I think Bter just needs more time to do what they have promised. I still trust them. They said they will phase the withdrawal of deposits in there exchange. So far we can withdraw USD, CNY, and NXT assets. They have delivered what they have promised. Can you imagine what a miserable theft they just experienced at their point of view! Why not spare them some more time to fix the potential issues? Probably you have a chunk of deposit there and just throw away what you are thinking! Never mind! Time will tell everything!
They promissed to open withdraw of NXT (around 700 btc worth coins or so) not NXT assets 2 weeks ago. I left a lot on bter and discuss at least make me feel a little better than keep thinking about they stole half year of trading profit  Anyway our posts here doasn't not change anything. PS. There are always chances for sure that owner of Bter is just an idiots, but with experience with a lot of scam/hypes/ponzy closing office is the end...That's sure , they do not know how to set up a properly cold wallet*. The possibility of an inside job is very high but I do not like to "think" that this option is the truth. * Cold storage in the context of Bitcoin refers to keeping a reserve of Bitcoins offline. |

I can't still request the withdrawal for all my altcoins, this is very insane. If I will recover all my lost ( a part the bitcoin) I will not use bter anymore (this is sure).
This is not only insane this is a dirty trick by Bter soon we hear from them for the last time... We should only wait the partial refund of all the altcoins, but maybe if someone of you live near the "old bter's office" can check it and if he want also ask the offices near it (maybe they have some information). Bter wanted, dead or alive! As they seem to be on the run, are you going to offer a reward for their heads or intend to track them down yourself? Why should I give a reward ? I don't live near their office, I'm based in Europe but maybe someone is interested to know more about tho situation (and if he lives near their office he can check). |

I love all these cautious/pessimistic calls for $1000 coins only after the halving happens.  Pricing will be way more than that by then. Too much good news and the ease of acquisition for institutional investors going on between now and when COIN/Gemini comes out for many multipliers of higher pricing not to happen by then and then some. It is only an opinion. Maybe the price will not raise after the next block reward halving, but if is rational | less bitcoin , same demand = rise of the bitcoin price | or maybe my supposition is wrong? |

I suggest you keep sending theymos an email every 5-10 days or so. I remember my account got hacked before and they haven't replied for a month! Actually they didn't reply at all, so I just gave up.
