Roma - Atalanta was one of the most interesting games of the week.

Roma had a huge dominance in this game but still couldn't score a single goal. It was like a miracle that Atalanta scored a goal after only few chances they found and even won the game with this goal. Jose Mourinho's getting a red card in the second half made things more difficult for Roma from tactical aspect. There is a really big decrease in Roma's form in the recent times. They lost two of their last three league games. This was a little unexpected for me after seeing Roma's really good start to the season. It's still early in the season of course and I hope they can pull themselves together quickly.

We have a really interesting standings now after a long time in the Bundesliga. Union Berlin are the leader and they are the only team without a loss. Dortmund are right behind them by a two-point gap. Bayern Munich are at the 5th position now. Their streak without a win has gone up to four games and they are becoming less trustworthy to bet on by every week. I still don't get how they didn't bring a striker after selling Lewandowski. What was the thing that made them think like the current squad was enough. They are in need of a striker who has similar features to Lewandowski. This seems like their only way out now.

I was also expecting Atletico Madrid to get one point in the worst case. But they lost by 2-1 despite having a good performance actually. Atletico Madrid had more impressive statistics than Real Madrid in this game. But Real Madrid finished them by 2 goals in the first half already. Hermoso's late goal was a silver lining but they couldn't make the comeback. Hermoso got a red card in the stoppage time too which was a big mental hit to the team.

Real Madrid are still unstoppable even after a big game in the league. It's like the only team that can do this seem Barcelona for now while even Atletico Madrid are like this.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham are continuing on their great run in the league. I wouldn't expect this trio at top before the season but here we are. Arsenal and Tottenham have improved their effort even more compared to the previous season. It's doubtful how much these teams would be consistent against Manchester City but for now it's lovely to follow this rivalry closely. Tottenham have got a huge boost after that 6-2 win over Leicester. We don't see them scoring this many goals in a game normally. But this week was extraordinary for them.

I wish I didn't bet on Milan.    Even though I knew that they weren't winning against Napoli home in the league for so many years I still wanted to believe that Milan would break a leg finally. But they lost by 2-1 this time. Actually Milan's general performance was much bigger than Napoli's but it wasn't still enough for even one point. This was Milan's first loss of the season at the same time. After defeating Inter 3-2 I thought that Milan would have another good victory in San Siro. They need to get as many points as possible in this kind of big games otherwise their job will be harder to retain their title.

Actually this was a deserved game for Villarreal as they were much better than Sevilla. Maybe Sevilla had more ball possession but Villarreal found many more big chances than Sevilla to score. Sevilla found the goal in their only shot on target. They were really on their lucky day. I was also expecting Villarreal to win but wasn't brave enough to bet on them as it was still a tough game for them. I think that this doesn't change much thing for Villarreal. They are still a powerful team in this season and one of the biggest candidates of top 4.

I don't know why but Brentford had one of their poorest games today. Arsenal kept their dominance in both halves and defeated them 3-0. I was like we would see both teams scoring and it would be a difficult game for Arsenal. I bet that many people have lost their bets on both teams to score. I'm happy for Arsenal side of course because they needed this win. They lost their first big game against Manchester United before this one. It looks like Arteta has built a really durable team that don't get affected by one loss easily. As long as they keep this integrity they can fight for the title until the end.

Bayern Munich's current condition in the Bundesliga is really inexplainable. While I was waiting for them to put an end to their winless streak they added another loss of points to that. After Augsburg got ahead Bayern Munich started to be even more effective and dominant. But they still couldn't score even one goal. I don't what is happening with the productivity of this team. They were much more different against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Does this mean to you that they are caring about the Champions League the most and having focusing problems about the Bundesliga games? Or maybe there is something more serious behind this which they had better solve it as quick as possible.

I was expecting Juventus to finally get a win to take a deep breath. But they got another loss against Monza this time. Di Maria's getting a red card made things worse for them and Monza took advantage of it very nicely. Allegri is still not sacked but I believe it will happen very soon. The board might be assessing his future at the team now. They won't play any game until October 2 so there is enough time for them to make a decision upon Allegri's future and to find a new manager for his place also. I think Tuchel is the biggest candidate now.

There is less than a day left for the biggest games of the week.

Marseille are hosting Rennes and they are the favourite to win obviously. They have been on a great streak in the league so far. There is a winning streak like five games. However Rennes will be a tough opponent and they can also score in this game. I think this might be the game Marseille are losing points finally. We might have a score like 1-1 or 2-2 at the end.

Lyon - PSG are the most impressive game of the day. PSG might have their most difficult game so far. Lyon are not a team to be underestimated for them. Whenever they do this Lyon manage to get points against them. PSG might not be able to win this game. This is another game in which we might see a draw. But I don't expect a draw like 0-0. It's like there is no way we are seeing no goal in this game. A 1-1 draw in this game wouldn't also be very surprising.

Juventus still have many missing players and Milik also has been added to the list for the Monza game. Because he is suspended due to red card.

This is an important game for especially Allegri. Because his seat is under danger from now on if the team don't start a good form as soon as possible. They didn't get any win in their last four games which were in the league and Champions League. Monza are one of the easiest opponents for them normally but it is really hard to trust Juventus fully for making a bet on them. However I have a feeling like this is the game Juventus are finishing their bad form finally by a win. Maybe it might be a competitive game but Juventus shouldn't miss out this chance to improve their morale.

It was a wonderful comeback by Son after starting the season really poorly. It was like a solid apology to the team as he made a hat-trick. His first and second goals both were amazing. He scored similar goals with his left and right foots. He is such a special player I mean. As of now he should play more confidently to continue making an important contribution. If he keeps up having a decent performance then Tottenham would be more likely to win their games.

Leicester are in such a miserable condition now and this season is going to be very tough for them. They are very likely to fight for staying in the league even on the final weeks.

Dortmund would do their best to keep Bellingham in the team. After losing Haaland they can't afford losing another huge talent as well. At least they would like to keep him until finding a replacement for him. But it wouldn't be an easy task to do as Bellingham is a very talented player. I wonder what he thinks about his future now. Dortmund are having a good run in the Bundesliga now actually. If they somehow manage to become the champions they might have a bigger chance to convince Bellingham to stay.

Manchester City showed there was nothing wrong after having some difficulty against Dortmund in the Champions League. Haaland continues from where leaves like in all of his games. I wonder how Arsenal or another big team will deal with this Manchester City in the Premier League this season. Because Manchester City are a more complete team now and I expect them to play even better in the biggest games of the league. As long as we see a title competition until the end like in the previous season there is no problem for me. 

Barcelona would have still won easily even if Elche didn't get that red card. They aren't one of the teams that can stop Barcelona in Camp Nou these days. I know that Barcelona drew with Vallecano here before but it was the beginning of the season. As of now I don't see many teams that can steal even one point from them. It might happen only due to a tight fixture maybe. Because there is a really tight one waiting for all teams due to World Cup in November in the end.

I wonder if we would see a golden boot rivalry between Lewandowski and Haaland this season. Haaland is better for now but there is a long season ahead.  

If Allegri is sacked then most probably we would see Tuchel to fill his place. However I would still doubt whether this change would affect them very positively. I don't know the real reason behind their poor performance now. They had really good times with Allegri in the past as well. Maybe it's not because of Allegri now. But he needs to improve the morale of his players as fast as possible. They are very inconsistent in not only the Champions League but also Serie A.

This is very familiar with Chelsea's condition. We will see if Graham Potter will be the solution for them.

No I meant that Chelsea might be thinking of releasing Kante and bring Frenkie de Jong into his place. I haven't heard of any interest in Kante by Manchester United.

Manchester United are interested in Youri Tielemans according to news. He has only one year left on his contract and it is really difficult for Leicester to extend with him while they are one of the biggest candidates to relegate from the Premier League now. Arsenal had some interest in him last summer as well but I think this time Manchester United might be alone in this race. I assume he would lean towards joining Manchester United.

Dortmund are likely to have one of their most comfortable games tomorrow against Schalke. It looks like Schalke are still not ready for the Bundesliga despite having a really good season in the 2nd Bundesliga. I was expecting them to be more determined than this. There are still big issues in their defense and they are an easy target for Dortmund normally. However Dortmund haven't been very productive in the league recently. They have scored only 8 goals in 6 games. But this can still be their exploding game too.

Dortmund -1.5 handicap @2.02 seems very nice to give it a chance. But if one wants to add a safer bet to parlay then Dortmund win @1.38 is also nice for multis.

I was pretty sharp with my predictions for today's games but didn't place a bet on any unfortunately.

Aston Villa won as I expected from them. It wasn't easy at all but all they needed was three points no matter what the final score was going to be. This would be a help for taking a deep breath for the team and Gerrard. They have made really good signings so far but it is still not understandable how they can start this much bad. I thought of a draw for the Fulham game or maybe even a Fulham win depending on their effort. They really managed to beat Nottingham 3-2 by taking advantage of defensive weaknesses of Nottingham. It was interesting that Mitrovic didn't score any in a game like this.

Udinese - Inter can be considered as a tough game for both sides as well.

Udinese are one of the striking teams of this season taking their effort so far into account. Their performance against Roma was incredible as they destroyed Roma by 4-0. This might be a little scary for Inter as well but I don't expect such absurd score this time. Inter don't have a consistent form these days. It was like they have had a pattern like winning and losing consecutively for four weeks in the league. I didn't like their effort against Torino also despite winning. They were solid against Plzen and maybe this would help them a little here. Rather than betting on Inter, both teams to score might be more reliable @1.63.
