0.

I think NYGA sueing Tether/Bitfinex and the drawing near deadline affect most.
Those alts which ware pumped by usdt most would dump most at this moment.
In the meantime usdt only makes up a relatively smaller percentage of BTC buying so BTC would dump the least.

Maybe it's not Trump ?

It has seen a 12% loss from the initial Maximum but one should understand that at the same time there are other two major Altcoins that are seeing a huge amount of loss.

1.Etherum
2.XRP

Now we have trading pairs , etherum is very famous already , therefore I do think that is market loss is because of them going down not because of the tweets .

Even if the tweets worked they would just account for just 1-2% .

Also there is this draft Being proposed asking all the major companies to stay away from the digital Money .

These two are a major factor ..

What's curious about it is that it didn't have any immediate effects unlike other events which did in fact affect the prices significantly (like China shutting down exchanges, for example). The market reacts fairly quickly, so based on the timing, I'd say that his tweet has very little, if anything, to do with this.

Then again, his tweets have been observed to affect stock prices, and Bitcoin might not be immune to the phenomenon. If that's the case, the bright side is that it hasn't caused any lingering effects to those involved.

like always these altcoins among hundreds of others dropped "AFTER" bitcoin price went down which is yet another indication that altcoins get dumped whenever bitcoin price goes down.
what you said about bitcoin price going down because of these coins would have been correct if they dropped first and then bitcoin followed which obviously is not the case if you put bitcoin chart on top of each of these coins charts and check the timing of the drops with seconds accuracy.

Donald Trump: I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is currently hovering just over $10000.

While we know that the USA is waning in many areas especially economically, militarily and in influencing other well-known world leaders, it is still a formidable force for now and any comment coming from the one holding office in White House can have ramifications minor or major on anything. I am glad that the marketplace is not making a big deal though with Trump's sentiment on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but I am sure this can have a long-term effect on the industry much more so if he can be reelected next year. Now, Trump's comment is not yet the official policy of the government on this matter as we know that the current President can be saying almost anything and then just forget it later. What is to me is weightier are comments maybe coming the SEC Chairman  or any law that can be passed by the Congress in respect to cryptocurrency.

Come on, who take Trump's words (especially tweets) seriously? Thought we all considered them a joke, I was kinda hopefully bitcoin rising this week so we can finally conclude people tend to do the opposite of what Trump says lol.
/humor

Anyway, I believe the price movement had a little bit of effect from the tweet as we all know what the main reason behind that tweet was, it was intended to create FUD and kill what ever hopes the US citizen had left in regards to the government showing some positive signs towards bitcoin. Libra (Facebook coin) on the other hand didn't help matters instead it angered the government the more because they got threatened by the power Facebook will have if they success with the project.

We can't denied the community is still been influenced by emotions although not as before and while the market was waiting for something to motivate investors, the FUD from the tweet came into effect and triggered the market reaction that's why I said the tweet had a little bit of effect.

I hope there is but I guess that tweet could be the reason, it just didn't effect immediately.
We should get used to the market trends, that's how it move and believe me, the correction will be over soon and tomorrow when we wake up bitcoin will already start to climb back to $11K then $12K. I've seen this many times, no one can make bitcoin down permanently.

not even a little bit.

it is pretty simple, if it was supposed to hurt bitcoin price, it would have done it the moment this tweet came out and the social media went nuts about it and everyone was discussing this tweet all over the internet not 2 days later!
not to mention that it should be a positive thing for bitcoin. basically we created a decentralized currency that they could not control and they are now scared of it. that means we were successful and should celebrate...

Before we here that useless comment, the price if Bitcoin is already dumping so i don’t see this one as a big recent of the current down on the price of Bitcoin. We know Trump always hate everything that hurts the economy of US well, bitcoin is indeed a big threat and that’s why he did that. I see this down as a temporary try to buy bitcoin now while its cheap.

Trump's tweet doesn't really affect nor hurt bitcoin. As you can see, there's a lot of thread about his tweet yet everyone didn't really cared much and didn't get swayed to what he said. The loss didn't really caused from his tweet though it became an issue here.

That's exactly what you're saying , since we know already that U.S.A is not in favor of bitcoin and so with Donald Trump , so practically investors and bitcoin enthusiast would not affect on what His stands about crypto currency .

I don't think they have influenced it a lot. I believe most of the crypto supporters don't take such statements for real.Trump is famous from it's disapproval for everything, alongside with his usual lack of knowledge about the subject which is the target od his hate.

Nothing, really, and if anything, the price reached a peak of $11700 that day he tweeted that, and a day after, that's when the price went down. There could be other factors to the drop in price but it's certainly not Trump's tweet of dislike regarding bitcoin. Jamie Dimon has been constantly shitting about bitcoin on 2018 but no significant price crashes happened. Instead, price remained stagnant until the miracle pump of April 1, 2019 and the rest is history. A simple tweet won't do much at this day and age, though it can still sweep market sentiments but perhaps not to the point that the change would be drastic and noticeable, IMO.

The tweet about Trump on Bitcoin didn't reach to me until now only meams that it wasn't really news worthy at all. It didn't cause any kind of FUD in the market since Trump is not what a lot of people follow in the internet especially when he have created a whole lot of controversy when he banned and then unban Huawei phones in the U.S. market. Bottomline is his tweet is meaningless and BTC correcting is bound to happen after a few weeks of a good bull run.

I would not be so sure, because the leader of one of the biggest economies in the world critisizing a crypto currency can and will have a certain impact on the value. No doubt about it. Might scare pootential buyers away for good.

We all know why he actually ignore cryptocurrency but there's nothing he can do to stop the cryptocurrency. Either cryptocurrency is backed by tin air or not we don't care, but come to think about this, "what about the US dollars? ". They USA will come to the business but maybe too late for them to embrace the technology, but definitely they will do.

i wouldn't worry about it or even connect any market activities to it as long as bitcoin is doing what it was doing before this tweet even came out. and that was to fluctuate between $10k and $13k in this $3000 range as the $13k is becoming the resistance that was tried twice already and remains unbroken and $10k has become this strong buy support that is tested 3 times already and remains unbroken.
with or without this tweet we would have been in the same place, maybe a little less fear in the market, that's all.

There is a FOMO brewing...
