4081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another person losses $20k to Fake Uniswap on Google Play on: November 21, 2020, 02:56:09 PM
I think users are trying to find alternatives to make it easier to use mobile apps Uniswap from Google Playstore, but they don't research Uniswap if the official app is not available other than the website version. I will not use any application other than those linked on the website, Twitter and telegram, because if you are using a third party application then you will be ready to face the risk of wallet hacking.
This is why people always remind us to always be careful when we are in the crypto space. Something that looks good doesn't necessarily have good security. The mobile application make it easy for trader to control and observe price movements without having to open the site, but people can still do something in a hurry without trying to see the validity on the official site. Just like you, I have never tried to use a mobile application for trading activities from any exchange.
4082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there really only 2 types of Altcoins from a Investor's view? on: November 20, 2020, 05:20:17 AM
This is the first time I have heard of these two term in crypto trading. I think this article is quite good and useful but it is a bit difficult to filter it on Coinmarketcap or Coingecko. However trading is a very risky activity but in general I think diversification is very useful for maximizing profit.

Degerators are altcoins have values decreasing with time.
Oscillators are altcoins have values repeat rise cycle with time but it does not mean they have increase in values.
If grouped it will be like this.
1. Oscillators = Bitcoin and other potential asset
2. Degerators = Shitcoin and all of asset not developed.
4083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 07:08:04 PM
Speculation and Volatility are two thing that have always been closely related to bitcoin.
Why do people say that they are so unlucky not to buy bitcoin at a time when it's cheap and given the fact that today it has risen 4.48x from its price in March ? This is volatility, price can still go down and rise suddenly and it's hard to guess. We cant say that at this point the price has reached the lowest and the highest because in reality it is very volatile. One can only guess and attribute prices to the things that happen in the world and that is speculation. This has been happening to bitcoin for a long time. Deep pocket of people who believe in bitcoin's future potential will almost certainly benefit greatly from it.

We cant say that the current bitcoin price is the highest point in 2020 because if the price reaches $73K in the following year then this $16.5K must be a cheap price so we will again hear the rambling of people's misfortune again here. ;v
4084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 15, 2020, 06:16:52 PM
You can of course still say that an IEO is best if the IEO is done on a top exchange like Binance or Kucoin. In general, all altcoin projects still carry a different level of risk for investors even though their products are marketed on the top exchanges. Initial bidding is an investment method that can provide many returns for investors and at the same time we know that not all IEOs are good and it will depend on how willing their team is to continue to compete to be the best.

I am not an IEO investor, but I believe all investor still need to do analysis on the project they are going to invest in even if it is done on the top exchange.
4085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 15, 2020, 06:03:01 PM
First I would like to congratulate Bitcoin investors, and they should be happy, because the price of Bitcoin has continued to skyrocket during the 2020 United States Presidential election period. according to the Cointelegraph report, Crypto traders and analysts have started looking for information to determine Biden policy moves for the cryptocurrency sector. It looks like the crypto community agrees that a president who says nothing about cryptos is preferable to a president who has underestimated cryptocurrency. Trump defeat is supported by Qiao Wang (leader in the DeFi Alliance's decentralized financial accelerator), because Trump had said negative things about BITCOIN and LIBRA some time ago, So we will see how the cryptocurrency continues after Biden is inaugurated next year.
Speculation had started even before Biden officially won the election. One thing that could possibly be positive is that Biden is not like a bitcoin/ cryptocurrency hater. If later after Biden is officially inaugurated as president, regardless of the policy regarding bitcoin or cryptocurrency, I am sure that all of that will not affect the main use of bitcoin. Without it, the price of bitcoin can still experience volatility, and we must be know that bitcoin is an asset that cant be controlled by anyone.
4086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I was fucked, do not repeat same mistakes as me on: November 15, 2020, 05:47:12 PM
Your experience is very valuable to us, at least that's what I can say after you went through that mess. After I read some safety advice in your thread then I think I still have a good choice to at least not suffer the same fate as you and that is.
  • Write down all credentials regarding important data on multiple flashdisk and store them safely in different places.
  • Write it down on paper and make several copies and keep them safely in different places
I've been using both of these security method for a long time and it would be helpful if one of them was missing. We still can't trust all the important data on our Android phone, something can still happen with the phone and it's like being stolen or all the data is lost.
4087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you still earn value when a BTC is tied up in a limit or other order? on: November 15, 2020, 05:25:56 PM
I took your advice and sold all my BTC to USD except for a 0.05BTC Limit order of 16500. For me I get addicted to watching those charts and seeing my money go up.
You are fully entitled to hold bitcoin for longer or sell them when you see a profit. In fact, you don't really make a profit if you haven't sold your bitcoin for USD even though you've seen the estimated value go up. Crypto trading is very difficult to predict due to price volatility and we can still lose in USD if the asset price dump. The price can still go down suddenly and it can also go up suddenly. But if you still want to keep it, go for it and accept all the consequences. Good luck.
4088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 15, 2020, 05:02:39 PM
Very difficult times are coming for Spanish clubs and Barcelona is currently in the most difficult situation.
I think Barcelona still have the most realistic option at the moment if they really need money to finish the season and that is a reduction in the salaries of the player if they can't sell off the player. This option is at least helpful enough to save on club expenses for high paying player. During the pandemic, all European team lost a lot of revenue and the most prominent one was match day revenue. Player salaries need to be reduced and in my opinion this is an option worth considering.
4089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 15, 2020, 04:45:17 PM
Today we will see the England playing against Belgium and it will be a game of surprises because both Belgium and England have chances to win this game so I will not place a bet for this game.
Belgium vs England, it's going to be a great game. Somehow I firmly believe that Belgium deserved to win this match from England and that will definitely cheer me up a little. By the way, I'm betting on Belgium today and hope England can give me a little chance to breathe a sigh of relief.
4090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 15, 2020, 10:57:22 AM
~snip
Basically no one will provide insurance to bitcoin user if they don't entrust all their asset to a second party (such as an exchange). Even the government will absolutely not be responsible for the case of losing bitcoin even though they have made a rule that bitcoin is legal. At least all this should make us realize that our bitcoin are entirely our responsibility to secure them.

I don't think insurance company would likely to insure the Bitcoin since it's volatile and would likely immune to risk. But I'm curious if any company offers this kind of service specifically just for Bitcoin insurance.

ya.ya.yo!
It is very difficult to realize, but consumer protection from some companies is still possible.
4091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could 2018 repeat itself? Price approaching 20K and high fees followed by crash on: November 15, 2020, 09:54:39 AM
~snip
Probably that is the sign of having massive adoption.
I don't know if the low fee can be seen as evidence that adoption has increased. However, in my opinion, this low fee is due to the network condition that is not full of transaction and the market is in a sideways state. It is seen that when the bitcoin price is bullish happen suddenly, the fee will increase and will increase if the public continues to want transaction to be processed quickly.
4092  Economy / Economics / Re: Hoping that its the end of corona virus on: November 14, 2020, 06:58:40 PM
This virus did the same for everywhere, messed up everything and made a lot of people to be so damn broke. It wasn’t easy, and the worst part is that the economy wasn’t helping at all, the price for foodstuffs were going up and before you know it you have spent up all your money because of food. So, it wasn’t easy at all.
This virus attack almost all countries in the world and has become a weapon of economic disruption for the country and also the world. There is nothing wrong with blaming the government for its effort to prevent and handle these case. They can still absorb fund from various source only because some of them are corrupt and the small people have to bear the consequences of greed. The cost of living has increased, social welfare has decreased and many people have lost their jobs.

However, it seem that now thing are getting better, especially in the country or where I live because all community activities are running smoothly like all but still adhere to health protocol. I am sure the virus is still there, but it seem that people are no longer afraid to carry out activities so that the worst impact on the economy and welfare can be minimized.
4093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could 2018 repeat itself? Price approaching 20K and high fees followed by crash on: November 14, 2020, 06:40:36 PM
The bullish scenario that can reach $ 20k if it is very possible, as the market can sometimes repeat events.

It should be noted that we are approaching December, and December is a month where the price of Bitcoin is usually very likely to rise, there is more demand, that is, people trade more and use bitcoin a lot, which, is good, if there is more demand, the supply decreases and the price increases. It's a great opportunity, the best for now is hodl.

On the other hand, when this happens, it is logical that the Bitcoin rates increase, if transfers are made with little fee it would take a long time for the transaction to arrive, some people have waited weeks for the transaction to be completed, I think the best thing is to do the transaction with a normal fee.
Repetition of event can still occur and it is not impossible. But it all depend on how much people are willing to buy bitcoin in the market because increasing demand is a sign that the price will go up. December 2017 many investor and newcomer entered the crypto world where they brought several suitcases filled with fresh money to invest. But slowly these people stepped back and began to fortify themselves from greed and manage better strategies such as being less affected by ICO and IEO project.

We all don't know what will happen to bitcoin in the future, but I really believe that the increased adoption and also investor confidence in bitcoin will go a long way toward increasing its price. Let's hope that price volatility will continue to provide benefit for those who are good at it because on the other hand volatility can also cause losses for them.
4094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biden's winning effect on the crypto market. on: November 14, 2020, 06:26:25 PM
Bitcoin has been shown to last for many years as a decentralized cryptocurrency. Basically we all know why bitcoin has a price and what determines its price. Increased user trust and adoption have kept bitcoin a tradeable asset at such a high price.

Price fluctuation are often associated with various circumstances including one of the policies, regulation, and also the words of a US president. But none of this affect bitcoin's primary use as a unique payment system. I don't think that investor will lose faith in bitcoin just because of a US president so the price keep going down. It should be that volatility is one of the thing that can help them turn a profit, and it shouldn't have a stable price if their goal is to make a profit.

I am sure trader and investor will continue to believe in bitcoin as a profitable asset because people always know that bitcoin is not a bubble or part of a ponzi scheme. Volatility and speculation remain, but that doesn't mean it's a weakness of bitcoin itself.
4095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 14, 2020, 05:55:37 PM
Suarez deal wasn't really a deal because he was a bad player now
I totally disagree if you say that Suarez is a bad player now. Did you know that Suarez has scored 5 goal and 1 assist for Atletico Madrid so far ?
I think Suarez is still pretty good if Barcelona management want to keep him in the team, but it look like the coach doesn't want him. To be honest, Luis Suarez was better than Griezmann at Barcelona and he still isn't done.

There are 2 people to blame for Suarez's departure this season from Barcelona and that is the president and the coach. They were utterly cruel as this could still be said to be an unacceptable humiliation on Suarez's side.
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 14, 2020, 05:35:37 PM
Everyone has the right to determine what is the goal of gambling, our goal can be the same and it could be different but I can say that most of us gamble for the sake of winning a little money. We can still deny that the purpose of gambling is for fun, but the truth is that winning some money is the end goal of fun.

But I never thought gambling was the best place to make money consistently because it probably won't be. Therefore I can still accept that losing at gambling is normal and winning is part of the luck. Most gambler are out of luck in the end, but gambling will continue to exist forever even though we know what the worst effect are.
4097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 14, 2020, 03:40:10 PM
Not even get government approval, then how can you get insurance.
It depend on which country you live in as several countries have approved it as a mean of payment.

The step is to get government approval, then maybe insured. It would be difficult if it weren't.
When you own a certain amount of bitcoin, it is your responsibility to secure it in various ways. It is still possible to get insurance if all your bitcoin are entrusted to a company or exchange. Several exchange have been held highly responsible for hacking case and fully compensated their consumer for all losses. But of course this kind of thing is not recommended. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, so it's like you have your own bank and you are in charge of it.
4098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 08, 2020, 06:54:39 PM
The result Man City vs Liverpool 1-1 so Leicester still in top for a while, many results of this season beyond unexpected, I thought Liverpool will win this match especially seeing the CL results where they could win by 5 goals but it didn't.
It hurt because this match ended without a win. If only De Bruyne had scored from the penalty spot, City would have finished in the top 6. But unfortunately he failed to maximize these opportunities. I really doubt their consistency this season to win the EPL, sometimes it's hard to say they will win even if the opponent look weak. What has changed from Manchester City this season ?

Soon, Arsenal vs Aston Villa. What do you expect from this match. Will there be any more surprises here ?
4099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 08, 2020, 06:43:15 PM
Rushing is not a good thing in investing. the key is momentum, how we can control ourselves and refrain from waiting for the right time where we can get the profit we want.
Investment must be made very carefully and with full consideration. It is not advisable to rush investing without the slightest consideration. This can be self-defeating because we may not be able to achieve the expected target of what was invested.

Doesn't have to be too fast or too long, the important thing is to be on time
This is one reason why we don't need to rush to determine the asset we want to invest in, especially in altcoin. Buying at the right time is an attempt to maximize your return for investment.

@slaman29 it’s really sad to know about his injury, and I can only hope that he recovers quickly, because I personally feel that Barcelona will need him on the pitch if they’re to challenge Real Madrid for the league title. Also Messi played very well when he came on from the bench, and now all he needs to is put in some more performances like this, and it’ll not only improve his confidence, but it’ll lift the entire teams morale too.

Really this is news that we really don't want as fans. But whatever it is I hope he gets well soon and come back to the team. Fati is a long-term project belonging to Barcelona, his very young age will allow him to recover faster than expected.
I hope Koeman can maximize the potential of other player for the next few game, I hope he still has player who suitable with Messi in the front area.
