When we say sports games or sports betting, I don't think it is paralyzed at a time like this. Because we can classify online games in desktop or mobile as ESports, meaning to say that there is still a way for gamblers to bet on their favorite teams related to sports. One example is CS:GO, games are still continuous despite of the crisis because in the first place, gamers didn't need to interact personally to play, so as the gamblers to bet.
The majority of the gamblers are betting on major sports, like NBA, NHL, and NFL.. think CS:GO and other online game are just a small market compared to the physical sports I've mentioned.

Though, traditional sports such as basketball, soccer, and other team sport game isn't available and is understandable.

Even if there is no gamble, they will still not be available for now until the world are still in fear on the thread of the covid-19.
4082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: April 24, 2020, 01:13:15 PM
I do agree, the price of Bitcoin is increasing, but we are getting close to halving and what are the chances for the Bitcoin whether price of Bitcoin will increase during at the time of halving.
Bitcoin will increase if there is a hype, but it seems it's not happening yet, bitcoin has a good increase today but we are still at over $7k, still we haven't break the highest this year.

16 days left - https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-clock/..... .

Bitcoin is still not bullish, so I don't expect a significant rise.

Compared with previous halving the price of Bitcoin decreases and now with the effect of Covid-19 there is a chance to decrease its price.

I think the previous halving, bitcoin has rise.

Seems lime TRON is a good option ,but i will consider this one after i accumulate those first 2 mentioned above and also i hope that there will enough Budget at least before the Bitcoin Halving happens Next month.

TRON is a major altcoin, though it dropped on its ranking but it's trading volume is still impressive.
It belongs to the top 10 now in terms of trading volume, so definitely we can expect some big pump in case the market will begin to be bullish again.

I remember in the past that TRON is one of the tokens that are good in hyping their investors, for sure they will still do the same and the time will eventually come.
4084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 24, 2020, 12:14:08 PM
The global lockdown and the other consequences of the shutdown affected badly to the gambling industry because of the decreasing sources of income. Some gamblers see the passive income in online gambling platforms while others look for the excitement due to the dull life in quarantine.
I agree with you, although I don't see the statistics that would prove our opinion, but I think this is really happening as it's a basic thing that would happen.
People are not making money due to lock down and we need money as our bankroll in gambling, therefore people would choose their priority which is their needs rather than gamble it and have fun or risk it hoping it will grow.
4085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 24, 2020, 11:06:18 AM
It's too early to judge right now, blockburn price have drop alot buy I'm curious about future listing since they claim they are going big exchange in a month or two, let's wait and see
I joined their bounty, they changed the plan and delayed the distribution within the next 3 months to wait for the price to recover. But given the current state of the project, I think they will never distribute it, the project is really dead
That's sad to hear, but actually mate, that has been the trend already, most of the projects that are born at this bearish season do struggle, look at the most established altcoins in the market, they still struggle at the moment, just don't expect too much, if you don't trust the project, then just let it go and look for other bounty to promote, that's the life of the bounty hunters, sometimes we fail, sometimes we succeed, but at least we don't spend for it.
4086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 24, 2020, 10:48:46 AM
I honestly  like the debate between Lebron James and Kevin Durant because these two are really rivals, well, one on one, KD can't win against Lebron as Lebron is stronger and can defend him, the only reason why Lebron does not score sometimes is because he will get doubled while I am not seeing KD getting doubled most of the time compared to Lebron.

We should have a poll for this debate.  Grin
4087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: April 24, 2020, 09:49:56 AM
Why do you have to send it to the address, just let that stay in your wallet, who knows when the bull run comes that coin will pump, then you will enjoy a good profit, you know regret will always come in the end, but we know this market is very unpredictable, if in the past, dead coins pump, I think it could possibly happen this coming bull run.
4088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Usage By Businesses on: April 24, 2020, 09:29:17 AM
Using blockchain has its advantage, but one should be educated enough to use blockchain properly, and the fact that the adoption rate is still low until now, I think we need more time for people to truly believe on blockchain.

As we can see, there's a lot of project in the crypto space but most of them failed, reason is because people are not ready to embrace yet.
In terms of business, that still depend on the nature of the business, but using blockchain could really help to ease the business operation IMO.
4089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 23, 2020, 01:44:56 PM
The virus will stay for months or years so I think it is best to play without the audience if they are going to continue in a few months(without the vaccine). What I am thinking is the safety of the players. Basketball is a contact sport. Would all the players self isolate after playing with other teams? Would a team all stay in a quarantine place(for example) during the season. How would they know that a player doesn't have the virus, would they get tested once in a while. Because if one player has the virus, the NBA will be fuck.
If they have a test a test kit that will automatically tell the result after every test, I think this would work. .
What the NBA has to do is just to test everyone who will enter the court and doing that every game is a must, so this way they can play without audience but they can certainly give entertainment to the whole world, this is a big move already, hopefully they'll realize this if they ever plan of this one.

I think that was discussed here before.

It will be time consuming and also expensive if they will test them over and over again every game.
Plus, you will need to test the staff too.
Cameraman, floor polishers, etc...
All of them must be clear with the virus and this will happen every game. Instead of having profits, they will just bury themselves with all the expense.

I have no idea how much they will spend for every test but I'm sure they will be able to sell more through live streaming if they will ever resume the NBA. Maybe we can try to compute if we know the price per test kit,  so we will be able to determine how much they will spend versus the amount they will earn, and for business like NBA which is a big business, they will surely adjust their rate to still remain profitable, so I don't think they will operate with a lose if the plan will be realize.

I really love sports betting that's why I missed it, but I would tell you that I am not addicted to it.

Right now since I can't gamble on sports, I just relax and spend my time in a productive way, I'm sure the time will come that I'll start burning money again in sports but this time really gives me a time to breath and evaluate what I have done in the past, I'm just hoping when I resume gambling, I will start winning, lol.

4092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin will never fall? on: April 23, 2020, 12:06:51 PM
Having the right mindsets and appreciates potentials will allow you to survive from this industry.
For bitcoin, we should put all our trust as bitcoin will not likely to fall, why? because it's bitcoin who is holding this market as altcoins do literally rely on bitcoin's success, if bitcoin will fail, the whole market will fail, that's the simple logic I believe why I hold bitcoin for long term.

Trust with precaution since eventhough bitcoin is trusted and strong still the volatility so we might lose some value from the dumps happening but if we are smart to play the market then might we will earn with it, but if we talk about its strength for sure this is solid since the foundation of bitcoins is pretty much strong and the people behind and the whales for sure will not let this down since many people earning with bitcoin technology.

As for me, I could trust bitcoin blindly as I have already made good profit with bitcoin.
Whatever I invested now is already part of my profit and I am willing to gamble that until the end with my only strategy which is to "HODL".
4093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 23, 2020, 11:19:43 AM
I already wrote above that I am not an expert in this field. But I personally believe that no one can be cured by force against their will. You can take a person against their will to various clinics, treat and control them. But if the person does not want to recover and get rid of the attachment to drugs, alcohol, gambling, then he will return to his previous occupation after some time after treatment.
But if a gambler is already out of his mind, he will have to be force to go under rehab to be cured, and though it could be against his will, but eventually he will realize that he needs to cooperate to live a normal life. Problem with addicted gamblers is they are not thinking straight anymore, so sometimes a force is needed for them to separate from gambling which is the source of their addiction.
4094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 22, 2020, 01:35:54 PM
as you enter the cryptocurrency world you should have known it for its volatility. well your premise is the exact thing what crypto is differ from other stocks available to invest. once youve accept the volatility of this market then you will be more careful when to enter and to exit. for me we are at the bottom right now and it is the best time to invest now.

actually the bottom for btc is last time when it was down under 6k to 5k but lately the price already recovered but still it was still cheap and its still a good buy today  .  and just what the title said , btc has a comeback so if i were you guys ill start bagging now because comeback means that it can return to its previous value  , im not talking about the bad ones but im refering to its last ath  .

right now there are people that dont know this fact so they ended up selling and loosing hope too early.  its sad to witnessed it

ATH seems to be hard to achieve for bitcoin now, we will have a good timing for that but at the current situation, I really have doubt about the ATH.
The fact that we survive, that's good enough and that will not make people worry again but expecting an ATH this year, seems not gonna happen, well, I am not a fortune teller, I can't read what will happen tomorrow, but that's just my honest opining based on the current situation.
4095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 22, 2020, 12:41:52 PM
Actually, one should be prepared for what will happen after halving, increase or decrease its price, you should have contingency plans for both scenarios.
We should be but I don't think the price will decrease significantly after the halving, as mostly the price should rise because of hype prior to halving but it's not happening now, bitcoin was just moving sideways, so I think that would be the same thing that would happen post halving.
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are blockchain & 5G offering new opportunities for online bitcoin casinos? on: April 22, 2020, 12:28:27 PM
Faster and affordable internet connection is one of the key to help increase the adoption, and with that, they can easily access casinos online and the fact that crypto gambling does not really require gamblers to put big bets, so this means that even a regular gambler can gamble.

Also, with 5g that means faster internet and its where people will experience a reliable internet connection which is good for online business such as casino of course.
4097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 22, 2020, 11:09:46 AM
Most businesses in the modern world are built on loans. You propose to burn assets (paying salaries to people who do not work and do not bring any profit) to what state of the business? Until complete bankruptcy? Or is there some reasonable point where you should stop and understand that if there is no work then there is no payment for it.
You seem to be knowledgeable enough, until I read this, I did will not realize that what you are saying is true.
Personally I was able to work in a big company in our country having a good position and I there understand that although our company is successful enough but we still have a lot of loans in the bank, and our properties are the collateral of the loan, and I think this is what the businessman are really doing to expand their business fast.

The state should solve such global problems, and not business owners.

Completely agree, what's the reason of paying taxes if they can't help people.
4098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $160, after a +11% gainer in the last 24 hours on: April 22, 2020, 06:27:25 AM
Why would little rise every few weeks be a frustrating for Ethereum holders? Maybe it's frustrating for people
who wish to get rich fast and they would like to see faster grows, but not all of us thinks like that! I wouldn't be
a holder if every little drop, or slow rise, affects my mental health.
Ethereum is recovering slowly, and I think we will not see any significant rise before next year. By that I mean rise
to new ATH.
If possible we like to get rich here, yes, it could be frustrating to some because in their mentality, then think that crypto is an investment which would give quick return of money. Actually there are investors who invested during at peak and are still holding now, hoping that one day ETH will rise again and that's the time they will sell, and I also believe it's possible but it might just take time, so we have to be patient.
4099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 22, 2020, 06:12:31 AM
these Billionaires and Millionaires that youa re talking will sure having their own place to satisfied their need to gamble, they can even open the casino for them only as they can avail the payments casino operators might desire.

Laws of the land are applicable only for people like you and me. They are not applicable for these billionaires. If they want to gamble, then they would do that irrespective of any lockdown. If they can't travel to any of the casinos, then they can transport the casino machines to their home and take part in the games from the safe home environment (irrespective of whether they are doing it in a developed nation, or in a third world country).

That's how the world is corrupt, these billionaires have the money and they can do everything and we know money is power.
Well, they can gamble but that doesn't mean they are invincible because they have a lot of money, if machines only, they can gamble a small amount but on other type of games, they can surely gamble millions and if they lose, that would also hurt them.

it is considered now,or i don't know if this already happen as US are planning to print more money to cover the economic fall.
US have already print $2 trillion for the pandemic, and I'm not sure if they'll print again, but the amount they printed is a big amount of money.
based on the article, https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/04/05/what-2-trillion-coronavirus-bailout-is-really-going-cost/
