4141  Other / Meta / Re: Shame on this community. Failed to bring guidelines to protect the trust system. on: January 22, 2018, 09:04:11 PM
Until theymos actually decides to do something about the huge spam issue here then people are going to take things into their own hands and that's why people are fighting back by using the trust system because it's the only weapon they have right now.
The other remaining *weapon* is leaving. It's no wonder that there are almost no Core developers around anymore (other than achow and Greg, I rarely see anyone), or other valuable people from various corners of the ecosystem. It's as if theymos is detached from reality or is doing this on purpose.
4142  Other / Meta / Re: A request to Blazed (and others who are in plan to recruit more DT members) on: January 22, 2018, 08:58:57 PM
For example,
hilariousandco and Lutpin are not competing for earning opportunity but accepting offers to show advertisements.
Lauda is intensively looking for earning opportunity in the name of ACE and ALU.
Lies. I am not doing anything that you've claimed, nor does me tagging anyone have any affect on either endeavor. In fact, Lutpin is part of ACE. You would have known this had you not been focused on your ICO bumping services.

The recent DT members The Pharmacist and actmyname are still competing with rest of forum members for selling their avatar and signature spaces.
No. They  do not compete with the monkeys that have been tagged. All they have to do is ask for a place and they would receive it pretty much anywhere.

Now, after they have the power to disqualify any forum members to lessen the completion to get slots, how we can believe that they will not misuse their DT power ?
Read above.

Until Lauda started managing bitmixer camp, it (the cat) never bothered about account dealing nor shit posting even it was a staff and DT member for years. Why suddenly started giving neg trust to 1000s of accounts along with competing with rest of forum members to earn more.
You are a lying troll. I was a newcommer to DT at the time.

The clear breach of trust system guidelines for personal benefits
Says the dormant alt account of someone who got tagged for shady shit.
4143  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust (DT) Network - DT1/2 Members on: January 22, 2018, 08:51:01 PM
I'm conflicted and need a reality check. I believe I'm more reserved in my approach with feedback than say Lauda or The Pharmacist, and I don't really believe theymos had intended DT to act as a cleanup crew for sig spammers on the forum, but that seems to be where this is heading, and I can't say I'm entirely against it because mods and admins have shown they do not, or cannot, get involved on a large scale with the shitposting/sig spamming.
Whilst I don't really do it, I have no problem with it.

However, the potential for abusing this and/or the DT system turning into a sort of "good ol' boys club" would be my fear.
That would be true if the user leaving the rating had something to gain from it. E.g., I don't see how The Pharmacist would benefit from tagging random shitposters. Therefore, I find it unlikely that your fear would become true unless he/she went on a ego rampage but that wouldn't last long (easily noticed, easily fixed).

I'll assume Blazed is included in the comment above but I'm curious which other members may be supporting this, or at least how many support the leaving of feedback based on just the quality of a users post(s)?
I wouldn't label people who are neutral to it and support it in the same group. I, e.g., support it whilst I believe Blazed and hilariousandco (if I've read his recent post correctly) just *don't mind it given the current situation*.

I'm interested in hearing other opinions & thoughts on this.
This is somewhat pointless if all you're going to get is: a) Mostly positives from people who are fed up with the shitposting. b) Mostly negatives from the users that are shitposting and/or have been tagged for other peoples. c) A few, rare, libertarian bs negatives.

Meanwhile I truly support the 'fights against the spammers' but forming a group of DT accounts to attack particular 'type' of members is not encouraging.
That's generally a bad idea due to bias and prejudice that would build up over time.
4144  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please stop Jamalaezaz scamming activity on the forum!!! on: January 22, 2018, 08:36:22 PM
First of all the only way you can take a translation in his campaigns is by accepting a very small ammount in BTC so he can keep your bounty tokens for the translation. He also told me that he will find another translator if i dont accept. Basically he doesent care about experience or the project to be done well...he just cares about scamming you and the company about the bounty tokens!
That's just outright abuse of the management position due to their own greed. Do you have a screenshot of this conversation by any chance? Not that it is really required given the *conversation* that you guys had.

4146  Other / Meta / Re: TRUST ABUSE BY NEW DT MEMBERS.. Theymos should review the trust system. on: January 22, 2018, 08:18:43 PM
If my perception is right, then red-tagging is not 100% accurate? And some of the tagged members might not be involved in shitposting or any event that had led to tagging?
The rate of false convictions in the US is over 1%.
By massively red-tagging users without a proper analysis for each case, i believe that rate is by far higher in this forum.
By randomly doing statistical analysis based on nothing other than your own belief, you surely are going to get some very accurate estimates. Roll Eyes

Do you have any suggestions on how to restore my status? I can't believe my 2013 account got redflagged for no reasons whatsoever.
Your posts are horrible. You should never be allowed in a campaign of any kind again.
4147  Economy / Reputation / Re: shitposter must read on: January 22, 2018, 06:01:10 PM
Well, you can destroy weeks or months of someone work. Of course, you decide that it's not work but shit.
If you see posting as work, then you are an idiot that is in need of a permanent ban.

May be I'm whiner, but for sure these are not bullshits: the only way to survive is to have multiple accounts. Am I wrong?
Trying to avoid a negative rating by hiding under a different alias just confirms that your original rating is valid and warranted, regardless of its description or intent behind it.
4148  Economy / Reputation / Re: shitposter must read on: January 22, 2018, 05:49:35 PM
-Legendaries are almighty and right by definition
No. See, e.g., the scammer Quickseller.

-They support each other a priori
No. Take a look above again.

-They have godlike power to judge people
Legendary Member accounts have no power whatsoever.

-if they don't like something you do they can destroy you without any explication
No power -> Can't really do anything.

I understand that this kind of power can be addicting (I'm just expecting to be banned forever, just as a demonstration of power), but if the aim - out of ego celebration - is to improve the content on the forum, you are all deadly wrong, as all you will obtain is that everyone - knowing that can be banned in any moment just by an arbitrary opinion of someone - will create more and more account, and of course more and more shit post.
Classic bullshit from a whiner. Can't you come up with something creative?
4149  Other / Meta / Re: TRUST ABUSE BY NEW DT MEMBERS.. Theymos should review the trust system. on: January 22, 2018, 05:41:14 PM

The rate of false convictions in the US is over 1%. What makes you think that forum members, especially with such different backgrounds, can reach an accuracy of 100%? You lack common sense.

You have no better solution right now, because activities of some DT members (not yours) are against the rules/guidelines.
There are no DT rules and you can't break guidelines. Either you follow them or you do not. It's a choice.

And hopefully he won't give out the forum to members, who are earning money with bashing posts.
I'd take legitimate "bashing" posts over 3rd world shitposting any day.
4150  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Lightning Network on: January 22, 2018, 02:55:02 PM

4151  Economy / Reputation / Re: shitposter must read on: January 22, 2018, 02:51:51 PM
Please note that in the rules writes clearly: "- Do not rate people based on the quality of their posts."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.msg2221664#msg2221664

So, HE broke the rules!!!!!! Negative rates are to semnalize scammers, not "shitpost" by your arbitrary point of view.
Those are not rules, they are guidelines. There is a huge difference between those two words; a difference which any decent English speaker should be aware of. Whining won't really help you, shitposters.
4152  Other / Meta / Re: TRUST ABUSE BY NEW DT MEMBERS.. Theymos should review the trust system. on: January 22, 2018, 02:50:10 PM
These days given red trusts may be generally accurate, but on my short research I found at least one,  who is also flagged as "third world shit poster" without spamming, who accidentally went into crossfire on bitcoin discussion.
False positives will occur in just about any system. As long as their percentage is low enough, it is fine.

There must be found a better solution.
This is the best that we can do until theymos wakes up or gives control of the forum to someone else.
4153  Other / Meta / Re: TRUST ABUSE BY NEW DT MEMBERS.. Theymos should review the trust system. on: January 22, 2018, 09:41:11 AM
I know that I shouldn't use this as an excuse or try to justify for my poor grasp of my English but really, able to master one language is very difficult.
It most certainly is not. The word 'master' is very vague and you most certainly do not need to "master" English to post as a regular user.

This is an online forum, not an academic broad where everyone has to post a long wall of text. What are you doing right now only make the trust system lower its standard for the shitposters and not scammers or illegal activity.
Here's a simpler and more elegant solution: Do not post in a language which you do not know well enough.
4154  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust by The Pharmacist on: January 22, 2018, 09:23:27 AM
What a happy forum we have raining red trust I don't even try to bother someone but I get my red trust after shitting some of my post the red trust almost meant only to me maybe give me a red trust after posting with a minute or two of interval posting some shit. what do you know about this shot. I didn't even try to make some bit I gave up, trusted people  Cry  Cry  Cry
This is a very good example of a shitpost; They occur when you try writing in a language which you do not know.

Bien... ¿Qué se supone que se debería hacer ahora para pagar?
Abre un canal y paga.
Ok.

Entiendo entonces que debo tener instalado un software que me permita hacer eso ¿no?

Gracias.

And although i understand what they want to impose their but I think neutral trust will be the best way to put before putting some neg trust among those user who got red trust.
What you think has absolutely no value.

Theymos should address this, since this furom has been by jackals for their self-interest.
Which is just pure bullshit. There is absolutely nothing that the sender will personally gain from spending hours and hours of their life tagging 3rd world cancer.

4160  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Read] User 'The Pharmacist' has blocked your personal message. on: January 20, 2018, 01:28:16 PM
There is nothing you can do about it and no you will not get any "chance".
FYI, I wouldn't generalize that statement. It really comes down to the individual case.
