4101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: May 16, 2021, 08:27:25 PM
Learn a lesson on the mistake that you had commited. This proves out that when you do make yourself get greedy then you will basically be experiencing this kind of mistake.

Take some break and try to realize those things and when you are already prepared again then it isnt bad to go back to the start just like on what you had did before.

Set things according to plan and dont be greedy and make yourself consistent and sustainable which this is the primary goal or target.
4102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 15, 2021, 11:29:36 PM
Mostly everyone here usually avoids casino who ask for mandatory KYC and then there are some casinos who asks to verify when you win big and i am skeptical about those casinos as well because they might be looking for ways to avoid paying the winner and we have seen many complaints here in the forum regarding that as they will target on the technicalities about banned countries and so on to avoid giving out the wins. I usually avoid those kind of casinos as well as it is better to inform the users about their general practice whether they will enforce or not before depositing the money.

Since I am just a small time gambler, I guess, I won't have any problem with that.  Grin But for those casinos that suddenly ask KYC because the player wins big, and it is not stated in their ToS that they will require KYC, then more than likely, they are just finding reasons on not to pay the player. So it is always better to play in the known and reputable casinos in the forum. You know, you will not be screwed as there are known users here in the forum that will willingly help you out with the situation.
Therefore, you shouldnt really play into those casinos which arent really popular so that you would able to avoid it in case you do win big but ive seen several sites now which does pay big winnings
no matter how big it is but they dont ask out any KYC or strings attached which is impressive.

But just like what others been saying that as regulations gets strict then you would really see these kind of changes in future years to come.
It isnt really that appealing but they dont have choice.
4103  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: May 15, 2021, 10:44:33 PM
Of course we all know that the longer the bitcoin price continues to increase. because that's why I currently continue to collect bitcoins from airdrops and bounties. for me bitcoin is a savings for my old age later  Smiley
Good to hear at and majority is been having the same target or goal too when it comes to accumulation of bitcoin and other coins in the market on whom we do believe that
has the potential to rise up in the future.

Speaking of doing things in 2030 then nothing is certain because we dont know on what are the things thats ahead of us which its hard to determine on what are the things
we might able to commit and done.

4104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1?$10?$100?What will the price of $Doge be? on: May 15, 2021, 09:39:47 PM
I see how all the panic will enfold if the feeling spreads among the holders that all the support which DOGE seems to get currently may be gone. Sitting on your huge pile of DOGE and out of a sudden you realize what the heck you just bought into out of greed.
While I can understand that people make mistakes since we are not perfect this was obviously coming, people should avoid by all means possible to let themselves be blinded by greed, I know that investing in dogecoin seemed like the perfect way to make some quick profits, but anyone that understands the market and knows that if you get profits then those profits need to come from the pocket of someone else then it is obvious that those that have been holding dogecoin for a long time at some point will sell and will crash the price when they do.
When we do let ourselves get blinded by greed then we would really be normally be committing with these kind of mistakes where we do lost our investment or in negatives just because we do let ourselves get fall into fomo.

Predicting prices would be always a never ending question because this market can really be affected by lots of factors which would really result into unknown movement of price and if we do make ourselves

get careless towards our actions or not being mindful about the probabilities on getting caught with the hype then you would most likely ending up like holding forever or sell on loss.
4105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: May 15, 2021, 09:15:46 PM
it is pure scam or ponzi i was ever stuck in the same condition. the difference is that the site uses USDT for investment, I get 3% profit per week and pay for 3 months with a 1 year contract agreement. but in the 4th month the site could not be accessed and finally a scam, I lost my assets so far. so beware

Knowing what reputation yobit had, for sure many people and investors are already aware,

that this kind of offer may lead them to lose their money. Better to invest with something that you are aware with, not just aiming for quick profits but for long-term investment. Keep your distance and if ever you received this messages better to stay away and never to take any chances to invest your money.
Lots of people specially the old ones does already know on whats the reputation of Yobit when it comes to its service that it gives and its no surprise that there are several people who do

really easily get hooked with too good to be true returns or dividends or whatever offer that they gave out.If i were to say then its not really that ideal for you to
make use of this shady exchange.

We should really be mindful when it comes our money to be invested.Dont get easily hooked up just because of better return.
4106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 15, 2021, 08:07:15 PM
There are many legitimate stories about gamblers winning millions on fantasy sports platforms like draft kings or fanduel.

There are documented stories of gamblers winning more than $100,000 gambling on sports.

For some strange reason, the overwhelming majority of the media appears to contain a bias where they only cover the negative stories where people lose.

My US state illegalized fantasy sports like fanduel and draft kings which technically are games of skill rather than gambling. I think the political angle isn't justified.

I'm not a fan of people being denied opportunities and options in life like fantasy sports which could make them money.
You have a point but the media loves sob stories as that brings more ratings than success stories, then politicians see this and they see a perfect opportunity for them to appear to do their jobs, they do not understand that the best policy in those cases is to do nothing, anyone that uses their common sense can see that the gambler was at fault, the casino offered a very small bonus and then the person goes crazy and losses al  his savings and even money he never had, it is obvious the gambler was at fault but he wants to shift the responsibility back to the casino.
Denial is common because no gambler would really be admitting about into their mistakes that had been done but rather giving out the blame to the casino on where he do play on.

This doesnt only limit out on that particular man but almost gamblers does have this kind of problem. It can be differentiated depending on the sereneness of the consequences that they had experienced.

This is the result when you do let yourself being greedy and doesnt mind off about your finances. You would surely be fucking up yourself in the end.
4107  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Hint from Mark Zuckerberg "Max" & "Bitcoin". Have Facebook invsted on Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2021, 09:48:14 PM
So whats the issue with it?

If Mark had named Bitcoin one of his pets then his fully aware about Bitcoin existence and there might be some possible change of minds in near future in regards to Facebook platform

but these are just pure speculations but its a bit obvious that we would really be seeing some similar events just like on that acceptance made by Paypal and Tesla.
If this thing could possibly happen then we can really shoot up to the moon or new heights on bitcoin price but im not really expecting that much though.
4108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: May 13, 2021, 08:45:59 PM
If you happen to be an active trader or know people that trade actively, you will notice that traders do not easily give out money ( i.e lend out money) not because they don't have to give but because their capital is actively and most times always involved a trade.

You have to understand as a friend to traders that even in times when big wins are celebrated, it is not still a time to ask them to help you with money for your needs with the thought that they are in profit, because if you do you will get yourself disappointed nine times in ten chances.

Work for your own money, nobody owes you anything.
Not only talking into your friend which is a trader even in to those people who had been earning on typical jobs that they do had which i can say its pretty normal because not all

would really be willing on giving out a loan even if you are a friend or close relationship or into something because we do have different priorities in life in terms of financial.

For those who do give out loans are the ones who are mainly considering because its a part of their business so it does depend on whom you do approach.
4109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 13, 2021, 07:49:37 PM
This could benefit those who keep gambling, particularly now, when, as you said, most gamblers are spending 24/7 in their homes gambling due to the pandemic, making them more vulnerable to gambling addiction. It's a serious problem that most of us can't even regulate or discipline ourselves when it comes to gambling because we have the mentality of making a quick buck. May I consider defi trading to be a form of gambling as well? If that's the case, money drive us insane. It keeps me investing in coins that have no guarantee of going x2. So be cautious about something that involves money because it will make us greedy for profit, particularly now that the pandemic has hit and we don't have any good sources of income; many people have lost their jobs, and they are thinking of gambling to benefit rather than saving.
I agree with that mate and I think it could not just benefit for those who gambling, but also for all individual who want to keep their day productive, improve psychological well being and make stable mental health. Gambling is addicting it's like taking drugs. To help cope with addiction it need serious therapy. One of the reason why people get addicted to gambling because they think in a way to get money instantly and when they lose a lot they keep doing if to get back their money. So people should be careful when involves money because it's truly really hard to earn money.
Majority of us are really striving to earn income on any source that we can possibly engage this is why we shouldnt really waste up those things just for gambling.

Addiction is indeed hard to get away from it once it had already overcome into yourself.Risk of getting addicted is high if you do keep engaging with gambling

even if you know that your funds arent really that sufficient on day to day living. So you should really be careful and be aware.
4110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 13, 2021, 04:59:16 PM
No need to worry because it is a good opportunity to buy more bitcoin before it will bounces back again. It's difficult to wait such opportunity, why not grab it because we know bitcoin has a bright future, no doubts about it.
This is we should have that thing on mind on where rather than on freaking out when we do saw price decline its better to see this as an opportunity to buy more while its still cheap

but honestly this isnt something that you can really decide off right away because you would always thought that the price might really be going even way lower than currently is.

We are sitting now on 48k which is already low and if those supports would be break out then expect for further dips but this isnt a bad point for you to enter the market
4111  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your bet? how many years could bitcoin go to its highest? on: May 12, 2021, 07:56:42 PM
We do not know the right answer and all of that will be speculations from us because we have our own hope to see bitcoin will reach the highest in a short time.
It could be 5 years, 10 years or even 15 years later bitcoin will reach the highest price, but we should know that we must prepare for that by trying to make more and more bitcoin from now on.
This year is a good time for bitcoin because we see the price now can increase more than $50k and who knows, in the next months, the price can jump to $100k.
But still, that is a mystery and we can only wait for that by trying to have many bitcoins.
Not really that interested much when it comes to future talks in regards with the price because nothing is assured because anything could happen on least expected.

Thing here is that we do hope for more adoption and recognition because this is where the value would really be depending on.Doesnt need to make bets nor

in a hurry because everything would come in line and we do just need to wait for it to happen.
4112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 12, 2021, 06:56:22 PM
...
Actually i believe that this is not yet considered as sport because what is the skill on this?
I just watched some videos and the skills part is on hitting the right spot. Opponents are likely to go down if they're hit right on the chin not on the cheek. Some competitors also have beards and I think that's a way to "hide" their chin.

....

I wonder if they even have a weight division for this. You would expect a 370 pounds guy to hit harder than a 250. They are not allowed to dodge so they could at least arrange it per weight class.
You're overlooking into things because there's no scientific proof that hitting one's chin is much more lethal than on hitting on the cheek. It all matters with the force on each slap and

doesnt really mind off too much on which spot where your hand will be landing on.Dont know if there are really some analysis into that but i dont really see any skills on this aside on
slapping out someones face.  Cheesy

Weight division is somewhat ideal because mass of each should really be that close.
4113  Other / Archival / Re: Yobit fake trade history on: May 12, 2021, 05:48:41 PM
yobit? even in 2019 there will be problems if these exchanges are inconsistent and insecure. yobit exchange does a lot of exchanges, so stop to be there and switch to another exchange

Yobit is one of the trash exchange which we need to stay away from it, a lot of fake volumes and the fake coin will list there. We need to be very careful with Yobit exchange and we should transfer our funds to other exchange which has higher security.
Not only with higher security but rather be more worth to deal on in terms of service given and the transparency and the smoothness of transactions that we would do.

Yobit doesnt have a good reputation on this forum and majority knows it to those who are aware but for new users then they should really be avoiding this exchange

if they dont like to experience some possible problems which might neither be get resolved or not knowing Yobit doesnt really answer out queries or complaints
into its users.
4114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: May 12, 2021, 04:40:23 PM
I strongly believe Doge will be a sustainable incremental coin, with the help of Tesla. And I believe in the management of Elon Musk, the number 1 billionaire in the world. Do you guys agree with me that Doge is the world's largest community-owned coin. And the US and EU communities are very fond of Doge
You wont able to know on whose actually been holding the most coins of DOGE or does have purchased big due to anonymity and you can be sure about US and EU community are the only ones who had been dealing with it.

On the question if its really not to be traded? Then how it would able to attain those higher peaks in terms of price if demand between buyers and sellers wouldnt exist on the first place?

You had forgotten on what are the factors needing for an improving market and that one doesnt involved any trades wont fit out on the criteria.
4115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sumo betting seems rigged - can you make profit with it? on: May 11, 2021, 11:43:41 PM
I know that Japanese are one of the most honest people in the world and it's part of their culture. But there really is the chance that a sumo game can be rigged but talking as if I'm sure of it, I can't stand with that as I have never bet with any sumo match.

By the way, in which common sports book we can see sumo wrestling matches to bet on?
When it comes to money then everything would change and also to think that not all would really be Japanese specially to those who had been organizing the event

therefore we can see chances of getting being rigged. So far i havent seen any bookies about sumo betting.
4116  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: May 11, 2021, 10:57:25 PM
Anyone who cares what the price has done over a 1 week period has invested more than they should have. If it's so much of a concern, you're over exposed. Price movements over a daily, weekly, or even monthly period are meaningless over the long term.

Everybody cared I guess, since that last correction was rather deep. Had Bitcoin only lost a thousand or two in a single day, it would have been tolerable. But it went from almost $65,000 to around $52,000 in around 3 days. It happened so quickly that it came as a surprise. I'm sure nobody expected it. Nobody braced for its coming. No doubt, it raised a few questions.

But it shouldn't be a cause for alarm or panic. If such correction elicited very strong emotional reactions, you're right, perhaps one's investment might be too much. Or perhaps one is just weak or too optimistic or too greedy.

Like you rightly said I don't think we should be so bothered about the drop, we saw the rapid increase from $18 last year November and how it transcends to the $65k you talked about, let the market shake off and let the pump start afresh. Just forget your portfolio for now and you will be good
But we should be mindful on our holdings too because opportunities for you to sell doesnt come often this is why you should be at least aware on when to get out and take profits.

Unless if you do go for long term then this wont really be an issue for you but if you are just swinging off basing with trends then be aware on when you should get out.

Market cant be called a market if the price is just moving one path or way or direction. There would always be uprising and downward movement thats why you should really be vigilant.
4117  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 reasons why you should buy Bitcoin right now (at USD 50K-53K) on: May 11, 2021, 10:18:53 PM
I'm really worried about the fall in BTC dominance and the rise of altcoins, isn't this the movement of end of bullrun season? Once altcoins takes over for sometimes it's a sign that by season is fading, anyways I will stick with my old plan which is taking profits and risking very little amount of money

You should do that and not to worry yourself that much, if you already settled with your plans then executing it is the best way for you.

No need to think of whatever possible next market run but instead focusing with how will you gained good compensations from this venue of investment, take whatever you can and pla again for your next move.

We should established this kind of mentality instead of stressing out ourselves during our stay inside the market.
Due to very unpredictable behavior of the market then its unavoidable on not for you to get stressed nor be mindful too much on what would be the next things to come in next hour or minute or day here on crypto space.

I agree into the things that you had said that it would be much better if you do really mind on what are the things you should do next basing off on what you had analyzed because we do all matter here in terms of profits

no matter what is the current market condition then you  should mind off on what are the next things you should do for you to utilize the movement and benefit out yourself.
4118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 11, 2021, 09:49:22 PM
The story about the girl is definitely unsettling. I hope that nobody finds themselves in such a situation and if they do that they would be brave enough to ask for help. As for getting help, I'm not sure if it's enough to just subscribe to one of these services. The first step must be accepting your addiction and be willing to stay away from gambling. Still, not being able to access gambling sites is probably helpful to some extent.

I hope these links will help someone who needs support. Don't give up!
Should be the right or initial thing that you would mind off is about self-realization and if you do really mean on quitting gambling then you should do it and dont tend to get involved into more gambling activity further.

Try to avoid all of the ways or things connected to it and you would slowly heal up on the process. Its up actually on someones self discipline and control because if you do really mean to quit then you can actually
do it.

Even though there are still instances that we cant really help out ourself too get away with addiction.
4119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: May 10, 2021, 11:54:43 PM
I can't understand why everyone is so up in arms against Elon Musk? This guy supported the market much more with his statements than the facts of buying and then selling 10% of the bought bitcoins. His twitter statements clearly show this. Thanks to his statements and position, the community of cryptocurrency users is expanding, which in my opinion is valuable in itself. His investments also play a positive role and give a signal to other big investors to buy, and as a result, this affects the rise in the price of bitcoin. Then what's the problem?
The ones who had been complaining are the ones who had lost up their money when they had bought into the peak and the suddenly the price had made some correction which
did really lead into frustration.  Cheesy

Anyone can jump and engage into the market its neither those richest person in the world or big companies out there. No one can stop them and if it turns out that they are
already messing with the market unintentionally, then whats your take?

Better to utilize those movements for your benefit rather than having these kind of complaints or whines.
4120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: May 10, 2021, 10:55:14 PM
Psychology or emotional in trading is a problem that almost all traders, beginners or professionals will experience. Psychology will attack when we are faced with a price that continues to fall and we buy at a fairly high price. this will test whether to Cut Loss or hold it. However, when the price goes up it is confused to sell or continue to hold it.

which of course we have to stick to our main goal, which is to get a profit. Regardless of the benefits, we should be satisfied.

do not panic when the market is not good, control your emotions and stick to the strategies that have been made.
Easy to say but when we are already on the actual market condition or experience then those kind of goals that you had set earlier will most likely be changed nor not be able to follow.

Controlling emotion is one of the hardest thing specially if you deal with this market which does have very volatile price which in result into panic when you do saw your
portfolio is dropping.

Experience is on of the main thing for you to able to suppress that emotion inside you. When you are experienced enough on various conditions
then reacting wont really be too obvious nor easily for you to freak out.
