4141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any chance of getting 1 Btc of less than 1000$ again? on: July 12, 2019, 05:18:11 PM
Is there any chance of getting 1 Btc of less than 1000$ again?
Before anything else e.g speculations, predictions, etc.
What's the purpose of asking that in the first place?
Other than speculation what else can we tell here, he just want to invest if the price goes down to those levels, if the price were to go down to those levels the bear market we had last year would have taken the price to those levels and we never saw those levels and the possibility of going back to those levels are remote, as everyone mentioned flash crashes could be a possibility other than that you need to have a time machine to get the coins from those levels  Tongue, people are speculating that the price would reach new levels in the upcoming rally and OP is dreaming about $1k levels  Roll Eyes.
4142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 12, 2019, 02:22:12 PM
England has always been an unlucky team whether in football or cricket. They are the mother of cricket but has not been able to win a single world cup till date. Though they reached finals and semi finals many times. They are certainly one of their strongest time and have a well balanced team good enough to win the world cup in the home grounds.
They never won a world cup because they never performed well under pressure in the past and the team England has right now is the best team they could have in the history of English one day tournaments and if they cannot perform well and take the world cup away from New Zealand then there is no way they will win another world cup in a really long time, the specialty of this final is that if either of them win the world cup it will be their first time holding the trophy in 44 years of world cup history.

People who said India or Australia were going to the finals don't know jack shit about cricket. England was always the better team, and India was just getting lucky.
Looks like you have amnesia to forget your claim that India will be facing England in the finals earlier as JSRAW pointed out  Tongue.
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 12, 2019, 08:20:52 AM
I already mentioned way before the tournament started that New Zealand were the dark horse, but many people felt otherwise. Look where we are now. I am supporting NZ all the way and am confident that they can take down the powerful England side.
The rain gods have helped the dark horse against their match with India and rain interrupted most of the group stage matches and if every match was played i really doubt whether New Zealand would be in the semi finals considering Pakistan had same points even though they shared points for two matches and one would have being a certain victory against Srilanka.
This is the best team England ever had and if they cannot lift the world cup this time they will never get another chance  Cheesy.
4144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are big leaders now opposing cryptocurrencies suddenly? on: July 12, 2019, 06:59:37 AM
If at any time, I don't even know when, cryptocurrency is generally accepted throughout the world, then Mike Tramp's dream when creating When The Children Cry songs will be real. "No more presidents, And all the wars will end, One united world under God"
A situation like this is not even hypothetically possible to have one united world, the world revolves around competition and you can compare everything you see in your daily life and you will see the competition factor, so unity is a dream that will not be achieved in a normal world  Wink.

@OP I see that Trump tweeted about his point of view, the problem here is that almost every stock trader or financial investor invest in something seeing the potential and the growth using constraint , you can view it in away way or form but mathematically constraint is used to determine how they evaluate things with a set of factors including company performance and policies to determine where they are heading to achieve their goals, but when it comes to bitcoin market or the crypto market in general there is not set constraint as the market moves based on supply and demand solely and that confuses almost all investors as they do not understand how to set a correlation, the only solution is to accept the new market and move on  Cheesy.
4145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 07, 2019, 05:14:22 AM
It was a crazy fight card and Jon Jones won by split decision even with Thiago Santos injuring his knee in the first round, the power of Thiago Santos was evident and Jones was cautious even though he was injured, i wonder what if Santos could do if his knee did not gave away in the first round Shocked
Ben Askren getting knocked out in 5 seconds with a flying knee when he went for his legs which was crazy
Amanda knocking out Holly Holmes with her trademark head kick
Luke Rockhold getting knocked out was expected as he could not handle 185 pounds power how can he handle 205 pounds  Grin.

Here are the results for UFC 239
Jon Jones (c)         def.   Thiago Santos   Decision (split) (48-47, 47-48, 48-47)
Amanda Nunes (c)   def.   Holly Holm   TKO (head kick and punches)
Jorge Masvidal         def.   Ben Askren   KO (flying knee)
Jan Błachowicz         def.   Luke Rockhold   KO (punches)
Michael Chiesa         def.   Diego Sanchez   Decision (unanimous) (30-26, 30-26, 30-26)

4147  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Tether Supply a driver of Bitcoin Prices on: July 04, 2019, 10:22:46 PM
Been seeing so many different articles on this. Charts show a strong correlation in supply of tether with rise in BTC prices. Is Tether supply and trading a significant driver of Bitcoin prices in 2019 up from $3k level in Dec 2018?
One thing I am aware of Tether is that when we had a huge rally in bitcoin during 2017 there were questionable amount of Tether being generated without any proof and it was a topic during that time and we all know about the court case regarding it, Tether used to manipulate earlier but not certain about the present situation where there was scruituny regarding their business practices.

Do you guys think McGregor will return to the Octagon? I just don’t think he is hungry any more, he’s made so much money to keep his family secure. I just don’t know if he’ll ever be the bright eyed fighter we saw previously.
I don’t think he trains as hard & is as dedicated to the sport as he once was.
I am sure he wants a rematch against Khabib Nurmagomedov and he wanted to test his punching power once more and i am sure Dana White and the UFC wants that rematch to happen as that will be the biggest pay per view show in their companies history, if McGregor looses the rematch he might retire from MMA as he is making so much money from his whiskey business and he might come back only for a big money fight, i would like to see a rematch between Dustin Poirier, Jose Aldo and Max Holloway before fight Khabib Nurmagodedov as there is no chance for him to win against him.

~snip
My prediction for UFC 239 are
  • Jon Jones
  • Amanda Nunes v Holly Homes over 2.5
  • Ben Askren
  • Michael Chiesa
4149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 04, 2019, 09:41:47 PM
Pakistan should rely on their talent but instead they are talking about miracles. In any case, they would win this match but not qualify and they had many chances before which they lost.
The Pakistan teams strength lies in batting first and putting a big score without any pressure of chasing and they won the first game against England batting first and their strength is bowling and if they can put a good total on board they have the bowlers to defend it, the Pakistan captain won many toss and instead of batting they opted to bowl first and they lost those matches as they are not capable to score runs under pressure and after the defeat against India they had three wins in a row and that is because they defended those totals and in the two run chases the bowlers restricted the opposition for a small total.
4150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 04, 2019, 08:23:30 PM
Prominent Chinese media houses love Bitcoin and believe that the number one cryptocurrency is a safe haven asset given rising tensions in the socio-political relations among global economic powerhouses..
There is nothing wrong in believing bitcoin to be a safe heaven and they are under an oppressive government and if they want financial freedom they will opt for a decentralized currency but the government already had plans to disrupt the market and so is the reason regulations were implemented for the exchanges operating from China but there was a shift in the tide as Japan and Korea embraced the market and had full support. Now China is not the focal point as there was a time when every news from China had an implication on the market  Grin.
4151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 04, 2019, 07:24:40 PM
1st semi final most probably will be Australia vs NewZealand if Australia beat South Africa, so there is almost certainty Australia will reach in final. But 2nd final will be very interesting, India and England will be again face each other in semi final and India will try to revenge their group stage lost again England.
There is one more match for India and Australia and if there is an upset there might be a chance for a change in the match, by the way things are going, Australia will be facing New Zealand and England will be facing India, I expect Australia and India to face in the finals and it looks like we will see the rematch of 2003 world cup finals.
4152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎾🏆 Wimbledon 2019 - Discussion Thread 🏆🎾 on: July 04, 2019, 06:33:28 PM
Venus Williams really does look a shadow of her former self. At 39 though, it’s not a surprise is it. Unfortunately age creeps up on all of us & we can’t do what we could do in our mid 20’s Cheesy
It was a shitty match as I never expected Venus Williams to perform like that, I was expecting her experience could be more than enough to win her match, but I have lost more bets on her in the past two years and I made a decision on not to bet on her ever again as whenever I bet her to win she lose the match 0-2. Grin
4153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt thinks Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme on: July 04, 2019, 05:27:46 PM
Just because of the crash bitcoin has been labeled a ponzi scheme? What government are you having?? Probably they are not doing their own researches on cryptocurrency. At the first place why is it just now? Bitcoin had ups and downs why didn't they banned bitcoin at the first place when it first drops from $30 to $2?
There are many news coming out of India regarding how the government is planning to look at the new market place, it is not because of the crash they are labeling it as ponzi and none of the officials said that about bitcoin, some illiterate members who does not have any knowledge about the market have said those things about bitcoin and the central bank has banned the banking sector from dealing with businesses related to crypto and that is the real situation in India from what i understand, after the G20 summit there are news coming out that they will be coming up with regulation .
4154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with most new projects? on: July 04, 2019, 04:06:11 PM
Even as market has been improving rapidly in the past months , why do this new projects keep failing?
I am not sure what projects you are talking about, if the market goes up because of bitcoin, never expect other projects to go higher, people will sell their alt coins to enter into the bitcoin market and so is the reason you usually see the alt coin market going down when the bitcoin rally starts, it is not a new thing and we have seen that in the past and it will happen again.
4155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: July 04, 2019, 02:35:54 PM
We all are aware that Elon Musk has publicly stated that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. At present Dogecoin found a new fan,
John McAfee, the most popular public figures in the crypto industry. John has agreed that Dogecoin is cryptocurrency gearing up for a big price rally.
What's your take on this, will dogecoin price surge up?
We all know that Elon Musk posted about dogecoin on April 1 and it is a fact that he intended it to be fun and nothing else as you need some fun once in a while, but his fun tweet has made some interest in the market and made the price rise, i like dogecoin and it is a fun coin and you can use that to play in gambling sites and with the amount of coins in circulation i never expect any huge rally in it.

About John McAfee and his words, never listen to what he says, i invested in the scam projects he advertised and tweeted so not commenting further about him.
4156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 04, 2019, 02:12:15 PM
If it become a India vs Australia final then I will risk a good amount of money for India for sure. So, I will not mind if they win the World Cup.
I do not have a personal preference at all. I will watch the match and will go with the better team and I think India will do better if they win the toss and bat first.
The chances for Australia and India in the finals are real and if they can face again in the final i am certain that they will repay the memories of  the 2003 world cup finals where Australia especially Ricky Ponting destroyed the Indian bowlers and i still remember Sachin getting out to McGrath looking to pull the ball but instead getting a top edge and going in the air and then i switched off the television and went out to play cricket and then returned back later to see Virender Sehwag making a lone battle for India and getting run out in the end  Cheesy.

West Indies posted a huge total and there is no way that Afghanistan is going to chase that score, going to be a trashing win for West Indies.
4157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Locking the Bounty coins without information in the Thread is form of decieving! on: July 04, 2019, 01:20:23 PM
Decieving Bounty Campaigns are scattered in the forum today in order to gain participants to start with a hype and a so called community. Bounty hunters fight for your right. give a negative review if you notice that your right as a bounty hunter was degraded. join the fight.
If you are not aware of the fact that these scammers are using you "the bounty hunters" to make money and run off with the investors money because you helped them advertise their scam projects, you are not engaging in any contract for them to oblige with your demands and hence these scammers are using you and your team of bounty hunters to scam innocent investors  Tongue. May sure you join together and fight against fake projects and stop advertising fake projects.
4158  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is a fake bit coin bull run don't fall for it on: July 04, 2019, 12:47:41 PM
Aww man, you're so mean, altcoin market is taking a beating right now, while bitcoin dominance is growing.
Yes buddy i am truly sick of the alt coin market as i lost a shit ton of money to all the scams and projects who started just to loot our money and then dump their coins in the exchange and run away with the investors money, i knew the market would eventually turn like that without any regulation but i made a good profit with ETH but i sold everything when it touched $10 but then on i was looking at decent projects to invest and some made good profits but from 2017 4th quarter all the scam projects started coming out with decent looking promoters and fake vouches and drained me out basically. I still hold some alt coins but the price has hit rock bottom than the initial ICO price and not sure when they will be rising nor whether they will be rising at all, so if i see some say bullshit about bitcoin because alt coin is not rising i would naturally like to tease them  Cheesy.
4159  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is a fake bit coin bull run don't fall for it on: July 04, 2019, 12:07:31 PM
Bitcoin is back at 10k but every single alt coin hasn't really gone up
The growth is un organic and fake , maybe by 2 or 3 whales or maybe even a corrupt exchange
Just came to see your wonderful FOMO thread Tongue .
What is not organic with the price rise and what fake you are talking about, just do not dump your illusion, you need to explain why you think like that and which exchange are doing these rallies and if those fake rallies are so easy they could have made billions by now and why they are not doing that all the time  Tongue.
If you miss out on entering the market when the price was low, just forget about it and do not cry and say all these bullshit.
I am sure you are holding a ton of shit coins and not bitcoin and so is the reason you created this thread  Cheesy.
4160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 04, 2019, 11:38:29 AM
Zimbabwe used to be a team who were better than Bangladesh teams once. So does Kenya.
The political situation in Zimbabwe and Kenya destroyed their team and many players from those region are migrating to other countries and playing country cricket and that is why you see a sub par team now a days. Kenya had some good players like Odoyo, Maurice Odumbe, Steve Tikolo but i do not remember the rest of the names as it is difficult to remember  Cheesy.

West Indies is playing carefully and they have wickets in hand and if they are able to score above 250 runs then it will be a difficult chase for Afghanistan and i expect a comfortable win for West Indies if that is the case .
