbeck goal was a heart break goal for the chelsea fans for all I know but this was also an important goal for the Brighton fans as they rescued a point in the dying minutes of the game which should keep their top 10 aspirations alive.... Otherwise this means the race for the top team could be over for Chelsea.
4079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the safest of the 'safest ways' to store Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2021, 09:37:10 AM
For starters if am going to profile these criminals, am thinking the aggregated robbers should be from a younger age group to know of bitcoin and to be stupid enough to get other peoples mobile phones which could be used to track them later on. But thinking about it where on earth would you have time to go through peoples phones during a robbery and go an extra mile to find btc wallets Roll Eyes, somehow this is sounding too goo to be true. If this did happen hope they get the perpetrator.
4080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 30, 2021, 06:47:39 AM
Brentford surprised me with how well they held up against high flying Manchester city, am certain most punters would have expected to see not less than 3 goals in this fixture but they were limited to only one goal which is commendable on the defensive side of things. With what i saw yester night if they can build on this solid defensive structure they should be able to get better results with fine turning of the front side to try get maximum points going forward.
Otherwise city is destined to be crowned champions for this one.
