4101  Economy / Speculation / Re: BBC says Brexit wins on: July 04, 2016, 01:54:34 PM
It isn't bad news for Britain at all. Britain being in the EU means they have to help bail out broke ass countries like Greece & Cyprus when theu default.

GB is an economic super power, they are better off on their own being self sufficient.

Germany are now left with a load of broke countries waiting for their next welfare cheque.

I agree it is good news for Britain. It hasn't done anything for the bitcoin price because Brexit has made the UK safer - Brits are no longer subject to the EU's draconian bail-in rules which stole a lot of people's money in Cyprus.
4102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Waning Interest In Bitcoin? Wall Observer Thread Off Page One on: July 04, 2016, 12:52:04 PM
I think people are just waiting for the halving, too risky to trade before then because no-one knows how it will go, so money is on the sidelines watching.
4103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Roadmap Release on Sunday on: July 04, 2016, 10:56:27 AM
Well here is the actual roadmap:

https://litecoincore.org/

They seem to have announced stuff that is in other coins (like super nodes), and they're supposed to be getting it all done by November...
4104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stricter border controls are appearing worldwide. on: July 04, 2016, 09:30:01 AM
Assuming British politicians don't try to stab us in the back again, they will because it was a major issue that the referendum was about.

As far as I saw, seems like Britain government wants to keep freedom of move for individuals.
And I've got to say that even if I'm 100% for EU and freedom of movement, it's really incredible to see the government doing something like this! Brexit was clearly about controling the borders again, refusing to do so is just ignoring the voice of the people.
Even people like me that were for remain should be angry at the government if they don't close the borders  Angry

It's incredible the govt giving people a vote on this? Nah, it's democracy. You must live in a dictatorship if you arn't allowed these types of choices by ballot.
4105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Germanys dominance over europe on: July 03, 2016, 05:29:57 PM
What will you people do if nothing changes?

Like UK going in recession and germany gets more power:

Immigrate to russia or africa? Maybe belarus?

It's more likely to be the other way round - Deutsche Bank explodes taking Germany with it, and the UK prospering happily outside.
4106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for altcoin exchange on: July 03, 2016, 02:22:50 PM
All of them have been hacked at some point - I know Poloniex was hacked a couple of years ago, but they paid back all their customers.

The issue is not "have they ever been hacked" - but "how have they responded to hacking". The best way to protect is for the exchange to take out some insurance, so they can pay back their customers if they get hacked. Only Coinbase has insurance as far as I know.

The Labour party has already announced that free movement must come to a halt. The Conservatives are in the middle of electing their new leader, but I think they'll do the same. They both know they'll get thrown out in the next election if they don't.
4108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can be better than this! on: July 03, 2016, 12:38:17 PM
This has been going on since 2013 when the number of alts exploded from five to gazillions.

People have been issuing warnings for the last three years - but at the end of the day, it is up to individuals to ensure they arn't scammed. Just a quick search of this forum should give them enough warnings and intel about every single scam going and how to avoid them - but they won't listen.
4109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Germanys dominance over europe on: July 03, 2016, 12:26:26 PM
UK has 220 nuclear heads. How many of them are enough to destroy Germany?

We don't want to kill them. We just don't want to share a legal system with them, that's all.
4110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Germanys dominance over europe on: July 03, 2016, 11:54:47 AM
Well your first hope is Brexit, then the collapse of Deutschebank

Here is an interesting article about Deutsche Bank:

https://geopoliticalfutures.com/signs-of-trouble-for-deutsche-bank/

$41 trillion in liabilities. I just hope we manage to complete Brexit before it explodes.
4111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union on: July 02, 2016, 09:25:30 PM

Amazing foresight.

The prejudices of the Europeans towards the anglo-saxon world are definitely the same. Never mind, the fourth reich will soon be over
4112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union on: July 02, 2016, 08:22:15 PM
I beliave the European Union is a great thing. Obviously it is not perfect but it is a great step forward a Federal Europe. Europe has a history of war and destruction and the European Union is essencial to stop wars inside its territory.

Actually Europe's attempts at "unity" are the ones that have yielded the ugliest results. Here is an Easter postcard from Vichy-era France in 1942:

It could have been made today, which is what is so disturbing about it.
Wow. Yes.....Norway and Switzerland looking in Europe's direction but standing alone, while UK walks incredulously into the 'Special Relationship' box. That postcard was over 70 years ago.  Shocked Just wow.

Not just 70 years ago, but in the middle of WW2, when the Axis powers were selling "European Unity" and a whole bunch of soft minds were buying it not seeing what lay beneath till too late. That postcard is Vichy propaganda that is not that different to what the EU deploys now.

4114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should England leave the UK on: July 02, 2016, 04:47:09 PM

It's just theoretical question.
In reality, this will not be needed.
Why?
Very simple, Scotland and N. Ireland will choose to leave UK and stay in EU (possible Wales as well) so UK will disappear and only England will remain.
So, United will disappear and only kingdom will left, kingdom England (not sure how long). Smiley

They won't. Scotland and Northern Ireland depend on England for money. Scotland has a deficit of 10% of GDP that is being plugged in by England, and Northern ireland has 26% of GDP due to public spending (again financed by England).

As we have seen with Greece - poor countries that need money do not declare independence. It's only strong ones who have a lot of money that do (like the UK).
4115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is climbing up slowly slowly. what do you think ? on: July 02, 2016, 04:42:52 PM
I think there were some people who were gutted when the price fell from $750 to $630, and who will be watching and selling immediately the price rises back up. It is only once all those who "bought high" have sold and cleared out, that bitcoin can make it's next dash up.
4116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Multiple Bittrex accounts hacked everyone enable 2fa on: July 02, 2016, 03:15:14 PM
Fuck, I got hacked too, how is it possible, that so much Bittrex accounts get hacked.

My password stoped working, so I reset it and 10min. ago I saw everything is gone.
No 2fa because iīm retarded.

My E-Mail Accounts got hacked too, changed all the passwords, the amound of hacking attacks and
spam mails is getting ridiculous, donīt know what to do about that.

Well if your email accounts got hacked too, it is because you were using similar passwords across the board, and they got hold of one (either from your mtgox account or your mintpal account) and used it as a base to figure out how to access your stuff.

Make sure you use completely different passwords for every single account you have.
4117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should England leave the UK on: July 02, 2016, 03:12:21 PM
Sounds stupid. doesn't it. But many of the issues raised by Scotland also apply to England ( including parts of London), Westminster seems to be obsessed with boosting financial companies, and it's at the expense of industry, pensions and the people of the UK. We need to break away from it.

Of course an easier solution would be to elect non-venal politicians, but there don't seem to be many around. The primary function of a politician is to get re-elected, and this is despite the enormous costs to the country.

Coming out of the EU should automatically reduce the UK's dependence on financial services.

There is a strong geographic component to trade. As long as we were in the EU, London and the south-east would be the most prosperous, as they are the closest to teh mainland.

Exiting the EU forces the govt to start making trade deals with the rest of the world - this should benefit the western side of the country, because all the big ports that provide easy access to the Atlantic and the Med are in the west.

Just by Brexiting we have changed things - now lets wait to see what the change brings before contemplating new change.
4118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Dogecoin halving? on: July 02, 2016, 12:21:38 PM
Actually i like dogecoin to send money rather than bitcoin
it has cheap fee only 1 dogecoin (48 sat) and fast confirmed transaction
But with no limit supply make it not have price, price will slowly going down and down and next die.

Actually the price of doge has been very stable - it trades between 43 and 46 satoshi. And it's price in USD is even more stable. It's a sweet little coin.  Smiley
4119  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union strongly support Scotland break away... Why not Catalonia? on: July 02, 2016, 12:17:45 PM
Sturgeon announced she was going, and then brazenly turned up and they had to be polite to her. Some of them undoubtedly think it would be fun if the UK broke up - but there is no benefit to Europe in Scotland joining, it has a deficit of 10% of GDP, a small population, and can't afford to contribute much to replace the money the UK has been contributing.
4120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union on: July 01, 2016, 02:44:51 PM
What is your opinion about the European Union?

The EU was poorly thought out, Democracies and socialist can't work. other talk to much and gets very little done and Then there's socialism that works good until you run out of other peoples money to spend, This is the cat fight from hell.
So, do autocracies work fine? Though that was an irony too, but we can say that the experience of the 20th century clearly shows that they don't. Democracy may be an imperfective construct, but others are even worse and you won't find any perfective construct. So, I don't argue that the system is imperfect. But why we should ruin it instead of improving?

Democracy is a great thing - and the European Union is famous for ignoring it. They're trying to tell Britain to ignore the referendum, can you imagine? Luckily the governing party (the Conservatives) have said they accept the result and there won't be another referendum.
