4081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling is the worst piece of shit you can imagine on: June 17, 2021, 07:22:15 PM
Well, first of all there are better places that charge less, maybe you used one that wasn't good so I would say try to check other places. Secondly people do not play poker too much in crypto world anyway.

I do not want to name any names to make it look like I am shilling, but there is this poker website in crypto world that is the first and has been around longer than any other poker place and those guys are still having hard time filling their cash tables, which means that people do not prefer that, and the other ones that came later did all kinds of promotions but they are living the same fate as well. We love casinos here, and sportsbooks here, but poker is not something that we do play too much, it is just not what people gamble in crypto world. It is not even about the transaction fee, poker in fiat world is just way too big and it is not sharing it with crypto.
4082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 17, 2021, 06:29:17 PM
One of the strategy is to make profit for example you have invested at $500 suppose and the prices now are at $700 and you don't know next move just cash out your $200 profit and stand at your base of $500 and then notice the market reaction. You have to make your own strategy to struggle in the market and grow with intlectual mind and risk taking capabilities.Set your threshold limit upto which you can hodl. You will automatically come to know that whether to sell or not as there is no fixed time for buying or selling and it all depends on how you make effective choice at that time.
Those type of strategies are the reason why people who know economics will always profit in the long run. Obviously you can never know which coins will go up at all times, there is no person who trades at 100% correct rate, however if you know what to do when going down and what to do when going up, if you are always ready for whatever happens, if you know why you should buy something at which time and when you should sell it, then you have a great deal of chance.

I have a friend who is a professional auditor (I hope that is the word, doing audit) and dude got into crypto in the worst possible moment at 2018 bear market and turned his 20k into 2+ million dollars, to be frank he did a lot of it during this past year but he was at around 120k anyway at the start of 2020 as well, which means 6x increase from 2018 to 2020 and in 2 years so that is still quite good, then in the bull market for the past 1.5 years he turned that into even bigger profit, how? Well he knows how economics works, crypto or fiat.
4083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fear : The Debacle of a Trader on: June 17, 2021, 02:30:21 PM
All emotional out breaks are leading to debacle and not just the fear factor.

Trading is a test for both emotion and analytical skills and if you are not good in either one then you may not get consistent results.

A simple technique to overcome the fear factor is, just gaining experience on every trading scenario. When you are getting practice to different market conditions then you will slowly become brave against market which may help to get rid of all the fears of trading. Demo accounts must be playing vital role in gaining experience but most people never consider it and directly get into live markets.
4084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 16, 2021, 08:24:15 PM
Implementing tax on everything helps a country, why would it be any different for gambling? I mean if you take a tax on selling water, tax on food, tax on income, tax on luxury, tax on entertainment basically tax on every single thing, if one dollar is spent somewhere governments take a tax on both side, the buyer pays vat and seller pays income tax, so something that is spent is nearly half tax in most nations.

So, why would it be any different for gambling? If you gamble then you need to pay a tax, if you lose then casino has to pay a tax, if you win then you have to pay a tax, hell be happy that they do not charge for wagering because in that case you would have to pay tax no matter if you win or lose, which is the case for many sectors. Which is why gambling is not a different situation, if you spend a dime, government charges you a tax.
4085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: June 16, 2021, 07:42:36 PM
Most teams did not get any new players, they just let their players go if they do not plan on keeping them, this was probably know long ago considering most of these names had contracts ending this season and that means if you do not want him then you wouldn't offer a contract and when you do not that means end of the season will be end of contract and bye bye.

The real deal will start soon, I know not many people consider them as a threat but I am expecting something huge from Leeds, they are a team that really changed like crazy in the past 3 seasons thanks to Bielsa, dude lives and breathes football and I believe he is going to end up getting some much needed transfers and they have a chance to actually finish at top 5 and go to euorpean cups, I know it sounds crazy to some of you but I believe it is definitely possible if they can get the players Bielsa wants.
4086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs plans to offer ether futures, options to its clients on: June 16, 2021, 07:06:07 PM
If they actually end up doing this, then we are going to end up with something that is going to be crypto crashing in the future. We already have some shorters but the long futures at least covers that time to time, however whenever we have a big drop, even a bigger drop ends up becoming a problem because of the liquidation.

I remember just recently price went up so much that 6+ billion dollars worth of money all got liquidated, what does that mean? 6 billion dollars worth of bitcoin was sold and bought USDT with it automatically, all to cover shorters.

If goldman sachs does it, then they are not going to handle just a few billions, they could handle as much as hundreds of billions of dollars, if they just move some of their clients there, we are screwed, go check out what is going on with GME and that is not even goldman sachs, it is just regular hedge funds, think how hard that would be in bitcoin/goldman sachs war.
4087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 16, 2021, 06:37:11 PM
Everyone is talking about Durant and how amazing he played and that is why they won but the reality is that Harden played so so so bad that it looks like all Durant did was to cover what Harden couldn't, the difference came from other players, they played not so bad.

I would say if Durant didn't play like this, there could have been a blowout by Bucks, at least 10+ point difference because Bucks didn't play bad, they were actually playing very well, they were just unlucky that Durant is one of the best scorers league has ever seen and dude just went on fire and destroyed them, when those superstars are on fire it is rarely ever possible to stop them, you just have to outscore them in order to keep going otherwise they will just punish you from everywhere around the court. Nets didn't win this game, Durant won it, and he won it with Harden scoring just 5 points.
4088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't know what to think on: June 15, 2021, 09:03:12 PM
Do not believe in 4chan, do not believe in the charts, anything you can see that gives you a hint about the future is either made up so that people can manipulate the market or it is simply just a wrong thing that you are looking into, if bitcoin was something we could have looked and saw the direction then we would have been super rich.

I have seen a rich guy paying 10 thousand dollars to build some sort of social media army (for a politician, not crypto) and ever since that moment I am not even entirely sure if a person I see online is actually a person or if it is an army trying to convince me to do something. Which is why the price could either go up or down and we have no idea which one it will be, I still think that we are doing fine, look we are over 40k all over again and that is a great increase however that is not exactly mean it will continue like this neither.
4089  Economy / Economics / Re: Amateur Traders Cause Bubbles on: June 15, 2021, 08:45:42 PM
Newbies are the ones who take the fall in the whale game. If there is no new money coming in then how to do you explain the increasing market capitalization of bitcoin or for that sense altcoins too?

The growing interest in crypto added with the news media's sudden change of stance from "Why you should not invest in bitcoin" to "10 reasons for investing in bitcoin" - does bring in a lot of newbie meat into the market. Those who are unable to buy gold or stocks will try something alternative and the answer quickly ends up in bitcoin.

Point is that the whales need a place to dump their shitload. So the newbies are the ones. If they dont do the FOMO/FUD the cycles will become slowed. Lack of prior trading knowledge or knowledge of speculative markets makes them susceptible to manipulated markets.
This is not a ponzi scheme, you do not need new money to increase the price of bitcoin or any other coin, even the fact that people not willing to sell for cheaper is a good enough reason. So, let's say every single person who is selling right now decides not to and remove their orders then put that into 50k, suddenly the price is a lot higher and we didn't even spend a single dollar, which means price can go up without spending money, it is not always buyers that buy and increase the price, there are sellers that do not sell and hold as well.

If it was always "new money needed to keep increasing the price" then we would be a ponzi scheme and whenever new money didn't come then it would crash and burn, but we had many moments when new people didn't join and we were still doing fine, all within ourselves. So do not be worried if new people do not come constantly, we will be fine.
4090  Economy / Economics / Re: Bulgaria Government Shocked To Discover It Owns $3 Billion In Bitcoin on: June 15, 2021, 08:17:04 PM
Discovered? What the hell? First of all I think it is quite a shock that they only have like 10-15 billion dollars in debt, that is a very very small amount and if 3 billion dollar covers nearly 20% of your debt then you are doing something awesome, or they are such a small nation that they didn't even make that much of a debt, I do not know which is the case but I can say that they have a very tiny amount in debt that could be paid very easily, like even one big company selling stuff internationally can cover it and then some all by itself, that is a huge deal.

Secondly the fact that they just seized crypto and now suddenly richer as a whole nation is a great deal for them, but they probably knew what they were doing before they did it, they probably didn't "discover" it but took this seriously enough because they knew that they were getting a ton of money from this seizure.
4091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 15, 2021, 07:22:47 PM
That sounds like a way too big of a change. I am not against a bull run, it could happen but I do not think that we are going to end up with like 120k or something, that is just way too much for it to happen.

This is why I think even if a bull run comes the price will not break over 70k most probably, that is the range I am hoping for as the maximum, I do wish that it would become 120k, hell I want it to be a million dollars, but to be realistic 70k is the max I can see, few thousand up or down. That is not bad though, that is like 80% or so increase, who makes that kind of return in less than a half a year, that is like a huge return and I would be very happy to have that. I also believe that maybe there won't be any bull run, that is fine with me as well and I wouldn't mind that, I am not desperately waiting for bitcoin to go up, I can wait for years before it can break over 100k, there is no rush for me.
4092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: June 15, 2021, 05:05:11 PM
I am not saying that bnb can't go over 1000 soon, but it is not going to happen anytime soon, it will probably take some time. I think there is some time before we could see something like that. This is not BNB's fault though, they are doing fine, they are in fact holding quite well at 350+ dollar levels which is a strong support and I hope it will continue down that path for a very long time.

However one thing I am not entirely sure about is the fact that we are talking about the market being super low compared to what it was, it needs to be going super high before we can see BNB at 1000 dollars, like I am talking about at least bitcoin at 60k+ once again and last time it was there BNB was above 600, so it wasn't even 1000 at that moment but let's be optimistic and say that it will, we still need to reach that level and I do not see it anytime soon.
4093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best place for staking or yield farming on: June 14, 2021, 05:43:38 AM
By far the best place is pancakeswap, its seriously built for exactly this reason. I have never seen any place as great as pancakeswap for something like this. Sure uniswap and sushi and many others were there but pancakeswap is by far the best place, it is really an amazing place

I believe there is a good reason why people keep buying cake as well, normally I think you do not have to buy cake to participate, for example you could just do bnb-busd and get cake and sell it and that could be your profit, if you believe that bnb price will go up, and if you live in a nation where dollar is strong, you will make a profit just by holding them, but this way you are also profiting from holding them as well, its marvelous and incredible. Plus cake could go up which it does as well and that way you will make a great profit that way too it is really a perfect place.
4094  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 12, 2021, 08:07:25 AM
If you choose to play all your premium spins at once it doesn't show you the wheel. It is just a chart with all the prizes except the Amazon GC, iPhone, and Rolex. Although the odds are extremely low, I've also wondered why those top prizes are not included. It should be possible to win them because it is provably fair but how would I know if I did win one of those prizes?
The odds being higher would have mean that freebitcoin would have to give people rolex everyday all day. Think about it this way, you could get as much as ... 16 right? Well that means we are talking about 16 spins for each person with about over a thousand people, that is over 16 thousand rolls per day at max, and probably less because there hasn't been enough time but there will be a moment when tens of thousands of wheels will happen PER DAY, that is why it is low odds because in other case freebitco.in would have to give hundreds of rolex's per day and that just doesn't make sense financially.

This is why there is a low odd so that they would have a few at worst case for them (unless people all get lucky on same day) and that makes sense since it is a whole new thing and a few rolex would not bankrupt here, but hundreds of them per day certainly would hurt a ton.
4095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino on: June 12, 2021, 07:21:31 AM
During my time in the Bustadice campaign I got to know (and love Wink ) the "Slow Withdraw" at Bustadice. Instead of an instant withdraw, you could choose a withdraw that could last up to 24 hours. Bustadice collected all withdrawals and transferred them in one batch, which made the fees much cheaper (5-10x cheaper).

Maybe such a system would also make sense at Roobet, as a user you only have the problem of having to wait a little longer for your valuable coins.
If they can wait for long enough to cover the fees issue than it would be much easy. But most players who want to withdraw their profits usually pays high fees to confirm the transactions which automatically increases the current fees and all have to make that fees in order to confirm their transaction. But yes it is good idea if the casino clears all the transactions in one batch to different address making fees relatively low and solving the fees problem for small olayeriad well. But nobody want to wait because it can take longer than 24 hours also and we need to have patience for that which many lacks.
Having some sort of dynamic fee is also a very good thing when we are talking about a profit for the gamblers as well, but because sometimes it is higher people do complain about it. If roobet made it a set fix price then you would have to pay that even when mempool is open and empty, which means roobet would profit from you paying that much and when it is very expensive you would profit while casino makes a loss just from people withdrawing which is like why would a business do that? So at the end of the day when it is dynamic it is better because that allows the price to change based on mempool and sometimes you get high and sometimes you get low and that way you continue to gamble without worrying that you would lose a certain amount just to withdraw.

I personally still prefer dynamic because I know that I am not getting screwed on the withdrawal fee's that way.
4096  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin (crypto) worth anything at all?? on: June 12, 2021, 04:30:27 AM
The weird thing is, we could say this for all currencies in it is reality. Sure we are not saying it because there are federal banks and governments provide some sort of "promise" that it worths something, but really do they? I mean think about it, at the end of the day dollar is something USA government tells us to use and that's it, that is the only thing that makes sense for people to use it, if everyone got together and said that "we no longer believe dollar has any value" we could do that, it would become zero over night, we are not doing that just because one government promises us, that's it.

This is why I believe bitcoin has a value and will always have a value because people say so, there is nobody that promises a value to it, we put that value in bitcoin and we promise each other and we see the value change every day constantly as well.
4097  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump regrets not banning twitter as he hails Nigerian government for doing so on: June 11, 2021, 08:38:22 PM
I am not entirely sure if Trump really cares about losing the election as much as he cares about being banned from twitter. Honestly twitter was a place where he could do whatever he wants and say whatever he wants and gets a ton of love from people, or even hate but he was always in the news and he was always getting attention and as a narcissistic person it was always known that he loves to get fans or haters but at least some attention.

Being president was a ton of work and he may not like that, dude had so much responsibility during his presidential years, I personally would love to be a president but I know that I would also would love to get rid of being president as soon as I became one, he probably feels the same way, like a weight is lifted off his back. However twitter was something else, he could do that while in the toilet, it wasn't work, he said whatever he wants and got love, so I think he might be more upset about twitter ban then presidential loss.
4098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite NFT? on: June 11, 2021, 08:12:50 PM
I still believe that my favorite is yet to come. NFT right now is useless, people buy them and hold them with the hopes of selling for more later. Now there are NFT projects with a use case, where you can either increase your profit, or you can fight them or whatever but in the end we are talking about something that is not profitable to keep doing, people rather profit by buying and holding and selling it later on. Most NFT's became less valuable than the gas fee which is the biggest problem those projects have.

One day there will be a project with NFT where you use it and everyone will go crazh over it, when the community wants to USE your NFT then you really hit the jackpot and in that case the token price will go super high because if you can use it then you won't sell it and that will make the price go up a ton in the end. I know it will happen, it just needs some more time for someone very talented to do that.
4099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too blind to see on: June 11, 2021, 06:49:42 PM
Well, we do not know if you are wrong or not. Nobody knows what is going to happen because if we did we would be acting accordingly. I always say this when people talk about the future price potential "if you KNOW what can happen, sell everything you have including your clothes, have ZERO possession and sell them all and long/short bitcoin with 100x leverage and you can be richer than you ever dreamed of and will never have to work again", why do people do not do that? Because nobody really knows what bitcoin will do.

Maybe you are right, maybe price will go down even more, maybe we will not recover, or maybe we will not do that bad, maybe we will go back up to over 40k and stay there, I really do not know what will happen because I just do not have any idea at all on what is going to happen. Act as if you know, get ready as if you have no idea.
4100  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 11, 2021, 06:22:43 PM
Just what I meant, every stupid unnecessary casino game gets announced, but important VIP stuff doesn't.

Great way to treat your customers!
I wouldn't be so harsh towards them because new games are important as well, they are not unnecessary games they are actually something very valuable to any casino because the more games you have for people to gamble means the more reasons to gamble in a place and that is why I think they should announce these things and add more and more games (and hopefully more sports as well for the book).

However I do agree about the VIP stuff, the lackluster PR stake has became a kind of a big deal in the recent months, I have talked about how they are focusing on whales multiple times but people ignored and the more we ignore the more they will focus on whales and forget about us, hell even the low level VIP is getting screwed these days. Basically they should announce games but they should not change anything for VIP neither, so I agree with half of your statement and disagree with other half.
