This is not even about knowing other traders mind because people's mind are subjective but it is about understanding the way that the market works. Researching helps to know this. Sometimes, when you plot your graph or use your MA, you can be able to guess the next movement of the coin you are trading on. However, the guess is not always perfect though.

I'm looking at investing in few coins lately. One is tadex. I Like the coin, it is cheap, with relatively low supply (a little bit above 100 million), and good market cap. Also waves. To me waves have not really had a good run lately, so I'm thinking it is the time since it had been around for a long time with good usage.

I think what is being suggested is for investors who are already having their coins in wallets or other places that it is stored and not people who want to invest. Swing is for short time buy and sell, not hodling. They are not the same thing.

However, I can only hodl a coin who has potential. I will dump when it does not have good prospect afterall.

Lol... The fmerit too got me because I had a reasonable number of it (below 100 though). And, I was thinking could that be a mechanism to reduce my little merit I had already  . I was more confused with the fmerit and was waiting to follow any thread on it... Smiles. Theymos got me there. What a joke....

Still waiting for some hours more to elapse to see if this is playing the fool on "April fool's". This is more confusing and will breed far more threads than the merit system is currently doing.
Merit was just a single word but there are 6 different words that members would seek clarification separately even when they understand it/them.

Trading is a serious business for me. At the time of making the decision to enter the market, it is strictly to make substantial profit but if I make the order and get lucky on gains; it becomes fun and emotional satisfaction because I actually like to see the movement of the platform on profit.

Exactly mate. I don't need to worry myself or the forum on this. Just like the merit system, it took some short time and others long time to understand but I'm sure 95% of users from junior member rank got to understand the merit system before the introduction of this present ranking system.

Surely, it will be understood. What we need to do is to monitor our profile rank as we post and progress, also observe and read from others comment. However, I hope is all automated because the manual merit system to me was/is highly biase and full of cheating.

There is always a bad time for business. Business investments should not be expected to be on gains all the time. There are rise and fall even in human nature. Maybe cryptocurrency is experiencing this at the moment.

I think I can "dance" with a company that has track records, reputation and has been successful in previous products but the thing with ico companies is that they are always new established company maybe for the sole reason of pushing a coin. That makes it more difficult to track previous history of the company as an entity because an individual record does not give me the guarantee except I just want to play the risk game.

I'm very much convinced that the whales don't have hand in this because the fall from $8,950 from last week has been a gradual and steady fall since then till this time. By this, I think the coin at the moment have stabilized its price movement and soon will pick for upwards again.

I do not support spamming with merit threads but if it differently done either to educate, expose users to what others are doing with merits or to get some merits via hilarious moves ...well !!

I see that if a low ranking member or yet to be known member opens such a thread, tongues will start waxing. Lol
I just believe if you have such gift, good in your strategy and a "words-smith" like nullius, you don't have to limit yourself.

I do not consider OP's post as much of a shit post. So whether stylishly trying to prig the heart of members who have merit to give or not is not really an issue for me. If the post on that isn't a shit post with lots of disjointed sentences, abbreviations and deficiency in concords. I'm good to go if I have to give.

The second part of what you wrote is what I agree with. The number one is very true. I do know that an ico that is real won't start sending you private message on telegram or soliciting for btc/eth or another other coins as contribution. They will send whatever message in the general telegram group. That is taken but at same time, I still would not give all my trust in.

The internet is what we make of it, just like the way we lay our beds so we shall sleep on it. If we are positive ourselves, we don't even need the internet to do the magic for bitcoin and cryptos. If your investment in cryptos is growing and you are investing in other areas both physical, then you don't need the internet for any publicity.

I don't know of other coins but certainly bitcoin would come back stronger. It wasn't this price by this time last year and speculations have been that it will drop to $3,500 yet it still strong which is an indication of a coin that will rise.

For etheruem, I'm really surprised the way the coin has dropped drastically, a sign for buy.

The waiting is phenomenal and must be that way if we want to go out with profit. Bitcoin or crypto investment is like stock and not like forex trade that money is made both downward and upwards.

If one invest in bitcoin and unfortunately the price goes down, the waiting is the next option if profit is expected.

From my angle, I view this position as bitcoin being a new investment area and if it is an investing opportunity, that means it can provide another investment for people to make money. When people of a country are having means to generate income, it gets them happy, shifting majority of the youths out from social vices. 

First, it will reduce crime, it will grow the gdp of the country because the government would have lesser vices to combat which obviously would reduce wastages.

Second, if the government have lesser financial wastages, monies would be channelled into social amenities and other meaningful projects - thereby, creating better standard of living.

I have read in so many thread here on hopes for bitcoin flying every month since the beginning of January this year but we are still on dragging price, going back and forth $10,000 and $8,000. Now we are approaching April and the expectations are high again. For me,  I don't know what is special about the coming month. I will just hodl what fraction I have.

I invested in sic coin and honestly, I don't understand what is happening with it. So much a disappointment ever since I got in with the shit coin. They had a fork yet no growth till this time.
