We are all bound to a prison we don't see made of bars so hidden that everyone believes we live in the best system possible. Let's wait for the ende of the referendum and this will be clear once again.

Ronaldo did his part but come on guys he can't do everything himself. I don't know how he can cope and struggle with his team. I would have lost hope long before the time.

Two goals in one game is not easy in international games however with his two goals, portugal has qualifiedfor the next round so I thin people should stop critisizing him. He got too much burden on himself and he still needs his teammates to help him carry that burden

You are saying exactly what I said but in different terms. I did not criticize him, the opposite. I said it has to be really hard for someone like him to take all that burden on his shoulders.
4123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 23, 2016, 06:46:23 AM
Mornings have been better than this one. Really not nice to see red everywhere. In the last 7 days there has been a -20% change regarding the price.

And I am very curious to see whether the BREXIT vote will affect the market or not
4124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There IS life after DEATH: Scientists reveal shock findings on: June 23, 2016, 06:40:36 AM
I do not need any scientific proof there will be life after death. Why do we need such a revelation? To avoid looking at our present which is the most valuable thing we have right now.
No man, life after death? I simply don't care sicne I am alive NOW

Coinbase Integrates PayPal to Broaden its Reach

San Francisco-based Coinbase is continuing its growth, seeing a significant rise in registration this month alone.

Founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, the Bitcoin-based firm has made considerable progress since its inception.

Now, with PayPal integration, the company is opening more options for sellers within the Bitcoin landscape.

I used to think this could have been a great news. I'm not very sure today: yes paypal is a huge thing but since I think paypal is the digital equivalent of western union I don't know if to be happy or not.

Yes there would be a greater adoption but at what cost?
4126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN/DISCUSSION] Silk Network: Silk, DarkSilk and Weaver on: June 23, 2016, 06:32:23 AM
well done on the recent progress. I've been actively staking for more than one week the nice old beautiful silkcoin and works like a charm.
Looking forward the new darksilk release.

Anyway, what happened to poloniex?

Yes the poll I've posted is subject to change.

Anyway today is the day we just have to wait and see. Personally I feel that something like this big can not be left to the "people": don't misunderstand me I'm saying that whatever will happen was planned before.

I don't believe we have any "democratic" power over this
4129  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-22] DAO attacker ROCKS again! on: June 22, 2016, 03:16:06 PM
So this is becoming like a situation comedy crypto related: actually funny, super funny.

Come on let the DAO die and move on. It was a dead experiment since the beginning: you can't ask all this money if you don't know what you are doing.

The "leavers" are ahead with 45% against 44%, really interesting. Tomorrow is the day and it could probably reflect a bit on bitcoin price as well.

In any case I hope what I've read about this WW3 is not true otherwise... I really can't tell.
4131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 22, 2016, 03:07:06 PM
Maybe a draw is a good bet for Italy-Austria while Belgium should win against Sweden.
Regarding Portugal they have to win otherwise they are out with no glory
4132  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-21] Bitfinex exchange platform brought down indefinitely due to datacen on: June 21, 2016, 02:55:38 PM
From Finex twitter
Quote
We are not confident in the network stability of our datacenter so we have elected to take trading down for the time being.

Ok then I AM NOT confident in exchanging a single cent with you guys anymore since you proved yourselves to be a bunch of amateurs.

And, by the way, I totally agree with TraderTimm
4133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have lost more than $100 in a day... on: June 21, 2016, 02:52:14 PM
Come on guys, finex blackout led the crash. Finex is a leading BTC exchange and if it collapses, well, bitcoin is affected.

Now it seems up and running again but let's see what happens since some panic has started
4134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex crash: Soft Fork Now! and after a hard fork on: June 21, 2016, 02:47:27 PM
I propose a soft fork now to blacklist bitfinex bitcoin adreeses and after that a hard fork so we revert the bitcoin blockchain before bitfinex crash. If this happen all the ppl can get their money back and to revert the mistake that have done. If this happen we give a good signal to the media that there is guts to bitcoin system and that we can protect always our friends. I advice anyone to be more carefull in the future.

 Grin

I don't know, this suggestion seems to me so much ethereal...

 Tongue

Simply clever!

Exchange can not be trusted. They are run in a way that they are not able to meet an increasing demand. This whole story of network problems, maintenance, failures etc. can not be believed anymore.

We have so many examples and I am sick of them all.

All government news outlets will be kicking into high gear to put fear into the voters' heads.

Must be difficult to campaign against such a huge media apparatus.

They already did it with the Scotland Independence referendum and they are doing it again.

According to the following polls the vote is really uncertain.

I mean brits don't care about the EU let's face it. They were clever enough to avoid accepting the EURO currency and they could eventually dismantle the union.

Britain has centuries of experience running a union. It would be in their best interest to reform rather than dismantle.

I don't see why they should help reforming the european union, really. I think they got a lot from the EU but they can live without it. Maybe it's the EU that can't live withput them.
4136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-21] Bitfinex Outage Causes Bitcoin Price Flash Crash on: June 21, 2016, 10:14:34 AM
Bitfinex is probably the most important and renowned BTC exchange. It's normal that if finex crashes something will happen to the price.
It's really hard to trust any exchange nowadays
4137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 21, 2016, 09:40:41 AM
BFX down again  Cry

so it was not just me, good I emptied my btc addresses on finex lately. I don't want to leave them on the exchanges now. I think now it's the right time to simply wait until the halving
4138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 21, 2016, 09:37:19 AM
Tonight there are very interesting games happening for EURO 2016. I see Galles winning on Russia and maybe a draw for Slovakia-England
But I'm not sure whether to try a double chance or not.

Quoting myself for a very nice and profitable small parlay.
Slovakia England's draw paid well and I could not ask for more.

for tonight I think Poland, Germany and Spain will win their respective games.

My bet on today's game

Russia vs Wales it is going to be a draw 1-1
Slovakia Vs England i expect a win for England 0-1
Nothern Ireland Vs Germany going with Germany to win by 0-2
Ukraine Vs Poland im going to go with poland 0-1

as usual i am going to spend some dime on these, hope my loosing streak ends here Grin

Nothern Ireland Vs Germany and Ukraine Vs Poland will play tomorrow. You gave me an idea, I'll play more or less like you suggested and if tonight our predictions will be good I will try to adjust to have a sure win tomorrow.
This implies I have to play only one of tomorrow games
