4161  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-11-02]Facebook is banning the Bitcoin hashtag on: November 06, 2020, 12:59:15 AM
I typed "#bitcoin" on the search box of Facebook and it says that it has 231k people posting it. You can see it for yourself guys. I think that's sort of a bug that Facebook did and for few users. As I can see in the results, the posts with the hashtag include old posts of months ago.
I've seen the same post a month ago about "keeping our community safe" when you use the hashtag. But other than that, I've seen that it's allowed for others.
4162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 05, 2020, 09:51:01 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum aren't in the deep but we can say that cryptocurrencies are highly volatile if someone wants to make his investments out of it, except the stable coins that don't move on the price of $1.
Along with the rise of bitcoin, there will projects that will come out of their graves and will start to see pumps again trying to prey emotional investors. Those that are looking for quick profits and they are the ones that are being targeted because they are gullible for those tokens.
4163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is pumping on: November 05, 2020, 09:16:31 PM
This might be the first time that Bitcoin surpassed 14k after 2017.
Yes. It has surpassed the peak of 2019 which was $13,000.

So let me ask you a question in one word tell me:
1. Will Bitcoin create a new ATH?
Definitely, no doubts. And this end of the year could come by surprise but I'm not expecting it to be early as that timeframe.

2. What is your price prediction?
For the ATH? $20,000 - $100,000. Those are the prices that everyone is thinking about the upcoming ATH.

3. Will Bitcoin reach $50,000 this time.
Without a doubt, it will but it's a matter of time.

They might think that tagging the project along with McAfee's name will give attention to details and attract more investors. Maybe they've done well with that?
But aren't they aware of the recent life of him?
4165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: November 05, 2020, 12:34:49 PM
To be honest, I am not reading any TOS or disclaimer in any site that I am accessing, I will only check its security, I need to be sure that it is having a good security feature and it will not run after some months or years. I will also check if KYC is needed in this site, I don't want to send a KYC, it could be hassle for me, most importantly I will look for some review of other player, research before playing that is the good thing to do.
Well, if it's boring to read the TOS, there are shortcuts that others likely doing it too. Searching for keywords like KYC for that one worry that we have.
KYC is an inconvenience when we're gambling and it is the reason why some gamblers caught by surprise that they have to do it because they haven't seen or read the TOS.
KYC is always present in a site I guess, however, not all the time they'll require you a KYC. Maybe they are following some rules like Binance have , because in Binance you can trade as long as you don't exceed their limit, but just in a separate scenario because trading is mostly not illegal while gambling is illegal in some countries.
It is present and will only ask you if obligatory but if the casino you gamble isn't requiring kyc, that's way better. I think there were other members who have explained the kyc portion made by a casino if time permits.
They do it if the situation entails doubts or trouble seen by them.
4166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another project down or just too cautious? on: November 05, 2020, 11:42:58 AM
It's possible that they have already run away. If they are in maintenance, they will not let their website to be like that. Unsecure and no note what happened to them.
That seems to be a clue that they don't care about their investors nor their project. A simple alert and reminder through their website can't even be made. My speculation can also be wrong but do they have any other channels to announce and give updates?

4168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 05, 2020, 09:53:47 AM
Even though crypto-market is open 24/7 I've noticed that trading at certain hours (depending on time zone) is more active with more volatility. Sometimes it's right after US stock market opens, sometimes it's on weekends.
What do you think the reasons?
Keep on observing those time differences because you can use it as an advantage and be part of your strategy when you trade. I don't have that observation for the differences of time but with the correlation of the bitcoin market to stocks, there were several times that it's been said that they have somehow relation. But you need to remember that during trading hours of crypto, there's no exact detail that will prove that it's interconnected to any market and even it is trading hours.
4169  Economy / Speculation / Re: New peak: $14500. No bearish sign. Keep it up the King on: November 05, 2020, 09:14:25 AM
But I guess we will have a little pull back so as to adjust the price.
Yes, wait for it. But let's hope that it will be the same as the last time's pull back and it isn't that hurting much at all. The price becomes stable every pull back and it goes up with a higher price which is unexpected. Yet, we still have to expect any unexpected price.

Higher high and then higher low  Roll Eyes
I guess those comparisons about higher lows are becoming true. It's much better to check those higher lows and we might see have a better comparison for this year. I don't want to be overwhelmed but looking at $14,000, it just makes our day good.
4170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 04, 2020, 11:42:43 PM
This always depends on the strategy of the trader. If he's okay doing BTC/Alt trade, he knows that it's better for him to do that. But if I'll be giving a suggestion, this is no time to use your bitcoin if you're trusting the pump will be in favor of bitcoin.
We're seeing the breaking of barriers for higher prices and this is an advantage if you use the spare money to trade than to use bitcoin.
4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason Why $ETH sudden jump on: November 04, 2020, 10:50:14 PM
The launch and the soar of bitcoin's price made Eth pump lately. There's something to go for in December and I'm speculating that we're going to see a better rally by next month because of 2.0.

Finally. The users who bought 32 ETH so they can stake have been waiting for the moment to happen some had already sold their token for being impatient. I'm hoping some altcoins will also pump.

Those who keep watching the price really noticed the jump since it goes from $380 to $400 all of a sudden.
We will see if the same scenario will happen because of Eth to pump other altcoins too. The impatient ones yet still interested have to rebuy it but, there are pools that smallholders can join to complete that 32 eth requirement, correct or not?
4172  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: November 04, 2020, 10:04:55 PM
I have gambled a bit today but I have never checked the minimum withdrawal amount before until today, which I find a bit higher than should be. I didn't had too much money left to gamble for today so I just sent my 6-7 bucks into wolf.bet to have some fun, it was definitely a good amount of money and I gambled for a good long while, at the end I had about 12-13 bucks and I said to myself since I doubled my profit I should probably cash out and leave for a while before I restart

You didn't say what coin you've been gambling with

If it is Bitcoin, then the reason for so high a minimum withdrawal amount may have to do with high network fees (just a hunch). The minimum withdrawal amount for doges is same as before, i.e. 2,000 doges (I just checked it out), which is way lower than 0.04 BTC in case you were playing with bitcoins
He said that it's 0.04 and that's particularly for the minimum withdrawal amount for Ethereum.
That can be seen on https://wolf.bet/faq

Thanks for doing this instead of me

Anyway, given how high Ethereum network fees can be, raising the minimum withdrawal amount is not something you should be particularly surprised in. But there can be other reasons, of course. As an aside (not related to Wolf.bet), I had my ETH transaction not confirmed for two months (sic) until I had to cancel it by creating a self-transaction with the same nonce. I sent bitcoins with very low fees in the past, and all transactions were confirmed in the end, even though it had taken days. With Ethereum, however, it never occurred
NP.
Transaction discussion was going to be off-topic in wolf.bet's thread but I only want to say that for two months it wasn't confirmed? wow, you had the patience to wait for that long.
4173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 04, 2020, 09:37:17 PM
Can someone balance me real quick, how do people get losses even though we know that Bitcoin is destined for growth?
is it because people are looking to buy and sell quickly which may result in a loss if market falls?
Because in my view i feel like buying and holding on to your bitcoin until its value has increased(which is an assured) will always set you for profits.

please correct me if im wrong...
Because they do day trading. If a person just holds bitcoin and he knows that in the future there will be more growth, he'll get to buy more bitcoins adding to his entire portfolio. But the other way of doing it is through trading, getting profits which will be the amount that will be used for buying more bitcoins. And in reality, there are only very few day traders that are winning in their trades. Having that curiosity, you should determine which action you must do, remain as a holder, be a day trader or you can do both without touching your holding.
4174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 04, 2020, 09:06:56 PM
It is another conspiracy theory that it was "intentional" to print more money. But with the lockdowns, there's no actual cash flow that came into each country that has implemented it. A total freeze for most industries will also freeze the economy and that's why they have resorted to print more money to inject it into the economy. But what's the real issue about these injections is that there are officials that probably took advantage of it and get a chunk from it.
4175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grayscale is stockpiling of bitcoin on: November 04, 2020, 08:08:10 PM
The article was recently published a few hours ago but it doesn't mean that the news is fresh. We knew it that Grayscale has been reported to be buying newly-mined bitcoin's.

Yes, it will serve as a store of value mostly for institutional investors but not well adopted if it's too expensive and scarce.
It's being used commonly as a store of value these days but not just those financial institutions/institutional investors. Every individual knows that it's best to hold bitcoin. And, it's not yet expensive if you're going long term to bitcoin. About its scarcity, it's known to have a fixed supply so you do have to expect it going to be scarce.
4176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 04, 2020, 07:43:34 PM

How much the capital you had for that trade? in every possible cryptocurrency, you can have your day trading.
As long as the coin is not a stable coin, you can do day trading on it. But it does requires patience and most of the time, if you don't have it, you will lose your trades. Congratulations for making a profit with your try.

Let me guess base on what he earn daily I think his capital is around 100-300$ to earn that amount daily.
Maybe that's his amount or can even be higher. He hasn't replied yet or maybe he just missed that question. I'm interested to know how much the capital he used to start and make himself earn $20. It's not easy but it's really possible to earn that amount if you're well in trading.
I hope that we can get an answer from op.  Smiley

From football to roulette, thats very odd switch man. Roulette is more of a lucky game and the risk is very high compare to your old hobby. Why don’t you try to switch to other sports either? But it’s your call man, I hope you will find a good alternative game.
It is not odd IMO. Someone can play various types of gambling games at the same time yet remain focused to his favorite gambling game where he is good at.
I think the most important thing is your choice of where you will play roulette. All of the suggestions say that it's a game of luck so then you have to choose the casino you will play, the one that's known and reputable.

I also think that it's not odd. Many players like to combine so called games of luck and those like sports betting where you also need some knowledge and information that might help you to the profit. It's intellectually different and that is good for diversity of your gambling habbits and as well diversifyimg the risk. So, why not to give it a try.
AFAIK, a gambler can have a different favorite or preferred casino games. As you wait whenever you place your bets in sports, you can play with roulette.
That can be someone's routine and it's not going to be odd for others because they are also doing it.

trying other sports game is boring as he said because he alreay tried many kinds , thats why he wana check out something different this time .
He's bored because his probable favorite team was infected and for any other reasons.

You're right! Theres no limitation on what are the games that we should play on because it all matters with interest and your mood on certain circumstances.
Its our money so its our right on how we gonna spend it.If you dont able to play sports or for some other personal reasons yet your interest had been poked out
in roullete then you can switch anytime and then go back when you already had the feeling. When it comes to strategies then we do all know that this is
a luck based one which means no strategy that will ensure your profitability.
A gambler can be a gambler of all trades and do whatever he likes and choose the best gambling game that he wants at the same time. Switch anytime that he wants and remain at his best game.
Strategy comes out naturally and builds out as you gamble. It may come as the natural strategy you will discover how you will play the game or what you think can help you win more. It's not the actual strategy that others are saying but it's the way how you will play the game or if you do have any practice before you play the game.
4179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 03, 2020, 03:01:06 PM
I just tried day trading in eth and the price fluctuations which happens continuously is something where we can make profit in daily basis, guys from today morning to evening I could have earned nearly 15 to 20$. Buying low and selling in a reasonable profit, again when it comes to my price I use to buy and sell for a reasonable margin this will work only if there's continuously fluctuation, just have a try and make daily profit.

4180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile wallet for newbies? on: November 03, 2020, 09:07:52 AM
Electrum for bitcoin only and then Coinomi for multiple cryptocurrency support based on my experience, it's an easy wallet to use. Although it was reported to have some issues but for studying purpose, I think it's a refresher for starters. But before suggesting them a wallet, I agree that they have to be informed what they are accepting and how it works.
But with most of the wallet applications that are pegged in local currencies, they can easily understand how these wallet works. They just needed to some debriefing before you send them any amount.
