I think we will see another price jump pretty soon once it is added to another exchange. (Which should be within the next month or two according to the dev teams posts on the DO forums). Now that DeepVault is out we should see more and more exciting development additions to the coin as well. Clearly the coin is being supported.
Another reason to see DeepOnion price going up soon is the recent btc price increased to $5,600+ |

Hi, I want to test my 24 words before sending a big amount of coins to my Nano ledger S device, could you tell me how to do this?
I have a few altcoins already in my wallet (custom token from MEW) and want to test entering one word by one from my 24 passphrase words, just to make sure they all were well spelled.
I was able to do that with Trezor, but apparently, this Nano ledger doesn't have that option? the only option I can see if formatting all and get new 24 words, which is not what I am looking for.
One option I know is doing it on a new computer, but want to try on the same computer where the apps are already installed.

I have 7000 onions I purchased from novaexchange.com but afraid to update my wallet to try deepvault feature. Is there an online guide that can teach me how to update it without messing up my deeponion wallet?
Sorry for not trusting it's just that I have lots of money invested on this and don't want to risk losing my onions.
Backup your wallet.dat file, and your private keys FIRST - Put them somewhere safe. Then, In my case all that I did was I download the new version, overwrote the existing .exe and launched. It was as simple as that. When a user does a backup, I think the private key is already in the backup, right? |
