4101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 19, 2021, 03:49:59 PM
In any case, Real Madrid also does not show results of a fantastic level in recent matches and a draw with Villarreal and the subsequent losses to Sheriff with Espanyol can hardly be called acceptable for a team of this level and with such ambitions. Therefore, despite the fact that I gave the advantage to Real Madrid, it cannot be said that Barcelona has absolutely no chance of achieving an acceptable result, what I would call a draw. However, the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona itself is a great sign and the players should give their best on the football field in full, regardless of the tournament situation and other external incoming factors happening with the clubs at a given time.

Essentially all the big clubs are now in flux in this league, except for Atletico who seem to be performing above and beyond what they're normally capable of!

Barca are strangely the favorites though even though they haven't done well against Real recently, even with Messi.

But as long as our kids play well, we always have a chance.
4102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a bull rally in nov-dec 21 then, which altcoin gives us 100x? on: October 19, 2021, 03:18:00 PM
You and everybody's grandma has heard of the same thing Smiley But you're probably talking about Stock to Flow model which is quoted even now by BBC and CBS and CNBC. When mainstream media quotes a non-mainstream anonymous guy, you know Bitcoin is getting heck of serious!

Altcoins already did their 100x this year, though, to answer your question. Unless BTC breaks 100k fast, most alts will only make a new ATH, not 100x of 2021's ATH.
4103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 19, 2021, 11:41:13 AM
I think Bitcoin is better and safer than gold. Because Bitcoin will be safe and secret as long as it is in your wallet. On the other hand, it is not possible to keep gold secret. Anyone can own Bitcoin. So I prefer Bitcoin.

It always depends on the context.

For you and for me, sure, better, "safer" but I wouldn't be too sure about security, knowing how everyone around me doesn't store passwords well, and even for myself, I didn't even guard one of my faucet accounts with 2FA to my detriment.

Gold's tough to steal. And if you're good, easier to conceal than Bitcoin.
4104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 19, 2021, 11:05:26 AM
I honestly don't see why neymar is still at PSG, besides he doesn't play almost anything all season, he doesn't score many goals at PSG, he has a good performance in the Brazilian team. i think neymar would be in teams like barcelona (ex his team) or real madrid or chelsea or city due to the style of play that is similar to his style of play. Just look at what's happening to messi on PSG, Is how if messi isn't even on the field when he play

Yeah he would be happier if he stayed with us at Barca but he was younger then when he left, and he wanted a new challenge, so can't blame him. And to prove he was the best, he wanted to help PSG become champions (half achieved but not in Europe).

I don't blame him, but I also don't feel like he doesn't deserve his place there.

His problem now is his price tag and salary. Can go up, hard to go down:)
4105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still bullish now? on: October 19, 2021, 09:34:14 AM
I'd rather put money into BTC and wait for that to grow in this rally.
I would say that BTC will not be making "that" much profit. Alts usually have a lot higher returns because bitcoin has such a huge market cap and the smaller coins have a lower cap so they are increasing a lot better. This means that there is a good chance you could literally make 10x while bitcoin makes 2x. I am not saying that SOL will be making 10x in the future neither, I do not know if that will happen or not, I am just guessing that it could do that a lot easier compared to bitcoin.

Yes, they are doing fine and yes there is a chance that it could go up and people are investing into it like they found the gem they are looking for but it has already increased so much which is why I am not sure if that is the one that they should be looking for. I believe that maybe something even lower could be something a lot better in the long run since it would have a longer path to success.

Alts always seem to make more because of low market cap and that influx of new investors (or shall I say speculators). But for every alt that moons, there are 10 or more that don't. And the speculator will probably lose out on a few for the sake of hitting the gold mine but that's a time consuming and capital spreading gamble that Bitcoin doesn't have.

That's the main difference for me. Peace of mind Smiley

Yeah Ratimov, well done.

I wish the gambling people who like to talk about strategy also put their strategies like this. And just keep track of threads with slips (like you show trading conclusions).

Most people either trading or gambling just talk a lot of crap, and don't give anything to proof that they actually put their theory into practice.

2 weeks profit is impressive but do you think you get this in a bear run also by the way?

I honestly was not expecting it to drop by this much ralle14 but as we agreed it is probably because of people busting and not depositing anymore due to high BTC price.

Today we saw another participant exit. We are 8 more away from reaching previous record.

Thanks for the clarification FJ Smiley So I guess it really is because of my deposit, which I haven't made in a long time true and fair enough.

I do hope the dormant account won't be taken away though and just left there allowing us to return to make a deposit when we can or want to.

Would be a shame to have to create another account when we decide we want to deposit again!
4109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first time using a Bitcoin ATM on: October 19, 2021, 05:52:57 AM
Hey man that is so cool Smiley I never got the chance but that's because there isn't any ATM near me or I might have used it already, even with high fees or whatever, just to try it.

Interesting that the only KYC they asked for was a mobile phone. I thought nowadays it was all about personal ID documents.

Regarding the wallet, they were asking you which wallet YOU used. I assume you just got the private key printed out on paper? You should sweep it into your own wallet Smiley
4110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still bullish now? on: October 18, 2021, 02:55:45 PM
For the long term the next 3-4 are indeed a good choice to invest in sol, maybe one day sol can compete with ETH in the future and become the next altcoin king. especially now that bitcoin is bullish at the moment, I don't think it's a problem trying to invest in solana with its current value of around $160.

If I'm being objective, SOL at this price compared to BNB at about 2.5 times the price, and CAKE at about 12.5% of the price, seems like another TRX 3 years ago. So yes, it should be good to buy now if you're willing to wait 3+ years for the next BTC halving cycle to push alts back up, but I'd rather put money into BTC and wait for that to grow in this rally.
4111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 18, 2021, 02:02:18 PM
Patience, we can beat Kiev, and then Real Madrid coming, but always one step at a time.
Barca has some of the best young talents at the moment: Fati, Pedri and Gavi are all top class and very young.  Barca just needs to get their finances in order and let those kids develop further. This could be a tough year but realistically CL qualification spot at the end of season would be acceptable result.

Next season all those kids will be one year older, more experienced and hopefully even better. Than it is time to start competing for trophies once again.

Yes and as I said before the best Spanish spine at the moment. I know it's not always important to club football that you also have domestic players but it feels very nice to see that the Spain team also has a lot of Barca running in its blood. Which still means we are doing something right. Unlike Real who sometimes play almost with no Spanish player on the field.

4th spot for me is absolutely fine this season. It would even be an achievement considering many things.
4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GRV Gravity token is a complete rug on: October 18, 2021, 12:49:38 PM
This token is a rebase token and it's not the first, my past experience about rebase tokens is they can't be trusted, it's more like a scheme of milking out your money every minutes until you are left with nothing, any rebase project I'm off

Spot on. I have no love for rebase tokens. All the ideas seem amazing, all the supply contraction seems logical, but speculators also all predict and then those who know the algo or the oracle source can easily front run, hence the failure of all rebase tokens.

None of the owners/devs actually are serious about the actual implementation, IMO.
4113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Misbehavior of Markets on: October 18, 2021, 12:12:30 PM
Markets always misbehave. Because markets are strongly depending on human factor, which is always misbehaving. Banks and financial systems realized this. Hence the failure of all predictive systems to predict crashes for the past 100 years.

4114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin transaction fee fixed? on: October 18, 2021, 10:41:15 AM
I should also add that since the last few years (IIRC 2017) there actually is a fixed floor fee which is 1 satoshi per byte. So this amount depends on the size of your transaction, in which I believe there is no new client anymore that allows you to send less than 1 satoshi per byte.

I was never lucky enough to send 0 byte (as I never knew before it was an option when I first used)  Cheesy
4115  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: October 18, 2021, 10:04:02 AM
darxiaomi are these market amounts the same for pre-live matches? I also noticed during live it is very hard to place bets, and I nowadays like to add a few live picks (with still early in game) to add to prelive multi legs to get my bets settled faster. That said I almost never more than 1x2 markets so I never notice if others are there.

One issue I find is it is hard to make some bets as the system doesn't always accept. Refreshing many times sometimes doesn't work. The T20 promo for example was very good, I have taken all the Cricket promos (freebets every time your outright pick wins). I opted in and tried to place bets but didn't work. And promo was only active 24 hours so I missed it (England of course must win!). GL to all who snatched the promo!
4116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: on: October 18, 2021, 08:56:19 AM
They just need to think inwards once more and not make the same mistakes.

Barcelona's victory against Valencia provides evidence that Barcelona can play well. I believe Barcelona has a bright future, most importantly
Barcelona do not repeat the mistakes of the past by buying too many star players at high prices. Barcelona must start to provide opportunities
for young players, then slowly the young players owned by Barcelona will show their quality. As has been shown by Ansu Fati, he played very well,
his contribution was very big when Barcelona beat Valencia. I'm also happy that Gavi was trusted as a starter, indeed the young players that
Barcelona have should be given more opportunities to play. Hopefully Barcelona's victory will continue in the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv,
so when facing Real Madrid in La Liga Barcelona players are more prepared.

We didn't need evidence of it actually, we've seen enough of our youngsters to know we have talent, and even our old team core admits that's the future. We didn't give Messi's shirt to Fati for fun, or Gavi didn't excite everyone at the Nations League finals, these are just some small examples.

As I said, we just need to focus one game at a time and then get ourselves out of debt.

And fix our damn stadium!

Thank you for the encouragement everyone. I wish I was luckier in my games and betting, so this type of competition is perfect for me. Not fully relying on luck and at the same time not fully requiring you to have such a big balance.

Also it was nice to get a nice hit on Soccer Blackjack for Flamengo recently and that really helped!

And good news for us, we saw 5 more people fall. This was a surprise for me as it is more than 1 person a day!

4118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 18, 2021, 06:34:34 AM
Not an easy game for Barca, but probably it we won't havemany easy games this season. But I think our win is well deserved. Fati still not ready to play 90 minutes, but he already gives a lot for Barca. Finally, debut of Aguero, though, he played just for few minutes
Now we are moving to very important Champions League game and El Clasico next Sunday.

We need to protect that kid with our lives, not to mention upcoming Spanish stars in our B team. I think on the basis of performance even at this recovery stage he gives us something to really shout for, but we just need to remember he is still a kid after all, and already the shirt number is a huge pressure that he shows such maturity to overcome.

Patience, we can beat Kiev, and then Real Madrid coming, but always one step at a time.

First of all, who would have thought SPURS NEWCASTLE could provide us a HIGH bust right?

And second of all, REGRET that I missed last night's one. If it was the early selection I would have for sure put money but it came on too late for me to see as I think when I looked for the last time the Spurs one was still active:)

Congrats to you guys vd309 and coinlocket$ I guess we have 2 new fans playing with us everyday!
4120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: on: October 18, 2021, 04:53:41 AM
If Barca had been smarter, it would have used all of that money to build better, improve stadium and youth and expand. Instead they threw money away to get Coutinho and others.
That is true, they did sell a lot of jerseys of messi, and even griezzman, and even suarez to be fair. However them lacking those players doesn't mean that they will not make any revenue at all, they will keep on making money both from league, TV rights, sponsorship, gate keipts, champions league and so forth.

What they have to do is not to look getting back to that revenue level, but try to drop the costs, that way they will be doing fine. They are capable of paying 100-150 million total for the players, even as much as 200 million, and lets say they have another 200 million running operational costs as well. That is 400 million, let's put up another 100 million for unexpected stuff and they got 500 million dollars cost. Even without jersey sales, that's AT LEAST 100+ million a year, and even then some if they could end up with some success.

Koeman is not the manager for that, but if they could get rid of excess players and put up good talented young players, and get a manager like Xavi, making 700-800 is not impossible and that would be 200-300 profit each year. Even with less revenue, as long as you have less debt then you can get out of it easily, it all depends on dropping the costs.

Yeah, excellent points. They have lost a LOT but they need to focus on what they still have, and thankfully, they have a huge fanbase where the majority aren't just about Messi or whoever it is. And last night's game displayed that they still have a bright future, a wonderful youth and new heroes.

And a great No. 10 who can one day sell just as many shirts.

They just need to think inwards once more and not make the same mistakes.
