4161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Ethereum Transaction on: July 05, 2020, 07:55:58 AM
There is no reason other than wallet being compromised.
Some friends experienced same thing in 2018 but in their case it was their tokens. Some sort of script was programmed in their wallet whereby any incoming transaction gets sent out automatically to a wallet address.
I guess in that guy's case, the script was not written well, making the fee high instead of the amount.
My advice is for the guy not to use the wallet or even the PC because it might have some malware in it.
The issue here is not of being hacked the wallet but the strange transaction where the fee was 0.80 ETH for a tx of 0.08 ETH. I think that's what OP is looking answer for. Otherwise, it is easily detectable that wallet was compromised.
Someone on the earlier 1m + fee issue on ETH has pointed out that sparkpool has some kind of relation with that tx other than mining it only. May be this one too.
4162  Economy / Reputation / Merit begging or complain on: July 05, 2020, 04:30:59 AM
I have responded this user in a thread of bitcoin discussion and instantly after the response, I received the following PM from him. He is looking for merit, but indirectly.
Bitcoin is one of the best platforms in the world. I've been working there for a long time, but I didn't get a merit.😥
Would you say this begging for merits? However, I have checked his post to merit but got nothing.
4163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about Bitcoin Diamond (BCD). on: July 05, 2020, 03:57:07 AM
I have no idea what BCD developed over Bitcoin. Since you are trying to highlight the halving event which is coming soon, I would like to add some words before you decide anything.
What are the popular fork of BTC? BCH no doubt. We can bring Litecoin too in this table. Now check if they had some significant change on the halving event. I do not think they had. I did not track although. You can check the pre and post halving price of LTC and BCH. You may get an idea.
Yoshie, I recommend you to stay away from altcoin as much as possible unless you are a pro. I do not know which stage you are, have not seen you in altcoin boards too much. Remember, altcoin can make your portfolio poor very faster.
4164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Ethereum Transaction on: July 04, 2020, 11:23:24 AM
Sorry, what I mean is the wallet of the person is compromised, not the metamask itself.
Sorry my bad. I was on phone and felt sleeping. That's why may be I have misunderstood you.
Anyway, I just found a thread where there was a same hacking case- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5136644.msg50791077#msg50791077, you may get some idea.
4165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Ethereum Transaction on: July 04, 2020, 09:15:02 AM
Metamask is not compromised, it's the wallet of the user which got compromised and a kind of bot/script was made to automation of transaction once the address receive any ETH.
Interesting part is why the hacker would use such high fee? I have no idea about the fee part.
4166  Other / Meta / Re: Video tutorial needed for newbies on: July 04, 2020, 03:41:27 AM
it is pretty old style forum and more easy to use than anything.
It is old style forum to people who are in internet for years but think about the people who are newbies with internet even. I remember I was very confused to understand smf when I first used smf. It is long ago, my early stage of Internet.
4167  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kingcasino from bounty detective turned scam on: July 04, 2020, 03:34:51 AM
Bounty Managers have nothing to do most of the times although taking some major steps, they could prevent scam project to launch. Many good project may turn into scam anytime because of the situation. Although it is easy to detect scam project, a well documented scam is not easy to detect. So, I would not say it is fault of managers.

If you be active here, you will learn all these automatically. However, steamtyme has created some videos for newbies. I have not checked them although but I am sure they will be helpful for newbies. Check- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200715.0

I do not see any reason to change the text color. It is one of the worst way of getting attention of readers. I had problem with reading such color.
4169  Economy / Reputation / Re: Betking.io New Project ??? on: July 04, 2020, 02:28:35 AM

4170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 03, 2020, 02:59:34 AM
But do they have enough infrastructure and facilities to conduct this tournament? How many stadiums do they have, outside Colombo?
Srilanka have almost 11 international cricket ground although most of the times. Most of them are in Colombo, however they have some other popular outside colombo too like Hambantota, Pallekele, Dambula. I think they have more than enough ground.
4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For airdroppers who can hardly relate on: July 03, 2020, 02:32:34 AM
That was really a good read and yeah I have to agree that that's what happens almost with all the airdrops. Most of them are fake, some of them fail to reach softcap etc. I do not participate in airdrop now, have an experience with a project who did the same with its participants. I was the telegram moderator although.
4172  Other / Meta / Re: Why is there a permanent ban? on: July 02, 2020, 08:52:27 AM
Which breach of rules results in a permanent ban? Also, doesn't it make sense for people to have a chance to correct their errors?
A quick search on meta would let you know that plagiarism is the reason of most of the perma bans in this forum. If you are friend of the account, read all the forum rules before starting using the forum.
4173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: July 02, 2020, 08:21:01 AM
It does not sound like a development of bitcoin. It seems like a service which they provide for bitcoin transactions to be more safe through encrypting and decrypring or something like that. It is never an undor button for bitcoin transaction. If you use bitcoin on a decentralized wallet, this will never happen.

I think theymos never send any newsletter or email to user, I have not seen any. As far as I know after a hack in bitcointalk, theymos sent email to everyone to change their password. This belongs to this feature.
4175  Economy / Reputation / Re: WHERE IS TMAN? for 1 month of inactivity 🤔🤔 on: July 02, 2020, 02:22:43 AM
My admitedly alt account was permabanned and negatively tagged because of his lil group reporting for no other reason than being an alt.
I do not think your alt was just permabanned because of being alt account only. You must have broken forum rules. Anyway, if your alt is banned, how your andulolika account is surviving?
4176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 30, 2020, 10:00:23 AM
Follow up news
This is really stupid. I do not think the match was sold or anything. India was the best team at that time and they played like a champ. All this shit talking has no means. I see no reason to discuss this issue by Srilankan board even.
Anyway, it would be fun to see India's reaction. Who was the chairman if ICC back then, by the way?
4177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here on: June 30, 2020, 09:56:08 AM
Welcome here.
Sounds great that you believe in crypto. Please make sure you read all the rules of the forum on different boards. Each boards has their own rules. There are a lot of beginers guideline and you can find them sticky most of the times.
4178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin.org , in danger of being compromised?? on: June 30, 2020, 09:36:37 AM
I don't think Binn has any right to claim partial ownership here since he was a kind of contributor like what pooya said. There are a lot of contributors in the development of Bitcoin itself, would they be able to claim ownership of bitcoin creator?
However, so far Cobra seems to be enough trusted and I think he will hand over the website to someone trusted, not whom who wants to be the honorable controller.
4179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: June 30, 2020, 08:57:17 AM
Anyone believing a gold backed coin is a fool in my opinion because project never shows proof of back. Almost all the gold backed coins are scam and in reality they have no gold backed. There's a gold stable coin which may be a good one but still I can not see any valid proof form them to be a real gold backed coin.
4180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to retrieve my invested BTC from Plustoken? on: June 30, 2020, 03:36:42 AM
If Plustoken support didn't answer your messages and claims, that sounds hopeless to takes back your money even though you have all the credentials. To know that they have been shut down (unless it was only maintenance break) you can't count of them to give back what they've scam to all depositors. This is will happen to scam exchanges ( exit scam) which I worried about that is why I keep ignoring these exchanges and never give them a chance to take what I have.
Plustoken is a proven scam and one of major scams on cryptocurrency history. It's none of support issue or maintainence issue. Check the previous post or google with plustoken scam to check more.
