Some people don't consider Ponzi, HYIP sites as thieves, but as a ''gambling, luck'' site, because who is investing on those sites know about the risks and are just trying their luck, to make profit before the site vanishes. There seems to be more scam sites are coming these days with tempting offers that hard to resist especially to the newbies. One must be smarter in choosing an online investment to avoid being scammed. I 've been a victim to some scam sites that offers instant profits.
Yes, I was looking today some ads on faucet sites and there are a lot of scammers, ponzies, hyips... Too many sites offering 0.1%-0.15% interest hourly, new scam cloud mining offering ROI in 2-5 months, wow! For a newbie it can look the wonderful world of BTCs, but to ''resist'' the tentation, they should just think twice, and they will reach to the conclusion that if they send money to the scheme, they will just lose money, and it won't bring them any benefits. I think the number of people investing on these sites decreased from the last year to now, because people are aware about it. |

Altcoin mining and altcoin trading is also a good investment. Most of them dont care about the altcoins but convert them to bitcoin and increase their stock of bitcoins. This is one thing that can get affected if altcoins cease to exist and the economy might get affected by it.
Again many altcoins are pump and dump schemes and the people should be careful of trading/investing in them.
I think before investing in an altcoin one should consider these thing, 1. not yet hyped or pumped 2. have good solid dedicated dev 3. have great roadmap 4. profitable in the long term And I agree that bitcoin will be affected once altcoin ceased to exist because this altcoin simply gives a demand pressure to bitcoin because most altcoin can be bought only by BTC. I'm not sure it's a good deal to mine those coins... They don't have the same stability, popularity and "tradition" of Bitcoin, making this kind of investment very risk. You can start mining it today, and after 1-2 months, the coin price downs half of it price. So, you lost a lot of time and energy mining it and had loss in the end. I think it can worth if it's done as an experiment. Don't put a lot of money on it, just use part of your money to invest in alt-coins and alt-coin's mining. Thats like bread without crust? Or milk with curds? or how about a car but no gas! Nahh, I think BTC could survive without altcoins, one thing doesn't fully need the another... Lol you cannot easily earn 2 bitcoin in only one week, if you don't have a capital then do some task or do freelance job if you have some skills you can offer it and make sure the payments is bitcoin, after you got some bitcoin then do trading but it's risky if you are not smart enough better to learn first before you doing it. Totally agree with you brother as we all know that if we are looking to earn money then trading is not a good option as it has risks to loose your money as well. There are lot of online jobs such as captcha filling job or freelancing available which pays through bitcoins also. You can go for it and earn a lot of money from there as well. Captcha filling jobs don't give good amounts of money in return. People are killing each other there to earn $0.60 hourly (luckly!). Freelancing jobs can be better if you have skills to apply, hard anyway, because on the internet there are few kinds of jobs available (most of them related to informatic), and there are a lot of expertises looking for these jobs, and one giving lower prices than other to get the job. It's not so wonderful as it looks. To earn money only (real big money) is so hard as in real life. Maybe one or another lucky guy can find the secret of success and start earning quietly by himself without tell others about it. |

Bitcoin is already spread throughout the world. It's know in Europe, both Americas, Africa, Asia. What do we want more? This is the huge success, people all around the world use it. Maybe it will not become so accepted as fiat currencies like dollar or euro but it's on the good way.
Bitcoin still not fully success and i think we are still few user who are using bitcoin more adoption are need to be increase more people to use bitcoin.. The price is keeping increase because of news in paris.. we already using it world wide but there are still few stores online are accepting bitcoin.. although bitcoin can't help me very often with my daily needs but it has a lot use when it comes to some thing that you need to pay monthly and also I can have a grocery supplies bought using bitcoin. if only I can earn enough amount of bitcoin such as 0.03 per day maybe It can support not only my daily needs but weekly.
I would like BTCs could reach to more places, so it could help more than now. But as many stores don't accept the currency, it's necessary to exchange it to local currency before using it to buy stuff, principally on real life. Anyway, it helps a lot on daily life, because it's an extra investment, you put some part of your money into BTCs, wait some time, and your money increased! i do not know how you define poor people or a poor country, but you have some misconceptions about that. you do not need to be educated to use those technical gadgets and you do not need much money to buy them. i think you are thinking of the super extremely poor, but they are just a minority.
You are absolutely spot on. Nowadays, smartphones are available for just $45 or $50 apiece (used smartphones are available for as little as $10). The data packs are also getting very cheap. Those who can't afford these will be a very small minority. IMO, 99% of the world population can afford a smartphone. But it's not the same thing. You can have a cheap one, but you won't be able to access all the good (and heavy) features of most expensive and elaborated smartphones and any other electronic thing. I have here a cheap table, and it's very weak and it's just useful for access some light sites on the internet (those without a lot of banners, ads...). Surely, the new times are better than before if we think about technology and accessibility, but the poor countries and people still don't have access to the best featuers of our time. |
