There are 60 oiltankers waiting at ports of Rotterdam and IJmuiden to dump there oil but the storage capacity is at there max. This didn't happend since 2009...
They went for anker and waiting.
I heard Shell rented tanks to store its oil for future sale. So the price of oil will not rise soon, still over supply. There is no endless storage capacity and it cost maintainance. They cant play that game long and my guess capacity is soon at maximum. Price will probaly only go up mid term if sauds are decreasing output. |

There have been a lot of botted sig campaigners on this forum recently. Gleb is usually right about these kinds of things. Perhaps YoBit's manager should be doing something about these bots?
it's not bots. it's just some stupid user(s?) posting agreeing posts and saying more or less the same thing as the post they quoted waay to many times. reported one today. didn't know there was more. and hilariousandco is the manager. It doesnt matter if some newbie accounts get banned. yobit has systemic problems like newbie accounts and earning for every post. Yobit is really like the hydra. they're not newbies... yobit doesn't even accept newbies. maybe soon they'll stop accepting Jr. members too.14 activity is such a hurdle. but you might be right that they only take juniors and upwards. |

Self-moderated topics can be good against ad-sig spammers and trolls, but they are also good to make it look like that only one opinion is winning.
Deal with it, it is also coherent with the moderation policy here on Bitcointalk and r/bitcoin ...
If someone is deleting (using violence) your opinions in a debate, than you already know the truth.
You get a pm with your post deletion. If you have a point and it gets deleted it shows you got the perfect proof. You can then just open a thread and make the blatant cencorship public (like this one, but i didnt see any deleted post so far). |

Im all for hate speech but the problem why it doesnt work and is illegal in most countries is quite easy: The average iq of a human being is 90-95. By definition it means half of mankind has a iq less of that - how long do you think it will just stay at words?  ( hate speech for me free speech for you ) It seems your IQ isn't so high then  It doesn't mean that half humans have less than that. For example if 33% of pop is at 70 and 67% is at 100, result will be average 90. Even though it's not half half ^^ |

Your statement isn't completely stupid but you're wrong, a study can't be judged only by who paid for it and who made it!
Sample surveys and opinion polls can be manipulated in several ways. For example, you can ask the same question in two different tones. 1. "Do you want to punish 16-year olds with jail time similar to the case with adult offenders, if they commit serious offenses? Or should they be sent to special juvenile institutions instead?" and 2. "Do you think that rapists deserve jail-time, even if they are slightly under the age of 18?" I am quite sure that the percentage of people agreeing with #2 will be more than #1. That just means your methodology sucks and that you have no clues about real scientific studies. Well he's just explaining how a study can be flawed... He's not saying that all studies are useless and stupid because numbers can be manipulated, he's just saying that each study is influenced by the way it was planned and then by the people behind it paying the scientists conducting the study. Rather true IMHO I understood that. And for me it shows either bad methodology and/or the abstinence of objectivity. Both is a the A and O for a real and good scientific study: Not biased and be able to reproduced. |

And nuclear, even fusion (when that shows up) isn't pollution free. Thousands of tons of radioactive materials are being stored because we have no way to dispose of it. Any fluids or materials that come in contact with the core become irradiated by neutron activation and we have no way of treating it other than putting it someplace out of the way for a very long time until it becomes less radioactive.
It is really minimal for fusion in relation to fission. In around 100 years there could already be no traces of radioactivity left depending on materials used for the reactor. And we are just at the start of creating an efficient fusionreactor. |

Hahah funny the story is already cleared since one month. The girl lisa/elena was hiding at a friends home because she had trouble at school ( a talk from teacher with parents) - this was proofed through gps data of her mobile phone and the testimony of the friend and his mother where she was. At no time there was something sexual happening. It seems though that girl had consenting sexual intercourse with 2 different men several months before(!!!) the alleged kidnapping. The girl was 13 at that time and that would constitute of pedophilia in germany. ( legal age is 14 if your partner is older the 16 but younger then 18 i think, a bit complicated) So the german police even backtracked to stuff that happened way way before the alleged crime. Note here: The girl was never talking about the her two 20 year old boyfriends who she had a sexual relationship with (that was several montha ago when she was still 13). The kidnapping was just a invention of a scared girl because of school problems - the gps data and testimonies of the people proofs where she hid. Combustion engine is actually 19th century technology. It's weird why an engine which is only 30% energy efficient is still being used. It's ancient. Electric cars are the future. Say bye to big oil in next decades. Lithium is the key.
Yes you are may be right. but what is price for electric car- purchasing price? Producing price per car ? Maintenance, battery ? Combustion engine may be an "ancient" technology, but it is so pervasive because for the amount of energy you get for the cost, combustion engines are cheap and easy. I also believe electric cars are the future. I currently own a hybrid car. Comparatively, a hybrid car costs a few thousand dollars more than the exact same non-hybrid version, about $2-3k. I've more than made up that cost in the years of driving it, so it's been a sound investment. As for electric-only, there are plenty of viable models that are not overly expensive. The Nissan Leaf starts at $29k and the Chevy Volt starts at $33k. Tesla is working on a version now as well that will start in the mid-$30k range. The biggest limitation for electric-only vehicles for me is the range. I think the Leaf is around 100 miles, and the Volt offers 50 electric-only miles, though it does run on gas as well. Well, the killer is not only the range. It's also the recharge time. The average gas vehicle goes about 300 miles before needing to stop for 2 minutes to fill up. Even if you got a car that can do that 300 mile range, it will still take you hours (if quick charging) or most of a day (if not interested in killing battery) to recharge. Hybrids make a lot more sense, especially for heavier use in urban centers. Idling in a regular car is basically burning gas to power your radio. no, you would exchange your discharged battery for a recharged one at the "gas" station. but thats all future, we need better energy sources and then we can think about switching to the infrastructure needed. Well, yes, that would be ideal, but it's not the case right now or in the near future. Also, car manufacturers would need to agree to a battery standard to allow the same battery to fit in any vehicle. Otherwise, it's gonna be fun driving around on a dying battery pack finding someone who's got your pack in stock. And I think you mean energy storage rather than energy source. And yes that does require lots of developing. Some would say hydrogen is the answer, and it might be, assuming they figure out a way to store it without the threat of blowing up. no i really mean energy source, not storage. if we would have 100% clean energy (i.e. renewables, fusion) there would be not much of a problem to switching to electric cars. but we are on world average around 20% maybe? * im off, its 11% EIA: http://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.cfm?id=527&t=1I have to disagree with you on that one. It's not the source of the energy that's impeding the electric car. It's the ability to carry and load that energy that's the issue. It's not like we have a global energy crisis or anything. To the end user, the power is coming out of the outlet, regardless of whether it was generated by renewables or not. It is not. Range of batteries are already going 300 miles. You dont need to recharge like i explained. The problem of batteries right now is monetary and pollution cost. But if we would have clean energy sources then the battery cost would be a good trade off. Right now our energy comes mainly from gas and oil. |
