4141  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 22, 2016, 08:34:54 AM
i havent bought any bitcoin yet but i will cause i should,i plan to use it as capital for trading and otger ways of earning
if you want to trade you must have enough capital. if you do not have the capital then you can not do that. if you would have the capital then you should buy or collect bitcoin first

Or he could start small by buying and selling bitcoin. You can always start small while still getting the right amount of bitcoin you need to start margin trading. And while you are still on that process of collecting coins, you can study strategies and advance your skills thru practice trading in forex.
4142  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 22, 2016, 07:28:11 AM
Just save a parentage of every money that you earn just put it on the side, this way you will be able to save money.
It is just like holding on to Bitcoin hold on to your money and not spend it.

But what if someone earn some amount of money and his expenditures are much higher that he will unable to save some money from them, that is what the OP want to ask I think, the better answer is that try to adopt some extra work like part time job and save from there

You will still have to stick to your plan of saving that certain percentage of money. Many people always fail to save money because they always allocate their money to expenses first and what is left is put into savings. That strategy will always fail. But if you set aside the money for saving, put it in a bank or somewhere safe and then work on the money you have left. If what left is not enough for your expenses, you should analyze your expenses and remove those that are not important and stick to basic expenses first. Do that until you find a better job or extra income.
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 22, 2016, 04:59:11 AM
It depends on how I became rich. If I was rich because I get the treasure or inheritance abundant, perhaps I will remain gambling, but if I'm rich because of a good job, then I will focus on my job and stop such gambling.
i think if you have become rich from gambling. then it is difficult for you to quit gambling. because i do not believe on the statement that often people give that they will stop gambling if they become rich. i personally dont think so.
Yes, once a gambler always will be a gambler. Unless some twisted fate will force that person to quit gambling like losing everything to gambling. People who got rich because of gambling will continue to gamble. But those who got rich who is not a gambler in nature, will not be tempted easily on gambling.
4144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome To The Blockchain on: July 22, 2016, 03:45:40 AM
Good song. Nice explanation of bitcoin and blockchain too. But I am not a real fan of rap music. Can you make metal, rock or alternative rock music about bitcoin and blockchain too? For people like me who likes those kind of music genre.
4145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: July 22, 2016, 03:34:14 AM
Bitcoin don't need PayPal. I am really surprised why they are taking this decision lately, indeed PayPal will be more benefited.
By the way it would help bitcoin can join the mainstream in near future then hopefully bitcoin will replace paypal indirectly.

As others are saying, it can be a way to expose bitcoin to millions of paypal users that do not know bitcoin yet. And it can be useful for bitcoin users as an easy way to convert their bitcoin to fiat. I would use it if it has lower fees than what I am using right now. And I hope paypal will also allow to purchase bitcoin using paypal funds. I have paypal funds sitting idly on my account because I am waiting for a way to convert it to bitcoin directly without me withdrawing it first.
4146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: July 21, 2016, 11:52:49 AM
I think you are wrong when written this topic, gambling is same with betting. it's another word that spoken and have the same meaning and significance.

I think by betting the OP means the sport betting, he want to know about sports betting and about gambling, but still both are the same the only difference is that one is based on luck and the other on skills.
thats true, in my opinion it is better to do some sports betting instead of just gambling your money because with betting you can have some knowledge with it in my opinion

Every one who loves sports and follow them religiously will obviously pick sports betting over dice/roulette (or the like) gambling. But people like me who do not follow sports that much but like to gamble will go for dice/roulette. I think it has the same odds with following blindly sports betting tips.
4147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: July 21, 2016, 11:47:49 AM
Why everyone is using the Word of Fun for only gambling, if gambling is a game, so all games are interesting and entertainment, not funny, Gambling is not a drama or play, it is a real and mind blowing game.
For me, nothing is funny in gambling.
What do you think of FUN in gambling?

Gambling add thrill to a normally fun game or sports. So, if you are watching basketball and you have a favorite team, you have fun watching them win. Then gambling will add a thrill on the on their every games you are watching if you bet on your team. Every fouls, every shots made will add emotions into it because it is not just a game, it have money in it.
4148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: July 21, 2016, 11:42:14 AM
Invest is like another way in gamble, you dont know what will happen in your invest also it will consume much time
But in gamble, like sport gamble its easy to get win. Also it dont take much time to get the result

Yes you have a point. But when you invest it is much safer if you know where to put your money. In sports betting you could win easy but lose easy also. And even if you put your money on the winnable team you can still lose just like that. In investing you can cut loss when you realize you make the wrong decision.

bbc.reporter is right. You can still lose on a winnable team. There is no guarantee in both gambling and investing. It is just a matter of minimizing the risk to the lowest level. In investing, researching the right investment instrument and going for your risk level is the key. It is not an instant money, but it can make great amount if you give it enough time. While in gambling, you can still minimize your risk if you know the stats of each team and you follow the sports well. But as bbc.reporter said, there is still a chance to lose. That is,  if your luck went against you.
4149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2016, 09:11:09 AM
Since the price of Bitcoin changes a lot, so I know most of you are investing large amounts of money in Bitcoin.
But why are you doing this? to make money by selling them after a price increase? or is it just to have something to do on the internet?
And since the price can increase and decrease, you can lose this invested money, what would you do?

In investment, it is already given that there is a chance that you can fail and lose your money. In stocks, the stock can be mismanaged and stock price will fall. In business, it may not pick up and you go bankrupt. The same with investing in bitcoin. You should be prepared if ever that happens and you should only invest a part of your money which you can afford to lose. Personally I am not investing in bitcoin. But I do earn it thru signature campaign. And the coins I earn I use in trading alt coins.
4150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: July 20, 2016, 09:37:29 PM
Hello guys,do anyone here know's some old person's who actually make bitcoins by investing them or i dont know,by signature campaining ?
I was wondering about it for some time,i just never heard about someone older than 45 years and making bitcoins.

Age is irrelevant. It is the understanding and open mindedness that matters. If you are techy enough and understand what bitcoin is and what it can do, you will want to have bitcoin either for investment or just for spending.
4151  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 07:48:27 AM
to be honest in my opinion gambling is a really bad thing, i think it is the worst thing you can do if you actually want to save any of your bitcoins and make a living
i think in order to earn a living with bitcoins i would just invest a lot of money into it at the moment and then wait for big price increase that would make me some money

Its true. You have to be with the House if you want to win, because the House always wins.

I don't think that is a smart decision to make as earning a living from gambling is really risky and if you loose constantly then you need to beg on the streets for food.

If you really want to earn and have a steady income from gambling, just like dippididodaday said, be with the house. It means instead of gambling or betting, invest in casino. As they say, the house always win. So if you are invested in it, you are sure your money will always win. Just be careful in choosing the right casino to invest in.
4152  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 20, 2016, 07:43:08 AM
Money cant buy anything, even if you are the richest man alive, there is a one thing you cant buy. For me rich stands for ,happy family,
It cannot buy everything but it sure makes life easier. You need money to have a good and secure life. And you need money to feed and shelter your happy family. That is why you work hard and try to make yourself rich, so you can provide for your happy family. And to make sure they have what they need when they need it.
4153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 18, 2016, 06:15:54 AM
wow...that's really sad and hurt man...

why don't you keep play with the safe margins?

Why play it on dice when you can try playing on sites where you know you have more than 50+ chance of wining. my suggestion is try to do it on secondstrade.com
or maybe just trade altcoin, this may take time but at least you won't see your coins snatched from you in just a second.

Just avoid gambling, that's it! Maybe gambling is not for you, it is better to stop than to lose a lot of money. Think that saving money is better than to use it from gambling. You can feel better when you see that what you have saved is growing from your hard works.

His suggestion about trading is good too. You can have the same feeling you get from gambling when you do trading without the fear of losing too much. Besides, in trading, you have more control over the outcome or profit and not just rely on odds or luck.
4154  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 17, 2016, 05:28:05 PM
Earning them at the moment rather than buying them, and considering buying some with my Mechanical Turk income once it gets rolling (there is sooo much verification period).

Same here, never bought a single bitcoin yet. Worked hard to earn it though. Can you buy bitcoin directly using your mech turk credits? My account there has been dormant because I can't get my credits in cash, only gift checks. But if I can use it to buy bitcoins, I think I'll open it  again.
4155  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 17, 2016, 05:13:30 PM
The strategy for becoming rich is that, if we do not have any money then start any work and save money as much as possible and after that we have have to search for a good investment and have to invest there, or if it is possible we have to start a good business.
I have an interesting question. why people use the investment to be rich? that so my question is. Can I become rich without having to invest?

You can become rich if you have some unique skills from where you can generate regular income, and if you can manage that successfully then you don't need to invest money anywhere.
yeah I think we do not need to invest in if you already have more income and you still have the energy to work. maybe I'll invest when I was already rich and getting older
Investments need time to grow before it can give you nice profit. If you will just invest when your old, then I think you should not invest at all. Just use your money for your medical and health maintenance. Unless you will invest on hyip or ponzi, which I think is a bad idea.

People who want to get rich quickly will invest in ponzi's and at the end of the day lose more then then could have make, by investing in a real assets.
Scams are for greedy investors only.
We can't blame them. The promises of these ponzi's are really alluring and just too good. It is hard to resist especially if you are new to investing. People need to be educated on this types of scams and should learn on how to control their greed.
4156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: July 17, 2016, 04:15:41 AM
Do you always missed the right time to sell or buy bitcoin?
When I buy it crashes and when I sell it pumps. Go figure. Huh

Are you going for losses or profits? As far as I know, when the price goes down, give time and it will pump back up. So, you just sell when the price is going up and you have profit. And when you buy and it crashes, don't panic sell. Wait for it to pump back up.
4157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 17, 2016, 04:10:33 AM
Just like what I said here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290215.msg15453353#msg15453353

Trading is one example of gambling. Why?
Because gambling is basically putting your money to risk.
You may lose your money if you did not predicted nicely.

You will lose money if you do not use your head and just trade blindly. That is why there is called research and charts. You use them to predict properly and not trade no blindly. If you do that, the risk is lessen and it will not be too much of a gamble. You will be assured of profit for all your trade. Just do your work first before doing trades.

So meaning if a person is not doing his research and just follows what he reads in this forum when he wants to trade altcoins, can that be considered that he is gambling? I think it can be.

That is plain laziness and stupidity combined. You know you will not survive trading if you do not arm yourself with enough knowledge and research but you still choose to trade. Just do gambling, atleast you are enjoying the games.
4158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 17, 2016, 04:03:27 AM
You can not quit gambling suddenly. You need some time and also you need to follow some methods. Make any other habit to kill your free time. If you do not control then do any other things with Bitcoin, Like trading or any other small business. Then your concentration will turn to your work. If you addict to this, then you easily forget to gamble.

Yeah, I believe that too. There is no instant cure in gambling addiction. The best way is to gradually remove it out of your system. Just like you said, by focusing your attention to other things can help you. And you can seek out the help of professinals so they can guide you in quitting gambling. They are more equipped to help you out of your addiction.
4159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 16, 2016, 05:12:40 PM
everyone has their own opinion. when he decided to play gambling then he has to know the various risks. gambling is not wrong, just like any other game of gambling. but gambling playing with risking the money we have.
What I know is gambling is very risky but can never be wrong, the gambler itself is the only wrong person if they cannot manage gambling properly because that would destroy their lives if they will become greedy in gambling.

yes gambling is very risky once you've play this without of control. But if you play gambling in smart way well I think it will not very risky at all. Not all who plays gambling destroying their lives but it is really depend on us if we just let it.

Hard to say you can gamble smartly if you got addicted to it. Impulse will pull you to bet more even when losing. When you have very little self discipline, don't start gambling at all or you will risk being addicted and destroying your life. But if you have very good control of your self, you can try gambling and see if it may not go wrong for you.
4160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 04:19:25 PM
I did not put any money on bitcoin, just my time on it. I trade what little I earn from signature campaigns and faucets before that. Took me a while to earn enough to start trading but now it is enough to make it roll.
