Hi all, Do you trade altcoin with BTC or fiat ? (or USDT) Why did you choose this option ? Thanks  I use btc and eth in trading, whatever available in my wallet. I just choose first which altcoin I wanna buy then go to some exchanges like bittrex and etherdelta then deposit btc. Sometimes I also use eth when I'm running out of btc, I find it also convenient and cheap to use. |

Buy in dips brother. I suggest you to always check the market and buy when it's bloodbath so when it pumps you can have a good profit in return. China's drama isn't not yet over but I think it will not affect directly the waves so buy now before October starts. |

Yes it's true but there are many different aspects also why regular currency is better than crypto. One of these is regular money is accepted and use worldwide and you don't have to pay fee and wait for your transaction to be confirmed whenever you purchase. But on the other hand cryptos are better because it's increasing value over time and the inflation rate is low unlike regular currency. |

As I read the news today about this issue from a news source,they told that china government accepted this ban is as temporary.
Exchangers know how important is their business,so they will soon prepare licences from respective legal authoritatives.
China will create exchange that's centralized, of course they want something that they can control. The ICO banning are also temporary and soon they'll remove this so bitcoin price will rise again. No need to panic sell and don't touch your coin or else big whales just laugh at you. They just looking around every corner and getting ready to eat you so watch out. |

The basic rules of thumb are:
#1 When there are more buyers than sellers, the price will increase.
#2 When there are more sellers than buyers, the price will decrease.
#3 If the number of buyers and sellers are near to equal, the price will remain stable.
These are basics investors and traders use to predict which direction a price will move.
I agree on all you've mention. This is timely now as the price is dropping and nobody really knows when and where it'll stop. The supply and demand also impacted the price also and it's the same as the what mentioned above. Price increases when there's a high demand and there's only limited in supply so if we want to increase the bitcoin price we should hold it. Actually, this is what china doing now, they made btc dump so they can buy at low and hold it and will make them it to hype. More than hoarding than holding. |

You guys need to relax. If China bans BTC, the price will rise, not decline. If your government blocks your access to BTC you will then buy more BTC as protection from this government. Also, don't forget that Facebook and Google are completely illegal in China (I was just there. You type in Google.com and just get a blank page), and the value of both is sky high.
Other governments have actually legalized Bitcoin. It is legal tender in Japan. Russia is rolling out crypto trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange. And so on...
No one can guess the exact bottom. But when BTC is $500,000 in 3 years or so, you won't care if you paid $3,000 or $5,000. Don't think pennies. Think big picture here.
You hit it right brother. Yeah China's news had a big impact in crypto world but this is not the end of the world for all of us. We still have the western countries and other countries in Asia. So don't cry over nothing and think bitcoin had survive many issues and this is just like nothing compared to those. Everyone have different perspective, either you see the glass half empty or full. It's all up to you. Personally, I would rather sit back and relax, grab some popcorn and wait this show to be over. |

I would definitely sell it but of course not with this current price. I hold it and I'll set a target price to sell and buy back again if there's dumping again and repeat the process. And some of my profit from it will invest in ico like car taxi, solar dao and atlant. Oh I wish there's someone out there that's willing to give me 10 eth.  |

For me it is the best time to observe and analyze, the price still very unstable and I dont know the bottom value of bitcoin yet, it is just a moment after the news so the market still very messy and it is hard to make any good call, the next 24 hours will be very crucial, but I speculated the price will keep on falling in the next 24 hours

nothing just panic panic and panic selling. the FUD is all over the place from banning icos to banning exchanges to calling bitcoin as scam. this is becoming a schedule blood bath these days .
Fuds are spreading by fools so don't get in to their trap or else they'll gonna get your money. These are all part of their game plan, they will dump the bitcoin price at it's lowest for them to buy and make it hype again after they bought tons of bitcoin. Surely Chinese are behind all these for their plan of creating their own exchange. Greediness is the name of the game and you'll lose if you panic. |

I'd say each time it drops, add a little more till your bag. That way if it significantly drops after you've bought in, you're not stuck with all your money invested to capitalize on the new low.

Panic selling has started and nothing can stop it. Because of this continued selling people of their bitcoins. And this is how you feel now. I'm just like that but I'm not selling because I'm just getting the least chances to get the chance to get back. I am satisfied with what the amount I hold now and I wait for the right time to increase.
I guess we have the same disposition. For now, I would be hodling my Bitcoin for the very reason that the value is low...wait for the time it would grow and then I might sell some. People are having panic picnic because they are so afraid they might everything they invested for in Bitcoin. These are the people that can easily be moved by FUD. We don't need these people within the Bitcoin community. So true brother but we can't help this. There's always some people that easily be swayed by FUD and many here are just trolling. The price we're experiencing now isn't a crash but more likely a correction in the market. If you see closely the graphs the repetitions of events occur again. So the price now is just for temporary and soon bitcoin will rise again to its ATH and less people can afford to buy some pieces of bitcoin. |

I guess the forum is crowded with escrows but there will always be a need for more trusted people in here. Not all escrows are available from time to time so others are, there will be interruption with the scheduling for trades and deals so I guess we need more to have a lot of choice.
Sure the forum have a lots of escrow but we didn't know who are gonna be trusted and who's not. I've read some escrow are scammers like after they got the allotted budget for the campaign they just burst out like bubble. And this really saddens the investors and the trust issues are getting higher. As a result, escrows reputation is at risk and things got compromised. So better to pick those who are really known and have clean records. |

Of course, even though bitcoin price is so tempting to invest all in, it's not that reasonable to do so. The better way is to diversify your portfolio so when things came up that we didn't expect we always have a back up. My hopes are always too high for this but I don't want to lose what I can't. |
