The result of the Turkey - Luxembourg game was quite surprising to me. Just as bookmakers I was also waiting for a clear victory by Turkey. But they would have even lost the game in their own stadium. Thanks to I. Yuksek's amazing goal they saved one point. 3-3 was a really absurd score. I knew that Luxembourg were doing a good job in the group but there was still a huge gap between these teams when we compare the qualities of the players. Maybe Turkey wanted to play relievedly after having a safe point gap in the group.

I mean that he was really crucial for the team in the previous season. Because he wasn't considering about leaving the team and playing for a team that were playing in the Champions League. Therefore there was no hindrance for him to focus on his game. But now one of his sides is still thinking about leaving the team at the earliest opportunity. Erik ten Hag is having second thoughts about choosing him for the starting eleven in Premier League games because of that.

I hope it doesn't go this way until the end of the season. Ronaldo should clear his mind completely and have his form in the previous season back again.

Of course. Udinese have no such aim like winning the title in the league. They only aim to finish the season at a better position this time. Even if they stay in top 10 at the end this would still be an improvement for them. Even this is already a huge improvement as they have beaten some big teams of the league by very reassuring scores. They seem one of the most assertive teams of the league for now. Even if they don't keep this up until the end of the season I will appreciate their high effort very much.

Arsenal haven't had very tough opponents except Manchester United so far. It was easier for them to win this many games because of that. But I wouldn't like to disregard their team performance of course. They have had a reliable performance generally. The win against Brentford was also very satisfying. It wasn't easy to beat Brentford away normally but Arsenal showed it very easy.

The Tottenham game is another big test for Arsenal. This time I don't expect a similar game to the one against Manchester United. Arsenal should be much more effective in attacking and they can win this too. But it isn't going to be easy at all. I expect a very competitive game at the same time as Tottenham are also very dangerous recently.

Sevilla have made one of their worst starts in the recent years. They have collected only 5 points so far. The gap with top positions is getting wider by every week. I don't know what has changed for them this season. They didn't make so many changes in the squad as well. They are still using the same game strategies also. Maybe this is the part they need to make some changes. Maybe their usual tactics aren't working out anymore.

We have been used to seeing Sevilla being a part of top 4 in the recent years so this can be a really disappointing one for them. Their target must be qualifying for the Champions League but they need to do an extra work now to achieve that.

When Mane was brought here first I thought that they were thinking of signing a striker as well. In the end Mane is not a striker and he wasn't playing like that for Liverpool too. But interestingly they didn't even look for any striker before the end of the transfer window. This was a really bad management by Bayern Munich board. They literally risked this season for the team. They are being punished for this really hard in the Bundesliga these days.

Nagelsmann must have a clear mind about his future because this isn't his fault at all.

Manchester City still have a huge dominance in the league even though Arsenal and Tottenham have also been doing wonderful. It is hard to believe that at least one of Arsenal - Tottenham duo will be very consistent until the end of the season. Because we haven't seen an example in the recent years. But for Manchester City, it is easy to talk about this. Even if they lose points in some unexpected games as well they can still win the title by playing extra. The squad quality is much higher than their closest opponents.

Udinese are a really surprising team in this season. After seven weeks we are seeing them only one point behind the leader. Of course it is still very difficult for teams like them to have a consistent form during the season. I wonder when they will start to struggle. But it is good to see some different teams at top places as well. Even if they don't become the champions they can still have a solid season. Especially while some favourites are having tough days Udinese have a nice chance to stay ahead of them for longer.

Manchester United don't need Ronaldo anymore actually. They have been on a really great run in the Premier League recently and Ronaldo hasn't been in the starting eleven for some time too. Rashford has done a really good job so far. Manchester United should find a productive striker to replace Ronaldo I think. They can surely find a good striker instead of paying a lot of money for Ronaldo. I know how important he is for the team considering their history but I think it is better for them to part ways at the end of the season.

Could this be Napoli's time to shine for the Serie A title finally?

They have made the best start among all the big teams so far. Atalanta are sharing the points with them now maybe but Napoli have a more reliable performance currently. Napoli are able to show the same performance in not only this league but also the Champions League also. It isn't easy to keep this up for any team as it requires an extra effort to be successful in both tournaments. If Napoli see that they won't be able to deal with this at some point then I think their priority would be the Serie A for sure. Because they haven't been the champions since the 1989/90 season here.

Except the unfortunate point loss against Vallecano, Barcelona are no different than Real Madrid in terms of strength these days. They are even better in defense compared to Real Madrid as they have conceded only one goal in total. Comparing this Barcelona to Koeman's, there is a huge difference. Thanks to Xavi Barcelona are coming back to their old days. The competition for the title will be really hard of course but finally I can say that Barcelona also have a huge chance for the title.

It is of course only the first weeks of the season but it's not difficult to see some key points at both of Barcelona and Real Madrid already now. After a point these two teams would have a big gap with the others by pulling away from them.

I'm also not sure about whether the real problem was Tuchel at Chelsea. Because the same team became even the champions in the Champions League with Tuchel. I've heard some other things which could be the real reason behind this action but anyway. Graham Potter will surely be under pressure in the rest of the season. He won't be expected to win the league of course but they will expect to see a big improvement in the performance and results at the same time. The Salzburg game didn't end well but the performance was promising. They have a nice amount of time to get more prepared for their next game.

Bayern Munich can't be very happy at the moment truthfully. Because they are doing good only in the Champions League now. Things are going really bad for them in the Bundesliga. They lost nine points in their last four league games. Nagelsmann tried a different attacking line like Sane - Mane in the forward position against Augsburg. But they lost the game 1-0. We haven't seen Bayern Munich in this much trouble for a long period of time. As everyone said already, the permanent solution to their scoring problem is signing a complete forward as soon as possible.

Besiktas need to solve their goalkeeper problem in January. Mert Günok might not be a permanent solution for them. If they don't solve it then this season might be a waste for them while they have the strength to make it to the title. They are quite adequate when it comes to their offensive performance. New players in the attacking line are very helpful. They just need to concede less goals than this. Even Istanbulspor managed to get a point from them while they weren't the better playing side. This is a cheap way of losing points for Besiktas.

Inter are having tough days in the Serie A and Champions League. They won against Plzen maybe but it was an easy game for them in the end. They lost many points in the recent times. We have an international break now and this space must be good for Inter to take a deep breath. Simone Inzaghi has enough time to think about what kind of a solution they can create for their problem. This is still no guarantee for them to beat Barcelona in Giuseppe Meazza. But at least they can have a more reliable game plan.

I still expect Barcelona to defeat them though. Inter still have a long way to go to beat a team like Barcelona unless they get lucky in this game. This will take time but if Inter take the right steps for them they can start fixing things before it becomes too late for this season.

Manchester United will need Ronaldo's contribution in the remaining games as well to be able to qualify from their group easier. He scored an important goal against Sheriff Tiraspol to increase his passion to show a good performance in the coming games. But he really needs his finishing skills back as soon as possible. He wasted some really nice opportunities in that game and he was able to score thanks to a penalty. This is enough for people to mock Ronaldo about his scoring mostly by penalties. He is a legend anyway but I hope he continues to score different kind of goals more often.

Leicester's journey in the Premier League is coming to an end as it seems. I also think that they will relegate from the league. Their big defensive issues will cost them the league. Otherwise they aren't having any difficulty in scoring goals. They have lost their most important defender who was Fofana. This has made them even weaker in defense. I don't know what Rodgers is thinking now. But they need to make some moves for strengthening their defense in January. This seems to be the only way to save themselves from a disaster.

Thankfully Erik ten Hag doesn't prefer Maguire in the starting eleven of important games anymore. He started to choose him in only Europa League games lately. He isn't a reliable defender for any big team at the moment. I think that he might be sold after the end of the season also if they find a better replacement for him. He shouldn't be even the last resort for Manchester United I mean.  

If Ronaldo also leaves the team at the end of the season then Manchester United should go for a good striker transfer. They can't continue with only Rashford. Antony has been brought here but he isn't a striker. Some people think that he is here to replace Ronaldo so that's why I wanted to say that. However Ronaldo might decide to stay if Manchester United make it to the Champions League this time.

Rodrygo's recent performance has been impressive really. In the absence of Benzema, it was a big question about if Rodrygo would be able to do a good job. But he deleted the doubts on a large scale by improving his performance more. He has scored 3 goals and made 2 assists in 4 league games so far. He is a young talent and Real Madrid wouldn't like to give up on him soon as long as he is useful for the team. There were some speculations about him like he would be signed by another big team. But if he continues to play like this Real Madrid wouldn't lean towards a deal easily.

Liverpool are one of the teams I'm curious about the most these days. Because after their really bad start we all wonder how quick they will be able to recover. The point difference with the leader is getting bigger every week as long as they don't have a consistent performance.

However their performance against Ajax was really promising. Even though Ajax were one of the tough teams to face for them they still had everything under control throughout the game and won it. This was like the footsteps of recovery for Liverpool. But they need to do the same in the Premier League too. They aren't late for anything in the end. Manchester City made a comeback from an even worse condition in the league in the past and became even the champions by a big point difference. Maybe the scenario wouldn't be the exact same one for Liverpool but they can be a part of the title race until the end.
