^^^ But this is how it has been forever... common interests.

The big money people of every country get together, not because they like each other, but because they are big money working together for common goals... more big money.

It's often the little people who get hurt in the process, because they really like each other, but don't have enough money for big, common, goals.

Russia's existence depends on it's resources and few allies it has left

Then maybe Putin shouldn't be invading (Ukraine) and refusing obligations towards (Armenia) potential allies, and fucking his resource export by walling the country off the rest of the world.
Of course Putin shouldn't be pussyfooting around. He should take that forsaken country over just like that, and change it on all the maps so that it is part of Russia proper.

everyone in EU is dumbfounded about this great American plan, tons of dead people, EU in recession, UA will be back under RU sphere of influence

Ukraine will not "be back under RU sphere of influence". The cost of that remains to be seen but your assessment of what EU "thinks" is absurd. Aside from Orban, the rest of Eastern Europe knows very well what Russia's sphere of influence means and that giving Putin (part of) Ukraine won't stop him from wanting part of Poland, Germany, or Portugal. That's an existential threat.
Most people don't realize that when Russia gets finished, there won't be any Russian sphere of influence. Rather, it will be something like the old USSR back again... threatening the whole world with forced domination if they step out of line... like the US and NATO are doing right now.

Edit: Markets opened higher on a day Russia announced mobilization. If market is of any indication (as it has always historically been), no one is pricing in any serious escalation or mobilization of "western" economies to war footing.

Don't quit your troll farm to become a market analyst just yet.

Right, because the USD is sliding off the cliff. As many advances as it makes, they are followed directly by declines... that are catching up. Wait a little while, so that you won't waste time learning about debt backed money... as the USD fails, and we go back on Putin's gold standard, which is gold-backed money rather than the current US money, which is debt backed money.

If Putin only understood how the US debt backed money system works, he would laugh at how easy it is to crush it.

United States government... what's that all about? I'm too busy earning a living and fighting with the wife and kids to go running after some science fiction story... like government.

I know some of my friends 'woke' up about it. But most of them are winding up with all kinds of family problems, and some of them even quit their jobs to get hired by that Soros guy. Then they go out and do bad stuff.

Me and the wife might have heated disagreements at times. But we don't want to go out and get a job with Soros and do bad things.

Besides, some of my other friends think we have the best government that money can buy!

As a financial advisor I couldn’t agree more. Most people are completely and utterly lost when it comes to even basic finance knowledge.

Schools should focus on real world stuff like this, how to change a fiat tire, how to sew, how to give a proper job interview, how to build a resume etc, shit that will actually be useful IRL.  I used to tell my calculus teacher in HS that I will never ever need to know how to do calculus in adulthood. Guess what, 25+ years later and I’ve never come close to needing to know how to do calculus (this is just one example).

I agree with you about what schools should teach. I've heard it said that teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic would only take 3 hours a day. But it is basic finance knowledge that is most needed after the 3.

I think that part of the reason it isn't taught much, is that teachers and schools don't really understand the basics themselves. As a financial advisor, could you please tell us where money comes from in the first place. I mean, Biden is turning over $billions to Ukraine. Where does it come from? And how and where does he get the authority?

The direct control of 'printing' the money comes from somewhere. Where does it come from and who controls it and what do they use as a base for their controls, so they can say, we should print more now?

But not all the laws and policies. Rather, a simple understanding of where money comes from and who controls when and why to 'print' it. The schools need to know this so that they can teach it.

To focus on your problem for a moment, you don't seem to believe in Jesus salvation. If you did, you would recognize and speak that Putin might be saved. In the same way, I don't really know what's in your heart regarding your belief in Jesus salvation. But you talk like your salvation isn't there.

Cool

Nothing will save your Putin. For everything that he did to him, whether he wants it or not, he will have to answer both before the tribunal and before God. You have to pay for everything, this is how the world works and Putin cannot avoid retribution.

Take out, put in. We all do it. He's more your Putin because you live in a land near him and speak his language.

Putin might answer before some tribunal, but since he is greater, the tribunal will fall before him.

As for God, God requires perfection in all of us. Since we can't do perfection, we need to accept the Jesus perfection that God wants to give us. If Putin accepts, he is forgiven. If you don't accept, you aren't forgiven.

Part of being forgiven is to forgive others. Since you aren't forgiving Putin, you probably don't have forgiveness and salvation. Die with the rest of the wicked unbelievers... or will you change and believe God?

So the "people's republics" all announced referendums (on the subject of joining Russian Federation) to take place within the next few days, and Putin was supposed to make a TV appearance, presumably to speak on the subject. The expectation is that of course these territories will be formally annexed by Russia and this will open a legal pathway for military draft/mobilization/special slaughter operation or whatever they will call it. Putin's speech has been postponed though, likely until tomorrow.

Some people won't understand why Putin invaded Ukraine until it's in a coloring book and even then unless it's a woke coloring book it would be ignored.  It's really not hard to understand, but you must first come to grips with the idea that the USA doesn't always do everything fairly and we take actions on others we wouldn't tolerate in return.  Those blindly stuck in the brainwashed state that Joe Biden isn't running our country off a cliff will never understand.  They're too busy in defense mode and brainwashed to believe whatever lies they're told.

Putin's best investment right there. Doesn't even need to pay 15 rubles to each individual, just feed some bullshit to right wing nutjob media and they all parrot it as if they're in on some great secret. Pathetic.

Somehow everything is about Trump and Biden - particularly about Trump. But it is not: Adolf Putin's wars are pretty much coincident with high oil prices. The RF army is oversized and does have plenty to say. The idea that whatever Putin decides happens is simplistic - if not plain wrong and it is becoming even clearer that the army can impose whatever they want on the civil society - like for example, a compulsory levy for a war that is not defensive.

RE US not "doing things right", I really hope nobody out there in the US is still believing in any short of moral superiority.

On the "fakeferedums", the political consequence is that the RF psychos will start the rhetoric of "our allies are actually being invaded" and may justify a levy or anything else.

What it is really all about is banking. There are two basic kinds of banking in the world. The real one is not very powerful at any one time, though it has a much better foundation. But the fake one is extremely powerful as long as nobody sees through the fakery.

Putin is using the temporarily weaker, but real, banking system. The US and Europe are using a couple of fake banking systems that have the appearance of strength right now, until the truth of their fakery comes out into the open. That's why the war against, not really Putin, but his banking system is being pushed by the West.

Putin's banking is backed by gold; the US and Europe by a planet-sized chunk of lies.

Everybody knows what it means to have money backed by gold... like Putin and the Ruble.

See if you can figure out how the US fake fiat system kills loads of people through fake money. Search on "Tom Schauf, bank freedom."

Since this brings it out more clearly that the US is the fomenter behind this war, now Russia will be able to bring out their heavy armament without being criticized as badly... even in the West.

Cool

It turns out that until now Russia has used only light weapons. So really it was not a pity the loss of thousands of soldiers because of this. It was necessary to immediately use heavy weapons in order to quickly end the war and save our soldiers. By the way, could you explain what you think of heavy weapons. I thought it was tanks, artillery, rockets, but it turns out I was wrong.

You are wrong. Heavy weapons are things like tanks and artillery. Rockets fly, so they must be light weapons, to even be able to get up there... even if they carry nukes.

Even the Nazi's of Hitlers day believed in the light of the sun, when you get closer to it. Are you Nazi's smarter than Hitler's Nazi's?

^^^ Trump had declassified the other docs.

At this point it's pretty clear that's a lie.  Here are a few reasons:

- There's no evidence he declassified them.
- He's only made that claim off the record.  In court, where lying has real consequences, no claims have been made that the documents were declassified.
- Dozens of former Trump staffers, including 3 of his chiefs of staff had said there was no standing order to declassify anything.
- I don't think any former staffers have backed up his claim.
- It's Donald Trump.

Don't be so gullible.

And if Trump were innocent don't you think PrimeNumber7 would be coming up with something better than "You really don't know what Clinton, or Obama took because their houses weren't raided by their political opponents." to defend him?

Still playing like you have all the evidence, and that your hearsay is the right hearsay.

Why won't you tell us what you really have against Trump? Why do you select him and pick on him in such detail, when there are thousands of others who have done far worse things and far fewer good things?

4111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Whose Crimea on: September 20, 2022, 01:40:57 PM
Russian claims to Crimea don't have anything to do with ownership. Even Putin couldn't exercise his ownership of Russia if he owned it all!

Russian claims to Crimea have to do with governmental protection. While people in Crimea have all kinds of ideas about Russian protection, it seems that the majority of them would rather be protected by Russian governmental ideals than their own. They voted Russia in.

Why would they vote Russia in? Why not use their own self-governing? Because they are smart enough to realize that they AREN'T smart enough to effectively govern themselves.

Whoever was in charge of Crimea before they brought Russia back to themselves, realized that they needed a strong government that they didn't have. Now that they got Russia (back), they will have to pay taxes to Russia in one form or another. But they would have had to pay taxes to anybody for any protection.

Russian success, while not success in taking over the world, is still great success in Eastern-Europe/Western-Asia. Let's use this success by joining Russia... says Crimea.

The main problem here is that the punishment of corruption is divided into two parts.
1. Punishment for the rich person.
2. Punishment for the poor person.
If this types of punishment have been desolve and make it at one punishment then I think it can be avoided

All this "Save the earth" projects or themes won't make sense if a random asteroid came from nowhere and hit our planet, wiping out everyone. I think our priorities are misplaced. We should be looking at saving each other, avoid pointless wars and survive peacefully.

You're right to an extent, we can save the world by living a peaceful life together with our brothers, neighbors and everyone at large, most problems encountered today were as a result of our individual differences that stirs up conflict amd we should count it a privilege not being struct by a natural epidemic that could cause a massive loss of lives, also we must be conscious of the environment we leave in to make it a better place for a living and the activities we do on it determine the reactions we get from the nature itself either good or bad.

In other words, what you seem to be saying is that the world isn't for itself, right? I mean, the world is a really wonderful thing... the way it all works together, people included or not. But what value is there to having a wonderfully working world?

I mean, doesn't all the value have to do with people's perception of the value of the world? Sure, some of the animals might have a tiny thought for their ability or inability to find food. But isn't it really the people who take deep though on such things?

If there weren't any people, what good is the world? Nobody else cares much about the world at all.

The most ironic thing is that people can't save the world. All they can do is talk about it. And when they talk about it, they base their talk on some things other people told them, even though the other people don't really know what they are talking about.

I wonder who is manipulating the talk, and why?

4115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: At what point will one say that he or she has had enough money? on: September 20, 2022, 01:08:24 PM
The quest for money has to do with what people think money is. Is money those little pieces of paper people stick in their wallets? Is money those little coins people stick in their change pockets... and often into parking meters? Or are these mediums of exchange simply the easy way to do value and property transfers?

There isn't a lot one can do with the stuff we call money, except to trade it for things that have value. Can you eat a dollar bill if you are hungry? Perhaps. But is there as much nutritional value in it as there is in a dollar's worth of bread? Money doesn't really have any value in itself. All the value that money has is perceived value. Money doesn't really have more value than the tiny bit you can get from the paper and ink that make it up.

I would suggest that real money is anything of value... real value. I would say that real money is all the things that you use to make your life easier to live... or livable at all in the first place. Why? Because everything we do in life is a medium of exchange. If we eat food, we change the food into aspects of living. And there is part of the food that our bodies naturally discharge as unfit for the purpose of life. In other words, there is exchange involved, and food is the medium.

A person can only live so much. A billionaire can't live in all his homes at the same time. He can't drive all his cars and trucks at the same time. He can't fly in all of his airplanes at the same time. Having/owning multiple homes and vehicles might be an advantage for him in certain situations or circumstances. But they might wind up being excuses for him to actually set up circumstances or situations so that it looks like he has a need for all these homes and vehicles.

Much money is a form of advancement. At least, many people think that it is. So, for them (most of us) basic money is so that we can live - food, clothing, shelter, etc. Anything beyond basic money is so that we can be praised for having more than somebody else, and for being able to manipulate life so that we can advance beyond others. It's a pride and success thing.

Today, the Ukrainian people, thanks to the courage of Ukrainian soldiers and the help of the civilized world, have a chance to drive the Russian occupiers from their land.

Ukraine war is a clear indication of the fact that never do stupid things on behalf of USA and EU. They used Ukraine and when Russia invaded them no one came to help them rather EU is in talks with Russia to supply the gas otherwise they will freeze to death in coming summer.

And how did they use Uкraina? I hope you explain to me.

You are right. The US and Nato used CIA operatives to force their way into control of the Ukraine government. The people didn't realize it was happening, to say nothing about having the ability to fight it if they didn't like it.

Poor Russia and Putin. They get blamed for trying to help Ukraine out by giving them their freedom from the US and Nato. It's beginning to look like you are a US/Nato troll.

The thing that Biden DOES understand is, there are many low-IQ, ignorant rioters who have a vote. They don't understand that Biden's lies are lies. They simply believe him. They are so low-IQ that they don't even realize they are living on the street, and walking in their own piss and shit, and even eating it. They want to believe Biden, so they do, and so they vote, and that's all Biden cares about... their vote.

Cool

I don’t even think he understands that to be totally honest. I think he believes he’s doing a good job by trumpeting all these stats. Claiming a good job market when we’re at the lowest labor participation rate in 50 years. Claiming inflation is barely rising when we’re having the highest inflation in 40 years. He just gets told these things and repeats them thinking he’s doing a good job. I don’t think he realizes the only people who believe that are as financially illiterate as he is.

I kinda really think the same. But if it is Biden or his puppet masters, it's all the same.

I DID speak too hastily. I haven't checked into whether or not street people vote. Not the ones I talked about, anyway. I'm sure some of them do.
