1  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Daniel91 cijela priča on: September 15, 2023, 04:54:48 PM

Zadnjih nekoliko dana me uhvatila štucavica, kao da me puno ljudi spominje u zadnje vrijeme  Grin

On ju je osobno sreo, razgovarao s njom i njezinim ujakom.

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: July 19, 2023, 04:09:30 PM
I completely agree with this.
The teams that were the most disappointing in the last major world and European competitions, such as France, Brazil or Germany, have great individual players but lack team spirit and unity.
It is not enough to gather great individuals and expect that the national team will only win and win trophies by inertia.
At the last EURO, when France lost sensationally, it seems to me to Switzerland, and dropped out of the competition early, it was said that the relations between the players in the French team were very bad.
At the world championship in Qatar, they had a serious problem because of Benzema, who the key players of the team did not want, and this reflected on the team's spirit. It is difficult to say whether they would have become world cus again with Benzema, but the damage has certainly been done.

Just watch these two teams play (Argentina and France), and it is very evident. I have never noticed anyone in Argentine squad playing selfishly. They readily pass the ball, depending on the situation and circumstances. But with France, I have noticed several times that their players waste golden opportunities to score, just because they don't want to pass the ball and try to score the goal by themselves. France maybe having some of the best players in the world. But nothing can be done if the players don't trust each other.

Yes, it is an old truth that a lot of good football players does not necessarily mean a very good team.
France played very well at the 2018 World Cup and deservedly became the world champion.
However, this great generation of France, probably the best in their history, should and had to do much more.
They did't manage to become European champions, and at the last EURO they sensationally lost to Switzerland after major conflicts in the team.
They were second to last in the League of Nations, and at the world cup last year in Qatar, they again had problems with relationships in the team.
However, if they solve the problems in the relations between the players, they will again be big favorites at EURO next year.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 19, 2023, 04:01:11 PM
I dont like to see so much countries making one World Cup, but also i dont like when the selected country is a non footb all one, or a non so good country to explore/travel. The last one on Qatar was an clear example, the World CUp was made in a very tiny country with not football tradition , and only backed by the power of money.
With the increase on the number of teams I do not think FIFA has too much of a choice, the amount of money needed to organize the tournament has gone up while the logistic issues have scaled up as well, so it seems to me that the right decision was to let more than one country to host the world cup, what it must never happen again is to allow a country or a group of countries to buy the world cup, which is exactly what Qatar and probably Russia did before.
That doesn't matter by increasing the number of countries hosting the World Cup or countries being able to do it together, but there shouldn't be more than two countries because it will affect the number of countries that have the opportunity to qualify, because the host country will get automatic participation in the world cup later. If there are only two organizers, it will be easier to divide the portion of the matches for each country, each will get the same number of matches, one as the opening and the other as the closing, but FIFA always has an excuse because they are the organization with the power to regulate this, but if the 2030 World Cup organizers are won by 4 countries from the Americas how unpleasant that would be because it reduces the chances of other countries in CONMEBOL qualifying for the World Cup.

I have to admit that it all makes no sense to me anymore.
Once upon a time, we had world cups with only 16 national teams and only 1 host.
In a few years we will have a world cup with 48 national teams and 3 hosts, and I would not be surprised if in 2030 FIFA organizes a world cup with 64 national teams and 4 hosts.
Obviously, FIFA no longer cares about football but only about making money, so maybe in 20 or 30 years we won't have qualifications for the World Cup at all because all the national teams of the world will have the right to participate  Grin
I'm almost certain we'll have a world cup every 2 years soon.
All together this no longer makes sense.

Novak Djokovic is ranked second in singles by the ATP. After his defeats at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic becomes the man with the most grand slam final losses; nonetheless, Carlos Alcarez may still consider him to be the finest opponent he has faced in the sport, it was difficult to watch. Djokovic is getting older, and I don't see him producing at his best any more; all he needs is time to rethink his strategy and move on with his career; this is not the end. He has further greater heights to go, but the truth is that this period belongs to the rising stars, and Carlos Alcarez is a probable star right now.
@borovichok Djokovic will definitely win one or two more time’s before he fades away and it’s quiet natural for that to happen in this sport but if anyone feels that he’s already over then they’re clearly mistaken. Furthermore he’ll recover from this loss and he’ll come out even stronger as he always does hence I yet believe in him and wish that he continues to amaze us with his performances.
absolutely! he isnt done and dusted just because he lost at Wimbledon. Djokovic is just
as effective on Clay and Hard courts and is still in unbelievable condition.

Also not to forget he only lost the GS at Wimbledon by one break of serve in the 5th set.
It would be something if he lost in 3 sets with big margins, that would be concerning.

No he isnt done yet.

He is not done, of course. I completely concur. It is not like he lost the final against Alcatraz by a big margin. He brought the match to the final set. The match went really well for him. It's just that he couldn't secure the win because he was up against the world's top player.

In my opinion, despite his age, I have faith that he still has the capability to win additional trophies. As long as he remains in top condition, Alcaraz will pose as his primary adversary. Undoubtedly, there will come a day when he manages to triumph over Alcaraz in the finals.

I agree with you.
Djokovic is physically and mentally still at the highest level and I think he can play tennis at that top level for at least 2 more seasons.
Alcatraz is currently the biggest challenge for Djokovic, but he is still a young player and I believe that he will have oscillations in his game and results.
Alcatraz could be the heir to the "big three" of world tennis, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic if he continue to play at this level, but I am sure that Djokovic has not said his last word in tennis and that he has the capacity to win a few more GS tournaments.
When Nadal returns from injury next year, I'm sure we're in for a very exciting tennis year  Grin

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 19, 2023, 03:46:58 PM
-snip-
He has a similar style with Zidane and when he feels enough or feels like Manchester City reach to their limits and will fall to the down side soon, he will leave Manchester City. In addition, I believe Pep will want to find challenges from another club, another league. So far he has been working in La Liga, Bundesliga, Premier League and I believe he will want to get experience in Serie A soon.
It looks like that won't happen as long as Manchester City have great players Pep can take advantage of all of them to keep playing strong and getting better.
Pep trains Manchester City not only for one or two seasons, so it has to be how he understands in detail and that way Manchester City will never experience a significant decline.
Pep is a coach with extraordinary experience so that it is also impossible for Manchester City management to just let him go when Pep is still working well for Manchester City.
When Pep coaches a team, he doesn't coach it for a short period of time, and Manchester City is no exception. He has been in the city of Manchester since 2016, that means he has been with Manchester City for more than 7 seasons, and did he immediately achieve the success he has now in his first season? Of course not, he has gone through a long journey to form the foundation of the team to be what we see now.
I actually appreciate Manchester City, because they can be patient and provide flexibility for Pep to process and the results they can enjoy now, the peak was last season when they won the treble winner as well as the Champions League.

I don't think there is a coach in the world who analyzes his team and opposing teams so much and works to organize his team's game, including the smallest details.
From what I've read, he always talks to his players in detail before games about different scenarios during the game and explains exactly how they have to position themselves on the field and how to play.
This is why he is most certainly the best coach in the world, and what is more important, his club has rich owners who can fulfill his every wish and bring all the players he needs to create a top team, strong in every position on the field.
Due to lack of luck and maybe sometimes too much planning and careful play, it took him longer to finally win the Champions League with Manchester City, but now there is no doubt who is the best coach and club in Europe.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 17, 2023, 03:43:15 PM
Novak Djokovic and Alcaraz's match has concluded with a surprising twist. My expectations of a fiercely contested and captivating battle were not misguided. This showdown had all the ingredients for an enthralling spectacle. Ultimately, Álvarez Garfield emerged victorious. Although both players put up a strong fight in the fifth set, ultimately, there could only be one triumphant player in this fiercely competitive contest. Novak Djokovic has a chance, I thought after the first set. But Alcaraz Garfia, number one in the whole world, showed why there is a reason.
As Novak Djokovic won first set I was really shocked and then have feeling most chances he will win this match by big margin and straight sets but after two sets things were looking fascinating, but Alcaraz's fight in third set completely change the momentum and things were at level for the both players but in last and fifth set we have early breakthrough which helps Alcaraz to win this historic event and Novak Djokovic have his first defeat in years.

This was fairly one of the best match while we have two top class players in our front in tennis court, and they were giving their best for the win now with this win we have big change in tennis future because big three eras is almost ended now who is going to rule it's surely interesting.

We watched a really great match that will be talked about for years, a tennis classic.
In the past, Djokovic won a lot of such uncertain matches, but this time he failed to win.
Djokovic had at least two great chances to turn this match in his favor, at the end of the second set when he had a set point and at the beginning of the fifth set when he also missed a big chance to lead 2:0.
Alcaraz played fantastically and concentrated until the end and should be congratulated.
I wonder if we are witnessing history, the slow retirement of a great tennis champion and the arrival of a new tennis champion who could come close to Djokovic's records?
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 17, 2023, 03:35:57 PM
I think it is still early to bet on Champions League matches from this round. I'm speaking for myself at least because there are still so many teams that I don't have any idea about. I tried to bet on such teams in the past and it didn't end up well for me.  Grin  It feels safer to bet on the matches of more known teams than these for me.

This is the last season with the current Champions League format indeed. I wish it didn't change because I find the new one ridiculous. You are in a league-like system but you don't even play with all the teams there. I don't know how fair this system is going to be but let's see. If it doesn't work out well they would return to the previous version I guess.

bet only on teams that you know their strengths. and you can predict your victory better. don't waste money on bets that are hard to guess.

regarding the new system in this competition, it increases the number of clubs that will be participating and with the League format, maybe it will be more attractive for every club. but we haven't seen which one will be more efficient we can see how it will be successfully implemented and successful or will leave controversy at the end of the season.

It seems to me that FIFA and UEFA are experimenting too much lately with all competitions and that their main motivation is to increase earnings and not to increase the quality of the competition.
When you include more national teams or clubs in the competition, the quality of the competition decreases, but the earnings increase due to more matches.
However, this means that key players in the main teams in the Champions League will have to play a lot more games, will be more tired and there will be more injuries.
I believe that the coaches and players of the main clubs in the Champions League are not happy with the proposed changes to the competition, but no one asks them for their opinion, what is shame.
Klopp and Pep already complained last year about the fact that their main players have to play too many games in the season, but nobody listens to them and now there will be even more games per season.

Rikafip, thank you very much for another very detailed and interesting analysis of the activities on local boards on the forum.
This month you rushed and published your analysis earlier than usual. Are you in a hurry because you are soon going on a well-deserved vacation at the sea?  Grin
I hope that soon we will also see analysis for the Croatian local board as well  Cheesy
As for the rest, it was quite expected that we would see a drop in activity during the summer, and even our local champion got a little tired and wasn't as active as usual.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 16, 2023, 03:44:09 PM
Djokovic missed a great opportunity to lead 2:0 in the sets and currently Alcaraz is leading 3:1 in the third set and is playing much better than Djokovic.
Djokovic makes a lot of mistakes on key points in the match, which is not typical for him and he doesn't look good.
If Djokovic fails to change the course of the match, Alcaraz will be close to winning the match overall.
I didn't expect this kind of match, I thought that Djokovic would be much more dominant in this match, but it seems that he got nervous and makes a lot of mistakes.

Ako ti 3% ne znači ništa, onda nemoj me krivo shvatit al pojma nemaš o ekonomiji.

A nemam pojma o puno stvari, priznajem.

Sunday's gossip:

Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong, 26, could be offered to Manchester City as part of a swap deal that would involve Portugal's Bernardo Silva, 28, going to Barcelona. An interesting offer that would certainly suit Barcelona, which has no money to bring in new players. Will Manchester City accept the offer?
Bayern Munich executive Uli Hoeness believes that Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane, 29, will move to Germany this summer. It seems to me that Hoeness is too optimistic because if PSG gets involved in this deal, the story is over for Bayern.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has agreed personal terms with Al-Ettifaq but there is yet to be an agreement reached between the two clubs for the English midfielder, 33. Another football player is going to a rich football retirement in Saudi Arabia.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ready to move from Chelsea to Marseille, with the Gabon striker, 34, willing to lower his salary to make the transfer happen. It's very busy in Chelsea this summer. A lot of football players are leaving and the question is who is coming?
Chelsea and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 30, will not now join Inter Milan - who have decided against a move - with Juventus or a club in Saudi Arabia his most likely destinations. Lukaku is slowly becoming the main story of this summer. Will he become a traitor to Inter fans if he goes to Juve or will he still opt for a rich football retirement in Saudi Arabia?

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 16, 2023, 10:54:29 AM
There is nothing much to argue about in this rule which has been a rule that previous hosts have enjoined over the years. @Leviathan.007  how fair would it be that your country is a host of the world cup tournament with the so much inconveniences that follows the whole process of preparations and arrangement of hospitality to all tourists that would be in attendance? It makes no sense at all that's why the express slot are given to host countries and nothing unfair about that, it's rather understandable.

Just one question to you.

If a country can't qualify for the FIFA World Cup, why should that country be given the hosting rights? This was very evident during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Qatar was given automatic entry to the tournament since they were the hosts. And what happened after that? They lost all three of their group stage matches and got crashed out of the tournament. I still believe that if a more deserving country from AFC was given that slot, then they would have performed much better. Anyway, in this case United Arab Emirates was the team that was ranked 6th in the AFC qualifiers. I don't know how they would have performed, had they been given the chance.

There is nothing we can do about that topic because this rule has been established already by the FIFA that the ones who will host the event will be given a special treatment to qualify automatically without having to go through the regular process and we have grown accustomed by that rule, and so I don't see any new about this because performance is certainly not a basis for a country(s) to host the FIFA World Cup, it's on the business side, national teams are not included in the negotiations in the first place.

The rule that the host has the right to automatic participation in the World Cup has existed since the very beginning, when the first World Cup was held in Uruguay in 1930.
I think it turned out to be a good rule because there would certainly be fewer fans at the matches and less interest in the matches if the home team did not play.
After all, the same rules exist in other team sports such as basketball, handball, waterpolo etc.
When the USA hosted the FIFA World Cup in 1994, it helped to increase interest in soccer in the USA, their league and national team got better and they have played an increasingly prominent role in the World Cups ever since.
The USA has become a very important market for soccer, and it all started with the organization of the World Cup in 1994. That is why it is always important that even weaker hosts can perform and play at the World Cup and help the promotion and development of football in their countries.
After all, from the next world cup, the number of participants will increase so that even weaker national teams from other continents will get the opportunity to play at the world cup.

To be honest, I was quite disappointed with yesterday's semifinals, either because Djokovic and Alcaraz were really ready to face their opponents or because their opponents couldn't play with their highest performance, last year Jannick Sinner was able to take two sets from Djokovic but this time not even for a set though, and Medvedev, who looked like he couldn't get out of the pressure of the third set, was a bit hopeful but still couldn't find his best form.
The final between Djokovic vs Alcaraz was as predicted, Djokovic remains the favorite considering he is quite superior in this tournament and rarely sees odds on Djokovic above 1.30 this time he gets 1.54 with Alcaraz 2.55, if many think Djokovic often loses the initial set and after that playing at the highest level of his game but I'm pretty sure he's not going to do that this time and from Djokovics match with all the young players it's surprising the age difference is over 13 years but his fitness doesn't show he's older.
I still think it will be 4 sets; Djokovic will loose the first set and than go on and win the next 3 sets. I am surprised that the odd for Djokovic is around 1.5; this is the first time that Alcaraz gets so far as grass is not his favorite underground so Djokovic is the clear favorite here to win Wimbledon again.
The young versus the experienced gonna play the finals. Djokovic being the favourite for the Wimbledon finals is an expected one. Losing the first set and winning the match is kind of style that Djokovic follows. At times this can fire back, because against a player like Alcaraz is different from playing against unseeded players. Even a small mistake could make Alcaraz make the lead. Lets see what's gonna happen as the top seeded ones compete for the title.
This is the first time in history something unexpected have taken place and that is really appreciable. In Women's tournament an unseeded player have reached the finals and won the title, Vondrousova have won against Jabeur 6-4 6-4

The final between Alcaraz and Djokovic is going to be a really good one. This is also going to be fairly close and competitive between both of them. I know that it is a match between young and experienced.

All the young one, Alcaraz, does have youth on his side which will probably give him more speed and stamina I think Djokovic being the experienced one will be able to come back even if he is behind at the start of the match. I agree that the style of Novak Djokovic is losing the first set and then making a comeback. Probably he is more concerned about reserving his energy.

It's never easy to step out onto center court at Wimbledon and play a final. Tradition and experience are on Djokovic's side, it seems to me that so far Djokovic has lost only 1 final and won 7, which is a great result.
Djokovic obviously likes to play at Wimbledon and along with the GS tournament in Australia, he had the most success in this tournament.
Due to his style of play, it is clear that Alcaraz will always be the best on slower surfaces like Roland Garros and that is why I am delighted that he is so good on the fast Wimbledon surface as well.
However, I think Djokovic has a better chance of winning today.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 16, 2023, 07:24:42 AM
I think the target of reaching the last 16 of the champions league feels very realistic for Newcastle, especially since they haven't been in Europe's highest competition for so long. I think Eddie Howie knows very well what they need in order to survive until that round and go through every match that is there with a win. Maybe it will be his first achievement as a Newcastle coach if he can reach that stage and if he fails to take Newcastle to that stage, he will still be able to try again at another time if he still has the same squad as now. Now Newcastle's focus remains the same, namely maintaining the top 4 in the domestic league and of course bringing this team much better in the champions league, it requires extraordinary energy and mind.
At least for almost 20 years, Newcastle did not have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League and last season managed to qualify for the top 4 in the Premier League which made them have a Champions League ticket so that this golden opportunity was impossible to waste Eddie Howie must have prepared carefully for the Champions League because you can see that last season Newcastle got the top 4 of the Premier League so it is still very likely that Newcastle will also qualify for the top 16 of the 2023/24 Champions League season.
We'll just have to wait and see if Newcastle can really live up to expectations or get knocked out before entering the last 16.

In fact, with the new Arab owners, Newcastle became the richest football club in the world.
The new owners clearly have a very good strategy and long-term plan for Newcastle and they are in no rush. Already in the first real season, they won participation in the Champions League without investing too much money for new players.
I think Newcastle will continue to grow every season and could soon replace Manchester City at the top of English and European football.
It won't happen overnight, but in 4-5 years, I believe that Newcastle could reach and even overtake Manchester City, with such a patient and smart plan for the gradual growth of the club by the new owners.
This season, it is still too early to expect big things from them.
You would be exaggerating if you say that with Newcastle's new owners being Arabs making it the richest football club in the world.
There are many English or European football clubs that are owned by Arab billionaires and in fact the most important factor in the success of a football club is not only the owner but also the players and management who take care of the football club itself.
It's not easy to replace Manchester City as the leader at the top like last season.
For Newcastle to be able to get better with improved performance I believe it can happen but to be able to beat Manchester City I'm not sure of that.
If Manchester City doesn't develop better, it's possible that Newcastle will precede it, but Manchester City is a big club that always prepares well and gets better every season, so don't be in a rush to reach the top in just the next 4 or 5 years.

I don't think it's an exaggeration that Newcastle currently has the richest owners in the world.
Check out this information:

''From a financial perspective, Newcastle is the richest club in the world. This is because their owners, the Saudi Public Investment Fund, are worth an estimated 320 billion pounds. The second richest ownership in football is PSG’s Qatar Investment Authority worth an estimated 220 billion pounds.
In the Premier League, the second richest club is Manchester City. City’s owner, Sheik Mansour, is estimated to be worth around 21 billion pounds. This means Newcastle are over 15 times wealthier than any other club in England!''

Source: https://sqaf.club/newcastle-united-owners-richest-club-world/#:~:text=From%20a%20financial%20perspective%2C%20Newcastle%20is%20the%20richest,Fund%2C%20are%20worth%20an%20estimated%20320%20billion%20pounds.

Of course, the example of PSG showed that for success in football it is not enough to have rich owners and that it is also necessary to have a good development plan and strategy.
If you remember, when the new owners took over Newcastle 2 seasons ago, the club was on the brink of relegation. In just one year, they saved themselves from relegation and entered the Champions League, which is a great success.
This tells me that the new owners of Newcastle know what they are doing and that Newcastle could be a very serious competitor to Manchester City in the future. They have the finances to succeed, they seem to have a good plan and the patience, time and knowledge to implement it.
The time will show.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaigns on: July 16, 2023, 07:08:05 AM
I recently had a discussion on a forum with some friends about how effective these signature campaigns are for casinos.
How many members actually click on those links and considering the costs of the campaigns, how profitable is it for the initiators of the campaigns?
We concluded that through signature campaigns, casinos don't only expect a direct benefit from attracting new members, but that this is part of their branding on the market.
In any case, the very fact that we have so many signature campaigns on this forum shows that these campaigns have a concrete and positive effect on the casino's business, directly or indirectly.

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Retiring on bitcoin on: July 16, 2023, 06:55:15 AM
OP, if you're thinking of waiting until the bitcoin price goes up enough to sell everything, then depositing the money in a bank account and spending it for the rest of your life, trust me that's not a good idea.
Banks are no longer a safe way to store money, and you have to think about inflation, which causes your money to lose value.
I think it is a much better idea to invest part of btc in shares of big and well-known companies, investment funds, real estate /tourism) etc.
That way, you will always have a large and stable portfolio that will bring you constant income and then you can quit your job and enjoy life.
It is important to invest in different asset classes and not depend only on crypto or only on stocks.

Saturday's gossip:

Paris St-Germain are attempting to hijack Bayern's bid for Tottenham's England striker Harry Kane, 29. Kane seemed certain to go to Bayern, but now all options are open. Bayern certainly cannot compete financially with PSG. Will Kane be a replacement for Mbappe or do PSG owners want to create a new fantastic attacking tandem for the new season, Mbappe and Kane?
Chelsea are looking at a making up a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with PSG also interested in the 23-year-old Serbia international. It seems that after the departure of Messi and the possible departures of Mbappe and Neymar, the owners of PSG want to find quality replacements for them and spoil the plans of Bayern and Chelsea.
Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane's representatives have met with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr to discuss a move for the 31-year-old Senegal international. Bayern had big plans with Mane, but now they want to get rid of him as soon as possible. Will he be able to replace Mane with Kane?
PSG have targeted Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 24, not to replace Kylian Mbappe but to help convince the France forward, also 24, to sign a new contract. An interesting and somewhat desperate strategy, will it work?

WTA final live now. Jabeur lost the first set to Vondrousova by making loads of unforced errors. In a couple of last games of the first set she could return a single serve. She lost the opening set 4:6. Right now, second set is under way and it's 4:3 Jabeur. Her quality of play has improved considerably and I'm hoping to see the third set.

Unfortunately, the third set did not happen and Marketa Vondrousova is the new Wimbledon winner.
Jabeur failed to win Wimbledon again and I feel sorry for her. I hope she manages to win this tournament soon because she really deserves it.
Vondrousova won 6:4 and 6:4 and somewhat surprisingly won Wimbledon. I don't know if anyone seriously thought about her as a possible winner before the start of the tournament?
Now we have to wait for the men's final tomorrow and see if Djokovic will rewrite tennis history again.
Alcaraz will be his biggest challenge yet.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Croatian League - Hrvatska nogometna liga 2022./2023. on: July 15, 2023, 02:45:55 PM
Perišić is still under contract with Tottenham for the entirety of the upcoming season. Given his professionalism, it seems unlikely that he will terminate the contract prematurely. It is most probable that his return to Hajduk (as he had previously promised) will only occur in 2024, when his contract expires and he becomes a free agent again.

Yeah, that sounds like a possible scenario. However, with 35 years of age next year, maybe some other club will want to sign him on a one year contract. But I have to admit, it would be nice to see him play for Hajduk. I just hope he won't be like Livaja. I can't stand that guy...

Yes, Livaja is such a character, a conflicted player and a man who likes to provoke other fans and even insult.
The stories surrounding Perisic have quieted down at the moment and it seems that it is not realistic that he will play for Hajduk this year.
By the way, the new season in the Croatian league begins with today's Super Cup match. The first match between the two biggest rivals, Dinamo and Hajduk, will answer questions about their current strength and quality and what we can expect in the new season.
Soon we will see all 4 Croatian clubs in the qualifying matches for European competitions, and it will be interesting to see if anyone else can join Dinamo and enter the group stage of European competitions.
