Although the Washington Wizard was dominating the play in the first 3 quarters, the Philadelphia 76ers manage to snatch the win in the last minutes of the game. Joel Embiid displays a very promising performance. also, Beal got 60 points from this game despite their loss.
Indeed a great performance for Beal. Last time was Curry with 62 points.
Monster offensive games for these guys. Expecting Beal could keep that up and I am sure they will get a win next time.

It's just not good that they didn't win. Another notable player was Gordon Hayward, he scored 44 points and gave his team a win against the Atlanta Hawks. We thought signing him was a bad move by the Hornets, but it looks like he was a blessing to the team.
4122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 04, 2021, 03:03:02 PM
Just when everyone is bashing Curry and saying he can’t lead a team... Wow. He now has a higher career high than LeBron, Giannis, Harden, Kawhi and many others. What a perfect time for him to have a breakout game. Too bad Klay had to get injured. As others have shown though, great of him to immediately congratulate his brother. Great night for NBA basketball.

Yeah, we were wrong, Curry is the same Curry that brought the GSW to the NBA Finals and won. You see how fun they are playing, they have a good chemistry now and I can see the same old warriors who are moving the ball very well. Hopefully they'll be consistent all through the season, and prove the doubters wrong by getting a playoff spot.

What do you think are their chances?
4123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy New Year Bitcoiners on: January 04, 2021, 02:18:55 PM
Correction is coming right now and many people not ready when looking bitcoin crash down because few hours altcoin exactly with ethereum raise above $1,000. Right now many moment happen on bitcoin and altcoin because after break higher price just wait correction time is coming and bitcoin or altcoin going down so far. Maybe few days will correction before bitcoin and altcoin back to higher price.
Is it the same scenario we are witnessing in 2018?

What happened that time was bitcoin was dumping for the entire month of January, therefore this is a crucial month as bitcoin was so bullish last month, so this month should be interesting. Maybe there's a little panic if bitcoin will trade consistently at $25k.. I don't want this to happen but it's likely to happen if we are talking of correction.
4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance rising again. What is happening? on: January 04, 2021, 02:00:29 PM
Such a massive correction going on right now in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin has plummeted from $34,000 to $30,000 in a few hours and its market dominance has fallen from 72% to 68%. I am still not sure about what caused this correction. Probably it is the short term investors indulging in profit booking (which was more or less expected by most of us).

A 10% drop after such a huge growth is a small thing. It's another matter if it continues. I think the days after the holidays will be decisive when all the major players will return to the market - then we will see the effective price of bitcoin.

That could be the start of the long correction, but who would know, right? Everyone was watching how bullish bitcoin is and now it dump below $30k, that must be something and that might have a significant effect to the next movement.
4125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 04, 2021, 01:31:46 PM
I've just watched the highlights of the fight. That was a battle, a toe-to-toe battle. But the younger fighter indeed proved that he is more than just a rising star. He is not just a potential star either. He is now the star.

Campbell, although 11 years Garcia's senior at 33, proved to be someone who is worthy to test Garcia's skill and power. That left hook which dropped Garcia for the first time in his entire budding career somehow tested Garcia's will inside the ring. And I was really amazed that Garcia, however young he is as a professional boxer, didn't feel small after that. He must have been shocked by Campbell's power but it didn't stop him from attacking and being aggressive.

Garcia though he was down but he was not hurt, he was still fighting that round so maybe the reason why one of the judges scored 10-9 in favor of Campbell. It was really an exciting fight, though Campbell lose but people respected him as knocked down Garcia which is almost unbeatable.
4126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 04, 2021, 01:09:42 PM
Looks like the Lakers got their 3rd straight win with Memphis, Do you think they are already synchronizing to each other when they play on the court now? It seems like everything was going well for them this season. just look at the score.

Some NBA fans say the Lakers roster before was better, which I automatically didn't agree. Though they started slow by lossing against their rival city Clippers, but I don't think that does define how the Lakers would play this season.
Infact, the Lakers looks really scary this season. They have a good starter, and have almost equally good bench players.
Harrel and Schröder acquisition is enough to say the Lakers has a huge shot on back to back championship.

They have a lot of good addition this season, as we can see, they are rotating their players very well, and that makes them very productive. Mark Gasol played 23:40 minutes, and Harrell 20;00 minutes. Also, don't forget they got Wesley Matthews which is a good shooter, he was 4-6 from beyond the arc in this win.
4127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: January 04, 2021, 10:56:31 AM
2020 is over, there's no altcoins season that year, so we would move this year and hopefully it will come.

Ethereum broke $1,000 already, it could be a good start but we are not yet there.
If bitcoin will dump, things are not clear because eventually ETH will follow.

I have a feeling that bitcoin will not stand its bullish trend, and it will do a correction anytime soon.
4128  Economy / Speculation / Correction has started? on: January 04, 2021, 10:35:09 AM
Bitcoin dumping so fast, it's very red now.

From $33k today, bitcoin has dump to $28k..

What's next for this, and what's the dip?  Love to hear your thoughts on what is happening now.

4129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: January 04, 2021, 09:57:15 AM
Insurance for betting is a dream that won't be achieved i think, betting means risk, it means losses for some parties and big wins for other ones.
Not anyone would dream for it, the bettors and the insurer would never agree with the insurance premium.
Thing does not exist to be realistic and will never exist.

Basically, even if some foundation tries to establish such a service, it should be directly in touch with alot of bookmakers which is not likely to be happening.

I don't think one have already established an insurance in gambling, I tell you, they are not even thinking of it.
4130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: January 04, 2021, 09:11:28 AM
But I guess that the win money will not be too big, but that will not be a problem if we can accept that.

Big or small, it's still a win, and that's what you need to do, win most of the time and eventually you'll win bigger.

With proper discipline in managing your bankroll, you can easily turn your $1000 even to $1 million in time, nothing is impossible in gambling as long as you have the skills. Odds, news, and anything related, you need to be aware of that so you can make a great decision.
4131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 03, 2021, 11:53:56 PM
Clippers vs Suns. Under 218.5

Now at 215.5... there's a big drop but I think I'm gonna take it, bookies knows what's gonna happen, seems like this would go under so I would not hesitate on this line. Good luck bro!

Eyeing on the suns vs Clippers too.  From +1.5 to +3.5 Suns, will Clippers win this one.
I'm putting a little bet on the Clippers -3.5..also doing some live bet.
4132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 03, 2021, 11:29:33 PM
Still a good win though, despite we all know that he will win or maybe this is just a cherry pick for King Ryan. This is a perfect ending or beginning for him, getting knock down, gets off the canvass, then that perfect body shot that reminds of Hopkins vs Dela Hoya.
That's a bad cherry picking if you'll ask me, Ryan Garcia almost loss in this fight, lucky for him he was able to get up and continue the fight.
Campbell is good but he is not yet in the level of Ryan Garcia, but this boy give a good challenge.

at the back of Campbell's mind, maybe its screaing "ALMOST"..

Let's hear if WBC will order Haney now to face Garcia. Although it is complicated as there are 2 mandatories, Fortuna and now Garcia.

Love to see a Haney vs Garcia, I'm wondering what the betting odds would be, who will be the favorites in this fight.
4133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 03, 2021, 11:09:38 PM
Someone told me that roobet gives streamers and promoters free pretend money, so they stream/promote roobet with fake numbers .. and as payment  for the promotion they can only cash out a fraction of their "winnings".

I would normally not believe it, but the person who told me is pretty trustworthy. Is this really happening?
They get paid for promoting the casino(half of the profit) and the streamers usually play with the casino money. I don't think they get the won amount fully but have no proof to prove this. Anyway, I don't believe the lucrative promos on Twitch and Youtube.

All of that are just speculation, we can't prove that though it's possible, every site would do everything to promote their site, so let's just consider it as a normal trick to entice gamblers but it's not illegal or something.

I guess focusing in sports betting is just the right thing to do, at least you can just stay at home, study the games and analyze it, very fit for the current set up under the covid-19 pandemic.

I would add playing poker to that; playing and, of course, studying how the best current pros are doing it. I'm watching channels like World Poker Tour, partypokerTV and PokerStars on a regular basis, and it works for me. It's really entertaining to learn something from the best, and then apply it in practice. But the keyword is "entertaining" here. I'm not planning to make my living from playing poker. Although I consider poker the most skill based game around, there's still too much luck involved to rely on it as a source of income.

It really depends on how you treat gambling or a certain game, if you don't like to venture on a higher risk, then treating it as an entertainment is more than enough to enjoy and be thrilled in gambling. Poker, yes it's a skilled based games but I think sports betting is easier.

I feel that I don't have good gambling skills, making gambling as entertainment is more than enough. I also agree with you that sports
betting is indeed easier than poker games, where Poker does require skill to win. Therefore, currently in a pandemic situation and I'm doing
many activities at home, it is most suitable for me to focus on sports betting. Besides being able to entertain, I can get additional income
if I'm lucky that the betting results are correct.

At least you are honest with yourself, that way you'll not think of risking a big amount of money in gambling, and less expectation of winning from you since your real purpose is just to win, win some and lose some, that's a typical gambler and most of us belong to that.

4138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: January 02, 2021, 11:18:00 AM

Since that may 2011 I can say Bitcoin has succeeded in churning out tens of thousands of more Greg's. As at the time of this post Greg's regret was worth $13,600, a princely sum by any standards at the time.
But its now worth a mindbogglingly $49M+!

Don't underrate an idea who's time has come.

Just Hodl..........

If we only know the future then we would hold, unfortunately we don't have a time machine so we never know what's coming. For some people they can hold longer but for sure they are already contented so they sell for a profit, and for me that's the most important thing to consider, be contented and you'll enjoy investing once it succeed.

Thing is, what if bitcoin dump and loss its value, I think Greg did a great job then.
4139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 02, 2021, 10:56:10 AM
Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant is back but they got a big loss against Hawks at home. One more time we saw this small rotation would not be enough for Brooklyn this year.
They have to bring more veteran players to make squad stronger. They get almost no help from bench players. I think they need at least 2 good shooters in bench. All work can't be done by starting 5.
At first, I'd admired their good start this season. But after a few games, the same analysis you've made is what we can see for their team. We've thought that they'll be consistent from these few games that they have.

They'll adjust, it was a tough loss but what's important for this team is to be in the playoffs which for sure they can make it. Atlanta Hawks has improved, so we cannot underestimate them, but for sure Nets will bounce back with a big win.

Quote
But who do you think will be a good addition to them?
They're good already, they just need to improve the chemistry.
4140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: January 01, 2021, 10:50:30 PM
I think it happens to everyone at one point or another. I've sold my BTC share in 2018, when price was around 4k. I just was shortsighted. Didn't see potential. And now it's around 30k. Coulda made x8 if I didn't jump the ship. Well, past is past and now I've got some more. Hopefully hodling turns out better for me this time.

Yea, you right bro. BTC has a way of giving us an opportunity of a fresh start. Whether at $0.1, $1, or $100000 any start on the rough, unpredictable ride of BTC seems perfect at the rate its going.

Me too I restarted my hodl journey recently.

Me not doing it until there's a correction and I see bitcoin dump with significant amount. I don't want to ride with the train now as I don't know where it's going, yes it may continue to pump but I'm sticking with the best method to buy bitcoin at its dip.
