4121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: July 17, 2019, 12:04:44 AM
Where we are going, we will not BE the bagholders. Feel lucky for the new dip, it shall be our last possible opportunity to buy below $10,000. Cool
The market was looking like it will cross $11k twelve hours back and now i am surprised to see that the market slipped below $10k as i did not see any major negative news and i would say it is best for investors who thought they have missed the boat to invest during this period rather than diving in when the market is soaring. When the market broke the $10k resistance a few weeks back i was not sure where it was heading, hopefully we will not go down below $8k.
4122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 16, 2019, 11:37:39 PM
This contest wasnt even in the ufc so it might have been a smaller promotion that did not take care of its fighters back then like UFC does today
I would be nervous to bet on the 40 year old man from Belarus- who is 2-9 in his last 11 fights with many coming from being stopped
It was a big event back then where Fedor Emelianenko was headlining the card and if you check the fight list there were many prominent fighters on that card and it was a huge event and Donald Trump was a major share holder in that company as well as partnered with Golden Boy Promotions.
The reason for the event to be so big was that fighters from Pride were facing fighters from UFC and fans were dying to see those fights during that time.
4123  Economy / Economics / Re: CEO - WIREX: "GOODBYE Banknotes... Payments will be DIGITAL" - Cryptonites on: July 16, 2019, 10:38:25 PM
Banknotes will nevr seize to exist, since we still have goivernmen in power
The governments around the world will love to make everything digital as they can monitor every transaction that is being made and collect the taxes from each and every citizens, it is hard to imagine a scenario where the notes will be completely replaced in the near futures.

One thing that is still making bank note very effective is the illiteracy in various countries, there are people who would not be able to cope if they completely enforce cashless policy because of their lack of education. Government too wants to stop printing note because it seems too expensive for them. Hey would have actually supported bitcoin whole heartedly, but what is discouraging them is the part of decentralization that it operates on.
How can you change a mode of transaction that is carried on for centuries and replace everything digitally and illiteracy is not the only factor that is not forcing the government to enforce the situation, mode of living and poverty is a basic factor as no government can enforce anyone to have a mobile phone or an internet connection to carry on these transactions Cheesy. Only in a prosperous futuristic world you will see that paper currency will be replaced by digital ones and it is a dream situation that will never happen  Grin.
4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bitcoin news writer wants bitcoin price down on: July 16, 2019, 04:34:23 PM
@mjglqw. Did a cryptocoin news site hire him to create a good cop, bad cop routine? When bitcoin's price fluctuation is 10% lower they put his article on the headline and when the price is fluctuating 10% higher they put a bitcoin bull's article hehehe.
We have seen these sort of bear riders in the past and it is not a big surprise, when the market is looking for a direction these media will come up with something to take the market down and they might achieve that for a while, we cannot do anything for these sort of market manipulation and it will cool down after and i am certain they will take advantage of the situation and earn big bucks with these sort of manipulation.
4125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 16, 2019, 03:36:55 PM
Edwards is a technical fighter. He definitely has the striking skills to go toe-to-toe with RDA.
I think RDA has not been that impressive as of late and that probably made him the underdog in this fight.
Leon Edwards is basically a good striker and if you look at the career of Rafaeldos Anjos he usually fights well against strikers and he will be good at ground game against strikers, Rafaeldos Anjos usually struggles against good wrestlers and most of his defeats are against well versed wrestlers who could control him on the ground, i am betting for Rafaeldos Anjos to win the fight against Edwards.

«Heavyweight:  Andrei Arlovski vs Ben Rothwell»
If Im not mistaken, they have already meet before and Andrei (when he was in his best shape)  was a victorious via KO.
This gonna be a good fight and for Ben an opportunity to win this rematch.
Andrei Arlovski should retire from the sport and he won that fight ten years back during his prime days and now Ben Rothwell will be a tall order and i expect Ben to win this win.
4126  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Hackers steal $32 Million in Crypto from Japanese Exchange Bitpoint on: July 16, 2019, 01:10:45 PM
Personally, I do not trust any report about crypto exchange hacking, especially as the ratio increases with the price rise.
Every year we see these sort of hacks and it is time the community has to take some actions to stop these kind of losses that are forced upon its end users while the exchange gets scot free and from what i have seen from these hacks only Binance did not settle their loss from their customers and it was a good sign from what we have seen in the past and only legalization of exchanges and having a security deposit in order to run an exchange could sort these issues.
4127  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: "we wont let crypto become the next numbered anonymous swiss bank account" on: July 16, 2019, 05:51:04 AM
what does "bitcoin/crypto friendly" entail? i see burdensome licensing and tax regulations, and arbitrary controls on margin trading---at least in the USA and japan. japan even used its licensing scheme to get privacy coins de-listed from exchanges.
This is the future we are expecting when there is regulation being implemented, the authorities will hit hard against privacy coins and they will get rid of those from legal trading and will drive the market underground, realistically if we want the bitcoin community to thrive we need government regulation to get rid of the bad actors and scammers and then the all too familiar exchange hacks where the end user looses their coins and the exchange will run away bankrupt and with regulation we could sort these issues.
4128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Ashes series - Discussion and predictions on: July 15, 2019, 11:55:43 PM
This time both the teams are strong after the world cup matches playing good cricket, England will have more hope.
I believe the series won't go one sided, probably there will be good play on every innings.
England have a different team in the test format than they had in the world cup and they are yet to find a permanent fixture in the opening slot and that is the biggest problem for England, with Australia their one day side and the test side are almost similar with Glen Maxwell making way to Marsh or someone else and i do not see other major changes, i expect a tightly contested series but i expect Australia to win the Ashes.
4129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's an all out war : Government Vs cryptocurrencies on: July 15, 2019, 11:10:32 PM
I think it's an all out war right now
Government Vs Bitcoins.

Except for the countries who support Bitcoins.
We cannot win a war against the government as they have the power and capability and money to shut the entire market if they wanted to, so it is better to have a regulation with the help of government rather than fighting against the government, they could shut the entire mining industry if they wanted to and if that happens we all know what happens to the fate of bitcoin, if there is enough pressure from top countries any country that support bitcoin could change that, we have seen that with Liberty Reserve and other similar financial solutions.
4130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 15, 2019, 09:53:09 PM
In my opinion, the match is a draw and I despise these pathetic ICC rules where the winner is decided based on boundaries and sixes. Entertaining yet controversial final overall.
On a funny note, England is the home land of cricket and the first world cup was played in England and till now England never won a world cup and the rules they made finally gave them the world cup  Cheesy. The present England one day team is the best they ever had historically and if the present team could not win a world cup, then they will never win another one, another funny thing is that the two teams that played in the finals, England and New Zealand were defeated by Pakistan in the group stages and Pakistan missed out the semi final spot because of run rate and with the help of rain Grin.

I am English but to be honest I’m not a cricket fan. However I watched the final & tbh it was brilliant. If you ever needed an advert for cricket then yesterday was it. Absolutely thrilling, especially the last couple of hours of play.
There is no doubt that it was a thrilling final as the match was a tie even in the super over and there was another close match which is equally interesting between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic which was the longest final and that too decided in a tie breaker.
4131  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think the President’s recent comments have hurt bitcoin prices? on: July 15, 2019, 04:52:46 PM
Donald Trump: I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin is currently hovering just over $10000.
These sort of correction are temporary and the price was rallying for a long time and this is not a big obstacle and remember the price of bitcoin rallied 200% this year alone and $10k is not a small amount and i never expected the market to recover and rally like this in the first place and so the price right now is high for everyone to purchase an entire bitcoin. The market will rally again and with halving coming up and since i am a bitcoin enthusiast there is no doubt that the price of bitcoin will break the all time high valuation in the coming year Wink.
4132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 15, 2019, 02:30:39 PM
I just realized I missed the epic Wimbledon final yesterday. I almost forget that it was yesterday, I was too busy to watch the world cup final. That was another epic final happening in the same time in World Cup Cricket.
The cricket world cup was a heavily contested and very close match and one funny thing that was an instant hit was that the losing captain of New Zealand Kane Williamson and Roger Federer share the same birth date 8th of August and both were on the loosing side even though Federer won 36 games and Djokovic won just 32 games and still lost the match  Cheesy. Either way it was a epic day for sports fans to see those two great battles, i was watching both the matches in split screen and it was epic.
4133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 15, 2019, 01:25:07 AM
this was probably the best world cup final ever.
One of the most exciting finals in cricketing history, when you tie the match in regular time and then once again tie the super over, they should share the trophy rather than giving it to the team who scored more boundaries, seeing cricket for a very long time and i never saw a final like this in my life, England were really lucky as New Zealand dropped a catch of Stokes i guess and a over throw that reached the boundary in the final over because it flew from the bat of the English player and over all it was a dramatic game of cricket till the final ball off the super over and you will never get a narrow victory than this  Cheesy.
4134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 14, 2019, 09:20:44 PM
It was a great pleasure to host this pool. Thank you all for the support and the contribution. It would not be possible without all of you. As I said earlier I will try hosting the major tournaments/series in future too.
Thanks buddy for the prediction pool and we expect more in the future, i missed a lot of matches and next time i will try my best to come in the top three  Wink.

Congrats to the prediction pool winners.

One hell of a final and i never expected it to be this dramatic and both team deserved the accolades and Ben Stokes made all the difference.
4135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 14, 2019, 06:11:16 PM
Holly shit the scores are tied and the world cup will be decided in the super over, this is the first time we are seeing a super over to decide the world cup winner, England has attacking players who will knock the ball out of the park but i am not sure who will be striking for New Zealand, only Taylor can hit the ball out of the park and England is batting with Stokes and Buttler. It is a nerve racking match for every cricket fans  Grin.
I think Jofra Archer will bowl for England.
4136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 14, 2019, 10:32:33 AM
The final is here and i expected a good tight match as New Zealand also has a good bowling unit in the conditions here, England started really well and bowling a really tight line and length and the batsmen are struggling to score runs and with the added pressure of the finals i expect New Zealand to score around 225 runs and if that is the case England will chase it easily, England usually chokes under pressure but this is a different outfit of players who are not afraid to take risk, either way England will lift the world cup Smiley.
4137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag , Playbetr.com => Scam! on: July 14, 2019, 08:09:12 AM
Pls, all about their shit company, bg,cb,pb,db and etc. Sum about min. aff. ~100 btc this is fact, no problem post the proof, how players frozen , how is their balance frozen how my friend? Else about poker? =) Very awesome story from log...
Since DarkStar_ vouched that what you claim about having the entire database, i would like to see about the scam accusation you said about the platform as 100BTC is not a small amount to get away like that and if you can provide the details without compromising the security of the users it would be great and hopefully we will get a response from betcoin.

at the moment really finding it hard to believe that players lost access to 100 BTC without making any noise here in the forums or in SBR
actually many people in SBR do recommend Betcoin
Majority of the users who rolls with huge amount does not have an account here, all they do is trade and then gamble with the profit they made and just repeat their process, so it is not a surprise that you do not see their issues here.
4138  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2019, 06:23:50 AM
Here's an interesting article citing some recent research which claims that the majority of mining power is in China, and those miners may have some perks that others outside the country do not have.
Have you checked the date in which the article is published, coming up with an article that is published in October 2018 and having a debate is a bit cheesy as there were many topics here that talked about it in this forum, since you started this topic here is my opinion regarding it, the Chinese government usually likes to have a control on everything which includes foreign investment in the form of a company and they have being doing that for years and the recent Huawei issue with the US government all stemmed up from that, but to control a decentralized platform is an impossible task and they do not have any control over bitcoin.
4139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? on: July 13, 2019, 03:03:12 PM
I personally like to see bitcoin stable between 10K-20K. So everyone will happy for the situation.Open for discussion.
Having a valuation of 100% from the base valuation cannot be a stable price  Tongue,If you are expected the price to be on a range between $10k and $20k then we can expect that to be the case till the halving and then we might see a huge rally and it all depends upon how much the market will gain before the halving and i expect the market to trade around $8k to $15k till the end of this year or we might even touch a new all time high valuation consider the current market situation as it is constantly trying to break the resistance at $13k.
4140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uganda says cryptocurrency is risky on: July 13, 2019, 05:30:35 AM
The first time I entered bitcoin, I already knew that it was risky. And I think, it's the risk that makes this venture exciting which allows us to appreciate its value. Besides, there are some people who say that "with high risk comes high returns." Personally, I would also like to experience that.
In order to experience the high risk high return property of any financial asset you have to invest in the beginning stages of the asset when the valuation is really low when no one really cares about it and if you have the courage to test the waters during that time then it will be known as a high risk high reward situation and not when you invest when the price is well around $10k  Tongue. That does not mean that it will not give you a huge profit but the idea of high reward cannot be said now.
