4081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: August 23, 2020, 09:57:13 AM
I live in Croatia.
Yes, I agree that our government and state have given us good terms as far as the crypto tax is concerned.
We only pay 12% tax and only if we exchange crypto for fiat money.
Interesting law, how does that 12% tax is treated, was that an income tax or something, because IMO exchanging or selling crypto to fiat does not mean profit all the time since we also use fiat to acquire crypto.

If we keep crpto for 2 years in the wallet we do not pay any tax.
I think these are very reasonable and fair rules.
Since last year, we have even had the opportunity to sell bitcoin directly in state post offices  Grin

This one too, I'd like to know something brief about the rules, if you would just care to share though.

Ok, I'm really not a tax expert but I think we pay the crypto tax as a second income from abroad.
I haven’t gone to the post office to sell bitcoin yet but as far as I’ve heard, it’s very simple.
At the post office, they read the code on our mobile phone at the time of sale and wait to receive confirmation that the transaction has passed.
Everything is done using an application developed by the Croatian company Electrocoin https://electrocoin.hr/en
When the employee at the counter receives confirmation that the transaction has been completed and confirmed, he makes a payment in local currency at the current exchange rate.

Messi seems to have become even more furious and angry at Barcelona.
All the details of his meeting with new Barcelona coach Koeman have been revealed by RAC1, and they are close to the current president of Barcelona and the board.
Messi seems to believe that this is a deliberate diversion of the Barcelona management to portray him as a bad boy and force him to leave the club.
What do you think?

So it's Barcagate 2.0? I seriously don't undertstand why Bartomeu is still president. He should have been kicked out long time ago, right after his initial smear campaign against his current and former players and coaches was uncovered. And now when Barca wants to make a fresh start it would've been another possibility to get rid of him finally.

@Daniel91 I’m really surprised to read that Barcelona board members want him to be sold, and if that happens then Barcelona will only suffer more setbacks. @Darkoth89 yea Bartomeu deserves to loose next year’s election, and due to his ego it’s quite possible that we may see Messi leave on a free transfer in the 2021 summer transfer window.

I agree with you, if the president of Barcelona does not leave the club soon, Barcelona will probably lose Messi and enter an even bigger crisis with disturbed relations at the club.
The time has come for changes in the club and the new leadership, otherwise they are threatened with even bigger problems.
4083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2020, 09:43:18 AM
It looks like a great game today. Both teams showed high form in the semi-finals. Thanks to good physical preparation, they were able to set high pressure and dominate the opponent for most of the match. Today, they will probably also appear in the strongest squads. Only Boateng complains about a slight injury. I bet Bayern Munich will win the European Cup. I believe that they have a more even team, with virtually no weaknesses. However, the genius of players such as Mbappe or Neymar can always decide the victory of the Parisians.

I agree, these are two top teams that deservedly reached the finals.
It is difficult to predict the winner because these are teams of approximately the same quality and the match will be decided by current inspiration and maybe luck.
Bayern probably have a little more experience and players of more uniform quality but PSG has 2 extra class players, Mbappe and Neymar, who can make a difference and decide a match at any time.
Still, can we forget Lewandowski?  Grin
I think we will enjoy the match tonight and I give Bayern a little more chance to win.
4084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: August 23, 2020, 09:35:04 AM
I don't think we should pay taxes at all. Though that won't work since you need tax to build and maintain infrastructure. I don't think crypto should or can be taxed unless it becomes fiat. Why should we pay tax on something we created for ourselves? One day people will appoint a new way of doing things where you don't pay tax but rather fees for everything you do. YOu invest in the infrastructure instead of mindlessly tossing money to the government to waste.

In some countries paying tax almost feels like the wrong thing to do since you know what they will do with it. Buy themselves a new car and house.

Mostly I can agree with you.
If you just trade with btc or hold btc funds in the wallet I don't think we have to pay taxes.
But,  if you exchange crypto to fiat or even pay directly some services with crypto it's different matter.
In second case you should pay tax.

Daniel, in which country are you living? I think that these are excellent conditions. It seems that your government is promoting holdings in crypto assets. In EU and US you need to pay high taxes on capital gains.

4085  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: August 23, 2020, 09:28:16 AM
<cut>

[SCAM WARNING] Crimson Capitals DeFi with Plagiarized Whitepaper!

btw, @big_daddy pridružujem se čestitkama na promociji!

Hvala na prijavi i korisnoj informaciji!
Tko je slijedeći? Smiley

Transfer Market- The latest news and rumours:

Inter are preparing an offer to sign Lionel Messi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Given that Messi’s father has already bought a house in Milan does that mean Messi is close to Inter?
Andrea Pirlo is looking for Vidal.
Fiorentina had been pushing to sign Thiago Silva but he seems to be going to Chelsea after all.
Newcastle United are determined to sign Aaron Ramsey from Juventus.
Edin Dzeko must decide if he wants to join Juventus or remain in the Italian capital with Roma. A difficult decision for him.
Kalidou Koulibaly has already signed for Manchester City.

4090  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Theymos we need moderator again in Croatian local board on: August 22, 2020, 11:29:03 AM
@Daniel, what are you bubbling about again? Theymos open discussion about moderator and he assigned Lauda to that position. That topic should have been locked back then.
asked us to choose a candidate from among ourselves and propose to him.
Not really:
This is a discussion, not an election.

Did you get an answer or any kind of feedback on those requests?
No.
By the way, do you remember when exactly we lost moderator, how many years ago?
In January, 2017.:
You got what you wanted. Lauda is no longer a staff member. You can lock this thread now.

It’s been a very long time since that and I’m not young anymore either so I forgot some things, especially around the exact moment of some events  Grin
I thought Lauda had been a moderator much earlier and I had already forgotten when exactly and why he stopped being a moderator.
Thanks for the accurate information.
All of this, however, does not change the essence of what I said in the previous post.
We had a moderator when we had even fewer members and activities, and I expect theymos to assign us a moderator as before.
I think we have quite enough arguments for that request.

Do tad ću valjda imat i 2, ide me u zadnje vrijeme Cool

4093  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Testiranje novog Bitcointalk foruma on: August 22, 2020, 11:13:34 AM

Gledajte to ovako, tamo mozda dobijemo vise sekcija i moderatora hahaha

4094  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Theymos we need moderator again in Croatian local board on: August 21, 2020, 05:01:58 PM
I don't think that is something moderator can create, it's up to admin to give us few new boards. IIRC I've PMed him one or maybe more times to create us new board.

Did you get an answer or any kind of feedback on those requests?

In fact, this discussion about the new moderator for the Croatian part of the forum, started a long time ago, 6 years ago, at the request of theymos, as you can see here:
Maybe it's time to have another poll on our board, just to be ready in case we actually get some kind of official reply here. By the way, do you remember when exactly we lost moderator, how many years ago?

I don't remember very well now, it's been a long time but it seems like about 7 years.
What seems more important to me than that is the fact that we had a moderator when there were fewer members and activities on our local part of the forum.
Another important fact is that theymos promised us a moderator and asked us to choose a candidate from among ourselves and propose to him.
We have done this several times in the last few years but we have never received a response from theymos.
So, we’re not really asking theymos to decide whether our local part of the forum needs a moderator or not because theymos have already decided on that.
We only ask him to select one candidate for moderator from several already proposed candidates here.
And if the main condition is knowledge of English, all candidates fully meet it  Grin
4095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 21, 2020, 08:15:07 AM
This year's European Champions League competition was played in almost extraordinary conditions, without spectators, and in the form of a tournament and not a cup competition.
The fact that German and French clubs had more time to rest and prepare also played a big role.
If there had been no change in the competition system due to coronavirus and if the competition had ended in a normal way, it is unlikely that Atletico or Mamchester CIty would have lost to their opponents in two games.
In a way, UEFA only cared that this competition would end for financial reasons, but the right fans lost a lot.
Football without fans is not real football but business.

Before that, we had a moderator who gave up his job.
After that, we had several discussions about the new moderator, both on our local part of the forum and here in Meta, but nothing concrete happened.
Theymos started it all originally but seems to have forgotten about this issue afterwards.
4097  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Kako instalirati i kako koristiti: ~snip~ on: August 21, 2020, 07:55:42 AM

I ja također.
4098  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Theymos we need moderator again in Croatian local board on: August 20, 2020, 11:34:10 AM
It seems that it has already become a tradition on this forum to wait a very long time for an answer from the admin.
I understand that they are very busy but still it would be nice to have issues like this resolved faster.
4099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: August 20, 2020, 11:19:23 AM
Very good guide for beginners,  thank you for your effort.
In summary,  if you want to join some signature campaign in this forum first ask yourself following questions :
- What I can contribute to this campaign?
- Can I fulfil all campaign conditions?
- Can I trust campaign manager or company owners?
- What about quality of my posts?

Basically,  if you want to join some campaign you first have to prove yourself in this forum.
