I asked the national register in Costa Rica if I can verify if a legal person exist and this was their response:

Quote
Por este medio solo se brinda información sobre documentos defectuosos en trámite, cuyos defectos, son argumentados por los notarios como mal consignados.

Maybe someone can translate this to readable English?

Steven009 can request a court order, so what is the problem? If I am owed such a large amount and did nothing wrong, I will initiate legal action.

If he is right, he will get the coins!

You guys should at least read the entry post of OP. He asked why online gambling is illegal in the philippines, but live gambling not. Wink

I don't know how this stuff works, but found this list as one of their top linked sources:

http://ip-173-201-142-193.ip.secureserver.net/Alexa/Alexa_28.html

pretty close on the list...

141908   betsoftgaming.com
142221   betcoin.ag

They don't have connection but both are not paying jackpot. Betsoft is a casino game supplier which offers various casino games to all sites. Betcoin is just a site.
How do you know that they have no relation? Only an insider could know.

Quote
I hereby confirm that I have effectively cooperated and reached an agreement with Betcoin.ag and Betsoft in relation to a dispute over a jackpot payout.
Even the jackpot "settlement" states an agreement with Betsoft, even though betcoin.ag is solely the contract partner if you play slots at betcoin.ag.

And why do betcoin.ag persist to offer Betsoft scam gaming software, even after Betsoft allegedly did not pay? I mean almost everyone would quit after this desaster, wouldn't they?

In addition, the army of 70 promoters here on bitcointalk, while they have a very low poker traffic compared. This does not really look like a standalone site.

There are a lot of things indicating that they are connected...

Betsoft should be built and found before betcoin, casino game suppliers like betsoft do not need to operate a casino, many casinos(min 30, or 50, or 100?) implement betsoft games, which they can easily profit 100-1000 BTC per month(suppliers usually charge 10%-20% of net profit), they don't need to run a new site like betcoin, you also said betcoin is losing money. Why they run a casino with monthly losses?
With the introduction of Bitcoins, it would make sense for Betsoft to create their own, anonymous casino.

Betsoft rent their software to anonymous and criminal casinos, that would perfectly fit with the behaviour of betcoin.ag.

Betsoft <-> Betcoin

If Betsoft make up to USD 1 million per month, why did they not pay the jasonort jackpot? Does this make any sense? It was at least important for betcoin.ag/Betsoft that jasonort publicly state everything is fine.

Why all the trouble if Betsoft make that much money and not simply pay the jackpot?

If you offer Betsoft scam gaming software and they do not pay a crystal clear won 500 or even 1000 Bitcoins jackpot, then the only reason I can see why betcoin.ag would continue to offer Betsoft is because they are connected.

Betcoin.ag can never grow again after the jackpot fiasko, their business is destroyed, but as a thank you they continue to work with Betsoft? They continue to transfer the progressive jackpot contributions to Betsoft, knowing that Betsoft did not pay? Does this make any sense, if betcoin.ag is not connected to Betsoft?

This is good news about NitrogenSports' Alexa rank, as I offer them. Smiley
Pokerscout.com data compared:

Betcoin.ag: 7 day average: 20, 24 hour peak: 55

NitrogenSports: 7 day average: 14, 24 hour peak: 40

-> I would be not surprised if betcoin.ag somehow deliver faked data!

Alexa rank data compared:

4149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: January 31, 2017, 01:07:14 AM
1) A legally valid contract does not exist and everyone can demand the money sent back.

2) Genesis Mining is a very obvious scam, it took 5 minutes for me. They have the same scam style like the Betcoin.ag scam! and state 3 different jurisdictions that would be applicable, while in reality likely none of them is:

a) Genesis Mining Ltd., Chinachem Century Tower, 31/F, 178 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

b) Genesis Mining LTD, 3rd Floor, Par La Ville Place, 14 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton HM 08, Bermuda

c) 9. Governing Law, Language and Miscellaneous

"This Agreement is governed by German law. To the extent permitted by applicable law the parties agree that the competent courts of Munich shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any suit, action or proceeding, and to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this Agreement"

Betcoin.ag scam!

Betcoin.ag extort 500 Bitcoins Jackpot winner for "settlement"

In cooperation with Betsoft scam gaming software

Betcoin.ag is not a skin on the Winning Poker Network (WPN), otherwise you could join the huge cash game and Sit & Go traffic of the WPN.

Betcoin.ag join the WPN tournaments thru the Winning Tournament Network.

my email was hacked 4weeks ago... they closed my account as i requested"tbh they closed it without any proof it was actually me the owner" but w/e
then they refused to allow me to create a new account... so i had to get a phonecard for my old cellphone so i could reclaim my email...

5days ago they reactivated my account and even though i now have my email... the "request new pw" for betcoin isn't working... i sent a ticket 4days ago so they could help and still no reply... i was going to talk with live support today to see if they could forward it but the site seems to be down "Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server."

i have never liked betcoin but after losing my accounts i realized no matter how shitty they are and all the other wpn skins it's really the only choice for americans...

ignition may be a little better but it took 3weeks just to get verified to cashout and everytime i play there it's a new hassle...

betcoin brian is the one that refused to allow me a new account... i didn't take screenshots so believe what ever...
after telling him 2times my email was hacked i couldn't access it he kept repeating "why didn't you just change your password instead of having your account closed"

just go to wpn homepage there is basically 0 requirments for those monkeys who work there... and the sad thing is... betcoin brian and betcoin "andrew" are the names of the supervisors you talk to on any other skin... americas cardroom, betcoin, blackchip etc... with only 1network for me to play where i live everyskin is ran by the same monkeys who run betcoin i love poker, but i guess i will not being playing it until there are more options

oh and a few months back when i sent a report to them, saying tournament tickets could be exploited for entries into tournaments they're not meant for
staff told me it was nothing...

since it's nothing i'll posting here...
                         change user id
https://www.betcoin.ag/user/xxxx/dashboard/poker_tour_tickets/register/xxxxx
if you paste this into your browser with the id of a 2seat gtd you will exchange a step1 ticket for this entry...

i haven't tried this enough to know which ones you can or can't enter but it works 100% for 2seat dailys

you can find tournament ids in the pokerlobby

The government take tax from the winnings of live gambling casinos and this is usually a nice amount.

Authorities can also take tax from licensed online gambling, but the problem is that they can not really control the online gambling industry and most citizens will simply continue to play at illegal (not licensed operators) and this means no tax for the government.

The confirmation code likely would be send to your email address. This is likely a 2 factor authentification feature.

Your deposit is gone! If they pay 200% for 1 day, someone else must lose 100% in one day, obviously.

The Lawyers are winning.
And how much did it cost so far? Or is it on a "no cure no pay" basis?

it is based on a percentage same as the mtgox bankruptcy case

these lawyers are saying everything if you read between the lines

which is basically it is well known what occurred was illegal and in time all recovered funds will be distributed with a percentage paid for legal work in the recovery

Do claimants have to pay the court fees?

From what I understand, court fees/lawyer fees are taken from the 33.3% that lawyers get from the suit. the other 66.6% goes to claimants. You can also get more information on the case on www.cryptsyreceivership.com
Thank you for the link. Smiley As I can see there is an appointed trustee and this would explain why there is no court fee to pay in advance.

However, I did not see anything about a 33,3% deal. In Curacao, an appointed trustee can not make a percentage deal with claimants and can only claim his hourly rate and costs.

If you want to compare, Game Protect currently prepare the Full Flush Poker Litigation 70:30 case in Curacao. The lawyer is not appointed and therefore can make a percentage deal, but court fees has to be paid in advance, depending on the height of the claim.

US $ 100s of million are already embezzled or defrauded by online gaming and betting operators and you can read every day about new issues!

Do you think a legal expenses insurance would be helpful to enforce your rights and money?

I am not sure about it as i am small time gambler. It might be helpful for whales who spend a fortune gambling.
It is definetely helpful for whales, but also for small bettors. Everyone can hit a huge progressive or bad beat jackpot with small bets.

Jasonort at betcoin.ag i.e., he was no whale but crystal clear won a huge progressive jackpot worth 500 Bitcoins (some say 1000 Bitcoins). He could enforce his win, but is not willing to spend any money. With a legal expenses insurance, he could cost free initiate legal action and enforce the Bitcoins owed.

Are you willing to pay lawyer and court fees from your pocket, to enforce your money?

It all depends upon the amount of money lost.As you would not spend a huge amount to get pennies back  Grin
Absolute correct. How much % of the money owed would you be willing to spend to enforce your rights?

If a gaming or betting company owe you money, would you have interest to get it?

Most of the sites i play would reply if i start a support ticket and would rectify the issue as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of sites who answered support tickets, but with false and misleading promises. Hence, support answer requests does not necessarily mean rectify the issue. Sad
4160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 30, 2017, 02:57:09 AM
What is the definition of gambling? In general, the definition of gambling is when you bet with -EV and to win basically rely on luck.

Does trading basically rely on luck? I think if you are a bad trader, then your win basically rely on luck. Hence, I would say that if you are a bad trader, trading definetely can be considered as gambling.

When you trade, you are selling one product for another, or trading one product for another. For example, if you trade your car which is worth $10K for car which is worth $9K, i would say you are bed trader and it has to do anything with luck.
Also you could say you trade 1$ for 1 lottery ticket, or better, 1$ for 1 dice roll, right? We all know it doesn't work that way.

If you trade large amounts on the stock market, without knowing what is needed, then you are definetely a gambler who depend on luck. Grin
