Only the digest? I'd like to store actual full documents. Say, my encrypted wallet backup.
4084  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Here's where I spew my accusations against MPOE. All are welcome. on: May 22, 2013, 04:48:52 AM
So what are "gracious donations to shareholders"? They are bets that are placed when the a bet was still open, but get's closed before your bet TX is confirmed by miners. So say you are about to bet 10 BTC on "Yes" for "North Korea will launch more missiles during May". If North Korea launches the missiles while you're sending the TX for the bet, BitBet.us will just keep the Bitcoins and not return them.

In other words they're bets made by people after the event, trying to suck some money out of the "poor suckers" who bet before them. Herp derp, so sad that they end up short.
There has being times where bitcoin-qt fucks up and sends it with an improper fee, so it pretty much never gets confirmed.

Also, you mean if the bet is resolved when your TX isn't confirmed yet, right?

Alternatively, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy into BTCINVEST which has some level of diversification or put your coins in CoinLenders.

He took me for 17LTC tonight, in an exchange for DGC.

I was being lazy, and didn't check here first so it is my own fault.

He seems to be creeping around the alternate currency forum doing "trades" and stealing LTC.

I hope this is a heads up for everyone else.  dont do any business with him.

-Brian
Post proof please (screenshots, TXIDs, PMs). I can leave negative feedback for him which should show up to everyone.

Let the witch hunting begin.
Nah, someone can make a few sockpuppets and leave BS feedback for someone they don't like, but it won't show up unless you have trusted them (directly or indirectly).

I'd like to see a list of everyone I indirectly trust, or at least a way to see how something became trusted (ie RandomUser was trusted by Someguy who you trust) to make it easy to remove people that are trusting the wrong people.
4090  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: May 22, 2013, 04:08:39 AM
It's the time for another report and dividends again Smiley ASICMINER has continued to rally which was somewhat unexpected. We also has some unused coins - one option is to pay it out as dividends to shareholders, other is to just invest them. Thoughts?

I'd also appreciate it if you could leave me a rating using the new trust feature on bitcointalk. Just click on the trust link to my left.

Also, you can get a negative available balance on bitfunder Tongue

Revenue
ASICMINER dividends: 10.013 BTC
BTCQUICK: 0.037 BTC
G.SDICE dividends: 0.025 BTC

TOTAL: 10.075 BTC
Paid as dividends: 9.0675 BTC
Dividends per share: You will be issueing (9.06750000 / 4000) = 0.00226687 per share. Final Total: 9.06748000."

Assets
Not traded on an exchange:
203 ASICMINER (directly) - 501.41 BTC
116 NASTYFANS "seats" - 32.48 BTC

BitFunder

48 G.ASICMINER-PT shares: 118.56 BTC
197,899 btcQuick: 13.88 BTC

Bitfunder total value: 136.31 BTC

Btcjam secured loan (remaining): 3 BTC
CoinLenders 20 BTC loan: 10.24 BTC

4091  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: May 22, 2013, 03:10:47 AM
No, interest is not paid from new deposits. When you withdraw the coins may have came from someone who deposited - coins are coins, but we don't operate a ponzi scheme.

Like I already said, we do quite a few very short term (week or two) loans where it's 62% APR (assuming full usage).

I do invest in ASICMINER, but that's not everything. The current situation is that even if I lose an amount of BTC or assets equal to our current liability, I can still pay everyone back. The question comes down to trust, and you need to make your own judgment on that  Smiley
4092  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Inaba on: May 22, 2013, 12:07:06 AM
No, I see 0 -0 +0. Someone who trusts you (or nobody and theymos trusts you) will see it.
4093  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Inaba on: May 21, 2013, 11:41:42 PM
you guys are doing this all wrong.  There is a new section in your avatar for reputation.

I have the proud privilege of being the first poster in Inaba's "official" reputation here on this forum...

Click the red reputation under the glorious bastard's avatar here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206304.20

Only provide facts, we don't want to lose the AWESOME new rep tool.  (and if you like that I am taking it upon myself to notify the world of inaba's inaccuracy's hit me up as +1 a few posts down on that same page...  I'm trying to earn my reputation by doing the right thing and telling noobs of the dangers that they may not see on day one).

FUCKBFL

Only you and people who trusts you sees the red warning. The exception is if your trust list is blank (trust is different from feedback), you automatically trust theymos then and theymos trusted people (which I think I'm the only one that has being actually leaving some feedback).
4094  Economy / Services / Re: Casino Game Developer Needed! *Partnership* on: May 21, 2013, 11:33:16 PM
I'll do it for 20% + 9 BTC or 14 BTC. PHP or Node. Maintenance for 30 days (no serious developer will offer free indefinite maintenance). Will be provably fair, not junk, and not cause you to lose all your coins due to double spending.

What do you mean a hosting and security person? You don't need either one of those, I'm happy to host what I write on my server, and there is not much security you need for a blockchain based game. But if you still want one for some odd reason, I've found security vulnerabilities in bitcointalk.org (the site you're on right now), bitfunder.com, btct.co, btc-escrow.co (or whatever that "bank" is called), and I run coinlenders & coinchat.
4095  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: May 21, 2013, 11:14:34 PM
I don't think we are going to see an externally insured bitcoin storage service anytime soon that also pays out interest. What I can say is that trust is built up over time, and don't put more in than what you're comfortable with. Pretty basic stuff.
4096  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace trust on: May 21, 2013, 10:54:20 PM
This could be an issue for people like me that "police" the lending forums.  Am I going to wind up with a large negative trust score just for stopping people from getting scammed?

That's what I was wondering too. BTW, I +Trust'd you Cheesy
+trusted you both!

Is there a list of default / theymos trusts?
4099  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 21, 2013, 12:10:02 PM

Uh, no.  Maybe it's only in certain forum themes?
I gave you feedback dooglus (and some other bitcoin services).

Maybe there's a bug where if you have feedback it doesn't show up? It's really buggy, there's a security vulnerability and the feedback profile links is broken.
4100  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace trust on: May 21, 2013, 12:04:22 PM
The user for a trust message also seems to link to the user you're looking up, instead of the user who left the feedback.
