4102  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 24, 2020, 08:58:26 AM
This is weird that I can't find on Sportsbet.io anything about USA elections, i mean even in our local books we can bet to the election outcome. And here is nothing (i wanted to see what odds on both candidates). Maybe because weird design, which doesn't change in better way after my previous time here  Undecided
It is really interesting to see such odds. I really thought about if it means electoral wins or popular vote wins?

Because nobody really sees this election as clearly as sportsbet.io does with that odds. They are saying Biden will win for sure and almost guarantee it, 1.45 for Biden to win is not a joke, it is as further as "this is something we guarantee" as it gets when we are talking about outrights, sure in regular football matches you could find 1.2 type of odds here and there on some different divisions teams and all but when we are talking about elections once every 4 years in a big nation 1.45 is really as sure thing as it gets.

Looking at everything else, I would say we should be careful, I am not going to lie I hope they are right but if they are right I wouldn't risk my money on it anyway.
4103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 22, 2020, 04:42:28 PM
With the way DeFi was going I already was expecting it to end like this. Seriously, just look at how these projects were growing like crazy, how can a genuine investment go from $1 and the next thing, within a month or so, you’re seeing that it’s being sold for over $50k or so, lol.

So, I wasn’t surprised when they started becoming total failure. Although I am not saying all of them will fall, there will still be some of them around. But with the way they were moving , majority of them were doomed to fail and that’s what they are currently experiencing.
4104  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 22, 2020, 03:38:08 PM
I sort of understand the government is doing right things because they are thinking about every single person.

Sure we all want people to actually stay at home but we are forgetting the people who own their own business as well so there are tons of economical problems in the world as well so I can’t really say what is the right decision to open or not to open.

If you open thousands of people will die, if you do not open tens of millions of people will starve and may die so in the end both options are horrible.
4105  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: October 21, 2020, 06:46:43 PM
Mr. WangTang has done it again:

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/736547732

Another 300 BTC bet. Since I think bitcoin is worth a little more than the last time he did it, so it might qualify for largest-real-value-bet-placed-in-bitcoin  (as opposed to most-bitcoin-bet, which as BAC noted is most likely mechs 7k btc bet)
This wangtang dude is doing something else, when I checked it out dude had like 8k+ bets wagered so far, and considering the price of bitcoin, I could easily say that this dude is probably the biggest gambler in the whole world, he has also earned much more than I could ever guess during this period as well, the weirdest one came with his 19.51x bet on a huge wager where he won like 600 bitcoins I think, or 60? Whatever it was, dude is straight up balling right now, it is not even remotely close to each other at all.

I really hope that he doesn't suddenly crash and lose everything, that would be a very bad anti-climactic end to his run. However he doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, which means it looks like dude might continue more and more until he loses everything like predicted (only if he doesn't stop).
4106  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 21, 2020, 06:05:14 PM
There is really a lot of stuff that fortunejack does well, all the provably fair games, all the great design, all the options they are providing and you can even see the support right here how they are helping a lot of people as well, for the past god knows how many years they have been great.

But another amazing thing about them is these promotions, honestly when it came about that you guys won't have the premier league scorer thing anymore, I felt a bit sad because it was one of the most fun games ever, and it was free as well so it was even more fun to actually play since I didn't spend anything but my time, so each week I just did my research and guessed, however when we get to learn about this new one, I realized you didn't just remove the old one, you improved on it!!
4107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm very worried about my Crypto Trading. on: October 20, 2020, 09:27:01 AM
If you are buying at a very high levels you are not going to make a profit, you should not get in when there is a big hype and the price is high, wait for it to go down and you can get in at a great price. Look at the previous 3 months for example, almost everything was down 3 months ago, now they are all higher right now, obviously you can't do that every single time, but that happens very frequently for everyone involved.

Look at every single year in the past 5 years, there is a huge down and there is a huge up as well, every year has that and that is why I think if you could wait for that big down that will always happens, you could buy from that place. But no matter what you do there is no way that you could sell when the price is lower than when you bought it and lose money, that is the worst thing you could do.
4108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Crypto with stable change and good trading volume? on: October 19, 2020, 09:20:00 PM
I just want to know if is there any good crypto currency on binance with a good trading volume and a stable change which means that that currency does not fluctuate too much and it is cheaper too like dogecoin? Also if that crypto recovers fast then it will be really a gold mine

IMO a stable coin is what which does not fluctuate much or remain stable in terms of profit, for example if a coin traded yesterday in 28 cents high, 20 cents low, then today it is trading in 26 cents high, 18 cents low which means that the profit is always stable, we don't need to be worried about that we will lose much if we lose any trade.
That is the dilemma here, if you want change you can get change, if you want stable you can get stable and that's about it, if you want both change and stable you can't get both of them at the same time since they are not the same thing. Obviously change can't be stable, it would be different and always changing so how could it be stable, but the stabilization could change, which is not what is wanted here, it could be stable and change and not be stable anymore, that could happen and happens constantly, like for example we were at around 10-11k range for 2+ months and it changed and now we are over 11k, that is change out of stabilization.

You should take a look over what you want from life, you could potentially get something that is totally realistic if you can actually find something like that which you can follow instead of unrealistic stuff like this.
4109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 19, 2020, 04:28:06 PM
I believe there is a big reason included in the less trading, sometimes less trading shows lack of interest towards bitcoin, and that means bitcoin price drops, and sometimes less trading means people are not willing to sell, so the price goes up, this time it was the latter and price went up because people didn't want to sell their coins and when there is demand but not enough supply the price goes up.

This is of course not rare, it happens time to time and that is why we do see bitcoin price skyrockets time to time, it happens probably few times a year at least and if you get in before it happens, you could be one of those people who decline to sell and make a profit when the price skyrockets and you end up finally selling. EVERYONE would sell depending on the price, nobody is holding forever.
4110  Economy / Speculation / Re: US economy won’t be charging upwards like we had hoped for on: October 18, 2020, 09:09:47 PM
"Fear" for them to roll back? Dude it SHOULD be rolled back, if companies do not pay taxes, either country creates debt or they take it from the poor, thats not going to sustain for a long time, it is impossible to allow people to actually create some sort of loophole where richest of the population keeps paying less and less taxes, how could you manage a whole nation when that is the situation?

So, we should focus on getting those taxes back and even higher. These companies are making tens of billions of dollars worth of profit, there is no point not taking another billion, when you can get extra 100+ billion dollars, you are basically giving every family a whole months electricity bill for free, just to give an example, you can use it for something different obviously. So at the end of the day, rich should pay their fair share as well.
4111  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 17, 2020, 04:24:50 PM
The economic situation has an indirect effect on the crypto market. We have seen the market somehow crash when the pandemic started but it recovered in the middle phase of it. I would say it is somehow favorable for crypto since most people had to get their cash out of stock market, and some must have jumped into crypto.
I do not agree with the fact that they had to take their money out of stock market but put it on crypto. If people needed money they took their money out of stock market but that means they used that money to survive, maybe they were too scared and bought like a ton of toilet paper and rice etc because they thought they wouldn't be able to go out at all.

Whatever the reason is they would actually end up with spending their money and that really caused the market to go down, crypto went down as well because people who would withdraw from stock market have no reason to go back into crypto, stock market was low so getting in at that moment would have made you a lot of money, so going to crypto for "safe haven" is not really a good option neither when stocks are that cheap and would recover (and did).
4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 16, 2020, 06:43:01 PM
Blockchain.com is one of the best and people assume just because they do have a connection to your code they think it would be stolen but they have time and time again proved that they do not keep it on their data, you have to keep it when it is given and write it down somewhere, otherwise its gone because they don't have a connection.

It used to be .info so some people may confuse it, but it is blockchain.com now and they are basically the website for all of blockchain checking and you can have a wallet there. I still have mine after 7 years and it worked perfectly, you do not need anything else. They used to only have bitcoin, now they have bunch of altcoins as well, not all of them obviously but they do have plenty enough for you to use them if you want to.

4114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fundamentals in ‘moon mode’ as BTC held on exchanges drops on: October 14, 2020, 06:19:33 PM
Less liquidity could also point to inaccuracy in pricing possibly we dont know exactly, I'm not sure it has to favor demand over taking supply.   If there are a large number of buyers holding BTC not just buying, i guess retention off exchange does fit that.

I'm looking at the scenario we repeat last summer also, top out and then revise prices there after which is still a reasonable outcome.
Less liquidity would mean that but not less volume or trading. Which means if there is less money in the deposits but there is more active that could still mean bitcoin is doing very well. Consider this, lets assume there is 500 million dollars worth of bitcoin in one exchange, but most of them are idle and only 100 million dollars of them are at the market, does that mean it has high liquidity or just have amount of bitcoins?

Consider less money on deposits, let's say there is 250 million dollars worth of bitcoin at that exchange, but over 200 million dollars of it is on the trade book, doesn't that make it a lot more liquid? This is something we have to look for, do we really know if the liquidity went down as well, or was it just the amount that was idle that went down?
4115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 13, 2020, 07:55:58 PM
I disagree that these drops are a small thing, they are very big because none of them are like bitcoin itself, bitcoin could have a drop because it is the first ranked coin and it will come back, none of these can drop and make it back to where they used to be.

Look at all the other coins that peaked during the 2017 December, bitcoin was at 20k and it is now 11k, which is about 55% of what peak was, look at other altcoins and see which one has dropped more and which one dropped less, almost all altcoins dropped more than bitcoin, because bitcoin can recover better than all others. Now those are good known coins that couldn't recover as much as bitcoin, and you assume stuff that is barely few month old and totally unreliable will make it back up again over to their peak? That will never happen.
4116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin Crypto with Credit card on: October 13, 2020, 06:18:28 AM
Does anybody know a place where i can buy bitcoin with credit card. I have tried so many websites but it always declines. Who knows a good place where i can buy. NB: I have tried Binance also
Lol what type of card are you making use of that would make Binance reject your card? Is it a well-known card like MasterCard and Visa? And also you have to understand that you if the card is a local card and you’re trying to use it to buy from Binance, it’s not going to work.

In my country there are three main types of cards that we use, and only two can work on an international level; you can use them to buy from international websites, and also purchase whatever you want online, but the other one only works locally and if you try to use it on sites like Binance, it wouldn’t work.

So, check if it’s something like that. If that’s not the case, it might be a problem with your bank, or you can try using other methods to buy.

4118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 07:13:18 PM
Considering ethereum also dropped, and was over 400 dollars at one point, I feel like it is going to skyrocket when the phase 1 starts and we can stake it. There will be tons of people who will buy ethereum to have 32 eth and there will be tons of people who will try to get even more, like 320 or even 3200 ethereum to stake even more.

Everyone will want it and I can see some sort of going back to ICO days as well because everyone will want to be funded by ETH in order to stake it to make money and pay people instead of using all their funds. We are going to see tons of people buying and a lot less selling as well from miners too. There is no way eth could stay where it is, we know it was over 400, now it is time to go over 500 even 600 if it could stay there for a while.
4119  Economy / Economics / Re: How freelancing websites killed design and developement bussinesses ... on: October 10, 2020, 03:09:50 PM
Well, you might be right, but I still think that in some ways they have made things easier for us, the problem is with designers.
I have worked on freelance websites as a writer, and this was the same challenge I faced with some writers agreeing to charge way too less than what they are supposed to charge.

Some of them will even accept pennies from their clients just to get good ratings from them. It’s up to the client and the level of work they need, a big client with deep pockets wouldn’t want to mess around and hire writers that will provide them with a less than standard. With time you get to know good clients and you can start Business with them outside those platforms.
4120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TradingKlaus - Have I been scammed ? on: October 10, 2020, 09:00:37 AM
I hope you didn’t invest a lot of money in that website already because this is a scam. I have not heard of this website before, and they are claiming to be around since 2014? They are fake. A real website wouldn’t ask you to deposit more money before you can withdraw the one you already have on their platform, this is just their tactics to get more money out from you, and once you have done that, they will still request for more money and when you don’t, and they know you have realized it’s a scam, they will just block you lol.

So, stay clear from them and don’t send them any more money. If they don’t agree to send back your money, then leave it and stay clear, there is no way you can get it back now. It’s late already.
