Okay so you are taking about the Ghana Teacher who was drawing the whole setup for MS word to make students aware about it because there was no system in the school yet the dedication of the teacher was not broken and he took the responsibility himself to tell them about it :

~~~
I would say that most of the current crypto experts are only self proclaimed one's and don't have an idea about the market at all and you should not believe them at all.The best one According to me is Andres who is so passionate about Bitcoin and can provide you in depth knowledge about it if you are capable of understanding it.
Yes! Yes! This is exactly the one I was referring to and you can find all kinds of stories like this all from Africa and India where there is a great need for education to bring the people into the digital age and yet where most people will never even get the chance to see a computer in their lives. Sad but inspirational to read about them.
So when people talk big about crypto influencers who do nothing do further the cause, I just roll eyes.
Andreas as you say is one of the few who is so different from the rest!
Sevilla. They have to win tonight don't they? I doubt anyone in this pool would predict otherwise or is that just me trying to psycho someone into drawing? Who knows. I lie in the bottom waiting.
Sevilla won 2:0, as planned, checked the pool and I think we have 10 exact scores in the pool on this one, probably most since the pool started
yeah, odds are barely on Real side against Villareal, had to check earlier results, and yeah, Real does not win there too often, so it is not unexpected to see odds like those, nevertheless, Villareal is having issues this season, and this can go on Real side
I don't think I've ever seen so many exact scores for one game either. Sevilla really gave everyone a nice start to the weekend, but I think everyone will be surprised by Villareal game tonight. Not just because they're a favorite, but also because Real are under pressure. But the Barca game is what 90% of people will be on one side, the most onesided derby in the entire La Liga I believe!
Catching them very young, one of my greatest mentor Gaius the first African to invest in Crypto and now lectures crypto all around the world would say. I think this initiative is welcomed and kids would get Early knowledge about crypto-currency, more reasons to believe the future is bright for Crypto-currency, and it's even amazing that slowly government are allowing people make their choices in crypto, I really wish I had someone to teach me earlier about crypto-currency I believe I would be better than I am now.
I have a lot of respect for Indians and Africans in terms of teaching technology. You see all their videos on youtube just teaching people without hype or without fame. I remember this story of one African teacher I can't remember the country, he was teaching students to use computers without computers. How? By drawing the screens for every software like Word on blackboard!
Because he knew even though they may never have computers but if they went to college they would know how to type and use software.
I see the same thing with crypto, so many influencers are teaching nonsense and gambling. But the good ones are also there teaching the good stuff and without the same recognition.
Valencia catch a draw last night with Bilbao, should be enough for a re-match at home, and final with probably Betis
Sevilla and Elche will open this round
Villareal and Real are the most entertaining match for the weekend, but let us not forget about Barcelona city derby, Espanyol could be solid opponent to show is Barca in winning series or what
They were not even the favorites and I thought the odds would prove to be right but woke up to see that. A lot of replays doesn't help any team here.
Sevilla. They have to win tonight don't they? I doubt anyone in this pool would predict otherwise or is that just me trying to psycho someone into drawing? Who knows. I lie in the bottom waiting.
So excited for another Barca weekend hehe.
And tomahawk9 I totally agree how is Real not a favorite there??
What a great week for Sportsbet.io partners right guys? First, Southampton scores 4 goals (yes, even own goal too should count lol) and wins against fancy team.
Then Arsenal show us they still have fight. No Aubameyeng, missing 1 man after sending off, and they still attacked in the final minutes apparently!
Actually, Algeria made me also disappointed. I was expecting them to play in the finale at least before the tournament started.
Seems like some of the teams all meet again soon with WC qualifications, avoid Algeria from now on (jk).
I'm sorry, I don't want to be rude but what @SmokerFace said above, "it disturbs my focus during the betting", is complete nonsense. It sounds like if he could concentrate better, he could win more, or something.
Slots are there to help you to relax. Don't make a job out of it!   Grin
It's a problem with the forum, or rather, a lot of forums. Spammers who don't even gamble just commenting for the sake of it, I see it in a lot of ANN threads. Just need to report as spam.
I think the problem here with a lot of posters is they don't actually have the experience of gambling with these games. I don't play slots myself but I totally get why they're fun and why people are hooked.
And it's the only form of gambling I know where there's a storyline (depending on the slots) and unlockable quests, etc.
4170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: February 10, 2022, 01:26:41 PM
Couldn't agree more, and been brought up countless times in this forum about how most "traders" are actually gamblers. And the truth is, most traders fail at one or two of those points, so start out doing the right things, but after a while become impatient, or greedy, and then switch into gambler mode. Could be interesting maybe to see if any gambler eventually turned trader!
Emotional point I think tough to overcome though, and that doesn't necessarily turn you into a gambler. Loads of wall street regular traders get emotional in black swan events.
What a game Saints! All the reports say they deserved to win and they were after all the least favorite team but they never stopped attacking and Spurs paid the price.
I'd like to thank Steve and Sportsbet. They have sent me these two very nice jerseys + 1.5mbtc free bet for finishing the AFCON pool at the 1st position. The jerseys have reached my home one day after Steve got my address.
Well done to you again! I finished very badly, I blame Algeria mainly as that was the team I picked and they did so badly I wonder what's the point of having so many global stars in their team when they played as if they could easily win.
4172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kazakhstan proposes power price hikes and taxes targeting crypto miners on: February 10, 2022, 09:21:54 AM
Now, since the pandemic in 2020, we have been witnessing another bailout of banks. In this bailout, it happens globally, not only in the US.
The bailouts started a long time ago. Here in Asia before 2000s already a lot of banks were closed down, some after existing over 100 years. And others the corrupt governments bailed out. Then it happened in the US as you said giving birth to Bitcoin. I have a feeling compared to those, the banks and governments feel this time is not so bad. So we have to deal with another few decades of financial corruption. Bitcoin is a shining light but not yet is the time for it to come.
You can find a simple "table" rule for Blackjack here: https://blackjackdoc.com/blackjack-cheatsheet.htm
I would not really heed to teachings of other people as something that should be determining how you want to play. Obviously if you hit 20 and ask for another card then it is a bit weird, but at the same time if it is your decision and you want to do that then do that. That is what I have suggested to people at all times, and not just about blackjack neither it could be poker or it could be sportsbetting or it could be any casino game.
If you want to play different than any other person than you should do that, gambling supposed to be fun and if you just follow what other people are telling you then you might as well use a bot and not gamble yourself. Doesn't mean you shouldn't learn the "right" way, but you can choose to ignore it.
Man, guys like you.
This isn't about the teachings of other people, this is the cheat sheet, using odds and probability to determine the best probability to win. Which I can tell you is 100% more fun and enjoyable than setting yourself up to lose.
In case you never gambled before (it sounds like you never), Blackjack is famous for being the lowest edge game in casinos, BUT only if you follow the right "rules" of what to do with each hand, depending on the rules of the table and the dealer's up hand.
Hitting on 20 is not just "a bit weird". If it makes payout x100, sure even I would do that. But to risk a high chance of busting to win the same stakes that you already have a high chance of hitting? Madness. If you play live tables, people get pissed.
Of course, since your comment is weird itself, I assume you've never gambled anything significant on a Blackjack hand of 20.
4174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are you guys exploring for new coins, and monitoring the exicted? on: February 09, 2022, 01:21:05 PM
I don't search for new coins anymore, since I don't buy or "invest" anymore.
I do still read up from time to time about interesting projects for sure, but as soon as it has something to do with buying, I'm no longer interested.
I like those projects where you can talk and build, and just do stuff for fun. And their tokens aren't even a big part of it. I find them usually by chance, by some interview somewhere or a great article they wrote. Anything else you find is paid efforts, so not worth it.
4175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 09, 2022, 09:01:40 AM
Why not ask those campaigns paying out in Bitcoin like for signature campaigns? They just bypass all those wallet problems and instead just have a loose agreement where you can consider the participants as freelancers.
People used to do it all the time with cash and Paypal, Bitcoin makes it even easier as here's no approval process for payments. Pay and it's paid.
The exact opposite on who I saw winning the matches today with New Castle winning over Everton and West Ham beating Watford.
For some reason I did see a Manchester United draw. Because just when you see them starting to get their team on a good run, they find a way to throw it all away. Can't be blaming the coach all the time so Ralf Rangnick wasn't the target the fans were looking at to this match.
I also never expected Newcastle to win against Everton,I thought maximum a draw would have been the best result for them but yet they got what it took to win the game.For me at least I got a correct score on West Ham which saved my day yesterday night and I also never expected Manchester United to draw against a team which in the latest games has a ton of lost games.Probably they took it easily after scoring the goal and wanted to keep the result but anytime you behave like this you get punished in the end,you need to attack to score more goals and secure the victory.
About half of us predicted this and Betwrong even got it exact!
Newcastle was the favorite though. 2.1 odds compared to Everton who was 2.8 or something like this? Which made sense if you looked at the new buys from January, which paid off immediately for Newcastle and yet not so much for Everton. I also only read now from match report that Donny de Beek moved there from Manchester United!
194.9 mbtc in #10 spot in daily wager competition and still 2.5 hours to go! $8000 in 21 hours and that's just the 10th place guy, what a show!
Man, this place is really heating up every time. Gone are the days when I felt I could challenge, but I guess this is just a signal to me to build up my balance very slowly and then when there's enough to maybe reach 200 mbtc with 10x wager, that's when I can go test the waters again.
Awesome stuff, players!
4178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: February 08, 2022, 01:08:01 PM
nothing like "bulls" or "bears" in Crypto. Just market makers swaying price action in the way it will profit them most. and swaying it to liquidate the greatest number of traders serves no profit purpose. It would be a strictly emotional/spiteful action.
Oh there are bulls and bears in crypto trust me. Market makers or takers can play both roles. If I'm a bear, for example, I'd come in and place sell orders all over the place as soon as I can. Buy up every available coin and place them all on sell orderbook.
And bears do this at times. Just like bulls can also just take all the top prices off the orders no matter how high it goes.
Never imagined Adama Traore getting plaudits but happy if he continues in this form.
looks like Xavi wants to integrate the well-known Barca dna with the more physical and fast-paced style of football we see in other leagues.
Back in the old days (just 10years ago lol), it was all about tiki-taka and a slower-tempo football and just having a bunch world-class skilled playmakers playing together up front (Xavi, Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Fabregas), someone like Adama traore wouldn't would fit that style of play (it's literally the reason the club let him go a few years ago), but now it seems like Xavi realized they needed to adapt to the new ways and try something new, hell, they even have the typical tall guy to throw a bunch of crosses to like Luuk de jong (not a Xavi signing but still). It's very refreshing to see, ngl
It could be a really good idea too. Pep's tiki taka cannot really be implemented if the entire team isn't on the same level or the same capability, but if you keep the passing and patience surrounding the physicality of someone like Adama, it could really work, especially because La Liga doesn't really have the means to cope with this.
Refreshing true.
I want to learn a lot about the game of blackjack where playing cards with an existing pair, but I don't really understand with card pairs having a high or low win rate, where can I read for the perfect card pair? I'm bored with the dice game
You can find a simple "table" rule for Blackjack here: https://blackjackdoc.com/blackjack-cheatsheet.htm
This is external I am only sharing, you can find plenty of other similar "cheat sheets". Be wary you have to account for a lot of things like "dealer stands on 16/17" or BJ payout or even number of decks used. But in general you can use this to help you decide what to do on splits.
As you can see, never split pair of 5 or 10
