4161  Economy / Speculation / Re: another day, another dip, another buy the dip on: September 11, 2017, 01:28:56 AM
The dips have not been so low to encourage me to buy yet... Have a buy order but it is lower than the actual price. Should go to the 4000$ or so to trigger it.

I think you should buy it now because after the big whales are playing we can't be sure if we still can afford to buy.
This is all part of the show of China so better stood up brother. China wants to buy dump btc and make a centralized exchange that they can be control. China is always ahead of us.
4162  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 11, 2017, 12:44:26 AM
I think that on the economy, bitcoin has no influence and can not improve it.Just now bitcoin become more popular and has many users. Maybe in the future. But it is too early to talk about it.

Yeah I think so. Bitcoin is decentralized so the government is hands off to do this so as well as ou economy. As we can see now btc is always fluctuating but our economy is not affected even a little. Maybe btc will affect our economy once our government takes full control of this but this will never happen. However, bitcoin can help improve our economy but not directly though.
4163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold, Hold, and Hold? on: September 08, 2017, 08:35:37 AM

It is not suitable to talk about the prices and your investment here, I think this post will be moved to Speculation (Altcoins) section, BTW, it is not wise to hold every coin, just hold some coins that you think it is promising.

Yeah and that's a sure thing. There are coins that are only good for short term holding and some are for long term.
If you'll not determine which is which you'll end up losing profit so better be wise.
4164  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Video games on: September 08, 2017, 08:11:08 AM
You play games because you want to enjoy and in fact insted of earning something from that game it might just cost you more than you would think. Unless you are the developer of the game you surely is going to earn alot

Of course it's true. And it might takes a lot of time and effort doing this. Yeara of experience and a bucket full of knowledge is the ingredients to succeed here. Well OP if this is what you're dream then pursue it, of course there are rough roads in your path but I know you'll make it through. Grin
Oh by the way try to search skin coin and shadow token, their platform are related to gaming and might help you.
4165  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 07:10:24 AM
People should invest in bitcoin because of:
1. Increasing price - fact that over time the value is increasing no matter what we do becauae of its maximum supply
2. decentralized - nobody nor government can manipulate bitcoin
3. pseudonymous - the anonymity of the users of how much bitcoin they have as well as the transaction

Personally these are the reason why I invest and like bitcoin.
And for sure these are also the reason why many people attracted and go crazy about this.
4166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: September 08, 2017, 06:21:50 AM
There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

well for me im only using an android app bitcoin wallet , to send and recieve any bitcoins.  i dont store bitcoins for a verry long time and im spending it whenever i recieve a single amount coins so i think its ok to only use this kind of wallet if you dont have a big business regarding on your bitcoins, altough there are stil people would recomend me to use more secured wallets like hardware wallets or cold wallets.

Why you didn't hold your coins brother? Yeah if you're really in need of money then it's fine to cash out but when it's not really necessary just hold it or you gonna regret it.
Anyway, I'm using lightweight wallet both desktop and mobile. Using these two are more convenient and less hassle for me. These are electrum, coinomi, mew and waves.
4167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: September 08, 2017, 05:10:22 AM
Gamblers with Debt is not new. Many of Gamblers (Addict Gamblers) had debts. I personally experienced that long time ago when I'm addicted to a dice game. I borrow some BTC for my friend in exchange for my salary for a month. I lose multiple times and wasted my 2 months salary just on playing Dice. I remember PD was the Dice site where I lose money.  Cheesy
As I've said, Gamblers with Debts is normal.   Cool

Yeah maybe gamblers with debts is normal because we always see and we known some of them that are really addicted in gambling. In short it's not new in our community. As for me, I'm not addicted in gambling, I always control myself whenever I play. Maybe I'm just treating gambling for fun and not for profit. If I win or lose then its okay and call it a day.
4168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 08, 2017, 04:40:40 AM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
If the price goes down, just wait and do not do anything. Holding is very effective way to earn more money. Hold your coins until the price of it goes so high and that is the right time to sell it.
The mistakes are often made by traders is that they panicked when the price is down
so they chose to cutloss rather than Hold. I suggest if the price is down, keep calm and don't be panic.

I think panic selling is only just for beginners ans us we should be used to this ups and downs. Like we've seen and experience these and there's nothing new how the market always behave. When the price crashes it's time to buy coins that you eye, the coins is on sale so better to grab it or you'll miss the chance. And when you won't buy just hodl it, don't sell or you regret it with your life.
4169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2017, 05:53:47 AM
Just don't mind them as we all are different, we might be liking things that others don't and vice versa.

They may hate bitcoin, but sooner or later they will envy you for having bitcoin even before they find out your are making big profit out of it.

Well that's the reality, when people see us that we have a lot of money they will ask us if they can do what we're doing. But the fact that we already told them what to do. They think that this is a easy money like we just poop it and this really annoys me.
If someone don't like bitcoin I don't force it to them. As long as I explained it to them then it's all up to them if they wanna give a try. Besides it's their lose, not ours.
4170  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign Question on: September 07, 2017, 05:22:18 AM
I have no intent to leave my signature campaign but I'm curious to know, is it considered rude or unreliable to join a signature campaign and leave it for another?  I would think it is an annoyance but I see people post in various campaign threads that they are leaving.

As far as I know there's no rules unless stated otherwise when you join the campaign.
If you wanna leave the campaign just PM the campaign manager or post in bounty thread that you're leaving now the campaign. Some campaign manager still gives stakes for the one who leaves and some are not so better to pm the CM or post before you leave.
4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin under top 100 market cap on: September 07, 2017, 04:49:35 AM
Just look at the coinmarketcap.com and choose your coins.
Whatever we suggest you it's you that will decide right? Pick and analyze each coin so you have a good investment.
Better to look its coin circulation and total supply. Also having finite or max supply is better than having infinite supply. I think these are important for seeking coins.
4172  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 07, 2017, 02:54:39 AM
Bitcoin ia good way to invest your money people know about bitcoin are investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin is good to hold it for a long term also and a short term.
They see how bitcoin price up thats why many are interested to invest.

Yeah that's why many people invest and even known people like Bill Gates got attracted to this, we all see it's great potential in the market and for long term holding. We know that the more bitcoin we invest the more chance of getting high profit. Just always buy in low and sell when it's peak.
4173  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 07, 2017, 02:34:58 AM
Bitcoin is one of the fastest growing investment in the market right now and the pace at which Bitcoin is gaining popularity is only making it more and more valuable. Bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow and if you sell, you only loose your potential profit.
Since the amount of people that have adopted bitcoin is so low I think it is a mistake to sell at this point the big adoption is still to come and I do not plan to miss a single dollar of that when people realize the potential of bitcoin.

I think it's not that bad to sell some bitcoin if you're in need some fiat especially when there's an emergency.
And just buy back again if there's some dips again. Truly HODLing is real as  I seen how bitcoin behaves this year and it's more profitable when you hold it for long term. We're all hoping that as days passes by bitcoin price will increase more. Just by touching $5000 really indicates that bitcoin can go that far and nothing's impossible.
4174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: September 06, 2017, 08:39:38 AM
Hi - Newbie here..I would like to put down 1000 USD next week.. What would your advice be to me?

I have great doubts at the moment. I just wait for the right mementum to invest on bitcoin or altcoin. because many of the current factors are a lot of unpleasant issues and incidents about crypto.

The market now is in green again so it's not good to buy now. Good thing I bought yesterday some coins like mco, xrp, xmr and adex. As I'm looking forward that this month it will pump hard and give me more profit.
4175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Wallets? on: September 06, 2017, 08:13:15 AM
I am using myetherwallet. It is an online wallet that can keep your altcoins. It is an open source wallet so you need to be aware to your security. You are the one that will make your account and your coins safe. You must save your private key because they don't recover your account. Even you are feeling unsafe to this wallet, still it is free and you can get your wallet in an instant so for me it is ok.
The wallet that i am using to store all of my coins are myether wallet and waves wallet. This two wallets are both popular  altcoin wallets that's why it is very easy to use or convenient and very safe to store all of your coins. You will not have any problem with these two wallets because it is really safe.

Using different wallets for different coins is confusing. So better minimize it.
Myetherwallet is mostly use here by many, all coins under ther ethereum platform is here. Also try coinomi at it caters a lot of coins, and you have your private keys here. And OP don't use exchange as wallet, don't store huge amount of coins, it can be hack anytime.
4176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Speculating A Bad Thing? on: September 06, 2017, 06:40:37 AM
i don't think that speculating is a bad thing because as far as i know, with speculating we can make decision for our own price and with some analysis, sometimes our order can be filled or we can make profit. i admitted that sometimes i am using speculation when i am uncertain to determine the price.

True. Every speculation is based on single user and what he think that is good for him or her.
Speculation is something that individual user see as his/hers opinion the subject in matter. Was this price speculation or something else.

Speculation is an individual opinion in a topic and nothing to do with anyone. If you wanna believe in someone's speculation it's all up to you. It's not bad to speculate as you just trying to make a prediction in some matter. Yes sometimes it make something to hype and other people use this as a tool to make a chaos. Otherwise, speculation has no scientific basis and people just base it on what they seen and heard.
4177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can be $5,000 Again? on: September 06, 2017, 05:53:43 AM
We are now recovering from the bloody days and it looks we are back to the past when the price of bitcoin is trying to break the barrier of $3k. And yet we shouldn't celebrate at the moment, there's another awaited event on November that will shake the economy and the weak handlers will fall.

So true. Yesterday was like hell to all of us, all we see is red in exchanges.
But many consider it a shopping day as all coins are discounted. Grin
And now crypto currency are slowly recovering from its dump and hope for the next days we see some bright sky.
The $5000 bitcoin price will soon be taste again by everyone, as I see bitcoin positively.
Like yeah nothing's impossible.
4178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: September 06, 2017, 05:19:17 AM
I do not know about any company of cars which provide cars with bitcoin ..but you are giving good things to people.....great
Actually, you can buy car but not in a company, and maybe not a brand new car. You also better put your country where you live because you might see people here who live in your country and who sells cars or who have friend who sells cars. This thing might happen.

Yeah this thing can work. If there's no company right now that op can buy a car he can post in social media to find sellers and bitcoiners at the same time. Maybe OP should wait for years from now and maybe that time many companies will accept bitcoin to purchase cars.
4179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 06, 2017, 03:55:29 AM
How about "what if Government Bans Air"?  Not possible, right?

Same way banning Bitcoin won't be possible because It is  decentralized and owned nor controlled by no one.

Haha I like your joke brother Grin Nice comparison huh.
Yeah its true like it won't happen. Being decentralized attracts people to use it, government is hands off to this and they can't use it for their corruption. Well if its get banned I will immediately exchange it to our local currency.
4180  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a way to raise money through public fundraising for sick friend? on: September 05, 2017, 06:32:13 AM
I dont know if this is off-topic,correct me if I am wrong.
I would like to know is there a way here on bitcointalk or other places on net for fundraising-to collect money in a short period of time for sick friend? Any advice would be appriciated

My friend I think this is not the right place to ask for financial support. I'm sorry.

Maybe OP is lost. Yes this aren't the right place to ask for help. People here are more focus in crypto currency and maybe this won't catch their attention. Try posting it in social media as I seen many of these that people helped. Just post what really happens to your friend and if it gets sympathy many will share your story until it will get to some institutions or some good samaritans.
Also my sympathy to your friend. Hope he'll get better.
