4101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: November 03, 2021, 10:37:29 PM
Bluffing is great if done correctly. I would argue that you need to bluff in at least one of every twelve full rounds, if not you will become too predictable and will deter others to bet when you do so. However that needs to be tuned to the game in question and with the understanding of the level of the players involved. Bluff at the wrong moment and with the wrong people at the table and it will bite you back hard.
Yeah, it's great if you're doing it if needed. You don't have to bluff most of the time but if you do, make sure that you're doing it properly. There are poker players that are good in it.
But knowing if the player has been bluffing most of the time, I think that you'll find it out when you're also looking at how they react with their cards. This might not be noticed by many but if you're like that, then you'll get to see and can predict that to happen if you get the pattern of the other hand does it.
4102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency must adapt in schools/colleges curriculum on: November 03, 2021, 04:48:00 PM
I like the idea since most of the lessons, subjects, and modules are very limited to what we've been using. It's like a continuous cycle for the same topics with very little new knowledge in addition. Most of the professionals in the blockchain/cryptocurrency were self-taught, of course with the help of the community. I believe in the power of community and it should be great if these schools will recognize that.

Honestly, I think it's too early to do this. At least, often children are simply not yet ready to perceive such information and can simply spend money.
It's not about children but those teens to young adults but there's no exception if it's about knowledge about crypto and blockchain.
4103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the exchange idax.pro? on: November 03, 2021, 02:59:47 PM
Centralised Exchange is not a place to keep your asset and this is just basic knowledge everyone in cryptocurrency space should have.
It's a different story for OP. If you'll read his story, he has invested in it and forgotten about it.

Cryptocurrency ideology itself does not support middle men or third party that is why all hands must be on desk to make sure decentralization truly works!
There's no relation to the OP about idax.pro and what you've said. @OP, the domain's already got and there's no need for you to think about your assets there as they're completely gone.

4104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verified Information - Missed Opportunities on: November 03, 2021, 12:54:20 AM
We all have that the same experience a few years ago and I think also by this year. Despite the bull run, we want to secure our profits and nothing wrong with that. What's wrong is you've sold and then later you'll complain that you've sold earlier. I've got the same experience and I'm just thinking of it as one of the best lesson that I've learned on this market. The second guy on the picture is correct that you shouldn't sell everything and with an addition, if you believe on the crypto you hold and we're talking about bitcoin, never sell it on the price that you're not satisfied. And, if you have a future price as a goal then holding makes sense.
4105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 02, 2021, 11:49:38 PM
Well, it's kind of tactic for them to generate a revenue and hype on social media or other thing they can think of is a good thing. With the pandemic still a thing it wouldn't be easy as it seems for boxing arrangements these days. Exactly, it isn't only the fighters they should think of for this kind of fight, there are other staffs to think for.
True to that, there should be the arrangement that will be favorable to all of them. That's why on this match, there's not that much bid and maybe it won't be maximized the potential profit for this match when it's already there.
But still, it's for the fans and for the both boxers that will give their all onto this match despite there's a turning of event that it should be the other opponent, Casimero accepted it and won't sacrifice for the consequence if he did declined.
4106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will police investigate SquidGame token scam and look for the scammers? on: November 02, 2021, 04:51:08 PM
If there will be those victims that are going to pursue suing them then they'll have to spend a lot of money for it. I've seen some the same thing in the past and you can look for those scams where the developers of it have been punished.
There's still hope for the developers to go behind the bars if the victims will nonstop cooperate and work with the authorities that will be working on this case, they're likely interpol I think.
4107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice against plako or slot on: November 01, 2021, 04:14:12 PM
I'm not too good in dice game but dice game I found it interesting . One thing so interesting about dice game whether you are loosing or not it's still fun. I'm trying my best not to be a novice in game because it's one of my favorite game now.
Yeah, dice is fun and that's why many are hooked with it. It doesn't matter matter whether you're good at it or not because since it's a luck-based game.
All you need to have is to keep rolling dice to see if you're lucky or not because if you do then you win. But, if you're not lucky then you're not going to win and that's how it goes.
4108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What About Dogelon , The next DOGE or SHIBA? on: November 01, 2021, 02:25:37 PM
People are looking for a life changing token but to tell you guys, you'll barely have yourself with that ticket of fortune with some altcoins that you think will make you rich.
I've heard of Dogelon and it's been shilled to a particular group that I've seen. But it's funny that they're believing on such and they really are spending a lot of money from it.
You should get yourself the idea that you're just lucky or not when you've find such coins that will make you profit out of meme.
4109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: November 01, 2021, 04:43:20 AM
It's an extensive promotion technique opted by many businesses in their intial times when they have setup their business and need more customers base to attract them. The roobet casino is owned by TekHou5 Limited have deep pocket of funds residing wih them and its their technique of promotion. They ask streamers to to bet with high amounts with coupon provided by them and win big amounts but they don't sun that amount but only a fixed payment for their uploads. Its way a attracting customers like many do.
I agree that in the beginning, they have to do such as part of their marketing and they need to do it because it's a way to increase their popularity of them as they start out. It's not really new but when it comes to their popularity and they've make a success out of it and keeps doing it. That's the start of deceive which they should have stopped already when they've seen the result of their marketing as positive. Those that have became popular already and have their reputation to protect, they won't fake bets anymore because they're aware that it will rip their reputation that they've built overtime.
4110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [poll] Can speculation & prediction affect bitcoin price? on: October 31, 2021, 09:46:22 PM
So my question is, can speculation and prediction affect price?
Remember that we're in a speculative market and bitcoin is a speculative asset so it's a yes for both of them. Take the example of a very powerful person in the world that says something about his prediction or speculation about bitcoin, negatively and positively.
You'll get to see the market will react as quick as it can because we saw that happened in many influential personalities and that made them believed that they're powerful enough to move the market and they are still doing it to date.
4111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chilling my holds for 2022 on: October 31, 2021, 08:47:49 PM
These are the best altcoins to consider holding for the year and 1st quarter of 2022 if you want your portfolio to get way fatter than before
These are the altcoins that you hold and suggest everyone do the same thing as what you did. I have nothing against your portfolio and it's your own choice to make.
I agree on the fact with what you've said that everyone still has to do their own researches on these coins. But if you're a firm believer in these coins, just don't guarantee as if they're going to go up as much as you're expecting it although you've already said a disclaimer.
Well, I wish you luck and the best on your assets.

4112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 31, 2021, 07:43:01 PM
Yeah, you can't just ignore obvious moves that shouldn't be done. You'll find it suspicious if you're going to watch that afterward and analyze the game.
You can really spot them on and can't ignore the fact that this should be done like that or this. You'll have that realization that there's something wrong if you go through and observe the game again.

Right but on the other hand we all here have surely seen some own goals where you can just shake your head because it happened as if the best striker in the world did it. At the same time you wouldn't really think that it was the result of a fixed game. There are human failures that look so spectacular that a fixed game is almost the only possibility for that to happen, but the game still wasn't fixed. It is tough to prove that an action was due to a fixed game.
I agree. There's always the case like that and we're wrong with what we've been thinking. Something is playing in our minds with those conclusions that we're ending up but it tends out that we're just overthinking. It's hard to remove in our minds when some unusual moves we have just watched. But at the end of those matches, we just have to enjoy each of them with the sports that we've been a fan of and think that none of them is involved into such sold games.
4113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 31, 2021, 06:31:03 PM
Yeah, as long as you're in profit, that should be enough. But we don't have the same satisfaction while we take profits, someone wants to take as much as he can.
But, he misses the peak of his profits by being greedy because he might see the market start to go down as he waits for more. It's about timing, yes, it's an important matter for traders.
Most of us doesnt really get contented on what we do currently earn and they would seek out for more which would really likely ending up on comitting mistakes which would really result into regrets later on thats why you shouldnt really hurrying up yourself on making big profits on which you do tend to make out some sudden adjustments on your trading position or simply increasing your capital without
having some second thoughts on how to handle it out with less risk compared if you do make yourself hasty.
It's already on our nerves to think like that but it's very likely that when you're in the profit, you'll be happy selling it. The risk and time that you've taken is a lot and you have to make sure that it's worthwhile so nothing will be put to waste. As you get those profits, I agree that you don't have to be hasty and always take your time so that you're always doing the thing with the right decision and you won't regret it afterwards upon realization.
4114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 30, 2021, 07:59:20 PM
Trading is really volatile. There is no guarantee that whether the price will rise or down. If you are in profit then you should sell in hurry. But if you are facing loss then be patience and wait until the value increase again.
I wouldn't tell you to sell in a hurry but take time to realize the profits that you have to take. We all do deserve to take profits but if somebody thinks that the profit isn't enough then he should hold as much as he can. While he's still in the sequence of holding, he'll get to think of it if it's already enough to let the profits go.
Time is an important thing in trading, I think this needs to be realized whether the profit is enough or is it still not satisfied because everything we apply will certainly have a target that we have but as long as there is a profit it is a good opportunity.
In haste it will be a regret and we need a strong analysis to take this because without us realizing it after selling sometimes the coin always goes up and vice versa, as long as it is still holding do it with a predetermined target.

4115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 30, 2021, 06:47:05 PM
It's very much real, you cannot tell the difference between an upset and a fixed game, they will try to make it real because there's a big risk for them if they are caught.
If you're on the expert level of analysis for the sport that you love and are a fan of. You'll be able somehow to spot on which is a true upset and likely a thrown and sold game.
But it's true that there's difficulty in finding which of them are actually thrown because when there are fixed matches, they're likely not to do obvious things that will destroy and spot it by their fans.

Especially when you take into account that there were so blatantly obvious thrown games in the past that they now try to become more sophisticated in fixing games. I guess there is no doubt that there is still fixing going on, but there is such a vast majority of betting options these days that I believe that even plays into the hands of scammers. Fixing a game with an own goal or a penalty is really obvious, but what about a defender's mistake to kick the ball to a corner during the first five while pretending to just technically mess up. Sure it could still be suspicious, but as it might not be decisive for the game there will also be less scrutiny.

What you have experienced is the reason why I avoid using those unknown exchanges and swaps. They might seem to be good upon seeing them for the first time but reputation and customer service are very important to me. I may not have huge funds but I don't want to be in trouble of contacting the support again and again as that's a waste of time. Thank you for sharing this and I think there are a lot of traders that do like to test new exchanges and want to take the risk, if you're in for that and you don't mind having been in trouble and you only use an affordable amount, good luck to you.

4118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban and the mining exodus on: October 30, 2021, 08:37:56 AM
Good for their neighboring countries since they're where the miners will go first but it's still a consideration about the electricity cost if they're cheaper or close to what China has. I just wish that the Chinese government won't chase those miners especially the bigger farms that have been operating in their country and then forced to rehabilitate because of the policy that they've implemented about mining which made them ban it.

They may look for alternative energy sources like tapping renewable energy. So if they are planning to stay long in the area, maybe investing in renewable energy may be a good option for them. We have no idea what Chinese government will have a take on mining facilities because as they totally ban the usage of crypto and so are miners. Now, some may be are just hoping that their government will change their stance on this matter, but when?
They know what to do and for sure that many of them are into renewable energy since they're not just running a rig or two but hundreds to thousands. Which is making them look like a factory of machines that needed to have a lot of energy so they know that factor about energy.
The change of their ruling, they're doing that every year and we don't know what's next with their announcement of the ban. They said the same thing years ago and won't probably be stopping there.

4120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 29, 2021, 11:04:46 PM
I do understand and you're right. There are instances that it's better to fold than to bluff, if you can bear with that round and you might lose not that much, it's better to fold.
But when you're in that hard situation and you're about to lose the last money you have and the cards isn't with you then you have to play that part of bluffing just as the last resort for survival.

That will be the final choice left, then as nothing could save me. I played yesterday and did the bluffing again (but not all-in), the results were not so good but they were not bad either. It was like, I got many good cards yesterday and wanted to test this bluffing part as we have all been discussing it very seriously, so I took the privilege in my hands and went on to scaring my opponents again. I ended up in profit TBH and I believe that bluffing can be useful in times when we are certain that our opponents will fold or they've got even worst cards than us (a wild guess). But yeah, I won't bluff each game because they'll know that I'm using it as a strategy, I'd instead wait for 2-3 games, whether I get good cards or not (if not, I fold during those 2-3 games) and then bluff, that's called a surprise bluff strategy.
Yes, there are times that it would be really useful to you. It's just needed to be applied very well and you'll get to have the different opponents since it's online, it's easier to apply that.
And when it's effective to you then you have to keep doing that until you finally notice that it's no longer useful and working to you. That's all that's needed to be done when you're bluffing. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.
