Small new for 2026.

As you may know, engines are locked until 2026 but they already talked about it.

The will improve in 4 years giving more power to the Hybrid part.

Redbull now wants to ask FIA to be able to spend more money than the others team because they consider themself a new manufacturer of engines.  Roll Eyes

They are capable of doing that, but I doubt that the engines that they'll make will not have any DNA of Honda engines which they used for a long time. I'm excited with this new season for Ferrari, Merc, and Red Bull. Ferrari and Red Bull so far has been contending for the best car, with Mercedes having some issues lately. Perhaps Red Bull spending more and focusing on creating their new engines will pay off, but Ferrari is still doing their own magic too with their cars.
4122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 13, 2022, 11:58:58 PM
Given their fame and the amount of influence these guys have, I partly agree that they shouldn't partake in any activity promoting and advertising gambling. Though their target market is obviously the adults which can gamble, there is no way that they can control what the youngsters can see online or in the TV. Most of the time when young people see their idols advertise something, they tend to want it, or copy whatever it is that their idol is doing because they think it can make them look cool. Then again it's really a controversial law because it only targets the gambling sector and not other sectors which may also have a negative effect on the young population (liquors, tobacco-based stuff, etc.)

But still, I think it will be an easy place for Nigma to get back to div 1.

This one I doubt heavily. They'd need to reevaluate and reflect on things that they did so wrong in Div 1. Imagine getting beat by teams whose playstyle you know so hard and whose players you always encounter in pubs, that means there is a problem with the way they play and the way they take on these types of games. Removing iLTW completely and placing Kuroky as a coach instead of a player is a start, but I guess that's one move they won't really do because iLTW is a 'friend' and Kuroky is the 'boss' they don't have the balls to speak up against, even if the latter's game and performance is what drags them on games that matter.
4124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: April 13, 2022, 04:39:41 PM
I feel like its not worth it... its just an easy way to continue with a sample game

Maybe you and I like the real game more than a simulation, but simulation games have their audience. They have more than that, TV shows, commentators, a lot of people are behind all that! So I wouldn’t say it’s not worth it, maybe it’s not big yet, but I think it has the potential to grow in the future! Simply people like simulations, there are many simulation games around, and I guess with technology these games will be better and more wanted!

Although Simulation games are not so popular but still they are liked by many people.

Since we are discussing this from the gambling point of view, do we have any bets on simulated games?  I haven't heard of any.

What do you mean by any bets on simulated games? There are some platforms that offer these events on their lineups, though the events in which you can bet on is very limited. I myself have never seen such a line on Pinnacle or Nitrogensports that I can bet on. Most of the time, that section of the platform is empty. On rare occasions that it ever gets bet on, I only see the results on betslips that people are sharing and that's it.
4125  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: April 13, 2022, 03:27:03 PM
Not a pro on these fields but other third-party auditors and independent sources are checking the reliability and the integrity of these casinos with such algorithms. They themselves probably play on these platforms, and if they see any irregularities on the way the algorithm behaves, they would then try to dig deeper and check whether or not the algorithm is to be trusted or not. Of course, they can publish reports that have some tinge of malice in it, and it's really the judgment and due diligence of the player that will matter the most in the end.
4126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 13, 2022, 12:09:05 PM
Well, for me the point (essence) of promotions is for the casino to promote themselves to get more "new" gamblers to join the casino. Some of the promotions are there to get existing gamblers to gamble more. (Races/Championships/Tournaments/Challenges)

So, if the RTP is too high to pay for all of this, you will get new people to gamble and your existing gamblers will eventually get frustrated and they will leave. It turns into a cycle that will eventually "kill" the casino... because you will not keep the doors open, if "new blood" does not join the casino and the old gamblers leaving.  Roll Eyes

Right. There needs to be an equal stress on the importance of promotion and RTP. But ultimately, RTP is what carries a platform's profits in the long run. If not for RTP, casino player base might see a steep drop as time progresses. Newbies are only there for the bonuses. Once that runs out, they also hop in to another casino for the bonuses. If you can give them an incentive to stay and play for long, they'll do that on themselves and they would need not the insistence of the platform.

Now keeping an eye on OG game since I have them to win 2:0 as well. Seems like we have a lot of 2:0 games lately, trying to profit from it.

OG just won 2-0 against Brame, something I'm not really surprised about with how well everyone is performing in their last few series. ATF seems to be more disciplined despite keeping that early aggressiveness in his games. As opposed to him diving on supports that absolutely has no value whatsoever on their past few games. He's changed; for the better, and it's certainly helping the team a lot.

Looking at the teams on the division 2, it's going to be a tough retrieval for them. They will be the most experienced on that division but those teams that are in there are also good teams. I'm not just familiar with two teams, IVY and Winter Bear.

Nigma still has a chance to get back to div 1 after all, as two teams will be taken from div 2 to div 1.

Never hears of those two teams as well, and their players are not entirely known in the EU scene. But as Wings gaming taught us in TI6, even the relatively unknown players can take on even the most experienced teams in Dota, given enough exposure and matches with them.
4128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 12, 2022, 09:25:38 AM
Impressed to see Gladiators are doing it on their rankings and at the top currently.

Two more games for most of the teams and I think Team Secret can still recover if the other teams(Brame & Entity) on their top will get a lose and they'll win with their remaining matches.

Whilst for Nigma, I don't think that they'll make it and they'll be going now to division 2.

Nigma is done for in this current run. They don't appear to be ready for what's coming and it shows on how they handle team fights, drafts, and basically every decision-making in the game. Miracle, Gh, and MC is being held back by poor performances of Kuroky and iLTW combined. Hopefully they pull through on div 2, but them losing to Brame in such a horrible manner is a testament that they can't really hold themselves against new teams that claimed the spot for EU's prime.

I've seen some in Just-Dice and Primedice alright, and it was years ago when bitcoin was still worth $10,000 a piece. 10 btc per roll and it lasted for an hour or so. Just forgot who that user was but he was legendary in the platform and a household name since I've known the site. There was also this guy in Nitrogensports showing a 300 btc slip for GSW back in 2018 which won. Not a lot of USD value back then but still a huge number nonetheless.

I would be surprised but just like everyone it'll just be a normal day for me. Also, he still has the right to sell all of his coins if he wanted to. If he tried to do so during this time everyone and their mother would surely know who he is as exchanges will most probably catch where the coins came from, and we all know that the guy values his anonymity more than anything so it's probably not gonna happen. My take is he'll just pop once and disappear again, without ever touching his coins from his known addresses.
4131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 09, 2022, 06:22:30 PM
It's good if this also comes with education on athletes that receive bitcoin as bonuses. This is just publicity for crypto.com to make their brand seem like they're promoting crypto for the future. They are in some way but ultimately the one who benefits more is them and not the other parties involved in the deal.

The good thing is, people will have the chance to hear about crypto when watching their sport (UFC), and may even be interested in researching more about cryptocurrencies as a whole due to this deal made by crypto.com with the athletes.

Liquid vs Tundra Dota2

Can Liquid take some revenge against Tundra ? I think Matumbamann has something to prove against Tundra and he will.

Series is best of 3 and taking over2.5 maps as a bet looks attractive but I'm skeptical about Tundra winning a map today.

I got Liquid +1.5 and with the way things are going, it has a good chance of hitting. Tundra getting good at the early game but losing their composure in the mid game is just nuts. This recent DPC season I have high hopes for them, but apparently they are showing signs of slowing down after that clean sweep from OG. This game 2 skiter is randomly pressing BKBs and that fight at the bottom just made their early rosh worthless. Idk what's happening, but it's not going in favor of Tundra so far.

Sportsbet.io is my go-to for sports betting. Lots of promotions on major tournaments and support is fast enough to answer all questions regarding withdrawals, match results, and other inconveniences that occurs within the platform. Also, odds that they offer on most of their lines are awesome too, plus the live sports bet lines that they have is something that you don't often see in some other crypto bookies. Stake is a solid platform too but I find their website hard to navigate but that's just me.

I visited your website and tried testing some things including the 24/7 chat support that doesn't work every time I clicked it. Is it not working and in maintenance or it is a bug on my end? I tried that yesterday and today but it is still not working.

Can confirm it isn't working just yet. Personally if I was the admin of the platform; I wouldn't ship anything that is still in development on the live site. It just makes the site look fishy for claiming that a 24/7 live support is present when in reality there isn't one to be found just yet. All things aside though, site looks neat and not overly flashy. Easy on the eye with the UI so far.
4135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 08, 2022, 03:36:26 PM
Promotion is equally important, but RTP is no doubt, the better choice for better player retention and if one really wants to play for a long time on a single platform. For business perspective, promotion is the most obvious choice. They would need to rake up the numbers of players in their platform in order to ramp up their revenue, but without RTP, they can't keep that same number of players intact for too long. Then again, loyal players to the platform tend to spend more money than new comers, so why not scale up the RTP but keep the promotions open?

I'm a fan of platforms with generous RTP. They're in it to build a community AND profit, but not at the expense of player experience on the platform itself.
4136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 08, 2022, 01:31:37 PM
Personally I'd only bet on things that I know about and just keep on learning about the things that I don't just yet. Casino games are actually easy to learn, though the card games are the ones that elude me since I know nothing about those, hence why I avoid it like the plague and just stick to sports, esports, and dice/slots. I could have tried to learn blackjack or other casino card games but with the schedule I have, I can just stick with what I have and learn to make do with it.

I don't win much on casino games but on esports and sports, I can rake in $100 a week if games are abundant.

Anyone watched that OG v GG? Casters were only noticing how well bzm and Yuragi played but man they are missing out big time on Taiga. That dude is so good as a pos 4 even way back on his days in Liquid. His subtle setups in teamfights make the fights look easy, especially during that game 2 against GG. Always knows when to throw his skills and when to disengage. It will be a shame to see him not get many wins with his exemplary performance on this DPC season.

All of the OG player is performing well on the game. There hero for pos 3 to 5 is so strong and always counter the GG hero draft. It's  normal for the commentators to notice the core heroes most of the time if all of the players is performing well. The only time support have the spotlight is when their cores is not performing yet they win the game by doing some good highlights game play. In my local commentator, Ammar game is what being notice most the time because OG win is always relying on his performance. Most of the lose of OG is when Ammar can’t win his lane or he fails to give a proper setup during team fight.

Even the EN casters notice Ammar's performance on both games, but little attention towards Taiga who has been setting up good rotations for bzm and Ammar. For me, the MVP on both games is really Taiga. Biased I know, but he just enabled his cores on tricky fights that they could have lost. Not enough credit on those bushwacks and those ults that have always connected, enough to take down one enemy which gives an advantage to the team.

Oh well, glad that OG has been performing really well. They deserve the wins as you can see that their chemistry is already starting to brew something positive for the team.

I really understand your point because all his bushwhack is pretty on point to catch enemy and save team mates on game 1. His game 2 hoodwink is the best since his bushwhack is perfect setup to kunka combo skill which surely obliterate enemy that they will caught. The final clash on the river is the best when they the turn around clash while they are chasing by all the member of GG. He caught 4 hero of GG that completely erase when kunka benefits on that setup..

Do you think OG is back again? Or still choke in after group stage?

With the way they are playing, my take is they can carry this momentum forward. Ammar is the only weak link I'm currently seeing for OG. That kid is good, no doubt,  ut his extreme cockiness and inconsistency makes the ordeal really painful for the team on games where he is expected to deliver. I do like the fact that he's a flexible player that can do mid with Huskar, and it helps when they are outdrafted on the first picking phase, but then again Huskar isn't an all-rounder mid laner that can carry in mid-late game.

Personally, if Ammar can be consistent with his performance, this OG lineup can even win majors or even TI. Honestly Taiga is what saves Ammar on losing the lane with the dude's constant application of pressure on the 5 support which isolates the carry of the enemy.
4138  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are a few of the best apps that you’ve used for sports betting? on: April 07, 2022, 05:55:35 PM
I tried CBS Sports once during the 2019 NBA playoffs and it was, at that time, sufficient for what I need to know and what news surrounds the teams that I want to place my bet on. Its interface is easy on the eye and not that cluttered compared to theScore, plus it loads fast on my iPhone and every information that I need is easily accessible with a few taps and not getting lost in the app.

For eSports I just use hltv.org for CS:GO or liquipedia to check for matches. Most of the odds I check on three different bookies, and it has been working so far for my needs.
