I'd suggest hold on to your USDT or better look for some opportunities in altcoins as BTC is going to rebound for sure and will be worth less than your sold price but not sure when (too soon TBH), but if you want to flip your money into something that's worth least atm, you may try out bzrx or simply wait for the reversal to happen and buy back lower BTC.
It's true that nobody can hold when they're unsure about the certainty of a pump, that's what FUD is all about.

When bitcoin and altcoin going down better hold in USDT balance and buy back after get good news and have chance back again to higher price, very risk if you keep holding assets during have lower price and best chance after going up sell it before down, then you can buy back again if price back to higher price, if price keep down never hold it and sell or try to re invest when have chance at lower price. I know many people keep believe when price up always have chance going up but late price down and panic for selling coin.

I also experienced this often, sometimes I feel dissatisfied with the current sales rate and it turns out that the rate continues to increase. But on the other hand, we should be quite satisfied because we have previously set a rate at a certain number. don't be greedy because it doesn't always match our expectations. Therefore, we can divide a few percent to be sold at a certain rate and some are sold to increase even higher.

To avoid regrets, we have to make a plan to buy and sell at a certain point, observe the market and make our own decisions, as long as it makes profits don't regret it.
in this case, prefer to sell a small portion whenever bitcoin price increase rather than sell all at once since the opportunity to sell at a higher point will be lost at that time.
The same thing for buying bitcoin, if the correction occurs, don't buy it immediately until the bear market takes place, or at least after 30% correction.

I think like mentioned above if you're happy to distribute your moves in both markets if BTC goes up you only sell a fraction of what you're happy to sell even if it goes up. Having something like this where you gives yourself some room, then irrespective of which way it goes you might be covered.

It is true, you can't always catch the top but similarly you might not always catch the bottom either. With the strategy above you're putting yourself in a better position than >80% of people. But that's only if you're comfortable with it. May not work for everyone but its another option out there

Although, if you zoom out, you'll actually see that the actual "top" is not near the current ATH. It's way up up to a 6-digit valuation per coin, I believe maybe more.

Back then we were mostly blind speculators armed with blind money hoping to make a doe or two with bitcoin and crypto investing. But now the real deal is here right before us: Bitcoin is now being accorded the respect we thought about in our distant day-dream- Investment From BIG, Institutional Fund Managers

These guys take an ordinary item and make it an asset of great value. And Bitcoin is now showing up on several balance sheets all over the world.

OK, let's just say not many of us really believed bitcoin will hit $20,000 this year or this soon.

Personally, my eyes was on ETH and Link to do some unbelievable run that could have seen them rise some 1000% this year. I'd expected bitcoin to, at most oscillate between $7K and $13K this year, but amazingly it was bitcoin that stole the show to lead the bullrun charge.

So, now is perfect time to reflect and hear some confessions from some of our Bitcoin OGs who'd been here since the early days (I won't be surprised to see Satoshi himself resurrect on this thread, in commemoration of his 10th year AWOL anniversary, so, be on the look out. Yea, I remember "We're All Satoshi", but still.....)

Let's hear you, how or where did you first discover Bitcoin? Did you mine on your laptops? Did you buy from MTGox or one of those early days trade platform's? And, most importantly, did you sell too soon? Or luckily, did you hodl till now?

And, no matter what, be proud of your contributions to the development and adoption of the Bitcoin phenomenon, because, we won't be here today without you. If you mined you helped stabilized its decentrality. If you sold you helped in its fare distribution. If you held you helped others to believe in Bitcoin.

Well, I think your expectation didn't happen in terms of decreasing the price of Bitcoin in between 7k$ to 13k$.
And as you can see in the market it was spike the price value around 27k$ something in all exchange platform in the crypto
space.  So, my best friend was right that in the future Bitcoin will really become one of the popular currency online in the entire world
in which was happened now already.

People see negativity in the positive outcome as well which is just a common behaviour among occasional trader and investors. Once they get enough experience especially when they are going through the rough experience then they will realize about the profits they made earlier. One important thing need to be realized by every trader is, no matter how good we are with out trading skills it is not possible to sell at the perfect peak and buy back at the perfect bottom.

Lots of speculations and presumptions towards price movement via those technicals or charts but those arent precise but somewhat a better thing to be used for you to consider rather than picking out
blindly on wheres the pick or making up your position. When you do really have experience in this market then you would really be appreciating on what you had earned rather than complaining
that you do only earn less but at least you are in the green side.

I got into bitcoin in late 2015/early 2016 when bitcoin was just a little above $100, at some point, I watched it drop to $88, i never bought cus there was no way to deposit fiat to the exchange, there were some local exchangers back then, but there were many scammers and using them weren't advisable, so for me earn some bitcoins, I started participating in faucets, I was involved in Many faucet site but I never really earned much.
The bitcoins I earned I put into trading, I earned more but to cut the long story short, I later sold all my bitcoins for fiat and. Other coins that later either turned scam or died.

However, you should not regret or feel bad because this is a cycle, bitcoin maybe at the top now but it will always give us an opportunity to buy, so let's wait until it will dip.

We're riding a new dip this time. The prices are comparably high than a few months ago and this is favorable to those that have been holding up to now. Those who have bought when the price was low, they're happy this end of the year. And for those that have sold early, it's not yet too late and don't be discouraged nor give up. There's always an opening that we can to start buying at dips, I agree with that. The opportunity will knock again if it corrects but that could be in a higher price already.

@op dont beat yourself up maybe I would have sold too if I where in your shoes, you are right, not many people believe btc will make the 20k mark this soon, and I bet many people also sold too quickly when btc first started the run, this is part of the journey, sometimes you get it right and other times it doesn't go as planned but there will always be another opportunity,  maybe not from btc but from some other good project.

The time when I've posted as there's a dip. And if there's no new dip this time, we're into the point of bitcoin is just maintaining itself on $29k. That's a good gift this end of the year. But you know what, many have thought that it would be ending $30k-$31k because of the date that we have.
The real thing about mooning. Many are sensing that the year 2021 would be giving us a better price and that could be high as $100k.

I regret I don't buy bitcoin this year I was focus on the other alts. I just realized the bitcoin is on the bullish run and now the price is going to $30k USD. It is a big improvement of bitcoin from $7k USD last year January 1 from today price. You can feel the huge changes.

Its  too late to regret because due to unpredictability of the market that's why these kind of situations are quite common.

Me not doing it until there's a correction and I see bitcoin dump with significant amount. I don't want to ride with the train now as I don't know where it's going, yes it may continue to pump but I'm sticking with the best method to buy bitcoin at its dip.
