4081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 09, 2019, 11:07:56 AM
learning how to handle your emotions is the most important part when it comes to gambling. i have lost so much when i was mad cause of some loses and trying to get it back fast... in the end i have lost everything. if i had stopped playing and going on with my strategies later... i think i would have  been more succesful.  Undecided

Yes. It is very easy advice to give, but not easy to follow.

We have heard from many pro-bettors that one of the hardest things is when you have a losing run a, and you start to think "what am I doing wrong?".... but you don't even know what you were doing right, when you are winning!

So "going back to the correct strategy" can be difficult, because many don't have a clearly defined strategy... they bet more on feeling.. but then how do you know when you are doing it wrong? Tricky... but then if it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Obviously this ins't easy at all, otherwise, these gambling site are already bankrupt now.
That's why a lot of people have tried and challenge themselves because if you are successful in gambling, this will become a lucrative job of making money.

When I was new, I also start my journey here, I was ambitious when I was new but later realize it's not easy as I think.
4082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you interested in IEO? How about your opinion? on: September 09, 2019, 10:51:40 AM
Most of the IEO result will show up on the last Quarter of this year. so until the result comes and whether it will be a good or a bad one, base on how many IEO's will become successful surely there will be another IEO trend next year.

But if most of the project that offers IEO will fail then just like ICO the trend will be subsided next year and maybe another method of investment will also appear.

People are not looking at the long term success of IEO, they want a short term success, I mean very short because the moment it's trading live in an exchange, they are already expecting of a profit and getting out so they can again invest in new IEO.

If we are looking for long term success in IEO, we can also include those projects that are still existing but has not grown yet since the hype has transferred in IEO and bitcoin continues to increase its dominance in the market.
4083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 08, 2019, 11:39:13 PM
Who's a fan of Dwayne Wade and Lebron at the same time? these two really has a close bond together.

--> https://www.nba.com/article/2019/09/08/dwyane-wade-los-angeles-work-out-train-lebron-james?collection=news

Yeah,  read this article also and wade still have that passion in him because although he has already retired, he still bond with NBA friends playing basketball. I also read one article about JR Smith practicing with Lebron, I was thinking these two were not friends anymore after Smith did in the last NBA finals against the Warriors, LOL... but to be honest, I think JR smith deserves a second chance, if he will be able to play wit the Lakers, it should be nice because he is a deadly shooter especially when in rhythm.
4084  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 08, 2019, 11:25:42 PM
I don't know if these control systems really help protect honest traders. It seems to me that not only are they useless, but they expose them to the theft of data and documents by the bad guys, while the scammers quietly continue to make their own comfort.
It suppose to help the traders because that's the purpose of KYC, but when the exchange is irresponsible, it will not be able to serve the purpose.
Once the exchange requires for the KYC, this means they are required also by the government to impose the same, and when they mess up with the data, the government are looking into this as an offense and they will have to be dealt accordingly based on the rules and regulations impose to them as well.

We don't need to worry, the government are punishing those corrupt exchanges, even how big they are currently.
4085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: September 07, 2019, 10:48:31 PM
Avoid projects that are not transparent with their team including using anonymous on their website.
or the use of cartoons in Team I think is bad and can not be trusted. The team must be active in several social media and they have clear identities such as linkedin.
Not all of them being transparent looks trusted, some of the scammers use others identity which it looks open and traceable even we search it on the internet. We should not be confident of this transparency, we need to spend more time searching and do have time to reviews feedbacks.

Remember that we are in the internet era, we can make some things impossible to possible, do the editing job and copy others personal details. This it has that we can't guarantee, yet we need also to give some trust with them and that is why crypto investment is a risky thing.
4086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 07, 2019, 10:18:13 PM
Bitcoin, the crypto currency, has become huge in popularity over the recent years.

One of the main features i like about bitcoins is its transactions are anonymous. But that makes me wonder if a time will come when it will be banned worlwide. It has started in many countries.

In many countries??, it should be some countries, the countries that banned them are not too many and has no negative impact even if they ban Bitcoin, as long as big companies like Facebook, Amazon and Mastercard Cryptocurrency are getting in, we are ok and we are moving fine, and we are heading to be the biggest community in the internet.
These big and known companies are helping crypto but yet to come that they are also creating their won currency just like what Facebook did Libra coin.
The massive and continuous growth of Bitcoin users will lead for other many(some) countries who banned now to show some interest with crypto.

Of course, we need to understand also why they never accept it or banned in their place.
Not necessarily we condemn them cause they are doing also what is right and what might give betterness to their citizens for some instances that some people use crypto for fraud and scam which might be a reason why they never open for Bitcoin.
4087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Spreadsheet with new bounty campaigns! on: September 07, 2019, 01:29:00 PM
Thanks for making an effort, actually there's a lot of members here who makes a spreadsheet to summarize the list of bounty campaigns and I hope to see everyone continues to update the sheet even if the market is not attractive anymore.

They say bounty hunting is not profitable anymore, but with this list, I think it would help to verify that statement.
In the list, there are new unfamiliar bounty managers, I can say that because I only recognize Arteezy.rtx which was an old manager even during the time of the popularity of ICO.
4088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 07, 2019, 01:16:39 PM
At this moment, I think there will be a comeback with the altcoins. Bitcoin dominance is at its peak right now and some of the altcoins right now have no volume on exchanges already. As I said long time ago, crypto market is "Survival of the fittest" where the strongest will remain and the weak ones will be considered dead coin.
There is a big competition in the altcoins market, there is a increasing number of altcoins that is happening so that will make the old coins obsolete if they are not trading in exchanges with great volume.

I have a lot of altcoins in my wallet that I believe has a little chance to recover, but I have not choice but to continue holding it because it's impossible to sell it when the price is almost worthless, and not only that, the volume is gone. Everyone is hoping that the 2017 year like will come back, so they can sell all their shit coins or correct the wrong decision making last bull run.
4089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 07, 2019, 01:03:41 PM
I don't know how strong current USA team is.USA in basketball are usually the best but i think these players are playing together like a one team first time in his life
In theory USA could be better every game but it is just theory
Very interesting tournament. My favorites to gold is Spain and Serbia.USA will be is in semifinal can't imagine different and we will see what iUSA team is worth then

People love USA no matter who their current roster are, it's just that they are so popular because they have been dominating the worldwide sports competition particularly this FIBA would cup.

Now they are playing against the greece and it looks like USA soon will have a double digit lead.
People think that Greece can compete because they have the MVP in them, but let's see how this will end up.

I'm monitoring the score now here, https://www.flashscore.com/team/greece/ba2gXuFg/
4090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will bounce back to $600 or back below $100 ? on: September 06, 2019, 11:30:14 PM
You're right. In 2020, the fate of ethereum will be decided. At least apparently ethereum will become even better and Your investment will be justified.
I'm hopeful for that year. If that year won't be the best for bitcoin and Ethereum, we just have to wait a little bit longer for about another year to see the impact of the market. ETH will be having that positive move and bouncing back to $600 and more than that is going to be pretty easy and chilling for it.
I'll keep my ETHs until those precious moments.
I'm hearing a lot of prediction last year that ETH will rise again in 2019, but it seems it's not happening this year yet, so another prediction for next year for  those who are bullish on ETH. That's normal I guess, we are here and our only game is the prediction game, if ETH won't be able to bounce back this year, there's always next year and even the following years to make it happen, as long as ETH is here to stay and will not go an exit scam, we always have a chance to enjoy its good price in the future again.

I'm pretty sure everyone already miss the $1,000 of ETH, but we have understand it's not everyday is a successful day for ETH, sometimes we are going in many adversities and we need to stay calm and continue putting our trust with ETH.

FUDs are everywhere but it will not move or shake us if we are updated of the development inside.
4091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: September 06, 2019, 11:23:33 PM
I think there is no problem if the ICO has a very large round because maybe their project requires a lot of funds so they give a very long duration to raise money hoping that many investors' funds will come in.
The only reason why they have multiple rounds is to raise more funds or to raise at least the soft cap when the amount raise is not enough.
But, I am not seeing success from the ICO this year anymore, that's looking at the majority of the projects and it seems like time has come already that those who wants to run a crowdsale has to already ensure they invested a funds on their own first, which I think would make the project more reliable especially if we can verity the authenticity of the amount invested.
4092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 06, 2019, 10:27:30 PM
Yes of course but only those that has what it takes to come back. What I meant is, altcoins which are valuable and have something to offer unlike the hype ones. Also, the nature of the current market I exposing many altcoins now and investors are getting wise the more; that is taking profit at the appropriate time and going back to Bitcoin. I thinks it wise to hold more of Bitcoin and only few altcoins like ETH or altcoins that have a product which will constantly keep the platform valuable.
We will see if shit coins has no chance anymore when the market will recover and in the bullish state again.

Right now, I agree with your suggestion to focus on bitcoin and some solid altcoins, but I might consider some low marketcap coins which I think has a little potential to grow because they are undervalued and if I'm lucky, I could make a good amount of profit, after all we are just gambling here as we never know what the future will bring.
4093  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 06, 2019, 10:18:01 PM
I do not know that KYC is profitable for crypto, which is clear KYC only verifies our data for withdrawals from websites and I think KYC is not important and this is just a trend so KYC is used everywhere.
I dont how KYC makes profit for investors. Dont misunderstand the reason for KYC, you can do a little search on it, it will help you. The idea of KYC is to have personal details of individuals submitted to prevent laundering, bank's involvement in any form.
KYC is only profitable to the exchange if they will sell your data, lol.. that's the worst case scenario and probably exchange that would do that is planning an exit scam.

Profitability has no relation to KYC as it's just a requirement for people to be able to invest and trade in a certain platform, and normally, those company who requires KYC are companies that are regulated under the control of the government, and that's something we need to verify first before submitting for KYC as that's an important information that we cannot just give away to untrustworthy company.
4094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: September 06, 2019, 10:09:48 PM
I think Ethereum and Bitcoin are way too different for things to be put so simply. I am also an Ethereum fan, but facts are facts and Bitcoin has the largest development team and the largest/strongest network, yes, it is a bit outdated, but as it aims to be a store of value, that is just what it needs to offer... Ethereum is more about blockchain being put into practical use... and wheter we like it or not, BTC is the closest to true "digital money"
I agree with you, it's always the network of people is the reason why bitcoin is successful over any coins in the market.
The competition is only possible in the altcoins market because bitcoin alone can beat the entire altcoins with its dominance of 70%.

People may change their minds and will choose to invest in altcoins but in terms of consistency, it is still bitcoin which is the most heavily invested.
I witness the time when BTC dominance was down to 30% IIRC, and altcoins pump hard at that time, but look where they are now.
4095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: September 06, 2019, 08:38:50 AM
being smart means you know how to read rules and you will know how operate the gambling game . also smart people makes mathematical forumulas that they can use to take advantage   . being wise means you will know how to stop on the right moment  let say when you already win alot  .  these two traits can be considered as two of the hundreds secrets that gambling have  .
Not bad.
Being smart and wise is the best weapon of being gamblers, gambling is very risky and sometimes will lead you to a scam if you don't choose very well a reputable gambling platform. Do some research first before having a deposit and don't be a fool with high giving rewards, they are most likely turn to scam or shady one.
But in gambling, there is no secret on it, just pure luck for based on luck feature game.

We always want to play smart because that gives us a chance to win, but being smart does not mean that we will all win in gambling, sometimes we just need to be smart in order to enjoy gambling and minimize our loses, meaning, we are in control of ourselves and we play with discipline.

Whether we like it or not, most of us will loss in gambling because that's the reality, the winning rate is very low that's what most gambling sites are profitable.
4096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: September 06, 2019, 08:13:14 AM
I doubt if they sell users personal data. For big exchange, how they make their money is in the volume of trades per day. If they have active traders who make active trades on a daily basis, when it gets compounded you see its huge. But when you make reference to individual transactions fees that's when it seems small.
Trading fees is clearly the bread and butter of an exchange and they need more clients in order for them to earn good trading fees as their income.
Selling clients personal information is them destroying their reputation, no exchange would do that.

Look at Binance, they don't sell KYC information from clients but the data were leaked, and because they area a big exchange, everyone knows what happen, they maybe still one of the best exchange now but their negligence will remain forever in the minds of the people, if only there's a big exchange close to Binance quality, people would surely leave this exchange.
4097  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: September 05, 2019, 11:50:36 PM
Crypto currency crime rate on the increase is a major cause prolonging the bull run since 2017, but I feel the figure is exagerated as I tends to wonder how the data was collated, regulation in the cryptocurrency space is the solution to crime menace.
There's no answer but only regulation, we need some strict regulation with big punishment so scammers will not live freely in the space.
With regulation, we can restore the reputation of the crypto space and we will be able to attract new investors to put their money for the future of crypto.

It has been proven during in the previous years how attractive crypto is when it comes to investment, but this attraction also result to big scams due to lack of knowledge by the investors and the scammers talking advantage on the immaturity of the investors. We can't force people to educate themselves before investing, but we can make this crypto space a better world with less scams happening.
4098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: September 05, 2019, 11:27:09 PM
Its not surprising that Anthony Joshua is ahead of Andy Ruiz even when Andy Ruiz won the last fight. Many are still thinking he just got lucky on the last fight but I watched it over and over again, Andy Ruiz can stand toe to toe, it just happened the Anthony Joshua got rocked and Andy Ruiz followed up.

Odds from Nitrogensports
Anthony Joshua -308
Andy Ruiz +244

Great odds for Andy Ruiz and I think that would not change because despite AJ lose in the past fight, people still think he can come back and beat this fat guy, actually I think the looks and built of Andy Ruiz is what people are looking and he got disrespected on that.

The line now is what people's perception on the coming fight, so it's obvious that people believes the Andy Ruiz was just lucky in the last fight.
4099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming Financially Free With Bitcoin on: September 05, 2019, 10:55:51 PM
This is really clever and very helpful. You have done well with gathering all this info and putting it all together. Maybe you could get others to invest with you with such a great sales pitch as that.

We can always follow this if we have struggle in making our own financial plans, this is investing and then diversifying after the first investment will succeed, which I think OP's plan is achievable. In every business, we always start with planning and OP just showed his detailed plan, the next phase which he should do effectively is to implement that plan, well, selling at the right time is easy if an investor has the discipline.

Hopefully this thread is still alive when the time comes so we can all see this as a living evidence of a fulfilled plan.
4100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strength of Bitcoin on: September 05, 2019, 11:58:37 AM
When they can made company such like amazon and facebook aware, bitcoin influence really strong.
So why are you still doubt about bitcoin strength ?
For me, they are amazing till end of time

We are gonna see big success in the future, bitcoin will become mainstream adoption because it's people who have power here, it's transparent and it cannot be monopolize with mainstream adoption happening.

Adoption has already started and the fundamentals are good, like this one great news for this week.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/burger-king-lets-you-pay-your-way-in-germany-with-bitcoin

It's just one of the big company that starting to adopt with bitcoin and I believe more and more will adopt and this chain will become bigger and bigger.
I am also hoping that someday, amazon will start adopting bitcoin but I'm sure facebook is already adopting because they have plans to launch their Libra coin which is a coin of their own, it's already tantamount to adopting with bitcoin.
