I think the cure is already in existence, I heard that world health organization brought the vaccine for corona virus to be dispense around the world for treatment and total eradication of the virus, but the problem is that people by the corner  is producing fake vaccine and named it corona virus vaccine, which no one knows the original vaccine introduced by world health and the fake vaccine people sell to make money.
But in country no information or news that carry on information that they have receive the vaccine from world health organization, that's the reason many people are afraid of road side vaccine because it may caused harm to the system if not tested to know how enzymes will act on it or to know how it will catabolized in the system before taking.

Maybe what you said is their interior motive to advertised the app here as you said, and to gather firm or to attracts people to start using the application so that peoples cryptocurrency will be missing, but if that's is some peoples objectives it's really bad ideology, because no one can lost he or her cryptocurrency and be happy, since many people has condemn it, I think the option is circulate the information to avoid people not to fall victims into phone app for mining.

Covid19 really affect people seriously in different ramifications, some people give off their life, and some lost their Jobs that keep food on their table, so its causes different damage on life during last year, and even some businesses shutdown due quantum's of expiring products today and no capital to purchase new products to start up business.And another aspect of it, is that covid19 taught people lesson on how to conserved both finance and food, so people now has learnt a lesson.

* feeding three square meal a day....it's obvious the individual is personal rich,
* having a personal shelter.... These are one of the criteria of been rich,

At First, what is government? You're really right because government can only restrict regulation of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin in her country through bank, government don't have the veto power to ban Bitcoin because its is digital currency and no one can ban it or  stops its market transaction except people lost interest in btc.

When looking from another angle it's not really bad but the problem is that it might be an avenue to trapped people's Bitcoin, because someone can wake-up any day any time and invent new thing positive or negative, now using app is new innovation and no one can give it a trial because we don't want to lose our Bitcoin, because we are not sure of application mining.
