4161  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 03, 2018, 11:57:21 AM
we live in a country with the rules for paying taxes as already stipulated. do not make it a burden, but our taxes will prosper together because there is a guarantee of education, health, etc
yes, you are right, I agree with you that we live in a country with the rules of paying taxes as stipulated in the regulations. the tax will also return to us, we will feel the result itself like the development and arrangement of each region.
Of course that is the reason people are bound to pay taxes and besides that, it has the power to reduce the gap between rich and poor. By this is mean to say the taxes paid by the rich are far more as compared to the poor according to the criteria set by the government. This results in the provision of public goods to both rich and poor equally in the same quantity.
4162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin and crypto currency ALWAYS getting hacked?? on: July 03, 2018, 10:59:52 AM
Is it really that hard to prevent hackers from hacking exchanges, wallets and God knows what other methods they use...
I mean how on earth is crypto supposed to flourish if it's so venerable to hackers?
Every month a huge hack happens and totally destroys the crypto image yet again.
At this rate, bitcoin will go to $1 as it gets hacked every day.
Is it possible to take simple precautions to protect against hackers?
For a so called "unhackable" wallet, private key ect, it seems to be a cake walk for any hacker.
Sorry for the rant, it's just irritating to see crypto slowly dying because of hacks.

Cryptos wont actually die but the fact being it so vulnerable can affect its rates and the stability of the exchange , hackable yes 100% it is hackable anything that is stored in our device well any device to be honest is vulnerable to the great intelligent hackers , the only thing that we can do is to maybe take greater care of our wallets cause the so called hack proof devices are also getting wrecked nowadays.
4163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: July 03, 2018, 10:31:33 AM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
Every currency has a different rate from each another or if compared to a standard currency, for example Rupee to Dollar has a different rate and also Pound to Dollar has a different rate , same being for cryptos but it has only 1 standard rate with dollars and then the further difference between dollar to the trader’s country’s currency gives it the local price. And yes people believe that bitcoin has a rate thus it has a rate else it can also be manipualated .
4164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: July 03, 2018, 08:29:11 AM
Surprising to see that I'm only person voting for Monero. Surely I'm not the only one who thinks Monero (and possibly Zcash) are ideally suited for gambling with?
This maybe because many sites don't have the multiple currency for betting so they will choose bitcoin mostly. But you are right XMR can be the best crypto for gambling ecause if it higher anonymity.I think FJ has XMR also right?
really i bet on bitcoin but i am not playing on casino gambling site or dice like others but i play more on bustadice website which is quite a lot of devotees.
I'm really about the same as you I bet on bitcoin but not casino gambling like dice or karnu but I bet on different sites like multiplication of numbers and other digging.

I do also usually use Bitcoin since it is the most popular crypto currency and since it has a lot of online gambling sites that has a faucet of it. I earn some amounts on their faucet and use that to gamble. I just gamble now for fun and I don't want to use any of my money or my savings since I want to use that on something else in the future.
I would also like to play gambling with bitcoins if I would be having them in my wallet but as the reality is totally different and I am not having them in my wallet. Also I would have saved some of them so that I can get a double profit in nearby future when I have sell them out when there price has reached sky high. That would be more beneficial for me.
4165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 03, 2018, 07:59:23 AM
spending a small fortune, and hoping to earn a lot of money. that's the gamblers' main mindset, they hope to bring in a little capital and get a lot of wins. but sometimes lose is also unavoidable.
Well, in a way, that can actually work as long as you are not going above your small fortune and you are still able to control yourself. I do not gamble much but I spend so little weekly playing lottery and that is as little as something I would not even blink an eye about if I lose.

I let this mentality kick in with the hope that one day even with this little, who knows, I may actually win something and even if I do not, it is the way things are and nothing actually changes.
Playing lottery sounds something safe to me because even you win or lose, you will not become an addict because you don’t have much surprising outcomes in it and you also don’t play by yourself so it has very little fun in it. Yeah! It depends upon your luck and if you will be lucky sometime, you would get bigger surprises and even if you lose, no need to worry about the losses.
I too afraid of gambling and I can say with surety that you too will be afraid because no one has that much extra money to lose in gambling. However, every person comes for gambling to become rich rather than to become poor. I didn’t have ever thought about my good time when I am under pressure because I don’t have that much time to do that.
I am also afraid of gambling because I can’t afford the losses of gambling as well as the consequences of gambling because I have seen very strong people in my life who were strong when they didn’t gambled but when they started gambling, they also weren’t able to bear the consequences of gambling and the rest of their lives was spent unhappily.
4166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, Dash and Ripple which to invest in? on: July 02, 2018, 09:58:14 AM
ETH, Dash and Ripple which to invest in,
Which has more potential and make a good profit?
If we are comparing between the three i.e. ETH, DASH and XRP, there is no doubt that I will go with XRP. Ripple has proven itself in the past few months. It’s been working hard and making partnerships with big firms, institutions, money transfers and banks all around the world. Ripple XRP converts one fiat currency to another fiat currency in just matter of seconds with low fees thus providing unmatchable liquidity and scalability to the banking world.
4167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: July 02, 2018, 07:58:25 AM
I don't feel that ethereum is getting popular day by day as I am a Bitcoin lover and I invest in Bitcoin. But one thing is good in ethereum that can attract people which is its smart contract.
The only unique thing that attracts many investors to ETH rather than BTC is its smart contracts. The aim of smart contracts is to provide security that is superior to traditional contract law and to reduce other transaction costs associated with contracting. Smart contracts on ETH attract new ICO’s and project. ETH therefore has faster transactions than BTC and the transaction fee and confirmation time is also less.
4168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Green Energy Mining on: July 02, 2018, 07:28:01 AM
Hi everyone! Been trying to research about green mining for an essay. I found two projects that got my attention, one is Moonlite which already successfully finished their ICO and the otherone is Togacoin, who are apparently doing pretty well now.

Suggestions? Please and thanks!
As per the difficuly increase and i thought that the mining will become more and more difficult and the consume of electricity will increase a lot in every period. That's a bad decision to invest in the green energy mining. It will not give you a lot of energy. For big scale miners and it will be totally useless. It's helping you to fill a small percentage of electricity.
I hope you have heard the phase that “little drops make the mighty ocean”. Though the electricity saved by green energy mining is less, it’s worth something atleast. And this is just the start; the technology will keep on upgrading in future. Here is what togacoin does in short “it separates the mining operations from the electricity costs, as well as diversifying investments to make the business safer and more independent from any market variable”.
4169  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: June 28, 2018, 12:05:28 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
This is will be just temporary and not permanent. Most of us, especially those of us that have been into this for a long time now already knows that this is a regular thing that happens almost all the time. And when it happens, after sometime, before the end of the year, the price will recover. So the best thing is just to HODL as long as you can and wait for the price to recover. But don’t forget to always cut your loss, no matter how things has been in the past, don’t use that to judge the present. Always calculate your steps.
I also think that this fall in the price is for the time being and in the near future it will grow again but the question is why it is falling more and more? I think that the reason for the dip in the price is uncertainty of the future. Most people think that bitcoin is a bubble and will burst in the air and all the investors will lose their money, but I think that it is just nonsense and there is nothing to worry about bitcoin future.
4170  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: June 28, 2018, 11:36:33 AM
I think it is not unfamiliar to the countries that go for the most .sl gold and some countries have also started advertising gold and silver. And the government agrees to it and supports it. Cool
After barter system people started using gold and silver and from that time gold is popular around the world. This is not the most precious metal in the world but I don’t think that there would be a home that would not have gold. Gold can solve your financial problems in hard times while no other currency can take place of gold, even bitcoin also not capable of that.
4171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: June 28, 2018, 11:08:29 AM
Provably fair indeed. I trust that technology so that, I can gamble without any tension. What's the point if we can't verify our bets? That is why I always look for Provably Fair Casinos. I personally like playing on cryptocasinos which are fast, anonymous and secure. Most of them offer instant withdrawals and variety of coins are very helpful if you are low on balance.
I afraid of the scam in online gambling. Many people say that when you win site will not pay to you as many job providers betray innocent people. They tell you to do some work and earn money and when you claim money they will never response your claim. The same are many online casinos. That’s why I don’t believe in online casino and play in regular casino.
No I don’t play online casino because I don’t believe in it. Most of them are fraud and do not pay to the winners of game. You cannot claim your money in any place. It is better to gamble only in regular casino face to face. No scam, no betray and no frauds. If you win you will get your money on the spot, if you lose you will give your money. You will be mentally relaxed.
4172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 28, 2018, 10:03:39 AM
What a great day for Croatian tennis, we just got two ATP 500 winners.
Cilic won in London against Djokovic in 3 sets while our young hope Coric won in Halle against the best grass player Federer.

Not really a good year for Djokovic but he has started on a good track and maybe its not his day to win again in London. But Djokovic really fought hard that I thought he will gonna win but damn, Cilic fought back from match point and even came bak from 1-4 deficit in the tie break. Such disappointing lost for Djokovic.

What a injection to his self confident would that be. And he was pretty close. Only 3 points more he needed to finish match in 2nd set tie break. Kinda unlucky...
He said that he would return to this tournament in years to come.

Yes, This is a moral booster win for Cilic, at the brink of defeat, but he snatches it under from Djokovic and raised the trophy. I guess Djokovic is really unlucky this year but just like I said, he is slowly picking up the pieces and maybe a few more tournaments and a win will bring back his confidence again to compete for the top spot.
Yeah, you are right about next games which will clear the top players and let’s see who will win the upcoming Wimbledon tournament. Wimbledon tournament is the tournament of Roger federer because he has been dominant here since his start and clinched most wins here. Other players will also try their best to compete for the trophy but I think it is Rogers again.
4173  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: June 27, 2018, 12:42:29 PM
Bitcoin has a hard time growing as of the moment. So i think bitcoin will have a harder time reaching $20000. It will take a long time before it will reach that high again.
It might happen till the end of the year. Reaching $20000 is not an easy task for Bitcoin but it has been some time since the good crypto experts are predicting about the expected price Bitcoin might cross and they point out $20k. Some more optimistic experts also talk about it reaching more than $30000 but that looks a bit more hypothetical and I believe the former is likely to happen.
4174  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Bitcoin will end 2018 ? on: June 27, 2018, 12:09:14 PM
No one really know the outcome of its value because it is unpredictable but let's just be positive in it. Many were hoping to increased its value in the last quarter like what happen from previous year and this is why their speculations will still be the same.
Right because the market is unpredictable. If we talk about the boom of 2017, no one actually knew about the jumps in the first week of December but that happened. Same is the case here and this will be completely before time if we assign a value for the final day of December. But we have some good speculations about the ending months that the market will bring huge cash.
4175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: June 27, 2018, 11:40:52 AM
I just read one article that's about math can help you win at roulette game then i want ask with you all, did you believe math can affect to gambling games? i'm not expert in math so i don't know

this is the article that i readed.
http://theconversation.com/can-maths-help-you-win-at-roulette-69440

I do believe that mathematics help affect gambling games. One of the reason is the computations of betting and the winnings. If math does not exist in gambling then gamblers will find it hard to compute their moves and their winnings.
I want to know that why you believe that having some knowledge of mathematics help a person in gambling games. However I can prove you wrong because if math was of some importance in gambling then the people having a sound knowledge of math would have won every single game they play but here in reality the case is totally different as they still are losing.

Mathematics can help you analyze your game and even determine amounts that are right for you to gamble per every game and what you could expect to win but mathematics will not contribute to your winning in any way because most gambling games out there aren't based on logic and mathematics is limited where there is no logic.
No man I don’t think the same in this regard because analyzing the game depends on your skills that you get from your past gambling but not from the Math that you have learned in your school or intermediate. For me, math can only help you by doing a favor to you when you sit free for some time and want to calculate your wins and losses in gambling.
4176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Mental Responses That Will Make You Lose Money on: June 27, 2018, 11:09:37 AM
The raising stakes one is definitely one a lot of people fall victim to. I have even been a victim myself numerous times over the year, e.g. I'll just keep doubling up until eventually I win.... Until I get an unlucky streak and lose a lot of money. People need to understand statistics, they assume that they are the only score that matters, when in reality they are part of a cohort of people which constitutes the average. Just because extraordinary events seem unlikely to a single person, across a cohort it is quite possible, and the more times you double up, the more chance you're going to get screwed.
One should gamble if he know how to control himself and his emotions. There are many mental and psychological problems that can arise from bitcoin if a person gamble more than need. Yes, gambling has some advantages but in majority cases it become a curse for its players because they fail in controlling themselves and completely destroy themselves.
4177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC: where is the market going on: June 26, 2018, 10:57:21 AM
So dip,but be positive Smiley market will rise again, and all crypto investors will celebrate soon😘be patient it's normal fluctuation just hold and HODL to the maxxxx😂😂😂
Right but we have been observing the fall for some time now and it sometimes makes one pessimistic about the future of one’s invested money. But again if you recall the last year market in June, we are still good and the price is not falling by big figures by which I mean to say we should still stay hopeful and focus a bit on the market. I have been following some good experts and they all are having positive vibes about the future.
4178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling in the crypto market on: June 26, 2018, 10:16:37 AM
I think the crypto market now seems to be more suitable for gambling than for normal life, as it seems to solve a lot of things like fast, convenient, anonymous and easy to dodge. the law.
Are you saying yes and no? Grin Grin
it really seems like the market price here can be at stake how much according to the wishes of big investors who do have a very big investment on crypto so they can manipulate the price as they want because the price depends on the volality.
that's true we do not know when prices are going down and we do not know when prices go up all in all luck maybe because this crypto trade is almost synonymous with gambling.
There are some facilities in crypto gambling. You can receive and pay the bet money easily without any tension. You will have to go nowhere while play in online casino. No robing, no snatching, no stealing, you will be mentally relaxed while playing in online crypto gambling. But I think there is also disadvantage of crypto gambling, you can lose your investment.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 26, 2018, 09:39:09 AM

Seeing Germany today's performance, i can see them in the final four.

Are you for real? They were having trouble against Sweden and their last goal was really a lucky goal. Im not sure wether it was the Sweden team's defense that was good or Germany that had hard time scoring. Overall Germany is still a great team however if they want to stay on this world cup then they need to reevaluate their strategy
Whatever it may be but it was the day of Germany and won the match by 2-1 which is a good play from both sides but Germany added another winning goal in the last three extra minutes. It Germany was lucky to win this match because in the and up to the second half Sweden was dominated over Germany but it was the luck of Germany and Germany has to take care for the next game.
4180  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: June 25, 2018, 09:59:07 AM
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out.  It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value.  Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.
I think bitcoin will go away in 4-5 years and others, much more faster ans scaleable coins will take him place.Saddenly btc is standing on one place and no one updating it into blockchain 3.0
It would get updated soon and the replacement of bitcoin by another immature coin is not possible at all. People are really crazy about bitcoin and they are not ready to give its place to any other coin. Bitcoin has provided holders and investors with massive profits in last years. I don’t see any such chances of change of crypto throne in the near years. Bitcoin is going to keep the crown as always.
