Exciting day today with the semi-finals, I'm curious whether and how many sets Nadal and Djokovic will deliver today. Good to see that the semi finals not to late, the temperatures are already getting a bit colder in the evening, which is not really beneficial for the players.

Tsitsipas vs Rublev live right now. It seems Tsitsipas better placed then the adversary he has won the first set recovering from a break point.
Personally I see the Greek player in advantage for this match, I am bullish on it.
Meanwhile Djokovic should have a very easy game today against Carreno-Busta...
Djokovic it's really from another level. Players like Carreno-Busta must play a lot and improve more to be able to win a match against him. The first set has seen the Spanish collect a win but I was not surprised to much (the first set lose by Djokovic). Odds have touched @1.4 - @1.45 since we are talking about a top player, it was a really bargain offer! I also wonder today when i look at the result from yesterday  Djokoviz lose his first set . When all run normally it smells like a finial between Djokovic and Nadal  . I don't think tomorrow Schwarzman and Tsitsipas are string enough for Nadal and Djokovic. |

Luca Marini is doing well in Moto2, currently leading the 2020 Moto2 standings. He should deserve to go up to MotoGP. I heard other news regarding Luca that he wants to join Avintia's satellite team, Ducati. But Avintia has a contract with Tito Rabat and they will continue that contract.
indeed, there are rumors that Avintia wants to replace Rabat with Marini. However, the team's desire to do so was unavoidable, because Rabat is the son of one of Avintia's sponsors. Maybe they don't want to lose the financial supply from Rabat Jewelry, sp they decided to keep Rabat until the contract expires in 2021. On the other news, there is a possibility that Rossi's team, Sky Racing VR46 reportedly will participate in the MotoGP event in 2022, it could be that Marini will become a rider for the Rossi team. Schwartzman beat Thiem so on the face of it he should be a good match for Nadal, however Thiem looked tired/cramped from the beginning of the match, so in practice I expect Nadal to win easily.
Nadal against Sinner seemed a bit slow to get into it but once he came back and took the first set, I was sure it was over for Sinner.
I also see this and see it the way you do, Thiem make more matches and sets the last days/weeks and looks from the beginning tired. He still wanted to win the 4th set, in the 5th one saw that the strength and lust wasn't there anymore. So also with the last ball, somehow he didn't care about the last ball. Nadal makes the next game at Paris without a set lose. Amazing |

That's right but for all two, a very long, intense and already exhausting game today. The final outcome is still uncertain, Thiem currently only has a small advantage over Schwarzman. I'm already looking forward to Nadal's game, 3 set game or can the young Italian surprise? |

Furthermore Djokovic has won this match comfortably, and now like you’ll I'm eagerly waiting for his clash with Nadal (if that happens), but in that match I’ll be rooting for Nadal to beat Djokovic. Rafael Nadal is the king of clay but i doubt he is completely fit coming into the French Open and on the other hand Novak Djokovic is in good touch and all the controversies surrounded him outside of the tennis court and the exit because of a silly mistake in the US open will motivate him to win the French open and it will be a classic if both are injury free. Today the last finalists have there quarterfinal matches, when Nadal and Thiem win than we see the last year final. But Rolland-Garros is like Nadals living room and is very hard to beat him so i think when today Nadal and Thiem win, Thiem will pull the shorter one again this year, he also had the harder matches so far. And the Final will probably Nadal vs. Djokovic. |

If Red Bull wanted a good driver Alonso is available ! But Red Bull only wants drivers it has brought up itself.
The Renault car is not that bad, it's much better than an Alfa Romeo or a Williams or a Haas. Clearly the Ferrari engine is horrible and not helping two of these three teams, but still. I don't understand how it's possible that Grosjean has been having brake troubles for years at Haas for example.
I think Honda was ready to stay for the long run, however COVID hasn't helped, and their reason make sense : electric cars are the future, Formula 1 will have a big problem a few years from now with its combustion engines. I don't understand why they're not at least going to ethanol from a renewable source as a fuel.
Why should want RedBull a driver like Alonso, RedBull already have a young, good driver for the future. You would need a powerful engine now to give Max a car that Mercedes can beat. I don't think electro is the future either, and nobody is interested in motorsport either. I've already seen Formula E, there is nothing more boring than that without all the "free tickets" nobody would look at. Just like MotoE that doesn't even work on its own. It may be different with synthetic fuel. |

Very hard game for Thiem yesterday, incredible stop balls from Gaston , the next matches at tis "line" are interesting and for the half-finals, the last finale in 2019 is possible. But Thiem are the only who's get over 5 sets, the regeneration is very critical.  |

Big disappointment for Red Bull and Alpha Tauri. I think Verstappen will leave Red Bull for sure in the coming years.
The only solution at the moment is Renault for them. Mercedes and Ferrari will probably not going to sell the engine to a competitor with the fear to be beaten. They also want a competive engines and the only one they can probably have is the Renaul. Keep also in mind F1 will also reduce costs from 2022 with the SALARY CAP and with new cars and the new cars are a good opportunity for new big companies, some of them according of rumors already asked informations about it. I also see Renault as the only option at the moment, but the separation was not rosy, whether Renault is still getting involved and does RedBull even want to go back to Renault? RedBull / Renault have had many successful years but in the end there was a lot of tension in this relationship! |
