4141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Bustabit phishing site on: December 11, 2020, 01:29:04 AM
Good find, I myself has seen gambling phishing sites, FAKE dice2.win. And then we have, @DroomieChikito, Be Aware Phishing Roobet.com.

Bustabit is one of the most popular crash games so I'm not surprised that cyber criminals are baiting with this kind of phishing sites. So it's better to bookmark online gambling sites that we frequented so as not to fall for this kind of traps.

I'm sure the same people are behind this malicious websites.
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 08, 2020, 12:02:39 PM
I still think Joshua will win this fight but it will not be straightforward.

He has learned mate, he will not be as aggressive as he was before because it will make him careless, the loss against Ruiz was already enough for him to adjust and use his advantage over a fighter, slowly but at least a sure win for him. A KO win or decision, it doesn't matter because he will fight Fury next and that's the biggest fight of his career.

I don't know if Joshua's confidence is already back but the way i saw it on the rematch against Ruiz, it's still not there. He was vey clever on using his jabs to keep Ruiz at bay which was his biggest advantage on that rematch but on this upcoming fight against Pulev, they got almost the same reach and the advantage of AJ is only his age so far  Smiley.

It's because Ruiz did knock him out in their first fight. So in the rematch he is more cautious and just cruising for a victory, just to be in the safe side. So good tactic by Joshua and not pushing to go for the knock out so I would say that his confidence his back.

If AJ won't be aggressive here then i think there will be no KO as he will be playing safe and a bet for AJ by Decision @4.50 is imminent for me.

Pulev is a different opponent though, so I think Joshua will go aggressive again and will look for a knockout win here. And I'm sure he is not taking this fight lightly and over look Pulev the way he over look Ruiz and not thinking of his potential fight with Wilder.
4144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best trusted exchange for trading Altcoins with no KYC? on: December 08, 2020, 09:23:33 AM
On top of my head is Binance, a lot of top altcoins but not all though, shitcoin are not their thing.

And then we have Bybit and Bitmex as well. But overall though, Binance still top everything, one of the best in the game right now, liquidity and trading volume is also very good.

So best of luck and happy trading.

4146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some twist in take for BTC what's next? on: December 07, 2020, 10:26:19 PM
I think we are still the bullish flag though,

- price seems to be bouncing around $19k levels. If we can maintained this level, this is already a win for us.
- if we go to $19,500, then we should expect around run to $20k.

Worth to mentioned though that the trading volume is low, but I think this is a sign that something might brewing up in the next coming days. Sort of calm before a storm, so there is still that big possibility of a break to $20k++.
4147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake ETH and Uni giveaway on: December 07, 2020, 09:28:57 PM
Honestly the domain name is quite confusing. I am sure it will confuse many users to get scam. I have to admit that scammer is very clever and that's why he choose that domain. Anyway, those running for free tokens, most probably they would fall in such as trap.
Owner of this site choose this domain to take this advantage and interestingly they have blended the name of ETH & Uniswap together to hunt them who know about both platform. You can call him clever but this is why they are scammer who apply all their trick to make others fool.

Exactly, for us experienced crypto users, the name of the site is confusing as we al know that ETH and UNI at least does not sound good. But for those newbies, this is definitely eye catching for them with you have two of the hottest name in the business right now.

So these criminals are wise enough now, if you can call them clever because we know that it can really fool many newbies to this fake giveaway.
4148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Swap Scam on: December 07, 2020, 05:24:37 PM
What can be done if anything through legal avenues for people to get their stolen money back?

There are already large companies in the world that are fighting against online fraud, hacking, theft of funds, etc.
https://www.group-ib.ru/
If you have been cheated for a large amount and you have the means to hire professionals, then you can try to contact such companies.
But their services are very expensive 50-100 thousand dollars and more.
They work with the police of many countries, and after the fraudsters are found, their data will be transferred to the police.

That's the thing though, if you have been scam just a couple of thousands of dollars then it doesn't make sense to spend $50-$100 thousand just to chase those criminals. However, perhaps these victims can group themselves together to strengthen the case and maybe they can file it against those fighting online frauds.

I'm not really sure though if this has precedence already. As far as I know, it's either the US DOJ or SEC are filing criminal complaints and chasing this fraudulent projects in crypto space

4150  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3rd times the charm 20K on: December 06, 2020, 10:54:15 PM
I think bears, skeptics, and longer term bulls alike were blindsided by how fast this push to $20K happened. The combination of scared bears and confident bulls makes me feel like a brutal shakeout is still very possible from here, in which case the push above $20K would be postponed until Q1 next year.
If that is the real scenario then it would be cool as many were planning to invest but the pandemic forced to change the plans and if there is a major shakeout then everyone who missed out earlier would be able to invest. I am also expecting a good correction before we see the price reaching new levels but whenever there is a correction there are huge investment coming in and hence not sure how the market will perform by the end of this year.

Yes, the push to $20k was very fast and very early, I remember a poll, the majority thinks that the price will be somewhat around $16k at the end of the year. So this is an expected growth in the last month or so pushing it to $20k. So we were caught unprepared on this unprecedented run that's why the selling pressure is huge and seen it goes down to $16k. But it didn't stop their though, the run continues again.

But as I have said, selling pressure, the somewhat stabilised in the $19k region. So a $20k++ will likely to be breach again Q1.
4151  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: December 06, 2020, 10:28:39 PM
A few days back there was this news from Venezuela that the army is involved in Bitcoin mining.

https://news.bitcoin.com/venezuela-army-mining-bitcoin-for-unblockable-income/

I don't know how successful their efforts will be, as Venezuela is not producing any mining equipment currently. They need to import their mining rigs from foreign nations such as China and South Korea (which again is going to be difficult, as sanctions and embargoes are in place). I assume that they have surplus electricity which can be directed to these mining farms, but even then capital costs can be very significant.

I'm thinking what if the government themselves started this whole mining rigs and farms in their country and import directly from China? I'm sure that many nations are willing to help specially against US oppression in that region.

Although building this farm entail a lot of money and capital to begin with. But we will never know if Maduro himself is willing to try this strategy to get away from sanctions and embargo from the West.
4152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adaptability is very important on: December 06, 2020, 09:53:06 PM
Be it a newbie, expert or professional bitcoin and crypto currency trader or crypto currency investor with adequate skills; you definitely need to understand how to adapt to market situations.

Of course, not just in crypto market, in life, one should adapt to its environment otherwise you will not survived. And it crypto, this market is very volatile that no single strategy are going to work in the long run. So as traders and investors, you will have to stay up to date with your strategy as well.

What does adaptability entails? Adaptability teaches you and lets you know when to switch from "sell at resistance" to "buying the breakouts of resistance" within split seconds. Know this and be at an advantage especially during price correction that occurs during bull run of prices.

But it takes time and experience to learn to be adaptable in this market. In the beginning, you might loss some money but gain exposure and experience that will serve you better in the future. So we should learn from our past mistakes, not to repeat it and be a good and successful trader in the future.
4153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 06, 2020, 05:11:36 PM
Obviously Garcia waited to long for the right time to land his punch and he paid a big price, he is the challenger he should take the fight to the champion, if he is really serious and persistent to become a world champion again, I guess he needs to go on another weight division to show his skills, welterweight is not for him anymore.

We can't blame Garcia for that because he is more of a counter-puncher. He can't change his fighting style overnight and his father knows that. We also have to credit Spence for not committing that mistake of being too overconfident and engaging Danny in a slugfest. Now we can conclude that Errol Spence remains one of the top dog in the welterweight division along with Crawford but I don't think a fight with Manny is possible.

I agree, Garcia was indeed a counter-puncher and this is his strategy in this fight. And Spence was prepared for it as he always protected his chin all night because he knows that Garcia has a powerful left.  If was a display of Spence getting back, as if he didn't lost any step of his boxing ability. But I would say there's some ring rust early, but Spence was able to shake it off, sign of a very good fighter.

I think we can say that Garcia is not an elite level fighter, just a good welter weight. Crawford and Spence on top, then we have Thurman and Porter and then Garcia. And of the legend is still there Pacquaio.
4154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concise Table of CEX&DEX Lists. on: December 05, 2020, 10:53:36 PM
I'm not really sure how you could incorporate this one, List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges.

Although this is an old lists, but I believed some of them are still being used or applicable this 2020.

And regarding hack exchanges,

(a) Hacked Exchanges since 2011
(b) [Updated] List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks.
4155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Chinese Quantum Computer breakthrough - should we be concerned? on: December 05, 2020, 12:00:09 PM
If even if QC can make a break through, will it be mass produce? I doubt, it will just remain in the hands of the governments, or perhaps to scientist so that they can make a new medicine break through. So it's more likely that breaking bitcoin will be the first used of Quantum Computers, Lol.

It is a concerned? of course, but it shouldn't be the priority and I'm sure Bitcoin Core has been thinking of this scenario for many years that they could have seen and be ready by the time this computers arrived in the marketplace.
4156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 05, 2020, 11:21:19 AM
Don't get me wrong, but most of them are shitcoin anyways, so why not dump them this early and switch to a better altcoin like Ethereum or go all in  Bitcoin?

I have a couple of tokens from the ICO in 2018, unfortunately, I can't dump them right now because the project eventhough it has been listed on exchanges are not allowing any one to trade with it. So I'm stuck, you are lucky that some of your tokens are already tradeable so If I'm in your shoes, I will liquidate all of them and stick to more promising altcoins, specially in the top 10.
4157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking Bitcoin profit in the bull run | Please Share your strategy on: December 05, 2020, 10:44:16 AM
You have said it all, the simple strategy is buy at low and sell when the price reach higher. Determine the appropriate time of this circle, which is the hardest part to do. You need to stay active always for observing the market and price movement. Stable coin price don't change much, though all together it may cost a bit. Personally I like to hold for long time.

That is the simply strategy and yet very effective method. So can simply buy at low price or stack sats as many as you can and sell on the top before it blows off. It's just the matter of timing on where you are going to sell, so this is also very important.

And then we have the short term trading, just trying to squeeze profits as they can, probably 10%-20% profit in a month or two is not that bad.

So there is no secret formula here, it really depends on how you want to take profit here, you wanna be a a long term holder, or short term trading, its up to you on how you are going to use this kind of strategy and see how it will fit your goals here.

A lot of this scams are popping in high numbers right now because altcoin market is having a bull run of their own.

And that's why scammers are also very quick on creating a lot of fake websites to trap and fall for this scheme. It will be a pity if someone fall for this and I do hope that one one will be a a casualty here.
4159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Asia: Top developments for 2021 on: December 04, 2020, 11:32:45 PM
Yeah, I think Japan, China and South Korea leading the way, More Than 95% of Crypto Futures Volume Is in Asia: Report. And then we have those developing countries, like the Philippines, Meet The 6 Cryptocurrency Exchanges In Philippines Registered With BSP, and then Indonesia, Binance Invests in Regulated Indonesian Crypto Exchange.

And I think this trend will continue in the next coming years and it could be Asia be dubbed as crypto hub with all the adoption and development and support of the government going around.
4160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 04, 2020, 11:08:30 PM
Errol Spence looks very focus in this fight in my opinion and not taking Garcia lightly as this is also his comeback fight.
He should, though he is still the favorite, some people already have doubt on him. This is just a weigh in, we will see the real body language once they are in the ring to fight which will happen tomorrow. Can't wait to see this fight, I believe this is a close one, if there's no KO, it will be by a split decision.

I don't know about you guys, but it seems that Spence is really weight drain during the weigh-in?

Garcia's body seems to be perfect at this weight class but Spence, he should be going to 154 lbs with that frame and height of his. For sure he can rehydrate after this weigh in but I don't know how long can he really squeeze in this welterweight division.

Anyway, the wait is over, as Danny said, eat and then fight tomorrow.
