What if a malicious attacker uses it to intentionally cripple a machine? You're essentially creating a willing botnet with a huge amount of power that could cripple the host computer. I suppose as the difficulty rises the odds of finding a block are greatly decreased, and the odds of it happening would be considerably less likely, but just the thought is a little scary.

Looks about right. Have you changed the username and password from default? I had to do that. Post your minerd bat file configuration. Hello, that is all from my particle.conf, i don't change anything. where i can get rpcusername and password ?? You should just be able to connect. the user and pass is just for solo mining. Try changing the port number and restarting your wallet. |

A coin that utilises both CPU and GPU as close to 50/50 as possible would put botnets to shame, and actually a fair few Scrypt-only mining games. My gaming rig would actually do fairly well.

Just people seem to of got greedy i have had 1 donation of 28 coins from one superb member of the forum .. but just 1 donation seems very low when scammers make a fortune conning... so if i got only one donation how many has the developer got i bet not many....

I like it. I think Cat Coin has a future. What we need is people to start rolling out services that use Cat Coin. The dumpers aren't going to support this coin. Thanks just hope people donate a bit to help all of the serious people making catcoin strong. so please donate a little if you can every catcoin counts I've been here since the start. Helping any way I can. Unfortunately come down with a pretty nasty winter bug though, so I'm not on full form right now, but once I'm better I'll be back to doing giveaways and getting this coin moving. |
