You should use an minimum Transactions few of 1000satoshi /kb -snip-
Thats no longer true. If I ask bitcoin core for an approximation for the fee per kilobyte I get: block | fee -------------------------- 1 | 0.00038887 2 | 0.00022495 3-4 | 0.00020074 5 | 0.00018738 6 | 0.00016535 7-13 | 0.00015087 14 | 0.00013729 15-25 | 0.00012499 ... | ... ??? | 0.00001000 (you are here, still waiting for a confirmation)

I see any double bot signature campaign in service, but I cannot see in the list on this thread, it looks like they really pay?
Doublebot campaign? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1275755.0 Looks like they pay. But it's for promoting a ponzi. And shorena is giving negative trust to everyone who joins. May explain why it wasn't added. But shouldn't the escrow get trust too if the advertisers get it? I personally dont think they should be added, because they are promoting a ponzi. If Mitchell sees this differently they can certainly add them. IMHO the escrow is the only honest person involved in the campaign, participants of a campaign that is advertising for a ponzi have a higher risk to get scammed out of their payment. When the ponzi collapses the only reason anyone gets any coins from the campaign will be master-P. I strongly advice against joining the campaign and yes I will leave a warning for the community if you join. Edit: Btw if you ask me. The ponzi already collapsed. The operator SNavy was last active 3 days ago, people are wondering why "the bot" is not working even though the price swings heavily. Now, lets keep it on topic here.

Hi, mi sistem is still running smooth, and my patience is keeping steady, I understand it will take some time, just hope to keep the process running (I have a robust UPS) or not loose the advance in case of system crash. This is the counting.... C:\btcrecover-master\btcrecover-master>btcrecover.py --wallet default_wallet --t okenlist tokens.txt Read additional options from tokenlist file: --autosave progress.sav --pause --t ypos 1 --typos-case --no-dupchecks Using autosave file 'progress.sav' Counting passwords ... 17,786,000,000 ETA: 19 hours and counting
IŽll be persistance, thanks again guys for made things easier, IŽll keep in touch. Its still counting, there was not a single attempt to open the wallet. Did you make a run with --performance in advance? Its looks like you are searching for a solution between too many possible passwords.

-snip- Since you are clearly struggling to justify your rating, here is another example.
The only thing Im struggling with is why you are unable to see that you did something dishonest or at the very least something can be seen as an attempt to deceive. In your world it seems perfectly fine to change your stance on a whim and not be help responsible for your words. Let's pretend the terms were stated in the OP; that I will pay $15 for someone to find the EXACT sunglasses. Let's say the thread is 6 pages long and somewhere in those 6 pages I state that I no longer plan on paying a reward. Obviously everyone will see the OP but it is unlikely that they will see that the terms have changed, which would be deemed unfair.
Even though the unchanged OP clearly states the terms, I no longer have to pay a bounty because I buried a response in that thread that overrules the original terms?
Is this what you're trying to say? Because if this is so, the mods need to review your account. All I have done in that example is switch the current scenario, thus highlighting your misjudgement.
Good point, there are two ways to see this. #1 Everyone should keep up to date. People that dont check the updates can only blame themselves. This tends to happen though and most of the time someone will quickly remind them that the terms have changed. Common examples are people trying to join a signature campaign that is no longer accepting new members. This is even missed if its clearly state in the OP. This also happened in your case: -snip- the most similar is Marc Jacobs Sunglasses MJ252/S Black I think he deserves 15 bucks lol
-snip- I think my M.J's were more similar. I looked at the MJ252/S closely and the opening inbetween the temple are to high vertically not across like in OP's photo.
any update on this? did the OP selected and sent the bounty to the one with the nearest or similar to what James Rodriguez is wearing?
This is odd It's more than 48 hours as stated by the OP and yet no announcement yet of who won or at least the nearest to what OP is looking for Closest answer wins. I'll leave this thread open for 48 hours and then declare the winner.
You also did not make a single statement after the 48 hours had passed even though you had been online. OP is online now and maybe he will make an update or an announcement regarding this contest that he hosted.
#2 Changing the terms at a later date to less desirable terms for those working for you puts you in a position that makes sure they know about the new terms. Trying to sneak in new terms in your favor somehow is not exactly what I would call a beacon of trustworthiness.

Whether or not a public key is compressed can not be easily seen. You can get the public key in hex format by right clickin on an address is in the "addresses" tab and selecting "public keys". If you want to know whether or not the key is compressed you need to look at the private key in WIF format. Instead of clicking "public keys" you click on "private key". After you entered your password electrum will show the private key, make sure it stays private. If it starts with a '5' its for an uncompressed key, if it starts with an 'L' or 'K' its for a compressed key. AFAIK electrum uses uncompressed keys.
Shorena, If i only have the uncompressed public key, how can i convert it to the compressed format ? Is there a conversion tool anywhere for it on the net ? Because i need the compressed format. Thanks. You can use bitaddress.org. Well actually if you use it, download it and use it locally. Its made to run locally, but better safe than sorry. It has a "Wallet Details" tab. If you enter any private key in any format there it will show you all common formats (Base58/WIF, hex and base64). This includes the compressed and uncompressed WIF priv. keys, as well as the hex pubkeys and addresses for them. Keep in mind that if you import private keys into electrum it will create a different wallet file for them and they will (obviously) not be covered by the seed. You dont have to tip me, but Im glad for any donation to my node. http://213.165.91.169/ ( 14GXh8khHXd8p4nQRCQdWi7fvHsNCDBkTG )

OP, please check Bitvest campaing, it seems it's inactive. Cheers!
lightlord is known to be hard to reach, and ignazi reported several times having troubles to reach out to him, however, even if they are mostly late with their payments, they cleared up every payment yet (except for the last one, thats 1 week late now, which you probably refer to) Put the warning * up for them. Fixed, was correct in the details section. -> http://pastebin.com/ZJuW53ut

Fees are low currently. Bitcoin core suggests me 0.0013 btc/kb for a 1 Block confirmation and 0.000125 btc/kb for a 25 (or more) block confirmation.
You pay 0.0001039 and 0.0001082 btc/kb. You can thank Miners like F2Pool who mined 3 blocks recently and filled them 243/1000, 346/1000 and 400/1000.

Hello guys,
I am somewhat new to bitcoin and electrum, and wanted some help from more experience people like yourself :
Hi, some of the answers I have read above are plain dangerous. Please keep in mind that many posting here do so for their paid signature and you will have to double check almost all answers you get here. There are a few exceptions, but you should not believe me, because I also sell my signature. 1) How can i create a static receiving address in electrum ? Or is this unnecessary since all receiving addresses in electrum automatically static ? (meaning they stay forever in your electrum wallet)
All addresses are static in this sense and all will be recoverable from your seed. Electrum will keep 20 unused addresses ready for you at all times, but you can also always see the older ones. Open the "addresses" tab. You will see "Receiving" which can be opened with the little triangle. And within "receiving" you will see "used" which can also be opened. Because i want to have a receiving address in electrum, which i can always use to receive donations. So that people who want to donate can always use this same address. But i don't want to always having to publish another address after a certain period.
2) How do i obtain the public key (compressed) for this receiving address ? Is this just right clicking on the receiving address ?
Whether or not a public key is compressed can not be easily seen. You can get the public key in hex format by right clickin on an address is in the "addresses" tab and selecting "public keys". If you want to know whether or not the key is compressed you need to look at the private key in WIF format. Instead of clicking "public keys" you click on "private key". After you entered your password electrum will show the private key, make sure it stays private. If it starts with a '5' its for an uncompressed key, if it starts with an 'L' or 'K' its for a compressed key. AFAIK electrum uses uncompressed keys. 3) Can i use this same public key from that receiving address for multisig transactions ?
regards, zip.
Multi sig works with compressed and uncompressed keys. You can use them to create a multi sig address, yes. You will get a new address though. -snip- The BTC address shown is the public key. -snip-
No. Priv key -> pub key -> address. The address is essentially a specially hashed public key. Both can be shared without worry, but they are not the same and they serve different purposes.

All who want join today as only 10 new slots are there to be grabbed As a reminder, the following users have received payment and their rating will stay. Nauro Ayoko samdo (manager) DomMic WizKhalifa ThePlan
The user WizKhalifa was banned from the forum for spam. Apparently this campaign is not only looking for the worst scum they can find, they also pay for spam. If you want to join, go ahead, just be aware who you are dealing with.

Do you have a transaction ID for the TX in question? Do you know which payment processor they use? E.g. bitpay?
My best guess currently is that the TX is confirmed and that you need to contact the payment processor they use.

-snip- FACTS.....If you lose your pass phrase, it is gone. Those coins are gone forever. Cracking that pass-phase will get you less money than simply using the same CPU/GPU to mine Bitcoins. If you put the passphrase in a text file on your computer and deleted it, that file may be recovered in some cases, the same is true for backup wallets. But information that is gone is gone. You cannot break into the wallet and no one else can. Anyone with hacking experience will tell you, cracking a five character, alpha-only password can take days or weeks. There is simply not enough time or power to crack a ten word random phrase. If you lost it on a computer and have not formatted the hard drive, DO NOTHING and maybe we can help you find the file, but do not buy into a service that tells you it can find the pass-phrase for an old wallet or wallets!
You assume that the previous owner that used the password remembers nothing about it. And that is nonsense. I did a test with someone I know personally a while back. I asked them to create a secure 8 symbols password with lower, upper, numerical and special symbols. 8 (26+26+10+8) combinations. I asked them to memorize the password as good as possible (they only had a few minutes) and write it on a card. I kept that card for 1 week and asked what they still knew about the password. It was not much, but it was enough to brute-force the rest given a few weeks time. This is the reason why you may not be able to brute force the wallet for someone that stole the file, but you may be able to brute force the wallet for someone that actually came up with and used the password. All that being said, its probably a scam anyway.

and why not? i am invest my money on server with 500mbs connection and 10TB space, all i want is help bitcoin network. You can see site -> bithash.cat Why we should not trust you? #1 you have nothing to lose, your account is new, the domain has no personal info attached to it #2 you claim to sell 0days, so even durring your short time here you have already shown that you have access to malicous software. Either that or your 1$/month 0days are bullshit. Its a bad basis for trust no matter which is true. #3 bitcoin is meant to be trustless, by downloading a pre verified blockchain database form you this principle would be violated. If the data has to be verified again, downloading it from you provides no speed up compared to just connecting to your node.

You can download it from here - https://get. bithash.cat/ As of this post it was on height=374842, and still goin on up. Why should we trust you?

Recently my transactions are being split to tons of outputs, making the transaction really large in size, thus increasing the fee. Is there any way to make a single transaction sent from one address make just 1 output because lowering the fee doesn't seem to be a great option, since the transaction just hangs there unconfirmed.
Are you refering to inputs maybe? Outputs are the coins you create, either for someone else or for yourself. Usually you would only create a single output for yourself, the rest that you do not send elsewhere called change. Inputs are the coins you receive via transactions and use to create new transactions. If you have received many small amounts in the past they can increase the size of your transactions. A possible solution is to enable coin control (assuming bitcoin core, due to the section you posted in) and hand pick a few small and large inputs to slowly get rid of the smaller ones.

|
|
and why would it wait for the first to confirm?
if he has enough, would it go through first?
No, the first transaction creates change. These change coins are used in the second so the second can not confirm without the first. To make it even worse, the first now was double-spend[1], so the 2nd can never confirm. Well, at least the conflict is solved. 2nd TX is invalid, 1st TX is invalid, double spend of 1st is confirmed (9+). You pay no fee while there are up to 40k transactions waiting.
